I agree with the others Maz, I know it's disappointing, but it's definite on the gender yet, and Sunshine has a great h/b. I'd be booking in for another u/s if it was me. A friend of mine had 5 u/s until they found out. They were obviously really keen to know.
Shell.. yeh it was a good day i think.. and if you want you can do the big thing at a later date when you can afford it. We just had our family there and Grahame's best mate as hes an only child and we had a lovely day.
Chrissy.. oh really. Yeh the Sydney registry room is quite big. Has those church pews? for everyone to sit in.

Very good news for us, Nina is back to 2 sleeps a day now!! I'm really hoping this will last at least a little while, I could really get used to this.

Vixstar.. yep! Well i had grahame's parents = 2, his best mate and fiance = 2, My parents = 2, brother and wife = 2, sister, husband, 3 kids = 5... so we really had 13.. i think they tell you 12 because thats how many adults they can comfortable sit. Kids can sit on laps.

Well.. my AF was due 3 days ago. No no dont get too excited.. im not UTD. No chance on that.. ive even done a test for some minute reason i was pg and still got AF the past month or so..no double lines THANK GOODNESS! (being still not in the all clear of Rubella).. so no idea where the dingleberry AF is.. she mustve got lost i think.. ive never had a cycle this long before.. better not make up for herself and be flowing like niagra falls i tell ya!
Kellxx - My AF has gone AWOL as well :dunno: I'm not UTD either (I tested a couple of days ago). Weird.

Xander had his 12 months jabs today. 3 needles is just mean. He seems ok now though after a dose of panadol.
Oh, and my GP prescribed me Clomid.
ooooooo anna... clomid! you were so anti that, but i am sure it will be wonderful and you will just end up with one bundle, not two. hope yesterday was ok... well as good as can be.
anna, can gps priscribe clomid if i have no luck in the next few months im thinking clomid, but last time i was on it, the speliast prescribed it, didnt know you could get it from a gp?
vix, everything is crossed for you, do a test!
Neither did I Chrissy, but yes as I found out today, a GP can prescribe it... I think it is just that they normally prefer to refer you to a specialist in fertility first to check things out. I'm lucky in that my GP is an ex-OB/GYN so knows a bit about fertility stuff.
Rikki - I know, I know.... lets' just cross everything that I don't end up with twins! My GP assures me that there is only a 5-10% chance, more likely 5%.

How reliable are Pregnow tests girls? Chrissy was kind enough to send me some a while back, I've nearly used them all... should I buy more or are there other cheapy brands that are better?

Im sorry if I came across all selfish yesterday about this baby being a boy and not a girl. I am sorry if I offended anyone in any way. Im just really upset cause if I have a boy, he has a high chanch of having autisum as Wilhelm has it and unless you have a child with a disability I guess you cant really relate. So again I am sorry if I offended any one. I am very happy that my baby seems healthy but there's been an itch at me that something wasnt right with this baby since the start... I had the same itch with Wilhelm. Its just me and I have to come to terms with it.

love that photo of Vy - you didn't come across as being selfish Maz at all, if you can't tell us how you feel then who can you tell???? And, it is very understandable with Wilhem having autism that you feel this way, but this little bubba will be as healthy as anything, you gotta believe it!!!
We had a bad night, Rylee's temp was up and down all night and I am going to the doctors again shortly, the dr yesterday couldn't really say what she had - the usual - viral infection - so I have to take a wee sample and test for a utd....she is very clingy and miserable and I have a headache but we will get through this with the help of a few strong coffees (for me that is).

anna google lulaby conceptions, lots of girls in the TTC threads swear by them, also they have cheapie ones but good ones, i got some last month, but there was no need to use them, but also some girls, get -ve on some brands when others give them +ve.

Me,scrapbooking galore! I went out last night and hubby babysat then i will be going out for tea friday with some girlfriends then another scrap night on Sat night! Im so lucky, and hubby was glad to let me go.Its good fun and i like having a outlet to create!
Girls are good,millana still being toilet trained but only a couple of accidents here and there and ruby getting another tooth. Cant believe shes one soon.Its funny but i noticed her tanty's too.She lies on the ground and will put her head on her hands and pretend cry then look up to see whether im watching.Too cute.haha.

Maz - You definitely haven't offended me. I can completely understand your reasoning for wanting another girl. And we all know that if you end up with another boy than it won't be loved any less than your other children. You're just worried about the health of bubby that's all. Have you thought about getting another ultrasound?

