thanks anna and nessa for your wishes. i was reading a sleep chapter in a book last night after i had my mini meltdown, and she has all the classic waking characteristics due to teething, so will just perservere. i have started the brauers again, but might get some hylands. looking forward to seeing you sat anna, think i can survive till then. I feel like such a whinger when you go thru this every night, but just so hard when sam is away and there feels like no support. just needed a sook, so thanks girls. oh yeah, and she only woke once more and it's now 8am. i am going to def have a sleep when se does today to make sure i can cope better when she is grumpy grumpster tonight :)
as for the pasta vix, my neigbour who is italian gave me some of the stelline and it's great, but yesterday i cooked some of the kids pasta in a blue bag for ains as finger food and she was fine with it. made sure it was nice and soft, it's a teddy bear shape about the size of a 10c piece. we've being doing pasta for about a week now. we made a cheesey tuna pasta and ainsleigh LOVED it! i'll flick you the recipe if you like. (was her first time on tuna too)
annat - hope the symptoms subside for the rest of the cycle like anna said they did for her.

I finished taking the clomid on CD10 soooooo over 10 days ago Anna. I still feel sick in the stomach, get headaches, just feel cruddy in general. Atleast the cramps have stopped but now I have bad gas :redface: I had really bad cramps to the point where my sister wanted to take me to hospital on Thurs and Friday of last week, I could hardly stand. Did you ever have that?
Vix - Jett's been having homemade spaghetti bolognaise for a month or so now and he LOVES it. I didnt give him any the last time we had it because it was close to bedtime and I wouldnt have time to scrub him clean (the sauce stains lol) and he stood at the table and gave us the evil eye til we gave him a taste. I usually give him more pasta than sauce, I use Vermicelli and just cut it up with a knife into smalls strips so he wont choke or anything.

boy oh boy was yesterday a hard day for me. I forgot what it's like to have a sooky baby, I've been spoilt for the last couple of months with her. She eventually went to bed at 9.15, woke once at midnight for a quick drink, then slept till 7. But I only managed to have one toasted sandwich yesterday, she was just too cranky for me to do anything else. She's a lot happier this morning, but I can hear her whinging in bed ATM. She's had a play, she's fed, she's got a clean nappy, so she can stay there !!!! She's not screaming the house down, just a little whinge, she'll be right mate!
Heath didn't get home till 9.45 and I was in bed by then. I think I cried myself to sleep, cause last night I was starting to get really angry with her. I didn't do anything to her, but I could feel myself getting to boiling point. So I put her to bed so I could go and have a shower, and would you know it she went straight to sleep! The little bugger.
ambz - oh that's so cute. Nina says baaaa and gggrrrrr a lot, but that's about it. I've told her that she has to say mum for either Mothers Day or for my b'day this month.
nessa - sorry sweetie, don't want that 3 yr old you're giving away, maybe check out ebay;)
anna** - 5 times is better than 10 !! Hopefully things start improving soon. I think it's Nina's gums causing her grief more than the ears, well I hope anyway.

Jodi- I've felt like that at times, it can get so frustrating and you end up in tears. Theres been a few occasions I've just had to leave her cry and I go have a shower (so I can't hear her) then feel ready to start again.
AnnaT- Maybe call your Dr and ask if all those things are normal side effects to have?
Rikki- Hopefully you get some rest today, Hugs to you having to do it on your own, its so hard when they get like that but even harder if you don't have someone coming home to take over for a while. Oh and happy 8 months.

Anna**- Oh god, I didn't know Xander was waking so often you poor thing. I hope he settles real soon. Are you getting some rest in the day?

God screamer is screaming again, always for her first nap of the day there is a massive battle to get her to sleep then the other nap goes down without a peep. I don't get it!

ok I don't know what is going on here. Nina ALWAYS has a roughly 2 hour sleep mid morning. She went to sleep not long after me posting my last post, and she's awake already! She's happily playing in her cot, singing to herself. What is going on. She'd better not be starting to drop that sleep cause it's the only me time I get all day. She has an afternoon nap, but just that, a nap. NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! go back to sleep :cry:

well he slept thru till 4am then woke screaming :( I dont know what has started this, so today am dropping back to 1 solid feed of vegies only no fruit or cereal
looks like the extra formula hasn't hurt him, except OMG!! he is farting farting :lol: he ended up sleeping till 8:10am then cause it was fricken cold 16c we hopped into bed with his bottle and watched desperate housewives, and we both fell asleep again at 9.15am and slept till 10.30ish :lol: so lazy day for us
well best fly and have a shower and head to IGA for some bread and vegies, what a life

Oh god Jodi, I feel for you, having a cat npper myself I know all bout it. Theres barely enough time to make something to eat, shower etc.

