It's not crazy Meg. It's normal and perfectly rational. How often did you have them? I reckon it was almost daily towards the end for me.

Trust you to say that slurpee cravings are 'normal' Nelle!!!! You must be the slurpee queen! Oh, and yes, I really did say that in labour - several times apparently.
I really only just got over my slurpee craving. I blame it on still breastfeeding. I was wanting them all the time towards the end of my preggy. Always had to be coke flavour. So i was happy when maccas started them up, as I could nick down and get one any time!
Happy Birthday Gorgeous Alexander! I was thinking of you today while I was working away, and Ainsleigh woke me up at midnight to remind me that it was her friends birthday today! Hope you had a wonderful time at the zoo with Mummy and Daddy!
I have a ripper headache, and can't remember half of what people said... but I did laugh about slurpee cravings... wondered how long it would be till they came up again nelle!
and rach, hope jack is feeling better. will have to go and check out vy on nessa's page, and xanders birthday photos.
love all the ticker pics, am on the lappy so can't change mine... all my newborn photos are on the desktop. better post this and get to bed, lappy battery almost flat. xxx
HI ladies, just a quickie. When in labour with Bella I was very quiet, even said sorry for snapping at the midwife. I just remember the pain and when the OB said to me, I need to use forceps, I said yep and when she said I will need to cut you I said I dont care go for it. I guess I was over it by then. Poor Leith though he was white and grey.
How did all of your hubbies cope with the birth?
Sending babydust to those that want it.
Love
:happybirthday:HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY SEAN:happybirthday:
My god one more year and i have another teenager on my hands:wall:
Wow - happy birthday Sean - have a good one!
Maz - loved the photo of Vy - adorable.
Anna - loved the birthday boys pics.
Can't remember anything else, sorry I have just finished another assignment and am braindead but wanted to say hi.
off to bed now.
Till tomorrow....
Laurin
anna, dont think its my crow this month, i cant be that lucky the first month TTC, and all those feelings i had have dissapeared, so i reckon im out, and my temp took another dive, so i will be pretty damn happy for af to arrive, and i will FINALLY be back to normal :)
maz, great shot of vy
Morning (cant believe the little bugger got me up before 8:30 again).
Jodi - bite your tongue woman! I may be a good birther of babies but Im not sure 9lb-ers would be covered in that description :cryinglaugh: I dunno whats happening with the tummy, everyday I wake up and its bigger but Ive LOST weight instead of gained. Im seriously going to be huge and uncomfortable by November.
Anna - X looked like he has a fabulous time at his party and the zoo!
Maz - aw way to go Vy for being in Thats Life!
Nelle - LOL at your slurpee advice.
Helen - Ry coped really well with the birth. He enjoyed every second of it, even watched Jett be born. He cant wait to do it again. I asked him last night if he would actually be my labour partner this time and he said No way, I wanna see it come out again  I said Dude, youll never look at my vajayjay the same way again, Id rather you didnt. He just winked and said Well, when my penis shrinks inside my body when Im 80 you can be nice about it cause Ive seen yours at its worse :cryinglaugh:
Need to eat, I can feel m/s rearing its ugly head and Jett is making yum yum sounds at me *hint hint you think?*
Oh and he has decided walking is MUCH more fun than crawling
Good morning all you sexy mummas!
Helen.. um.. when i was in labour Grahame went and got the tv put on in the birth suite so he could watch the footy! So he was cheering on the footy while rubbing my back! Luckily by the time Jess decided it was time the footy was over.. but he was kinda freaking out a little.. he said it was horrible seeing me in pain and not being able to do anything.. Originally he said he didnt want to cut the cord or see anything down that end but he watched it all, from the midwife cutting me to Jesse coming flying out as DH discribes it, like a fisherman dumping his net on the deck and Jesse was the catch..
Anna.. oh what a wonderful 2 days it looks Xander had!! What a lucky boy!
Maz.. oh wow go miss Vy! Did you win anything for that?
We just got our electricity bill for the quarter and oh my goodness! $645 later!!!! Holey moley!!! Lucky we still have some tax money left to cover it!!
Nessa.. 4 DAYS TO GO!!
My Df wouldn't watch Ash come out, he refused to go down "that end" as he puts it. So he just sat up near my head, he also reckoned that he wasn't going to hold her or anything til she was cleaned up but I tell you as soon as she came out he flew out of his chair to her, I've never seen him move so fast! The best part of my labour was the epidural going in, think next time I'll be asking for it sooner.
Kell- pmsl at Grahame having the footy on, luckily we went in late sun night so footy was over for the weekend otherwise I reakon we'd be doing the same!
AnnaT- You sure its not twins? Lol, it is a big belly yet the rest of you is still small!
Chrissy- Happy birthday to Sean.
Sharleen- I have to ask how you ate minties and avoid them touching your tongue?
Nelle- Yes we broke our drought, finally, so gotta keep the water away!
I have noticed lately Ash is getting more and more impatient. Drives me crazy, dressing have to struggle thru, feeding I have to shovel in and if I stop for a second she starts whinging! Everything has to be then and there and in a hurry!
Bit of sad news, my Nanna died last night. I only just found out this morning as Mum didn't want to tell me such bad news on Xanders' 1st birthday.
Oh dear, im so sorry Anna. :hugs: to you sweetheart.
Shell.. oh theyre funny little things.. Jesse gets stroppy when i have to pull shirts or jumpers over his head and put his arms in. He's fine with them coming off, laughs his head off but putting them on is a battle. Pants and everything else is fine. Did the epidural hurt? I had gas (did nothing) and pethadine.. and am wondering if it was the pethadine that made Jesse's heartrate drop so low.. they nurse said it wasnt but still i wonder.
anna, im so sorry hun
Oh Anna Im sorry to hear that :( Big hugs to you.
Well Shell I dont think its twins unless one is hiding in my butt
Kell - EEK I thought my $360 elec bill was way to much. Im still trying to scrape the money together to pay it off lol Bloody winter sending us broke.
Jett is down for a nap already so Im off to have a baaaaaaaaaaaaath before we have to go book him in to daycare.
:hugs: Anna
OMG Anna - im so sorry honey..I hope she went peacefully. Im thinking of you.
I so forgot what I was going to say now. $HIT!
I cant believe how big your tummy's gotten AnnaT - WOW matie.
Im going down to the shop to buy Thats life right now..I didnt even know I emailed it in 3 or 4 months ago now. I'll have to buy a copy for my mum and not say anything, she'll get a kick out of it. I did a phone interview for the Coles baby magazine last week for being a bilingual family. So we'll be in the summer addition...heheheheh just about before I pop.
BBL
have to get my mag now
Thanks girls for the thoughts. My Nanna needed to rest, she had survived 7 strokes which had left her so physically and mentally debilitated that she had no quality of life left anymore. Whilst it is extremely sad that she has passed, the family are very relieved that she will now be able to finally rest peacefully.
Anna**- Big hugs to you and your family, it is sad to hear but as you said now she can rest peacefully. Just remember all the good times you had before the strokes.
Kell- After the pain of contractions I didn't even feel the epidural go in. I didn't like the pethidine much either, made me really drowsy and I just felt all over the place, like I was high! They not suppossed to give it too close to when bubs comes out cause it can cause resp depression. I think I'll skip the peth next time.
I think Ash is coming down with my cold, shes all sniffly and shes been hard to settle.
Jed took pic of my tummy last night and ive put it up in the gallery but here's the link
https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...05/ppuser/2375
im measureing at 125cm..remember what it was like carrying that around girls god and im not even half way yet.
huge hugs to you and your family at this time anna. like you said, she is finally at peace (although of course it is still very sad news) xxx
Hugs anna, may your nana rest in peace. Hugs to you too.
Bought the thats life to get little vy's pic!
Picked up a coupple of ruby's presents today from layby, sent some bday cards and made some gluten free cakes.Thats about it.
Ruby seems better again.Though i notice she is happy one min then tired and grumpy and her face gets all spotty and red? so who knows.
Great belly pics annat and maz!! Half way!!! Thats just gone so quick.
Um not much for personals today as im sure this thread started without me but i had 3 pages to catch up on!
Hows it today belle? have you sorted everything to go into the clinic?
Dear Anna** Very sorry about your Nan but I am sure sure is having a lovely, well earned rest right now and watching over her family.
I loved your Bourbon and Knife story. I just had gas and after hhoouurrss, asked if I could go home to Diesel. Forgot I had to hang around to have a baby. The Gas reminded me of a bad night out on the p%$$, kept my eyes shut the whole time coz when I opened them it made me dizzy.
Sharleen - I wish Bailey would pick up his toys! Maybe you could invent a washer/dryer/folder....for the Mummy who needs everything!
Meg - hope you get through the needle. Mind over matter!
Chrissy - Hope AF does a no show but I feel the same as you atm. Not over till the fat lady sings okay?
Howdy to everyone else.:hello:
Nessa - thanks for Baileys 'envelope'. Its on Mr Chuggaluggs dresser till the 14th! Its very kind of you, you didn't need to do it though. You're a champ.
Rikki - In the next few months I will need some more tshirts for a mates youngster and my niece...hope you are still doing them!:)
Well, dinner is in the slow cooker, but the kitchen is a brothel. Bails has his own cupboard now and everything has been pulled outta it. MOnkey.
Stay cool everybodeeee.....
Ash drives me crazy in the fact that if I offer finger food she'll play with it and just throw on floor yet she picks up EVERYTHING off the floor she finds and eats it, doesn't matter what it is she'll eat it. But real food, no. Maybe I should leave finger food around the floor!
Shell - ha, ha - maybe that's the way you could get her to eat finger food.
Vix - THe needle didnt hurt at the time, but is sore now.
Caddie - not sure what the spots would be ????
Maz - you have a super star!
Anna - I am so sorry to hear about your nan, but like you said, she is having a well deserved rest.
Kell - james is the same with dressing. He just wont sit still.
AnnaT - yay on the walking.
Helen - Tim was absolutely fine with the birth. In fact he has delivered 4 babies before. So he was ultra excited to see James being born. He knew exactly what to expect wich was great, as he could talk me through it as well. He even watched them do the episiotomy!!!
Well the biopsy is over and done with. Now I just have to wait. It was very unpleasant, but bearable. I feel a bit bruised now. I had to have 3 needle aspirations, so my neck is a bit bruised.
Oh yay - I just made it to 400 posts!!!
I did it.
I went and checked out kindycare today and booked Jett in on Fridays from 9am-2pm starting TOMORROW  They let him play with the kids there today while I filled out paperwork/talked his routine over with the carers and he loooooooved it! He didnt even look for me once. I think Im going to have the bigger problem with leaving him there hehe
Atleast it means I'll be able to get some housework done in peace and maybe even finish some of my study so Im not so far behind.
Meg - glad the biopsy is over and went well.
Put a pic of Jettster and I in my Pic Gallery if your game enough to look at my ugly mug :cryinglaugh:
Owie, these braxton hicks suck butt :wall:
just popping into say to Anna - sorry to hear your news, big hugs to you and your family, your nanna will be resting in peace and not in any pain anymore.
Will be back to do more personals later, just got to jump in the shower while i have a chance.
That's great about daycare anna. Jett is going to love it there! Try not to cry too much tomorrow when you drop him off! How's the m/s going?
I haven't had a chance to buy That's Life yet, but I must do it soon. Ho's your mum going maz? And how are you feeling?
helen - how'd you go with your app yesterday?
belle - hope you're ok. I'll ring as soon as I'm feeling a little better.
Well Heath, myself and Nina have come down with the flu today. I felt it coming on when I went to bed last night, and I can feel it getting worse again now. So I'm going to call it a night.
Just a very quick message to say that I will be offline for a while now, as we move in the morning, and it will take a bit till internet is up and running at the new home.
Anyway I will catch up with all some time after the move.
Meg
Maz - how are you going and how is your Mum?
Shell - Rylee loves throwing her finger food on the floor and laughs when I pick it up.
Meg - Hope the move went as smoothly as possible and we see you back here on BB asap.
Caddie - how are the spots going - food alergy, bubble bath, plant, pets??????
Kell - On the dressing side of things, the worst is when you are changing a pooey nappy and she tries to run off before you have chance to get the poo off the bum - scares the h&ll out of me.
Helen - James was really good when I gave birth, even though I knew he was dreading it as he is really bad with hospitals, blood, etc, he stayed up the head end and just kept on giving me alot of encouragement and support and then afterwards he was with Rylee while I was recovering - he was loads better than what I thought he would be - but he said it has traumatised him and hated seeing me in so much pain and he couldn't do anything about it.
Not much other news, just got Rylee down, it is 9.30 pm, so I am having a glass of wine then a hot shower, then bedtime.
Have any of you guys had professional photos of your bubs done yet, I was going to get some done for Rylee's birthday.....still thinking about it...
Till the morrow.
Laurin :)
:happybirthday:HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY EITHAN:happybirthday:

:happyforyou::happyforyou::happyforyou:
Hope you have a wonderful day spunky boy!!
Shell.. i might have to think about the epidural next time if it hurts that bad hehehe.. no doubt it will!!
Maz.. nice belly! Cant believe your nearly half way!!
Caddie.. hope Ruby is ok.. Jess seems similar lately. One minute happily playing then next at my feet whinging the house down.
Meg.. you poor thing.. glad its over though. When do you get the results? Best of luck with the move.
Jodi.. hope youre all feeling better soon. Stupid weather!
Laurin.. hehe oh dear.. I still change Jess on his change table so no where to run when hes done a poor.. but theres something down there for him to grab!! Im forever trying to stop him trying to grab his willy and get his hand covered in poop while im wiping his bum! Boys will be boys in that instance!! Nah havent got any professional ones done. Am thinking of doing some more myself.. cant really afford the professional ones.. would love to though.
Chrissy.. glad your cycles back to normal at least.. makes it alot easier! You had the depo (i think its called) didnt you? My doctor was trying to convince me to get it while i had my rubella booster so id have contraception for the 3 months. I just felt a bit funny about it and refused as didnt really like injecting something you cant take out.
DH is going for his day trial at the chook farm today. Hope all goes well. The reason we found the job was there is i met a friend on a different forum who live close by and her DH is a manager there.. Its funny how things work.. if i didnt have Jesse (he wasnt planned) then DH wouldnt be going for this job as i wouldnt have ever looked at mums and baby forums!
Nessa.. OH MY GOODNESS 3 DAYS WOMAN!!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EITHAN!
Jodi - m/s comes and goes. So far its gone again. For how long I dont know (and it *****s me).
Well trust my little booger to sleep late for the first morning in a week on kindy day :wall: Im going to have to wake him up in a min so Id better go get dressed and warm up his milk.
What am I going to do today?
When I get home Im having a nice long hot baaaaaaaaath. By myself. With a book. Too bad alcohol cant be involved ;) Then Im going to tidy up my house. Then Im going to study while I have some peace and quiet.
Whats to bet only the bath and some bludging gets done :cryinglaugh:
Happy birthday Eithan!!!! Have a fabulous day!!!!
happy first birthday eithan!
yay on the regular cycle chrissy
good luck on the move meg
is ruby still spotty caddie?
i get so frustrated that whenever anyone asks 'how's ainsleigh?' the answer is always she's sick. i feel like i am a bad mother because she has been sick for nearly five months with a few well periods stuck in the middle. went to the doctor yesterday... luckily we had an appt as was supposed to be for needles. yesterday morning her eye got really swollen.... she has conjunctivitis, an ear infection and is back on the steroids for her asthma. sorry this is a woe is me post, feeling a bit down :( at least dh is going to find out what it's like.... i'm off to work in fifteen minutes (mind you, i've still gotten her up and ready while dh sleeps in, but he did only fly in last night and he did get up to her during hte night)
are we going to have an msn chat to celebrate surviving the first year?
rikki - poor ainsleigh. Just think that if she's so sick when this young, then she should be a healthy girl when she's older. Well I hope so anyway.
An msn chat sounds great! I've got a bottle of wine in the fridge calling me, I'll drink enough for all the pg girls ;)
annat - I'm very jealous of you having a nice long hot bath, when I've run out of gas, so not hot water for me :( Hopefully they'll be here soon to fill it up
