I wanna come to the meet up too!
Chrissy - It might be 'your' crow. You never know ;)
Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes girls, I've passed them all onto the birthday boy who has been well and truly smothered in kisses today.
We had a fantastic time at the zoo, I'm going upload some pictures soon. He was soooo tired at the end of the day, he zonked out before we made it back to the car.
I was just thinking... it was about this time last year I did my post "OUCHIE OUCHIE" before vanishing offline with my 'braxton hicks' !
-
anna I remember that 'ouchie ouchie' post!! It feels like yesterday. I was so jealous that you went first, when I was due before you!
I'm glad Xander was a good boy for you today.
Well our exoctic weekend away seemed too good to be true. My mum is having major abdominal surgery next week (she has 2 cysts which are quite large & need removing, and she's had too many ops in the past for it to be keyhole) and she needs 6 week recovery. She was going to be our babysitter, but now she can't. And no-one else is available!
ETA: and she misses Nina's b'day party next weekend.

Sat 21st Oct sounds great for Vic meet-up and yes this time has to be a definate!!! School holidays will be done by then they finish start Oct so hopefully most kids will have gone then and won't be too packed when we're there.
Jodi- Too bad bout that weekend away, your poor mum too having to have the surgery. You'll have to just postpone the trip for awhile. Speedy recovery vibes sent to your mum too.
Anna**- Lol, i remember you last year having ouchie ouchie and the next thing we know Xander was here! Does that mean the rest of his life he is going to be in a hurry for everything? Lol.
What is Vy in a magazine? I'm gonna have to go down newsagents tomor and check it out!
Meg- Good luck with the test tomor, god a huge week for you with the test then moving the next day!
I'm so looking forward to this vic meet, having picnic sounds great, food at the place way too expensive! Hopefully it'll be good weather. Do we have a back up plan in case its a bad bad day?
I just had to add that pic of you Anna in your ticker, you look so much like a friend of mine.
-
I am glad that the birthday boy had a good day!
Jodi - sorry that you are not gonna get your weekend away. You will have to postpone it till another time. I hope your mum is ok though
I will lock in 21st Oct once I have moved and unpacked my calendar. Will someone remind me again in a week or so?
Not much else to report here. packed MORE boxes. My headache has gone. I now only have 2 plates, 2 sets of cutlery, and a tiny bit of food left in the fridge.
Have my fine needle aspiration tomorrow, then another 2 weeks till the results.
Shell - we must have posted at the some time - thanks - I am sure the test will go fine. Not that keen on a needle in the neck though
-
Anna**- I was just having another look at your cakes, have you ever considered like running a small business doing that? that way you can make some money and work from home.
Oh and I just looked at my calender and realised the sat is the 20th Oct.
-
Awww... Shell... I AM a friend of yours! I'm always happy to do cakes for friends/family/whomever, but they aren't cheap to make and most people wont spend that sort of money on a cake very often. I barely make any money at all from them - and they are still expensive at half the price of other cake decorators. Oh, and Xander is always in a hurry for everything!!!
Nessa - No, I haven't recieved my KK pressie yet, but postage to Perth can take up to 6 days so the person who got me probably didn't realise that.
I've uploaded his pics at the zoo as well as some from his party too (oh, and the champagne bottle was empty for those that see that pic!)
-
yeah, it looks like it'll have to be postponed yet again. Oh well, at least she'll be getting better. I just hope she recovers quickly.
Off to have a look at the pics anna
-
I just checked out the photos. Xander looked like he had a great day.
-
aaaawwwwwww that looked like fun!! I reckon he looks just like his daddy. He's really eyeing off those bottles of champers isn't he! hehehe
You look great Anna!
-
annat - wow is all I can say about your bump. You look great though, just a big bump. What do you reckon, 9 pounder
-
Happy Birthday Xander!! I hope you had a wonderful Day with him and DH Anna, sorry I havent had a chance to come online to wish Happy Birthday until now. Catchup with you tomorrow.
-
how was your app today belle?
-
Thanks Ness... like I said, I wasnt' worried about the KK pressie, I know postage can be a bugger! Thanks for uploading the piccy of Vy.
Maz - Love that pic of Vy and her BB Bamboo nappy.
AnnaT - Your belly bump is so cute!
-
Anna, you're looking so good mate! Looks like you guys had a great time at the zoo too.
Our zoo trip should be so fun! So Sat October 20th huh? I'll lock it in. I'll bring Rans with me, cos I hate driving in the city. Backup plan for rain? A shopping centre somewhere? There's also the city, if you don't want to drive in the city, you could always park a little out and catch a train. River quite likes the train.
Jodi, still book your weekend mate, you'll still have a great time whenever you go away. Can you think of something that happened 6 weeks or 2 months after you got married? You could go away for your 'first massive fight' anniversary, or 'bought new couches' anniversary. Any excuse.
I don't so much remember Anna posting 'owie owie' as her other post which was 'somebody shoot me'. :p Brilliant.
Rans went and got me a slurpee and I'm feeling much better now. It's like magic, I was feeling so crap and now I feel much better. Mmm.

ahhh.. yes, the ouchies of labour! The midwife reckons I was the first woman to ask for a 'bottle of bourbon and a knife' during transistion in her whole career (I was totally serious when I said it too... reckon it woulda hurt less than labour at that point!)