Rach, Riv wakes up crying suddenly when his teeth are bothering him. Well I think it's his teeth - bonjela sends him back to sleep.
Anyway, I'm having a good ol giggle here, heard Riv's little chuckles to himself and happy noises, looked towards his room, and there was a cheeky little head poked around the corner of the doorway! :cryinglaugh: His new trick (which I discovered yesterday while I was chatting to Helen) is to work his way out of his room and into the foyer. He looks so small, and he moves so slow, but he just gets so happy. Funny kid.
ETA: Maz, oil yourself mate. Have you taken anything for your headache??

Nelle I know its not his teeth as he hasn't had any probs with them so far and he has 6 already
I do think it is just too much for little belly to cope so am dropping back to one meal a day for a few days to give him a rest then will slowly introduce it back to 3 even though he is only having 2-3 TBL at a time
well best get something to eat we been to shop and he is down for a nap so got maybe 30min till he wakes again, god I can't beleive it is 1pm already *shakehead* where did today go :lol:

Hi girls :hello:, I have a whole thread and a half to catchup on.
Honestly girls I have had one of the most roughest 2 weeks so I have been laying low. It seems I get a little better then Jeffrey has a rough time at work and then I get depressed and we go downhill. I am trying to be positive now, one day at a time... I really thank you girls for your support. I will try my best to come on daily from now on as you girls brighten up my day by me reading. So please dont forget me or Julia!!!
Update on Julia. Shes now sitting up and likes to do 360 degree twirls and likes to crawl a few steps not huge ones only on the mat, and she has 1 tooth now too! shes getting there!!! She loves to see out of the car now the carseat is facing the front now which is great. We went to Dee Why beach and we took some photos so will update them on my website for you girls to see.
Chrissy/Kell, lets met up again soon - maybe at castle hill this time????

i did get out, thanks to the girls who suggested it and do feel a lot better. also have new focus, and am now getting off the puter and on to the treadmill!

been talkign to a few people and it may be how much food jack is eating, he is still taking same if not a lot more formula a day plus 3 solids, a cereal for breakie, vegies for lunch and fruit stuff for dinner, so am cutting back to 1 meal a day for a few to see how he goes, but then could also be the fruit thing I fed him last few evenings, it was apple/blueberry burst, (only organics brand) my sister said she never gave her boys any berry stuff till 10 mths or older so am wondering if it was a bit too much for him :dunno: shall see how he goes tonight

rach - yeah it could be all too much for his little tummy to manage. I know if Nina has had heaps of milk plus heaps of solids than we have a shocking night with her.

Well Nina decided to swap her sleeps today, half hour in the morning and 2 hours this afternoon. At least she's had both sleeps. She should (touch wood) sleep good tonight.

Rach - could he have been a big windy? Vy was last night and farted all morning.
She' poohed 6 times today and they have been disgusting. her second one for the day smelt like the organis chicken and garlic sang she devoured last night.
Went to the MCHN and Vy now weighs 8.4kg and is 71cm tall. She stood all by herself today for the first time and her bum is the colour of mars.
Have put up a pic of Vy in her gorgous t-shirt from aunt Kara and Ainsleigh.I love it. thanks guys.

Annie - we'll be in Sydney, probably staying in the city, from July 4th/5th to the 8th (driving home that day). Jetts baptism is on the 7th (sat). Would be cool if we could all meetup somewhere convenient for most of us. Inlaws will be with us so we'll be sightseeing a bit. Im sure I can make a meetup though. It takes 5 and a bit hours to drive up soooo not sure if I want to spend my birthday (july 4th) doing it, but the drive up and back takes a whole day up which sucks :(

Rach.. maybe he had a nightmare? Jesse does that every now and then too. Looks like he's caught the Maz potion! Yeh it maybe that berry stuff. I havent given Jesse any berry stuff yet. Perhaps you could just cut that one out and see if he goes back to normal? Or even just give less of each meal so then at least hes getting use to the food but its not overloading his tummy?

Saw my friend today .. had a lovely day. ***WAY TMI WARNING!!*** On the way home Jesse starts grunting (like he's doing a poo) He hasnt done that in months when doing a poo. So ok he maybe constipated. Get home go to change his bum and nothing. Then he pushes out a huge solid poo. Ok so i wait with the nappy covering him. Have another look and he looks like hes still going.. then i hear this squirt and look in there and he flooded his nappy with diorhea. (hes never had it in his life!). So changed him and he was all sweaty. He kinda seems ok since but am just keeping an eye on him. Am wondering if its teething.. but everything seems like teething lately and we are yet to see any more teeth!

Kell - Jett had runny diahhrea weeks before any teeth showed so it could well be teething. He's only just started doing more solids poo's but we still get the occasional explosion.

kel - that's a mega post!! and eeeeewwwwwww with Jesse's nappy. The poor fella ended up in a sweat over it all! It must have taken some effort pushing it all out. Hopefully it is just teething

Kell, when babies some times are constipated and they pass a hard nugget type pooh, the next pooh they have can be really runny.. so hopefully it was just that!
