Hi girls, well I've got some good news regarding my miscarriage (if that's at all possible!). Got some more results from my bt, and it shows that I'm out of date with my rubella vaccination, which can therefore result in miscarriage. I've read up about it, and understand it. It's not a definite answer to why I miscarried, but it's something. It's made me feel a whole lot better about it all, that's for sure.

anna** - wasn't me honey, but I'm always thinking of you. How is Xander the last couple of days?

nessa - good luck with the results

shell - hope you're feeling better soon. Is hubby going to stay home tomorrow as well?

hhhmmm, have you done a pg test? It sounds like pg symptoms, but with constant bleeding like that, then I'm not sure. I hope you get it figured out though.

I'd test Chrissy, and if negative, head to the dr's to see if they can figure you out. Head to the dr.'s anyway actually, just to check that the spotting's not a prob.
Hope your back feels better, sore backs suck.

    Hi all,

Finished my uni assignment and just emailed it off to my lecturer, I am doing a Bachelor of Commerce, have two more units to go, yay, have been doing this part time since 2000 so can't wait for it to be over.

Shellbell - I am sympathising with you for being so sick, you poor thing, it takes enough energy to run around after these little ones without being sick as well.

Jodi - I am glad you have some answers and it helps you understand why these things happen, hugs.

Nessa - way to go on Annika's teeth - Rylee hasn't even got any through yet, bit of a slow starter. Good luck with the results of your CT scan.

Chrissy - I would do a test to put your mind at ease...and be on the safe side.

Anyway, Rylee's sleeping is still up sh*t creek she won't sleep in her cot at night so is in bed with us - which is my own fault as I started putting her in there in the first place when we were travelling around so much and often didn't have a cot to put her in......there isn't much else to say on it - it will be a slow process getting her back in her cot.
Sorry I sound grumpy - I'm not really.....
    Better go,

    Laurinxxxx

Laurin have you tried sitting beside her cot? Thats what i did with my first child. It took a while but it worked.Millana has always been funny with bed times. At one stage at the end of my pregnancy with ruby i had reverted to sleeping on the floor to get her to settle in her bed and not ours.Ruby thankfully has a little cry and hugs her elmo and goes to nighty night night!
Well done on the commerce by the way!
Chrissy i would test too! Otherwise it could be a roge symptom of coming off the pill? But bloating with all your excercise does sound strange.
Good day for me today.Girls well behaved,i finished my best scrapbook page ever. Will upload soon. And thats about it really.Oh i cleaned my laundrey from drier dust!! yippee

Um... ok Ness You're a crack up woman.

Belle - Thanks for the phone call today, good thing I called you back in Myer before I bought that jumper for Xander (Belle bought him the same one I was looking at)

Mazzzzzzzz - How's that preggy bump going? I hope you are feeling a bit better than when I last chatted to ya. Big congrats on getting (most of) the money you were after - must be a huge weight off your shoulders.

Jodi - That's great if might have a bit of an answer for your m/c, do you mind me asking how letting your MMR vaccine lapse effects m/c rates? Is it because of exposure to the virus or something else? I'm immune to Rubella luckily. Hopefully after you have your jab you will be too - tho from memory ttc must be put on hold for 3 months? You ok with that?

Caddie - Have you uploaded your latest scrap page? I love seeing your work - it just keeps getting better!

Laurin - Like Caddie, I've spent many nights sleeping on the floor next to the cot. Not very comfy, but has been worth it for us. Best of luck getting that all sorted!

Chrissy - Sounds like you should head to your Dr for some answers as to what is going on, be awesome if you were pg tho!

AnnaT - Great news that the m/s has settled a little with the meds! Hope it goes completely soon.

Ambz - Like some of the other girls said, unless you are high risk or using a private OB, you will have to wait till 12 weeks. Tho, that been said, if you are really keen to get a referral use the excuse of "I can't remember my last period" and they'll do a dating scan.

Shell - Did that toothy peg of Ash's come through... how many has she got now? Xander has 5 with another on the way (sorry MAZ! ) and each one means a pretty rough night for us. Hope you get better soon.

Rikki - If you are lurking, hope things are a bit easier for you now that Sam is home. Really sounded like you needed a break.

Big hellos to everyone else.. hope you are all doing well. We've actually had quite a few great days with Xander recently. Ok, so I accept I've got a natural born tanty chucker - but that aside; we are having fantastic success with sticking to a routine with him and wait for it..... he is only waking 2-3 times a night now *happy dance* total bliss. I feel so revived after having some decent sleep. Let's hope I haven't jinxed myself by posting this!

    Neesa you make me laugh.

Caddie-Glad to hear that you had a great day. I tried to catch you on msn the other day but missed you. Have been thinking of you.

Anna-Yah for the better sleeping, hope he keeps it up.

Laurin-Well done on getting your assignment in. I had sleep issues with Bella, so I hope that you can manage to stick with the cot thing as I know how much hard work it can be.

Jodi-Glad to hear that your mind has been eased a bit. I hope that you are starting to feel a bit better physically. How is Nina lately?

Chrissy_mmmm I agree with the others, maybe a trip to the dr's is in order. Goodluck.

Nelle-Thanks for the chat last night, even if it was time delayed LOL. I hope that the email came through.

Well I have put on a load of nappies late as I forgot and they have to be done tonight to try and do some drying over night, so even though I want to be in bed I cant as I have to wait for it to finish.

