It must be the age for tantrums. Nina has been having tantrums for about a month now. They only last a couple of seconds, but it's driving me crazy. She's certainly testing us!
Thanks for the anniversary wishes. I'm surprised I got one at all as we're going away in a couple of weeks for the weekend, and that's not cheap. I must have done something right lately :D
I don't even look in the Messages for Other Members, so can't remember if I said it or not, but Happy Birthday for a couple of weeks ago Shell!
Talking about anniversaries, how long has everyone been with their partner? Heath and I have been together 5 years, married for 2.
Not much happening here today. Heath is home sick again today. He's just gone off to the dr's. He seems to be a bit fluey, but his arthritis is playing up again in his hand. His own fault though, cause he had motorcross last weekend, and the dr has warned him that he shouldn't be riding because of his hand. Too stubborn he is.
ETA: forgot to ask. Sharleen - when are you going to Melbourne? We'll be going through Bundy at Xmas on our way to Sunshine Coast. If you're still home we can meet up!
-
Good morning.. GOOD MORNING!
Hehe no worries Shell :)
Shell.. oh Jesse's started the going back in the pram tanties too!! I saw a friend yesterday and she said oh Jesse's always so good he never plays up... i said oh yeh he does, he has his moments.. then after a nappy change all hell broke loose going back in the pram! Lucky there was a tv on in the change room which distracted him for 5 seconds. It gets harder as they get stronger though!
Think we'll have a day at home today.. very chilly out.. suns out but looks like it could start raining any minute.
ETA.. Grahame and i have been together for 4 years, married 1.
-
Ry and I have been together 3 years this past June, married 3 years in January 2008 (OMG has it already been 3 years!?) 3 years and 1.5 kids later he still drives me insane :cryinglaugh:
My cheeky monkey scared me this morning by sleeping through all night but waking at 6am happy and ready to play. I wanted to cry at the thought of being awake for the day even though the sun hadnt graced us with its presence yet so I left him in bed with a bottle. Next thing I remember is waking up to Jett ch...............ow the little bugger just bit my arm and left a bruise :o I screamed in fright and he's started crying lol Bloody hell that hurt...............anywho I woke up to Jett chatting away and it was 9:40am! So I guess we'll have to go into town over lunch and have a late nap this arvo.
MAZ - 1 more day til your u/s sweets
-
Matt and I have been together 4.5 loooong years. Lol, I always say that to him.
Well Ash is sound asleep without a peep, she fell asleep on morning tea booby. She's prolly tired from keeping us awake last night, very unsettled. Could be the cold she caught off me or teeth, who knows. This one tooth I been waiting ages to break thru, I can feel it right there, she has this huge bump.
Sharleen- I always wondered what those mum/ bub exercise classes are like, but now Ash is getting so much heavier it scares me! I'm not to good with exercise, although having a baby does get me out walking.
AnnaT- Oh I'd love ash to have a sleep like that! A dream, I think Ash has 10+ 4 times since she was born!
Jodi- You are getting spoilt!I suggested it to matt when hes on school holidays we should. But it prolly won't be til summer school holidays.
Kell- I found one trick that works is to give Ash my keys, I only ever give them to her if I'm out having coffee or something, that way she'll think its a special thing and keep quiet.
Got mums group this arvo, missed last week cause of the hand/ foot/ mouth business. One of the bubs is turning 1 tomor, first one in our group.
-
Sharleen - oh you'll be here in time for when AnnaT and I have these bubs..Woo Hoo!
Jed and I have been together 11 years on the 6th of December and our 8 year wedding anni is on the 18th of September. I fell pg with NIkolaus on our honeymoon and got an eternity ring with 5 diamonds in it when he was born. Jed bought me a gold band with diamonds in it when Wilhelm was born and when we had Vy he bought me a ring with 3 huge diamonds and 4 little diamonds in it (the big ones for our earth babies and the little ones for our angel babies) wonder what i'll get this time??? A new car pmsl
hope everyone is well sorry for being slack have a huge headache and getting worried about tomorrow.
Has anyone heard from Nelle??? Is she ok...just worried about the pg woman
-
Sharls - are you driving down or flying? Not sure if I'll be able to make it to Melb for a meetup in those first few weeks cause DH wont have much time off BUT if your driving down youll come right past me and are welcome to drop in for coffee :)

Hi guys.
A big Thank-you for Eithan's present. The person who sent it kept it a secret. I can let you know it came beautifully packaged. He got a bib, a cute little all in one suit and a spot book. Eithan absolutely adores the book. I gave it too him and he just smiled and made a happy noise the whole time. He loved turning the pages. He LOVES it. So again a big thank-you.
