James is the same. He is not interested in TV, but loves Elmos world. It is my quick chance to jump in the shower, while he is in his high chair, as I know he will be amused for 10 mins. James has now been "playing' in his cot for an hour. He has been up since 6am, and it doesn't look like he is going to go to sleep any time soon *sigh* I can never relax properly hearing him mucking around.
Went to sleep, but awake again already. Only stayed down for about 20 mins!!!
We have TV on at certain times of the day but Ash doesn't really watch cause its usually all the shows I like that I put it on for.
Meg- Ash mucked around in her cot for 40mins this morn but luckily went off to sleep with just a little grizzle. I know what you mean it is hard to relax til you know they are asleep.
Jodi- Like Helen said you prolly got low BP, mine was quite low throughout my pregnancy, just keep up fluids and try to get up slowly from lying or sitting.
Nessa- pmsl at what Teleah says, I love the things that come out of kids mouths.
Caddie- Those early mornings sound like a killer, I think I'd be in bed by 5 at night if I was getting up that early. Enjoy the morning tea.
Kell- I think you passed on that bizarre dream curse to me! I was dreaming I was on a plane with my sister and nephew and it was gonna crash yet it went thru buildings somehow! When does Fil go for his tests to find if he suits the new treatment?
chrissy- Ahh I hate teeth grinding, I hope Ash doesn't start doing it, well at moment she only has her bottom teeth so can't do it yet.
Rach75- How'd it go getting Jack up earlier today?
Ash only had one feed last night, she woke at 1 but was just grizzly so I didn't go in then she didn't wake for a feed til 3:30. Yay, she been quite good this week so things are looking good, I suppose after 8 months I deserve to get some decent night sleep!
he went down at 11.45pm *sigh* he was still awake at 11.50pm then not a peep we woke him at 8.30am he was happy has had a 30min nap since and in about 5min will give him a bottle and see if he goes down for a big nap  I am tired!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeh I bought Jesse an Elmo's World DVD when they were on sale as he loves his Elmo and oh its so funny watching him watch it. He waves his arms up and down and gets all excited and squeels. Now its on ABC at 8.30am every morning so ive been taping them and every time Elmo's on or looks at you he does the jumping up and down(while sitting) waving his arms and squeeling thing.. just loves it. We love just watching him get so excited.
As for the watching the tv.. i guess its just personal choice.. doesnt bother me. He only ever watches the ads then tunes out when anything else comes on... and of course Elmo. If he was 4 or 5 and sitting in front of the box while he could be outside playing then yeh i wouldnt like that as much, but i dont think myself its gonna effect him too much as yet.
Caddie.. yeh i think that sorta thing is so important. I tell Jesse i love him every night when i put him to bed, even though he doesnt understand, still i like to tell him. Yesterday arvo i asked DH if he heard anything about his dad's appointment, he said nah mum will tell us if its bad or whatever and i said thats why i always ask him how he's doing so he knows we're thinking of him and are concerned about him.. i didnt have to tell DH to call him, i think he thought about what i said so he picked up the phone and called and talked to his dad and told him how we were always thinking of him and praying for him, which i thought was really nice, being DH isnt the type to be upfront with saying that sorta thing.Just trying to stay as positive as possible. DH said last night he has a really good feeling about it all, that everythings going to be ok.. i just hope he's preparing for the other too. But again thank you for your concerns.
Ness.. thanks hun.. hehe how cute.
Shell.. haha how bizarre! Keep me tuned if you have any more! Not to sure when FIL goes for his tests, id imagine sometime this week so they can start treatment asap. Oh thats great Ash is getting better all the time with her sleeping! I remember back when she was up all night! But thats great.
Gonna go get something to eat.. am starving.. OH and have a DR PEPPER! WOOO!
helen/shell - yeah it's my bp low again. I've always had low bp, but when pg last time it got even lower, I fainted a few times, and this morning felt like I was going to. Nina's down for her second nap so I'm going to have one too.
Reading everyone's posts about late nights/early morning...... and I thought it was difficult as James barely sleeps during that day. Hopefully all the late nights/early mornings will improve soon.
James has been up since 11:20 am. In the cot "singing" again. Doesn't look like he will have a snooze. Here's hoping though, as I need to do some housework.