Poor Eithan is still miserable with his cold and still no teeth. Bella is still unwell. But joy of joys, my kitchen is actually tidy. Big thing for me as it gets tidied, but still bits and pieces laying around, but nope all tidy. Next stop lounge.

Hi to all those I have missed.

    Love

    hi girls,
well, sam is home and i am feeling like a new woman. i have worked doing relief teaching the last two days and sam was a SAHD... i think the break from Ains was just what i needed. don't get me wrong, i love her to death, but when you are with her 24 hours a day it gets really tiring. thanks so much to everyone who was thinking of me.

as for the sleep, last night back to normal but we did leave her to cry and she went back to sleep... the day before however, i get home from work to a grumpy girl, who had only had a 15 min nap all afternoon!!!! she ended up falling asleep in her high chair she was so tired, woke her for her bottle then she slept from 6,30am - 8.30am without a peep. only thing was meant i only saw her for two hours in 24 as she was still asleep when i left for work.

we're off to the paed this morning for another followup on her asthma... she's really doing well now she's on the ventolin and flixotide.

sorry this post is all about me... just wanted to let you all know how i'm going.

hope that your pg's are going well anna, maz and ambz. good luck with hospital waiting lists and test results nessa. glad you had the heart to heart with your hubby jodi. hope the doc can give you some answers chrissy.hope you're feeling a lot better shell... ihad tonsillitis/was on antibiotics for six months straight before they removed mine when i was about the same age as you. all i can say is VERY painful!

hello to everyone else. will try to jump on an dlet you know how paed appt went, if not will come back all refreshed when sam goes back to work. thanks again for thinking of me xxx

yeah, we're still going to hold off ttc for a few months yet. Not really sure now when we'll start again. I'll ask my dr to explain it again today, but I remember when I fell pg with Nina it came up in my bt results and they warned me about miscarriage, or that she could have birth defects. But I completely forgot about it, and changed dr's after Nina was born If you're home today, I'll give you a call, need to vent about stuff anyway
I gotta run, got things to do.
chrissy - good luck for when you go to the dr
laurin - congrats on finishing !!!!!!!!!!
rikki - I know exactly how you feel. When I leave Nina on the days I work, it feels soooo good to get a break, but I love her to death. I hope things start improving for you soon, sounds like they are.

Another bad night, I'm not sure if its teeth or what cause during the day she is fine but at night, same time too, the trouble starts, she wakes at 2am, I make sure shes not cold cause I know its been chilly last couple nights, I give her a cuddle she gets all settled, I put her down, shes happy, rolls over I cover her and we start going to sleep, then just as I'm about to drift off she starts again! This process goes on til just after 3:30. So I am tired, bit hard to recover when you lack sleep.

Rikki- Its great to hear things are looking up and Ainsleigh and yourself are doing alot better. I know what you mean bout needing that break, in one way I am looking forward to going back to work just for that break and have adult conversation.

HelenP- How are your kidlets today? One sick child is bad enuff. Are they feeling any better?

Anna**- Ash has 3 at the moment with the 4th coming (I think). The bottom 2 we had small trouble with, the top big trouble. Its great things are going well with Xander, things here going pretty good usually too, I found since she started taking good solid meals she started being in a predictable routine and generally wakes twice a night now. I think Ash is a bit of a tanty chucker too, I can see they'll just be very determined children.

Nessa- Please, anything but that song.

Well Df is home again today, yay, he has day off to do marking or something, his parents are coming over, everything is all good with them now. I think I forgot to mention it but they all made up, after we didn't get the house last week, his mum went and said sorry you missed the house. Df told her he was more upset bout them fighting all the time than getting a house and they hugged and made up, so all good, this time I think its gonna stay good. Life is too short for all that crap, esp with Fil cancer which we are happy to say has gotten better, the chemo so far has done really well, they can't see an obvious tumor anymore but they think there still some cells in the tummy, though where it had spread to outside the stomach that is all gone, yay.

shell - that's great news about fil. Hopefully it's all good from now. Nina has been the same as Ash, fine during the day, but at night the teeth are playing up. I'm pretty sure it's the teeth, as there are 4 that are just sitting there, taking their time to come down. What have you tried giving her at night to settler her? We've started using Nurofen, which a gf recommened, and it's the best! We were using Panadol but it wasn't doing the job for the whole night. Whereas Nurofen lasts longer. We only give it to her at 6pm, when she goes to bed, and nothing more, and she'll now sleep the whole night. Last week she kept waking at 2am as well, and wouldn't settle till 3.30/4am, when she would go to sleep with sheer exhaustion!!!

vy - you naughty girl!! Behave for your mother, or there'll be smacks involved

Jodi- We were giving panadol but as you said it does nothing, I bought some nurofen yesterday but then was bit scared to give it last night cause I thought what if she reacts I won't know, maybe tonight I'll give it an hour before she goes to bed that way I can see how she goes with it.

Maz- Oh that high pitched squealing does my head in, yes, lets run to las vegas! Hmm maybe we could become show girls or something.

shell - I too was hesitant. I spoke with the pharmacist before getting it, and she recommended it over Panadol. She said it's a personal preference, some prefer Panadol, some prefer Nurofen. She said that Nurofen does last longer than Panadol, as it's a different and stronger medication. Nina only gets it once a day, before bed, and I'll only do that while she's got those teeth sitting there causing her grief.

Can I come to Las Vegas too???????? And can we leave the babies behind with their daddies