Hope you see pink bits tomorrow Maz.
Leith and I have been together for 9yrs married for 3 1/2.
Cant stay. A few things happening at the moment, just a bit overwhelmed.
Hope Sat went well Belle.
Nelle-where are you???

Oh, I just went to post a reply and was informed I have an infraction? I read about it and still have no idea why I have one point against me now or what I even did wrong.
Maz and Shell - Ricks a builder so he was able to fix it up last night...in the dark. We now have three big post things in our lounge room holding the ceiling up so it dries back in its correct place. No carpet thank goodness! Only a longe was wet from being dripped on all night but a few hrs in front of the heater did the trick!
I'm gone.......have to read up on infractions again!
-
Where do you find if you have an infraction? Sometimes its for swearing!
-
God I better watch my mouth then pmsl or I'll en dup with an arm load full of them.
I went to Pumpkin patch today and I know its early but I bought VY a dress to wear to her Aunties wedding in August next year. It was $70 down to $30 and is so beautiful. I couldnt leave it there!
Helen I hope your alright honey. I didnt send you a pressy..mines not until close to the end of the month ;)
Vix - OMG we had post holding up the ceiling for amonth while Jed was doing the reno's last year...im STILL waiting for my ensuite to be finished!!!!!!
Caddie I cant get over how big Ruby looks in that pic. How are yo going anyway matie...ive been so slack
-
Vix.. id guess it was for your sig too.. maybe the type is too big? or did you have an icon or something in it? I got one recently too. I had a ticker from one site and my little pic from another.. no one looking at it could tell the difference but anyways..
Maz.. go the bargins! Im a barin lover thats for sure. Jesse's already outfitted for the whole of next winter.
Shell.. thats an idea.. ive handed him the bum wipe container before to get him into the pram.. will keep the keys as a back up!
Caddie.. when you go to User Profile where it displays all your subscribed threads, its below them.
Nessa.. that sux about the fine..
Mum and dad just sent us some money for our wedding we didnt have. Being we decided to have a family registry wedding (went out for lunch afterwards to Centrepoint), they said we could either have a big wedding the second year or theyll give us the money they wouldve paid for it, as they paid for my sisters and brother's weddings. We were going to have the wedding but decided we were happy with the day we had, we had our family there, had a beautiful lunch and a great day.. so decided the money would be much better option for us and we received a cheque today. Really helps thats for sure!
Well its cold and miserable in sydney today.. im off to watch some telly..
-
Hey all,
Maz - that Jed is a keeper that is for sure with all those lovely rings. Good luck tomorrow. Pumpkin Patch are having a fantastic sale on here at the moment - 50% off - I bought some cute things for Rylee couldn't resist.
Shell - how are you feeling today? I hear you on the tantys - omg - I am dreading the toddler years. Best thing is distraction, if you have got something good to distract that is.
Jodi - lucky you on the eternity ring, must start hinting to my DH.
Vixstar - there should be an email in your in box telling you why you got an infraction, I got one the other day for putting a web link in!!
Nessa - bummer on getting your fine today.
Kell - good news on getting the wedding money!
Hi to everyone else, can't think of any other personals....
Anyway, on with the day - I can smell something gross. Rylee was up at 4 am and vomited all over me after she had her bottle - guess it didn't go down to well. Oh, James and I have been together for 10 years, married for 2 - we're late starters I guess, don't want to rush things - lol.
Later dudettes.
Laurin :)
-
I just bought Jett his first pairs of shoes lol I got some lace up slip on sandshoes with a soft-ish sole and some blue Crocs :) He's having a ball stomping around in the Crocs but still cant stay upright long on grass (I think its more the fascination of it than not being able to balance  )
I was also naughty and made a girl and boy layby because of these fabulous sales all the shops have on. So now next friday all I have to do is go and cancel whichever doesnt apply. I really hope its the pink one I keep because the girls clothes are absolutely adorable!
Maz, what times your u/s???????????? Hopefully youll have updated us by the time I get back from Coffee Club at 12pm............or I'll go insane waiting.
Helen, I didnt actually send the pressie either but holy cow you just reminded me I need to organise mine for my KK, I STILL havent bought anything yet
-
Laurin.. oh dear i hope Rylees feeling better today.
AnnaT.. i thought Jett was wearing some shoes in some of his previous photos? How exciting baby shopping! oh i cant wait until i hopefully have a pink one!
-

He was Kell but they are getting a bit too small now (which is sad cause theyre Sketchers runners) and he has extra trouble walking in them because theyre so chunky.
