shell - the only ways I know to clean to rid of germs is either soaking in bleach (rinsing afterwards obviously) or Milton. Hopefully Ash doesn't get it.
nessa - I'm the same, have no idea about toddlers, but what you did sounds good. Just keep following through with things and hopefully she'll learn from it. Maybe google it on the net and see what different advice you get??
helen - that's great that it's just a cold with your two. I hate waiting at dr surgery's, drives me crazy!!
meg - that's exactly right, a lot of people don't understand what anxiety or depression is, and they do think you should just 'snap out of it'. I've known people, some very close to me, to have anxiety and/or depression, so know a little about it. I do hope the medication continues to work and you start feeling better soon.

Nessa-I think you did the right thing, she is only young and quickly learnt what the right thing to do is. Take it as it comes, sounds like everything is going well.
Shell-Ummm maybe use a steam cleaner for them. I did with some of Bella's toys when she was little. That sounds awful, hoping that Ash doesnt get it.
Well I am having a silent tantrum at the moment. But I better go, just saying I was having a tantrum has snapped me out of it, well kinda anyway. Let's just say Leith doesnt have to say or do much and I am super crabby at the moment.

Hi guys, hope you are all doing well. I am so tired this morning Eithan got worse overnight, so I have made an appointment for tomorrow, so that I can definantly get him in if he is not any better.
Nelle-I told you during our chat the other week that there was someone pregnant that hadnt come forward yet. I guess it was Ambz, hehehe you suggested it was you ovulating. Well my body is still all over the place, but not giving preg symptoms any more.

I'm another sicky here. Think I've got tonsillitis, sore throat, had temp 39 last night, am just aching all over, keep taking panadol, can't get into Dr til 2:15. I feel so crappy. I've hardly slept cause I was just shivering or sweating all night.
Df p!ssed me off, I asked him to stay home look after Ash cause I am struggling and he refused, he reakons he is unwell too, yeah right he slept soundly all night and I should know seeing as I was awake most of the night!

Hi helen! I agree.MEN! i didnt say but i really flipped the lid the other night and was almost viloent towards my husband.I was so tired i was almost physically sick and i just wasnt getting heard.I seriously contemplated going to the drs and get myself seen too.I just couldnt believe i was capable of such anger.It is true that if my hubby behaved towards me like i did to him well lets just say i couldve packed my bags.I was ashamed of myself and worried about losing it on the kids.Ive never done it previous before i had kids and i know it was extreme tiredness and looking after kids gastro.I have no help at all except for hubby when he can and no family.I cant wait till they come for a holiday. So just a little subdued at the mo.

Caddie - oh honey, your aloude to get angry and its good that you noticed it. Try and take some time for you matie. As for the bump....NO WAY!!!!!!! not yet anyway...mine looks like the flinders ranges (lots of bumps were there shouldnt be any) not nice and petite like AnnaT's.
Meg - I hadnt answered your post before about having depression..you gave me something to think about. Thank you for giving a positive out look to an awkward and soul hurting illness. I know alot of the girls in here also suffer from PND and its been great to try and support them. We're here for ya mate.

Ta Cads, its not too bad lol Still a tad bit flabby but hopefully in a few weeks when I hit 2nd trimester it will solidify a bit. Not a bad tum for 7wks pregnant. My friend was definately showing by 9wks with her 2nd so its definately doable.

Nina has a really off day today, had a temp of 38.5 for most of the day. Took her to the dr's, she's all good but it's those damn teeth of hers. The 4 up the top are soooooooo close to coming through, just starting to break the skin. Hopefully it'll be any day now, they've been sitting there for a few weeks now.
I'm going good, had a heart to heart with Heath last night which we both needed. Bleeding has stopped and cramps aren't too bad.
annat - I can't believe the size of your belly already!! How's the m/s treating you? And you maz, how's your m/s? ambz, how are you feeling? Any m/s yet?

Jodi - My morning sickness is alot less than what it was. No dry retching, I can eat breaky, lunch and dinner without wanting to hug the toilet. Thankgod for Maxolon and vitamin b6 tablets!
I have the strongest feeling this baby is a girl. I was looking at baby clothes on Ebay and just headed straight for the girls clothes without thinking. I hope my intuition is right just like it was with Jett.

I have finally managed to add a photo to my ticker. I worked out that the problem was that our camera had too many megapixels. So I have added a photo that my sister sent me from her camera. The photo is from her engagement party. It is not the most recent (I think he was 5.5 months) but he was having such a blast playing with the wrapping paper!

Luckily Df came home at lunchtime yesterday to help me out, I do have tonsilitis, I think its the worst I've ever had it, my temp didn't go down til middle last night so all day yesterday I felt soooo crappy, then Ash decides last night to start pushing another tooth thru so she was up screaming, Df had to sort her out cause I was in the loo chucking. Thank god I feel better this morning just really lethargic, Df has stayed home again thank god.
Maz- pmsl at the corn kernal.
Nessa- Good luck with the ct scan, it depends how big a prob it is on how long you have to wait, I think there is 3 catergories, well I don't know if its the same for every state though.
Laurin- How are things going with Rylee? Did we ever find out what you are studying?
Jodi- Good to hear you are feeling better, its great you and Heath got to sit down and talk that way each of you knows exactly how the other is feeling and coping.
Caddie- You poor thing, you must've been feeling so bad to flip like that, hopefully your Dh realises that you are not wonder woman. Try not to feel too down on yourself I bet almost everyone has had moments in there life when they've lost it.

