just a quick one from me. I've got the flu and tonsilitis now, so feeling like absolute crap. Nina is slowing getting better. She's sleeping relatively good during the night thank god. She's asleep now so I'm gonna go back to bed.

Jodi- God Jodi whats going on up there with all the sickness! Hugs to you and hope you get better real soon. Is DH home to help you out?
rikki- I am a pretend baker, i go to the bakery then come home set the food out on a platter at pretend i made it. Lol. Luckily no-one has asked for a recipe yet!
Anna**- things are getting alot better here. I started doing a dreamfeed and she still was waking 11:30ish so one night i thought i won't go in (she was only grizzling) and she went off to sleep after 10-15mins. So now we are getting 4-5 hours straight! The book "the no-cry sleep solution" has ways to help with bubs that wake frequently thru the night for comfort feeds or dummy or whatever maybe you could borrow it and try that if things don't start to settle for you.
maz- Those teeth are a nuisence it sounds like. Hope they pop thru and give Vy and you some relief. We're still got our appt with the sleep school, next Thurs, her day sleeps are still a shocker. I spend so much time rocking the cot and cuddling then she actually will sleep for!
Laurin- not too much longer til you are back home, you must be looking forward to that!
caddie- i hope everything goes well at the appt today. Keep us informed.
Ahh gotta go to dentist after lunch, i am scared!!! I know I need at least one wisdom tooth out, maybe 2 but at least that won't be today.
After the dentist going to pop into MCHN to get a 5 month weigh and chat about solids.
I had my OBGYN appointment today to discuss my recurrent m/c and our TTC plan. He was a very nice locum (the Dr I was supposed to see is on holidays) who took me seriously and was very thorough.
He said he would like to not do tests for the miscarriages as in all likelyhood they were just bad luck as Ive carried a live baby to full term. Unless I have another one, then theyll do tests. He also said no more surgery until we've TTC for 6mths and nothing has happened. He said we were right to start trying within 6mths of bub in light of the last TTC journey. He did an u/s and said I am polycystic but didnt say I have PCOS? Im only CD 8 and already I have 10 folli's on my right ovary and 8 on my left. Which is a bit excessive he said. Could be the reason for my miscarriages and infertility. I dont have any other signs of PCOS except for acne which Ive had since I was 13. Any PCOS gals who could shed some light on why he didnt make a PCOS diagnosis???
Sooo all in all Im pleased with the appointment and plan of attack. Atleast I wont have to wait years for help again, August is not so far away, and hopefully we will get and stay pregnant before that :)
He also said if I miss my period and get a + HPT then I should ring straight away for an appointment right on 6wks to have an u/s done so we can manage the pregnancy accordingly and hopefully avoid another m/c.

I just properly read the site I bought my nappy bag from and it says that with bags it's not express, it's 2-7 working days - how will I wait?? I ordered last Thursday.

Shell - did you know you can get these things that go under the feet of the cot and rocks the actual cot for you. I forgot what they are called but It would save your arm and allow you to get out of the room while its being done.

well I am having a blah day, went to swimming lessons jack was real good until the end he was getting tired, anyway today I feel fat, ugly and very unsociable didn't even stay to chat with girls after swimming, am sure one of them would have commented, I just felt ughhhh
so jack is down for a nap I have a heap to do, really need to get motivated would love for Jase to come home to a nice tidy house :) also want to drive to rocky friday for the day to go shopping so have to ask jase when we talk tonight

Hi girls,good news! The dr said she just has a really bad flat spot and that we just have to wait and see.She will always have some small degree of head flatness but would only noticable if she shaves her head at 21!!! Ruby may also be in the west australian regarding flat spots and the increase in babies having it so she could be a celebrity!!!
He said it would be more of a pain to her if she had a helmut so a weight off my mind.

Dentist wasnted to painful, just the bill! Even after the health insurance discount still cost me $100, but it was a first visit to this dentist. have to have x-ray of teeth on sat so they can decide if wisdom teeth can come out in the chair or hospital.
Ash got weighed is now just over 6.5kg, she just sounds smaller than alot of the bubs on here. We're going to start solids this weekend so I've bought her spoons and bowl.
caddie- thats fantastic news must be such a load off your mind knowing there is no plans for surgery.
*Belle*- Hugs to you. I just don't know what to say to help you feel better. i wish your hubby would be a bit more supportive, must make things even harder not having him on side. Hopefully your psych visit may come up with a new plan. You on meds? Maybe they could change what you're on.
AnnaT- great to hear your appt turned out well. Its nice you got a good Dr who sounds like they know what they are doing.
Rach75- hope you are feeling better. Hopefully when jase comes home it will cheer you up and make you feel heaps better.