Well good and bad news here.
Good news, we can still go away next weekend :dance: Our babysitter lives around the corner, so between her and mum, they'll look after Nina. Mum can't do much for 6 weeks while she recovers from surgery.
Talking of surgery, found out that she needed a blood transfusion (sp?) during surgery as she lost a fair bit of blood, and the ct scan hadn't shown most of the cysts that she had, hence why she had both ovaries removed.
Bad news, she won't be discharged until Monday, and Nina's b'day party is this Saturday. We can't really postpone it either as we have too many things on for the next couple of weeks. I'm really upset that mum can't be there. I told her we'd see about postponing it, but that was before we realised how much stuff we have on in the next month. So now she has her hopes up. She's such a big part of Nina's life, that I'm devastated about it. What do I do? The earliest we could have the party is the last weekend in September. And we can't cancel any of our other engagements either. :(
Sorry, no more personals, dinner is calling me. I'm working 3 days a week now as I've got a new job. Same workplace, but different job. It's a better job too. I'll be working Wednesday, Thursday & Friday's. So very tired ATM.
Jodi- Let me know how you go doing that extra day. I'm still doing 2 days ATM but down the track will be thinking of increasing. Maybe with your mum you could have her over after she is discharged and just have a small dinner and cake or something for her own celebration with Nina? We have similar prob, IL's are going to be away when we have Ash's party and we couldn't do any other weekend so we're just gonna have them over on her actual b'day for dinner and cake.
Anna- Good luck with the Clomid, maybe you'll end up with 6 like that show I been watching on Foxtel, no I better not tell you stories like that! I'm not usre exactly what she was on though.
Caddie- Sounds like you having a good week, be nice to have a break and do something just for you that you enjoy. I'm actually finding myself enjoy going to work I find that is kind of a break for me.
Laurin- How is Rylee? I hate when they are sick, has her temp come down? If its viral it shouldn't stay up for long.

Yum I just polished off KFC, found myself starving after work so had to drive thru on the way home, the sign was calling me in!
Ash must be better cause she actually slept today without any screaming. Thank god too, I was stressing how the IL's would handle it! maybe she just wants to scream for me. I put eucalyptus in an oil burner and just turned blew out the candle when I went to bed. I think it really helped. I should've done that for myself when I had it.
Hi guys. :) I'm okay here, just had such a busy week/weekend, my nan died the same day as Anna's (sorry to hear mate), and she was quite the matriarch, so my close and massive family kept me busy, and River had some spewy bug, and I forgot I'd booked an IKEA trip with my best mate (which was fun til we realised we had no way of getting everything home, put a pregnant lady and a scatterbrain together and what do you get - home delivery! Thank goodness for that) and I've just been getting through each day, and then falling asleep reading your posts in bed. Oh yeah, and I've felt nauseous most of the time on top of that. So I'm okay, thanks for missing me you sweet things you, I'll try to post, but honestly, I can't be stuffed. I smile and laugh and frown and feel sympathy in all the right spots when I'm reading, cos I care, but I fall asleep (or need to pee) at the end. Sorry. I'll try though.
I'm going to miss so much. But here's what's on the top of my head.
Jodi, can you just videotape/photograph heaps of the party, and have a 'party' at the hospital with your mum too? You can tell your mum she plays such a special part in Nina's life that they get their own private party. Better than nothing. Will the hospital let her out for 2 hours? Once again, better than nothing.
All the best with the clomid Anna, hopefully you fall fast and don't get too hormonally whacko. Remember with twins, I've got a mate who had her bub same day as you, and he's a high maintenance kid too, the thought of another soon is a bit scary for her, while the thought of more for me with a low maintenance kid isn't daunting at all...what I'm trying to say is, if you have twins, they might be really calm and mellow and awesome sleepers, all kids are different, and if you end up with twinnies, you'll deal with it hey. Hoping for one with you though!
Caddie, you'll be so relaxed with all that time off you won't know yourself! That's great that you can take some time out!

Congrats on a healthy bub Maz. Can you get what the chances are of another autistic boy from a specialist or something? Like if someone says 'moderate' chance I think 'oh no!' but when I realise that might mean only 20% or something it seems better...am I making sense? Hope that niggling isn't something wrong, and is just gas. Are you gassy? I'm so gassy.

Vix a line is a line chick, esp when your AF is MIA, as long as it came up within 10min of peeing on it :) Try buying a Confirm HPT, they always gave me the darkest most positive lines you can get even if AF wasnt due yet! Good luck!
As for all you other MIA-AF-ers, test will you! I dont know how you havent or havent tested a bazillion times by now, I would have used up all the HPTs in the world (and nearly did with this baby). Oh we're having a baby explosion I bet!
Anna, Im sure the clomid will give you ONE healthy bub like it did me! How many mgs are you taking a cycle? I hope your already preggo and dont need to use it afterall.
Im sick. After wiping J's runny nose for a week now I have to wipe my own. Im sick of tissues and snot. BUT he's at Kindy today (he always picks K-Day to sleep in the little bugger) and I have my 19wk appointment at 11:40. Im hoping he'll scan and give me another peek between the legs seeing as I have to part with $1200 today :lol: Then its off to lunch with a girlfriend who's kids are with J at kindy. Maybe some shopping if I find out the flavour.
Need to go eat my croissant and shower/blow dry my hair (OMG can you imagine, a shower with no child in, out of or nearby it!)