-
maz - you're one spoilt lady! Good luck with your u/s tomorrow, what time is it?
Laurin - How's Rylee feeling now? Better I hope.
helen - wasn't me. I still haven't let my kk know.
kel - that's great about the money. What are your plans with it? Going to splurge a little?
Nina's been a little turd today. Been chucking tantrums all day. She's throwing one now in bed. I'd better go do something with her.

Jodi- God it must be the tanty chucking week!
Annie- Good luck back at work tomor. How did the kids go at the child care? They settle into it alright?
Laurin- How is Rylee? Was it a one off vomit or she been off all day?
Kell- thats great bout the money. I reakon you should put it away to put towards a nice holiday somewhere.
Maz- Good luck with the u/s tomor, we're all hanging out to find out the bits.
Ness- that sux bout the fine, I thought they might've been bit lenient and let you off with a warning.
I have headache, Ash still seems bit off color. Has a bit of a cough. Just been bit unsettled and clingier today. I just hope she sleeps better than last night.
We're gonna watch Transformers soon, Df got burnt copy for us.
-
just popping in to say HELLO.......havent been on to much these last couple of days, better go jump the old man :)
-
Chrissy - you have got more energy than me that is for sure...
Shell - hope your headache goes soon, it has been hanging around for a few days - hates those ones.
Annie - good luck for work, I am sure you had a few tears leaving the kids today but they didn't mind as much as you did.
Rylee seems a bit sooky today, no more vomits, no tanty's just a bit of a mummy's sad girl today, poor kid. Just went to the gym and came back and had a bacon sandwich - yummo. Nothing else to report, will have a quiet arvo.
Hey to all :)
Laurin
-
Annie-Goodluck at work today, I am sure the kids will be fine. Although I must admit I'd have a bit of a cry too.
Happy Birthday to me, big 27.
I got my presents from Leith and the kids last night as they wouldnt have had a chance to this morning because Leith leaves for work before the kids are up. I got an anniversary car bear, sooo cute, 2 books, some body shop lip balm, yummy, and a new nappy bag. So excited about the nappy bag, I have wanted one for ages and finally got one. I have had a nappy bag, but it started to fall apart, despite being new when I had Eithan.
Ok well that's enough from me, have heaps to do. Hope you are all well.

-
Hello everybodeeeee,
Infraction figured out! It was too big with the Blinkie I had on there!
Kell - What happenes at the registry office weddings? Rick and I have been together for 13 years and have not got around to that part yet. Partying, travelling, TAFE, new ute, mortgage, Bailey, new crewman, and life got in first! What do they cost etc?
Maz - sending best wishes your way for today.:goodluck: I love bargains too. I am a bit of an op-shopper for bailey when it comes to clothes for playing in here at home. I bought him a jumper, practically new (Target brand) for $2.00. Also have got him 2 pj's for this year for $2.00 each and a bib for the next bub for .20c! Mum found him a Pumpkin Patch jumper for $5.00 a few months ago.
Helen - Happy Birthday you young chicken.:happybirthday: aah, to be 27 again!
Nessa - poor puppy! Diesel loved going to the vet when he was a pup - puppy school was held there. Then came the needles and the dreaded snip! He gets nervous now! LOL What sort of dog do you have ?
Chrissy - Ricks come up with a new saying for O - he calls it 'egg dropping'.
Big hello to those I 'ave missed and hugs to all the kiddies, even those chucking tantys and throwing up!
Question - I had a c-section with Bailey and as you all know we are ttc number 2. AF is due tomorrow (if deadly accurate) but yesterday after I picked Bailey up I felt like I had overstretched something behing where my c-section scar is if that makes sense. Now it hurts to stand up to quickly, cough, sneeze, wind build up (the polite way to say needing a good ole f@rt) etc Anyone else experienced this? I am going to read up about pregnancies follwing c-sections but I am curious.
Very long post - sorry!
Be good everyone.
xxx
-

well i am over logging on and telling you that Ainsleigh is still sick. we worked out yesterday that she has been sick fairly constantly for five months. the doc wanted to admit her yesterday, but we compromised on hiring a nebuliser and giving her twice daily nebs.... she has to go back for review this afternoon then again on monday so they are keeping a close eye on her. best go and get organised, work day for me today xx
-
can I just say "jack finish you breakie"
I decided he could have fruit toast for breakie normally has a weetbix well 20min later we are still munching and I am scared to leave him in case he chokes on it
-
Maz, can't wait to hear bout u/s! You're prolly in there at the moment. I work at williamstown hospital, its a small community one.
Rikki- Big hugs to you . How does Ainsleigh go with the nebs? Is there anything they can give her to help prevent attacks?
