Just a quickie - to say "welcome home Rikki & Ainsleigh" - I can imagine the last few days have been pretty harrowing - here's wishing Ainsleigh a speedy recovery and that she is back to her gorgeous self in no time and that Mama also gets in some rest (well as much as you can with a bub).
Yay - DH is back home now after being away for the week...
Nothing else to report really, Rylee is in bed - yippee so I am just mucking around on the internet.

So you girls stay up late chatting? I had a bad night sleep, alot tossing and turning, might have to do with how much I ate last night, god I was piggy.
Now who else is preggy in here then? Annie said she had an announcement in that other post awhile back and now Helen has a secret! Let me know the goss girls!!!
Now Saturdays are meant to be my sleep in day, yes I get to lie in bed but no sleep cause every week I get 101 questions, "what do I dress her in" "do I change her nappy" "what do I give her for breakfast" I tell you I need to write a in depth list and leave things out cause I also get "where is this or that" and then he'll have a boys look! No wonder I still feel tired after supposedly sleeping in. Now I worry what is going to happen when I'm at work! Better write a booklet for him!

Jess woke at 6am here.. and i said nah-ah i aint gettin up!! But i did just to give him dummy and went back to bed. I heard him playing with his fishy thing and then next i knew it was quiet and i woke up at 8.30am! Woo!
Jess had his first Weetbix this morning and loved it!!! I love the expressions of something new. Its like he tastes it then thinks hmm this is different, then looks at me like, mmm that wasnt bad mum!

FIL is coming around later on. He had his scan yesterday and from the sms MIL send DH, it wasnt good. So will see when he comes over :(

I better get dressed, stil in jammies! I just got Ash down, she was quite upset this morn, she usually doesn't scream at sleep time unless something is up, I never know if its teeth or tummy pain.
Last night we spent the night in Olinda in the dandenongs, and it poured!!! I never thought I would say this bing I am praying that it doesn't rain today, as our house is up for Auction today. My DH has a new job, based in Gisborne, about 1 hour north of Melbourne, so we are on the move!
James still unwell. Got a small temp still, but nothing like he was a couple of nights ago. He really scared me!!
Anyway, James has his 2 front bottom teeth, and they are coming through really crooked. Does anyone know if that is normal? Will they straighten up??

meg - sorry can't help you with the crooked teeth. Nina doesn't let us look at hers very often, so I don't know if that's how the come up, or not. Hope he gets better soon, and the temp goes down.
Well the juice we gave nina certainly works, she did a little poo this morning, I just put her to bed about half an hour ago, she woke up screaming, I went in and it reeked!! eeewwwww, it was massive. Cleaned her up and she's sleeping again. The dr suggested giving her some of this on a daily basis, is that what you girls do?
Ness- Lol, at least you can keep eye on the tennants!
Jodi- I give Ash pear juice just every few days when I feel she needs it, a mum in my mums group gives her son prune juice every day cause he needs it, just assess and see how often you think.
Meg- Ooh I love Olinda, we stayed in a B&B there last year just before Ash was born and I keep telling Mat when we retire we gonna move there, at the moment you live near there? Good luck selling today, if its like all the auctions I've been to lately you should get good price!
My wisdom tooth is playing up again, gum is all swollen, might have to test out the bonjella again, last time it didn't do much.
Meg - Yep, many bubs teeth come in crooked and it's normal and no indication of how the adult teeth will sit.
Maz - Bugger about the cat only eating KittyKat. My two love that stuff as well, but they are gonna be eating Friskies for a while now!
Jodi - I stewed up about half a bag of dried prunes. I froze both the cooking water and the (puree when done cooking) prunes. I add either a cube of the 'juice' to his sippy cup or a cube of the puree to his cereal every couple of days. No probs since.

the maternal help line told me this and it works a treat!!!!!

Thanks for the tips re: constipation. Well Nina's done 3 poo's today, which is great. I'm going to continue giving her prune juice every couple of days and hope that helps in the long term.
Jodi.. my sister always said when her kids were constipated she'd just give them some apricots and they were fixed.. you can get them in the Heinz jars also or do what anna did and mix em into her breaky.
Anna**.. i forgot to mension, thats great youve put on some weight.. hope thats due to an added little person! Thank you for the thoughts re FIL.. im trying not to think about it too much as yet as im just getting angry and frustraited at i dont know what. I still hope and pray theyre wrong.

Hey all, I've had a busy day today, Tyler 3rd Birthday so it's been fun. I've gotta get everything organized for his birthday party tomorrow morning. We're having it at a park so the house doesn't get trashed, lol.
I had the best kind of dinner tonight, one i didn't cook we went to a friends house:D
Paige has been throwing up lately I don't know if this is normal she had reflux but is over it now but just the last couple days after every 3rd or 4th bottle she will spew. Got me a beuty tonight.
I hope everyone is doing fine and all the bubs are good.

Kell - Re the apricots, I just buy the 'pie fruit' ones. They are 100% with no added anything. You can puree/mash/chop to suit your needs. So much cheaper than baby ones! (You can also buy "pie" Apple or Peaches too). Thanks for the congrats re the weight gain, aint no bubba baking tho!
Ells - Xander is reflux bubba too so I totally know what it is like to smell like spew. Wasn't so bad when it was just milk (tho that was ick enough) but now we get technicolour! yummo. :lol: Hopefully they grow out of it soon! Happy 3rd Birthday Tyler!

Belle - Sorry I didn't get to call you back, we got back late from the vet and my cat is still pretty out of it from the surgery so just been keeping an eye on him. Will call you tomorrow.
We had such an awful night last night. Nina went to bed at her normal time, 6pm, slept till midnight, then that's when the fun began!
Since last week, she's been really unsettled, especially at night. We always have the cd on for her at night while she's sleeping, the cd started playing up and would stop and start throughout the night. And last night, it stopped at midnight and I couldn't get it back on. Nina ended up waking up and I couldn't get her back to sleep, no matter what I tried. She was really tired, but it was like she couldn't sleep without the music. She eventually passed out (and yes, she literally passed out) in bed with me at 5am. She woke briefly at 7am, but is back in bed now.
Yesterday I bought a new cd player as I thought that was the problem, but it turns out it's the cd, so I'll have to get a new one this morning. Mum said this morning I should have just put on any soft music for her, but I was so tired, I didn't even think of that! :rolleyes:
kel/anna - I didn't think of apricots, she loves them, so should give her more of them.

well Jack went down at 11pm *yawn* he only had 2 1/2 naps during the day passed out at 6.25pm and slept till 8pm *sigh* he was happy but just wanted me, Jase got home around 9pm and he had a bit of a play but still Jack wanted me, so in the end I took him to bed with me, gave him a bottle at 10.40pm (BTW he had one when he woke at 8pm) and put him in cot at 11pm and he was out to within 10min, then jase came to bed he got called into work at 3.30am and is still gone, but on a good note jack is still asleep, now why am I not :rolleyes:
thinking of crawling back in till Jack wakes but I know my luck I will go back and he will wake up as soon as I am comfy

Anna**- Thats for that idea with the pie fruits, I usually stew my own pears but buy apples in jar so that'll work out alot cheaper for me. Lately you have been my ideas queen.
Ellie- Happy birthday to Tyler, great idea bout having it at the park, hope its nice weather, my sister does that every year, luckily my nephew's birthday is in summer so we've always had good weather.