only had slight nausea at the start but nothing more so hopefully it will be the same here
im only dreading when i cant stand meat and chicken anymore. arghhh poor hubby will have to eat take away alot more if thats the case hahah
i cant wait to get my blood test results back on monday to see exactly how far along i am.
i have a feeling this little one is going to be a boy!.... hmmm we shall see :)
tuesday night savanna had a really restless sleep waking up at 3am screaming cause of her tooth that has cut
poor bubba. last night she slept like an angel and woke up this morning bout 9ish and just played by herself in her cot till i got up..if only it was like that everyday hahah
i hope those who are not well or are going through a rough patch feel better soon :pray:

Ambz, I think cos they've had trouble with previous pregnancies, that's why they have the early scan, cos the dr. wants to check that things are okay.

Im with a private OBGYN Ambz so I get a quick scan every appointment starting from 6wks. I also have had 4 m/c so its for my peace of mind that a) its in the right place and b) it IS a successful pregnancy with a heartbeat. If you lie and say your not sure of your dates they may let you go for one at 6wks or so.
Ah I was looking forward to going snowboarding too, now I'll have to watch on the sidelines this year lol I manage to have my pregnancies through all the fun stuff *sigh* If there is a next time Im planning it better lol

I got an early u/s cause I hadnt had AF since my m/c in March and I had my tubes reversed too so the doc wants ot make sure I dont have a tubual pg which i have a high risk of having.

Hi girls, well I've got some good news regarding my miscarriage (if that's at all possible!). Got some more results from my bt, and it shows that I'm out of date with my rubella vaccination, which can therefore result in miscarriage. I've read up about it, and understand it. It's not a definite answer to why I miscarried, but it's something. It's made me feel a whole lot better about it all, that's for sure.
anna** - wasn't me honey, but I'm always thinking of you. How is Xander the last couple of days?

opinions please...........ok here goes.......contraception ran out about 3 weeks ago i actually stopped bleeding/ spotting for around 5 days, but now im back to spotting everyday
the first week after contraception ran out no protection was used, since we are using the withdraw method.
about 2 days before the contraception ran out i felt this pain on my side, i told craig i think im ovulationg..........but im not sure..........really weird as i was still spotting.
anyway 3 weeks later
very sore back
extremely hungry
get pi$$ed of real quick
and VERY bloated i look 3 months preggy in the belly ( and as you all know i have been dieting)

hhhmmm, have you done a pg test? It sounds like pg symptoms, but with constant bleeding like that, then I'm not sure. I hope you get it figured out though.

I'd test Chrissy, and if negative, head to the dr's to see if they can figure you out. Head to the dr.'s anyway actually, just to check that the spotting's not a prob.

Finished my uni assignment and just emailed it off to my lecturer, I am doing a Bachelor of Commerce, have two more units to go, yay, have been doing this part time since 2000 so can't wait for it to be over.
Shellbell - I am sympathising with you for being so sick, you poor thing, it takes enough energy to run around after these little ones without being sick as well.
Jodi - I am glad you have some answers and it helps you understand why these things happen, hugs.
Nessa - way to go on Annika's teeth - Rylee hasn't even got any through yet, bit of a slow starter. Good luck with the results of your CT scan. :)
Chrissy - I would do a test to put your mind at ease...and be on the safe side.
Anyway, Rylee's sleeping is still up sh*t creek she won't sleep in her cot at night so is in bed with us - which is my own fault as I started putting her in there in the first place when we were travelling around so much and often didn't have a cot to put her in......there isn't much else to say on it - it will be a slow process getting her back in her cot.
Sorry I sound grumpy - I'm not really.....

Laurin have you tried sitting beside her cot? Thats what i did with my first child.It took a while but it worked.Millana has always been funny with bed times.At one stage at the end of my pregnancy with ruby i had reverted to sleeping on the floor to get her to settle in her bed and not ours.Ruby thankfully has a little cry and hugs her elmo and goes to nighty night night!

Is it because of exposure to the virus or something else? I'm immune to Rubella luckily. Hopefully after you have your jab you will be too - tho from memory ttc must be put on hold for 3 months? You ok with that?
Caddie - Have you uploaded your latest scrap page? I love seeing your work - it just keeps getting better!
Laurin - Like Caddie, I've spent many nights sleeping on the floor next to the cot. Not very comfy, but has been worth it for us. Best of luck getting that all sorted!

AnnaT - Great news that the m/s has settled a little with the meds! Hope it goes completely soon.
Ambz - Like some of the other girls said, unless you are high risk or using a private OB, you will have to wait till 12 weeks. Tho, that been said, if you are really keen to get a referral use the excuse of "I can't remember my last period" and they'll do a dating scan.
Shell - Did that toothy peg of Ash's come through... how many has she got now? Xander has 5 with another on the way (sorry MAZ! :p) and each one means a pretty rough night for us. Hope you get better soon.
Rikki - If you are lurking, hope things are a bit easier for you now that Sam is home. Really sounded like you needed a break.

Well I have put on a load of nappies late as I forgot and they have to be done tonight to try and do some drying over night, so even though I want to be in bed I cant as I have to wait for it to finish.
Poor Eithan is still miserable with his cold and still no teeth. Bella is still unwell. But joy of joys, my kitchen is actually tidy. Big thing for me as it gets tidied, but still bits and pieces laying around, but nope all tidy. Next stop lounge.