Vixstar- Not sure on that one, maybe you pulled a muscle in there?
HelenP- :happybirthday: Have a great day! Will you get to have a dinner out or anything?
Not much happening here, Ash still unsettled and we're both still snotty and coughing. My sister and nephew coming over today so hope they don't get our germies.
-
Lately the only way to get Ash to sleep is to go for a walk, luckily the weather has been ok. I'm just feeling exhausted from all the whinging and crying. I know she is unwell and I can also see tooth coming thru but it wears me out. Then she gets tired and won't sleep and screams cause she gets so overtired. I just want to go to bed and sleep for a week. No wonder I can't shake this cold I don't get time to rest!
Maz where are you? We're all waiting to hear from you.
-
Vixstar - they are called abraisons from your scar..IVe got a gut full of them and yes they friggen hurt.
Helen - I am so sorry honey - happy birthday - I so hope your day is fantastic.
Baby is very well...Im longer along then first thoughts, 19weeks and 3 days so Im due on the 13th of January now...looks like a News Years baby for me. And well my ticker says the rest. :(
BBL when IM finished salking
-
Aw Maz maybe you could get one of those gender u/s at the 3D imaging place in Melb when you can get down there???
-
maz, sending you a big hug....i sort of know what you feel, when we had caitys U/S we were sure we had blue bits in there, and i desperatly wanted them as well, ( with my boys not living with me and all) and we both in a state of shock when it was a girl, craig was soooooo disappointed, but it only took 24 hours to get over it, so i hope you are ok with it and its sinking in. i really hope your doing ok....now send some blue dust my way!!
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HELEN!!!!
Maz.. oh hun, well, being he said bub's legs were closed, still can mean its a girl. I hope for you hun that it is.
Vixstar.. with the registry office wedding.. you have to go in with your partner and lodge an Intent To Marry form. While there you book the date you want (has to be at least 1 month and 1 day from your lodgement). Costs, depending which day you marry, we got married on a Saturday so it was $350, otherwise if you go monday to friday its $270. Youre allowed to bring 12 people with you.. and you need to have 2 whitnesses. For the ceremony you go into a nice room, where its really just like being in a tiny church kinda thing, but not. The celebrant we saw was really nice and they just go through the whole ceremony like any normal wedding. You exchange rings etc. If you wish to bring flowers you can. Then sign a certificate as do your whitnesses and the celebrant and yeh. Goes for about half an hour i think. But yeh we then all went to centrepoint for lunch and had a really lovely day. I was very happy with it.
Ness.. yep. The weather is still crappola here! Definately a gift in disguise! Glad Teleah is ok.
Our money is going to pay off the rest of grahame's loan (about $2K) then the rest is going away. Going to pay for our cars to get registered etc and out away for when we need it.
-
Oh maz, what can i say! Congratulations anyway and now i know vy is going to be real lucky to have the boys to look after her.
Happy birthday helen. Still a spring chicken!
Just popped on to get maz's news.
-
thanks girls - shock is wearing off a little just over worried thats all
BBtomorrow
Mauw all
-
Maz- Congrats, I know you wanted a girl but I am glad to hear all is well and you can relax a bit now. Vy will get spoilt I reakon being the only girl!
Kell- I'm thinking now Matt and I should think bout having wedding like yours til we can afford our trip to las vegas. Sounds nice and just have those really close to us there. Can be great, really nice day without us spending so much money!
Poor Ash, her cough sounds terrible. I rang the Drs but they said if I'm worried I can bring her in but seeing as she doesn't have a temp or anything to see how she goes so I'll re-assess in the morning. She's been miserable on and off all day. poor thing.
-
sounds like alot of the bubs are sick, Ainsleigh, Ashleigh & Annika...poor things, hope they get better quick...
Rylee vomited again last night and then this morning and she has a temperature so we are off to see the doctor at 12.30 pm - of course today has to be the day DH has the car so he has to come home, etc, etc. So I have a whingey bub on my hands.
Maz - you just never know - we got told Rylee was going to be a boy at the first scan and then the next scan we got told she was a girl - that is why she is called Rylee - because we decided on Riley as she was going to be a boy then was so used to calling Riley we just changed the spelling to make it more feminine.
What else, Big Happy Birthday to you Helen you young thing - hope you are having a fantastic day!!!!
Anyway, best be off to entertain Miss R.
Hi to all the other Mums,
Laurin :)
-
me and craig got amrried in the regisry at newcastle, we had both sets of parents with us, and the room was that SMALL i was lucky no one else was there as we were already rubbing shoulders as it was........LOL........