I've just had my eyes tested, finally. I last got my glasses nearly 8 years ago and they are falling apart. But yay on our family health insurance, covered the lot, at least I'm getting something out of all that money we pay for it!

but today we have done well except the dirty nappy business, while brendan had lunch Jack had a bottle, and while Jack munched on a bread roll ( :redface: he loves them) Brendan decided he need to be fed his bottle he then fell asleep then 5 min later after a cuddle Jack was down :)
but I only got 45 min then brendan woke crying which in turn woke Jack who started crying so I had to nurse and console both Jack went back to sleep on couch while I cuddle brendan then he fell asleep again so I went o transfer him to fold out couch but no go tears again which woke Jack :lol:
but they are now happy playing together so except for trashing my nice clean house all is good
the funny thing is Brendan being he is walking gets into everything so I go 'Brendan NO!!!!' which results in Jack dissolving and brendan continueing doing what ever so while I comfort Jack I have ot manovour brendan away from fish tank/tv what etc, Jase and I reckon mayb rather than NO with Jack we should just say "BRENDAN" :lol:
ok best go finish making the IL's beds *sigh*..............and fold the washing put away dishes do general daily tidy and then watch tv, when brendan leaves I will re-vac floors and try to get a little ironing done before they arrive joy friggin joy.........

We are having another crappy day, I'm starting to think this child of mine hates me cause all she does with me is scream at nap times, grizzle all day, plays up at meal times.... though she was so well behaved for IL's or Df when I go to work! I actually was in tears just before, I've had enough, she is still up, hasn't had a sleep at all today yet she is so tired, yawning her head off. I tell you the way she is going I don't think I'll ever want another!
OH shell you poor thing.I had one of those days the other day with ruby having a 1hr nap at 930am in the morning and then no more sleep for rest of the day. Drove me totally insane!!!
I think this is the age of them testing us mummies. Ruby will cry and then check to see if im looking. Have you let her cry in her cot for a little while as overstimulation from us trying to get them to sleep and overtiredness is bad combo's! Sometimes it works sometimes not but if not in 1/2hr i ususally cave in and give a little rock to calm down then put her back in.
It wont be regular thing (i hope) but it just happens sometimes.
No no no.. definately not UTD.. AF is here now, pheeww. Dont know how id cope currently with 2 babies.. even though the other wouldnt be here for another 9 months.. Jesse going back to his being scared of everyone phase.. well not everyone, just babies!! Any babies make a noise he cries. Happened the other week at my gf's place with her 9 month old, now happened all day today at mums group at one of the mum's houses. I picked up Natasha and Shanaya and Shanaya made a noise in the car, so he cried the whole way.. then when there, Isaac made a noise and he cried. He then had a hour and a half sleep, had his lunch and Isaac came over (Isaacs nearly 6 months) and he nearly cried again.. then in the car on the way back Shanaya made a sound and he cried again. Have a feeling his top teeth arent helping to be honest, and he had a few pellets when i changed his nappy last so think hes a little constipated.. but yeh.. didnt have a good day poor little dumpling.

Appt went ok - BP was fine, still showing protein in my urine though, diangosed me with SPD (yay NOT), measuring 23wks :doh: and little booger is breech.
Nelle - honey I forgot to say it before but I am so sorry to hear of your nan's passing. I hope it was peaceful and that she was smiling down at her whole family being to gether to celebrate the life she had and the lives she had made.
Shell - mate I dont know what ot say but I so hear you. I often wonder why the hell I fell pg so quickly again but it was ment to be. I totally agree with Cad's..they do it to test us. She may be completely different in the new house (fingers crossed)
Kell - give Jess man a hug from us...im very ejalous about all his teeth though. Vy does the opposite with a baby, she laughs at them when they cry.

Told Mum today that we're still going ahead with the party, and she's ok with it.
kel - glad AF arrived for you. Bummer that Jesse is behaving like that with babies. It must be the teeth. Nina's teeth have been making her a cranky bum too this week, but she seems to be her old self again today.
shell - :grouphug: Don't think that she hates you. I'm sure the 2 of you have many great times together. I second what Caddie suggested. I will leave Nina in her cot and let her have a little whinge. I don't leave it too long, but enough time for her to either fall asleep, or calm down. If she gets too hysterical, I'll go in, give her some water or a bottle if she's due for one, but I won't pick her up. It's time to get tough!

Thanks girls. I'm hoping it is just a phase, (its a phase thats been going too long in my eyes!) she does have cold, plus teething and maybe too me going back to work even if it is only 2 days a week that may have some effect on her?
I do leave her in her cot to wind down and if she gets hysterical I go in, calm her a try again but some days she will just scream the second I put her down and will scream for an hour when I usually give in and get her up, then she just grizzles and yawns cause she so tired.
Ness- i didn't know either but I googled it and its come up as Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, it says it relates to pain as the ligaments in the pelvis all soften up due to hormones.
AnnaT- Yay, Jett will have a little brother to play and fight with.
Maz- If you find any solutions to getting Vy to sleep thru the night let me know! I feel at this stage they should be doing it, I'd be happy if I just had to get up once at this stage. I'll have to think of you and Caddie next time I'm bum patting!
Caddie- I think she is testing me, esp with the meal times and the tanty's she throws! Ahh it seems every stage they get to has something hard to battle thru.
Kell- Jesse must be growing up to be a SNAG seeing as he is sensitive to the other bubs.