Maz? whats wrong with SIL?
CAddie - she found a lump on the side of her neck when she was 3months pg. Had a biops of it 3 weeks ago and it came back cancerous. Her baby was born in december so he's 3 months now. Has to have it removed and then radio treatment. I just hope that they get it all cause Oliver is there first baby and they really wanted 4. I suppose yourve gotta be happy with what god decided to give ya. LIfe is such a learning curb.
Going to turn off all the lights and watch the lightening. Its raining properly now and there's heaps of thunder and lightening. Might get the camera out.
Oh Maz, enjoy the storm - I've been hanging out for a real good thunderstorm for ages and we haven't had one! I hope you have a great time watching it.

Yuck, I think my period is going to return soon. I've been spotting a bit. I've gotten so used to it just not being there! I thought still exclusively BFing and still getting up overnight that I wouldn't get it just yet. Hopefully it'll just stay as a spotting, what about you other BFer's? Have all yours returned?
I don't think my DF should watch 24 before coming to bed cause he had big nightmare where hes yelling out holy **** and jumping out of bed and another time I woke up to him grabbing my arm! This is the reason why we can't co-sleep ever cause he has these dreams (I'm just blaming it on 24 for last nights ones).
Anna**- I haven't started solids yet but I have let Ash suck on a piece of rock melon and water melon and she really loved it. when I took it away she got so upset!
maz- As Anna suggested could she freeze eggs? What have they said bout the radiotherapy, any chance of it affecting reproductively?
I need to find motivation somewhere, every morn I drag myself out of bed and struggle to do much at all, have no energy whatsoever!

shell - my period return a month after having Nina. She's had the occasional formula, but nothing much, and none for 3 months now.
Heath will ocassionally sleep talk while sleeping, but nothing like you DH ... that's scary!!

Still sick here, Nina is getting better though, which is great. I've run out of nappies so gotta go shopping now, luckily I have a couple in her nappy bag. I really don't want to be going shopping while sick, but gotta do it. Heath can't get time off at the moment as they're really busy at work, so just plodding along on my own.
Havent had the chance to talk to SIL yet..am going to ring her tonight and suggest freezing some eggs.

and he is now rolling finally he rolled once a few weeks back, tuesday rolled twice tummy to back, yesterday twice again and I think if had blown on his back he was that far from going back to tummy, and this morning he had his 40min nap on the floor heard him wake and thought no leave him play for a few minutes heard a noise and he was on his back :clap: so clever

Rach- We haven't started yet planning to this weekend, just was waiting til Ashleigh got over the 5 month mark, was planning to wait til 6 months but I can tell she is ready now, we've been playing with her spoon with nothing on it and she opens her mouth for it and loves looking at our food.

Well our TV is stuffed, thank god we've got the little one in the bedroom, might have to bring it out to hook up to the foxtel. Last few days the screen just got bigger so that you couldn't see part of what you were watching cause it was outside the edges. Like sports games we couldn't see a score cause it wouldn't fit in the screen and now all of a sudden it just keeps flicking off into stand by mode.
And I need to see the Powerball results tonight cause we are planning on being 25 million dollars richer!

Anna**.. it kinda comes and goes.. mainly seems to come on in the afternoons.. i just feel worn out lately, though im still getting a fare bit of sleep at night.. dunno whats going on in my noggin.. like maz suggested, might be the pill im on.. but im not too keen on raincoats.. DTD hurts enough atm as it is with out some added friction.

Rach.. i only started Jess when he tured 5 months a week or so ago.. but he absolutely loves them now.. took a little while to get use to but he holds his mouth open now while im scooping up the veges :)

I think Ashleigh's toothy pegs are trying to come thru. I can feel bumps and she is always rubbing her hand or toy in that spot. She's been very grizzly today and has a mild temp. Managed to get some panadol in. she just wants to be cuddled all day, barely interested in playing.
shell - not long now!!! How's she going with her day sleeps? When do you go to sleep school?
anna** - how's your supply going at the moment? Have you had to do any more formula top-ups?
caddie - how'd the photographers go? Is Ruby a natural behind the camera?

Well Nina is becoming very mobile, she's forever on her belly now and puts her arms in crawling position but her legs just aren't doing the job for her at the moment and gets really cranky. She really wants to up and moving around. She spins herself around when on her tummy. She sleeps on her tummy too now. She's also dropped another sleep during the day, her big one in the afternoon. Instead of having 2 big sleeps (1 x 2 hr & 1 x 3 hr) she's having 1 x 2 hr in the morning and 1 x 1 hr in the afternoon. I liked it better when she'd have her 3 hour sleep in the afternoon cause I'd sleep too. Oh well, I'm sure next week she'll change again.
I've posted a thread in the baby discussion section about dropping the comfort feeds at night, anyone done this successfully?
ETA: Nessa, is that one or two toothy pegs? She's so chubby and adorbale!!
It just goes to show how different babies look with different body types. Nina is 8.2kg but she doesn't look chubby at all. Some people even say how tiny she is. And she's fairly long too, 69cm.:
