Its oh........so.........quiet...................
I did manage to let go of Jett and walk away lol As soon as we got there the carer came over and said Hello to him. He waved and blew kisses and then struggled to get down. He then proceeded to scoot off somewhere to some fabulous toy. Thats the last I saw of him :lol: So I just left after giving the carers instructions on his routine.
No phone call so I guess he is ok.
So now its time for me to get off my butt and do what I planned on doing. Ive decided to forgoe the bath and have a long hot shower instead AFTER I clean up some.
I wanted to cry on the way home, I felt bad leaving him there but a teeny tiny part of me felt relief at 4.5hrs of peace, quiet and me time.

Rikki.. oh you poor thing.. poor Ains. Firstly YOU ARE NOT A BAD MOTHER!! You didnt ask or dont want little miss to be unwell.. you are doing everything you can for her and you love her more than life itself.. i cant find anywhere where that means you are a bad mother. Jesse had a touch of what i thought was conjunctivitus this week but looks to be cleared.. i hope Ain's does too. Lets hope come the 2nd year she does a complete reverse. :hugs: to you.
AnnT.. oh :hugs: to you.. i can only imagine what its like and am not looking forward to the day i have to leave Jess in care.. ive never been away from him in his life, apart from popping up to the shops for 1/2 hour to get something.
Ok back to cleaning.. have the queen and princess coming on monday..
riki....you are a fantastic mum, you poor thing, i feel for you and i hope ainsleigh recovers from her latest illneess sending you a huge sloopy one:)

I was suppose to be working today, but I'm still sick. Heath will be home just after lunch, so I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day in bed.
Nina has started only having 1 x 30min nap during the day now, I think she's starting to drop day sleeps altogether! God help me if she is.

Chrissy- Sorry no bubs this month but yay on finally getting a cycle!
AnnaT- First day i went to work and left Ash with matts's parents i cried in the car and then cried again when i got to work, was alot easier the second time. Its funny cause they seem to go fine without us, bet Jett's having a ball. Its just us mummies that don't cope!
Rikki- Big hugs to you sweety, you are a great mum. It must be hard when a child is often sick, but don't beat yourself up about it, your doing the best for her. I think she's getting all the illnesses out of the way now so as she gets older and all the other kids are getting sick she'll be as fit as.
Laurin- We had professional photo's done when Ash was just few weeks old, just be prepared to spend lots money! If your like me and say oh I'll just get couple but once you see all the pics and can't resist and spend more than you budgeted. We more get more done maybe in a years time.
Meg- good luck with the move today, see you when you're back on.

I been out shopping today, found another birthday present for Ash and just couple toys for her to have now. I was originally just going to buy boxers for Df for fathers day but somehow always end up buying Ash something. Wanted to get one of those material type tunnels but found this great one that has 5 different peices that you put together how you want so makes 2.7m tunnel with some parts that they can stand up and put head out, hard to explain' looks great on the pic, haven't opened it yet though.

God what a shocker arvo, Ash has screamed as though she was being murdered. Usually boobie fixes all but cause her nose is all stuffy and made worse by the screaming she couldn't drink properly. Got so bad i was crying cause I just couldn't console her. Finally just put her in pram and went for a walk and 5 mins she was sound asleep.
Maz- When do you get the results of the EEG?
Jodi- An EEG is like where the measure brain waves. I think because Wilhelm has had few seizures, is that correct Maz?
I got my birthday KK pressie... thank you so much to whomever sent it too me. Got a Bob the Builder digger toy and it was wrapped in Bob Builder paper too. Very cute.

Rikki - like the other girls said she is getting all her illnessses out the way now and building up immunity so next year she will be 100%!!!! You are a fabbo mum so don't beat yourself up about it.

Shell - it's not much fun when they cry and cry and you can't do anything about it - I have cried too when I havn't been able to console Rylee, the crying just really gets to you doesn't it.

My Myer manager called today and wants to know if I'm coming back...I really don't know. I like working there, but I'd need to be available for at least 4 shifts a week cos I'm casual. And I remember working when pregnant and achey just made me grumpy and I wanted to leave already. Guess I'll talk it over with Rans. Who I hope is bringing me home dim sims for lunch. They're my new favourite thing.

Well Jett apparently went ok at kindycare except for the odd sook here and there. He wouldnt nap though OR drink his milk but he did eat all his lunch. After I picked him up we went into town to grab a few groceries and I noticed he sounded really wheezy. He also feels hot so now I have to watch him like a hawk, if he gets worse or spikes a fever I am hightailing it to the hospital and refusing to leave until they test him for the flu - no way am I going to pay it off as a cold when all these people keep dying from the flu. Would explain why he was crappy at care though.
He's asleep now. Im tired and have a headache but my house is CLEAN.

Had playgroup today,the girls really enjoy it. They are both sitting on the floor reading their books.Its so cute. Ruby has another tooth coming thorugh.Im not happy with her crooked little teeth but being baby ones they fall out! lol
Maz,hope you had a little rest. Did wilhelm have to be sedated for the procedure? Just wondered if you ever tested him for ceoliacs(wheat intolerance/gluten) as reading alot of material which links the 2. A blood test for the gene can be done? Just a thought thought.Perhaps google it and see if wilhelm has any symptoms.

Ness i had the same thoughts about aaron.Lucky i had my sister to help out when i was in hospy for 7days! Drove me insane with worry.Was more worried bout leaving millana than my poor little 51/2 pounder. She didnt cope too well but was right as rain as soon as i was home. They have to learn. Just as well because when ruby was 6months i was in hospital and aaron had to cope with both.And he did which i was proud of. Maybe when he is on his own with her he's different.,Maybe he puts on a preformance when your there so you will takeover?

As for first birthday pressies, Xander got from us one of those blown-plastic moulded climbing frame with a slide/step and a swing. He loves it so far. He also got a trolley with wooden blocks, heaps of clothes (including one gorgy shirt from Ains), a sandpit set (I guess we're buying a sandpit for Xmas), some toy cars and other small wheeled toys, a few books (always good as I read a lot to him), a SmartTrike which converts for babies 10 months - 3 years, a helmet for the trike, some money for his savings account, some Duplo, a fancy wooden growth chart thing, hmmm... that's about it, oh and a Bob the Builder Digger.

as for birthday pressies, i laybuyed caitys last week, but only a budget of $50, theres not a real lot to choose from, and what really sh**s me is most toys need batteries, so i ended up choosing just this little pop up toy that needed no batteries! and i wiggles dvd.
since june we have a kids birthday everymonth till xmas, so we are on such a tight budget, that everyone gets $50 spent on them and i put $10 in there bank accounts, and that goes for xmas as well.......7 kids = $350 + bank money..thats plenty, and they all get so many gifts as they get mums presents and then they get dads, so they dont really miss out.

I spent bout $100 all up on birthday but saved lots from the sale. Xmas we don't spend much cause there is everyone else to buy for also but thought for birthday can spend a little more.

Ness- Hopefully the dresses won't be too expensive, they'll look sooo cute though. When's the wedding? We'll have to see pics.

I think I'll do some packing today, 3.5 weeks til I move so I'm gonna pack up all the stuff we don't use very often.
Rikki - The Expo was spread over two buildings this year so heaps more room. Not as many freebies tho, I got there at 10am yesterday and got what there was (mainly 'sposie nappies and toddler formula). But by the time we left an hour later a lot of the stalls had no samples left on display and people were squabbling over what was left. The Mother & Baby stall had a good pack though which had a tupperware lunch container in it (I missed that stall!).
Chrissy - We normally have a budget of $50 for birthdays and $20 for Xmas in my whole family. Most of Xanders' big pressies were spread between a few people. We bought him the swing set, but it wont be the norm him getting such big pressies.
I remember the expo here last year, it was soooo packed it was bad, so hard to push prams around and so hard to look at things. It was my very first outing with Ash too (besides just walking up the street) and I was all nervous.
The free stuff was great though, got heaps nappies.
oh just realised, one month exact now til ash's birthday!
HI guys, thank-you sooo much for Eithan's bday wishes. 'We didnt do much yesterday as we are having his party tomorrow. We did give him his pressies though. Bella got him a 'cars' fold out couch, and we got him some duplo and a peek a blocks school bus.
Will be back on in a couple of days to do personals and talk more.

Yeh Grahame hasnt had chicken pox before. Have been searching online about it and if it does happen he gets it now can cause infertility, not to mension he can get quite sick from it. Its just something we cant risk unfortunately, no matter what the odds are. It is very disappointing, i had Annika's bottles here ready, sterilized and filled with water, your room will remain set up and ready to go when you get here (i might dust inbetween) .. ah well.. guess the count down begins again.. hoo hum.
