Shellbell.. yeh i feed him in his bouncer now when we're home as our high chair does tilt at all either (we were given it so thats no biggy). Jess is a huge wriggler so sitting him on my lap i think would only result in me being covered with more food than is in his tummy! But its ok.. DH said i can get a stroller so will be doing that.
Yeh i wonder how she'd go.. i bet she'll be fine. Jess is slowly starting to get use to his veges, but he absolutely loves the Rice Cereal. Just start her when you feel she's ready, no need to rush these things.
Laurin.. i hope Rylee is better tonight for you so you can at least get some sleep yourself.
Chrissy.. ohhhh that sounds soooo goooooood.. we had fish and it was YUCK! I dont like fish that tastes fishy and this did peh peh.. so yeh chips was all i had.. might have to get something else small soon.
Maz.. hope you were able to find a cool spot somewhere.
Nessa.. hey chickadee.. oh lucky you having your parents to look after the munchkins. My mums coming to stay from Wednesday til Saturday so will have someone else too to give me some time to my self.

nessa, well the kris kringle thingo.........when we were all pregnant some of us (ME) didnt get a baby shower, so we had a online one, and bought a gift for someone..maz sorted all the names as to who was buying for who, xmas came along and we did another and sharleen organised the names etc, so i was just wondering if we are doing a easter one..............but we set a limit of what we spend usually $10-$20,and we have a great time!! lots of naughty chat had...........

thanks for your wishes.. my step dad passed away this evening... looks like it was a blood infection and he was too ill too fight it. He had cancer and it was extremly aggressive.. he only lived 6 months from when he was diahgnosed..xoxo lp

Nelle - My last name is a biscuit brand. Seriously, I still laugh when I tell people my last name and think of Wagon Wheels. My poor hubby :lol: I liked having my Austrian surname as we were the only ones in the phonebook... now I am one amongst about 10 pages!

Well Jess had another screamer last night when trying to put him down.. he wont settle with DH at all now, only me and my arms and back as absolutely breaking with his 9kg boofhead! But He didnt wake at all last night until 6.45am this morning so i guess im happy with that, just still a bit sore.

lp - I'm so sorry to hear about your step-dad, how are you coping? Will you need to go back down south for the funeral or are they up here?
nessa - ggrrrr at hubby! Some people just have no idea what it takes to look after children do they. I've only got Nina, so don't know what it's like to have a 3 year old as well, but I can imagine it's full on, and noisy! I hope he's not as bad as last time and starts to understand soon ... before he's kicked out again.

Well Nina is still sick, doesn't seem to be getting any better ATM. Nights are a nightmare too. I don't know if it's cause she's sick, or if it's the growth spurt, OR BOTH! but last night she was waking every 2 hours and Saturday night was just as bad. I am so tired today. Doesn't help that it's raining and quite cool, which is sleeping weather. Nina's just gone to sleep now, so I might try and get some sleep before she wakes up.

Morning ladies.
Jett woke at 7am this morning cause Daddy was being noisy. So now he is back in bed again hopefully for a few hours. Im sooooo tempted to do the same but I would feel guilty as I do have a little bit of housework to do. Im all on my lonesome til this arvo, sis+boy have gone to Melb for the day, Dh is at work. Ive got silverside cooking again (yummo).
As for the party business well.........I will update on what was said to DH at work tonight! Im sure there will be biatching but Dh has decided his sissy boy days are over, he's going to stick up for and by me from now on :clap:
LP - Im sorry to hear about your Step Dad :( I hope your doing ok, considering the situation :hug:
Its crappy weather here today so I think I might just go back to bed after all.

well back to friday nite thanks for listening to me vent :lol: jase copped it when he got home, didn'tget back here till nealry 8.20pm by then jack was ready for bed, so I didn't get to go out, and he didn't understand why i was so ****ed:wall: anyway we soughted it out he headed offagain made him walk though, he was home by 1/2 10pm so anyway by the time we went to bed we were friends again
ok gotta go do a make-up lesson for swimming we missed last week, also wish me luck jase is off to blackwater to do a course for the next 2 days so will be gone 2-3 nites we haven't had a nite apart since jack was born *eek*

Taking Nina to the dr's today. It's probably just a cold but she has a cough and her chest sounds wheezy, so just to be on the safe side I'll get her checked out. I feel heaps better now cause I had an hour sleep

my advice to you would be to you rach would be to make dinner while jack is sleeping during the day... or else you never seem to find time to make dinner. that is my biggest problem with sam working away... it comes to 9pm and i have not eaten or thought about what to cook. other than that, just think about the fact that you have the whole bed to yourself!
i'm off to make breakfast, then ainsleigh and i are going swimming today. can't wait. hope you all have a wonderful day.... still on for tomorrow anna**?

Oww Jodi I hope El Nina gets better soon! I agree it's a good idea to take her to the doctor just to check. Can you get Eukyrub up there? River's chest was rattling like a ghost train the other day and mum told me to get out the faithful Eukyrub and I was like 'mum that's not going to help', but it did.
I can't bring myself to burn that eucalyptus candle you got me mate - even though I'm not usually like that with candles - usually I'm like 'if I burn it, I'll have to buy one to replace it' :p Well, it's our wedding anniversary on Thurs, so maybe I'll burn it then.
Rikki and Rach, hope you have fun swimming with your babies!! I'd better start looking into lessons for River hey...is anyone NOT doing swimming lessons?
Ness, Jodi gave sound directions to my blog - but it's not really that funny, and I've only done 2 posts! :D Talk about putting the pressure on me when you said it was funny Anna!! Now I've got to try!! Ah well. I can add it to my list of things I can do instead of housework.

Rikki - Yep, still on for tomorrow! But you will have to excuse the pigsty - I just cannot be stuffed cleaning right now, would rather get some well needed sleep. :lol:
Rach - I agree with RIkki, try to get as much as possible of dinner made whilst Jack is asleep - I found that even chopping up the vegies in advance makes a big difference. Or invest in a slow cooker.
Jodi - Poor little Nina, hope she gets better soon.
Nelle - Sorry to put the pressure on! I just like the way you write.
Better go and at least fold the mountain of clean clothes that I have sitting here.

Not much to say except I feel so worn out. Well I feel like that everyday! I need to find a dentist cause my wisdom tooth is playing up (again) and my gums are sore and actually looking pretty bad. I'm prolly run down and lacking one thing or another!
Left the pram in the car again and Df has gone off to work so I think our little walk down the shops and to the lake is off and stuck home again. Been indoors last few days because of the heat.
jodi- Hope little Nina picks up soon, must be a worry having a sick bub.
Rikki- Hows Ainsleigh's eye going? Clearing up?
little*princess- So sorry to hear about your step dad. Cancer is such an awful disease, I've seen how quickly people seem to go from appearing pretty healthy one min and then the next they are gone.
