That's cool that you're not fussed about the sex Ambz, then you'll be happy either way hey!
We use the Gaia soothing lotion too...we use all Gaia stuff actually, it smells so yummy! River smells like my own little frosty fruit!
Sorry to scare you girls, it was only a tiny smudge of blood Thurs night, and a small bit on Friday night. It was a bit frightening at the time, because my sickness has subsided (yay!) and I was thinking, ohhh what if this is the start of heavy bleeding? But I read up about it, and apparently bleeding at 9-10ish weeks often has something to do with the placenta having burrowed in enough and so it takes over the hormone production and feeding of the baby and that can sometimes cause a bit of blood. I chatted to C (my friend/birth support partner/student midwife, but I'll say C, cos it's shorter), and she reckoned it was normal and I should be fine. Gave me a sleepless night at the time though!
Hope all the sickies are getting rest and recovering! It'll never end though I fear, winter has all the bugs, but summer will take them outdoors and the bumps and grazes and falls and accidents will begin! And it'll go on and on til...well who knows when? Til they're 90?
Hmm, my feet are cold...might go find some socks or slipper and a cardi.
ETA: Is the 12th of Sept only next week?? I get my nutrimetics order then! I thought it was ages away.

Nelle - Really glad to hear that the smidge of blood looks like nothing to worry about. Still always gives a bit of a scare tho!
Ambz - Yay for Savannah doing a Target shoot. I've had lots of people say I should get X into it, but there isn't anything over here in WA. I'll keep an eye for her in the upcoming catalogues.
Maz - Vy must've sent the squirty bug over to X, he seems to have it now. I'm hoping that it might just be a residual side-effect of the antibiotics hes' been on lately, but somehow I don't think so. When has Vy's party been rescheduled for? I start my Clomid tomorrow... so nervous, but excited at the same time. I hope I don't go too feral this time on it - Scott is getting excited about the fact that he will 'have' to have sex more than a few times this month.

Rach cornflour and vaseline is a home remedy but when my girls been bad ive used pink nappy paste from chemist.Very thick paste acts like a barrier and it works. The hospy's use it and and it has a stork on the front.

:wall: Ive just got home from hospital AGAIN. Last night was the worst and scariest night of my life. We thought we were going to be coming home without a baby
TMI warning:
All yesterday felt like I needed to go #2 but everytime I tried it just hurt with lots of pressure, but no #2's. I had a feeling something might be wrong. After about 3hrs of back and forth on the toilet I felt something pop out of my *ahem* I nearly freakin died thinking it was Ripley :( Ry rushed me to the Maternity ward where they told me I had a prolapsed vaginal wall. Can you believe it??? Then I went into labour with really painful contractions and pressure. I swear I was about to fall into a heap and just give up. Poor Ry got the scare of his life and almost cried when the nurses started whispering about babies not being viable at 20wks and giving us the worse case scenario. I just cried and kept thinking about what I did to deserve this.
OB fixed the prolapse and they gave me morphine to try and relax my uterus and stop it contracting and it worked thankgod  but Im still a frazzled mess. This kid is going to send me grey before he even comes out.
Ry has today off to take care of Jetty + has tomorrow and possibly wednesday off if I need him too before he goes away for a week on friday. So Im resting up for the next day or so but we should be a-ok now. Just thought Id let you know incase you worry that Ive gone MIA.
Belated birthday wishes to our birthday babies!!!
Hope you guys are all doing ok.

Rach - I would def give more nappy free time, hard when they are so on the move now! Also I agree, just warm water cloths, or maybe a duck under the shower with ytou if it is that time anyway. I will have to remember the cornflour and Vas tho.
Kell - If he is still like this tomorrow, I will def go back to the doctors. As he had tonsillitis last week, it may be that. I see the health nurse as well so I might ask her. The Gp gave me a repeat script for the antibiotics, so he may end up back on them.
Woo hoo on the Target shoot. She is already earning herself some $$$$
Nelle -Glad you talked to C. Always good to get these things checked.
Maz - are you looking forward to the ultrasound? It's always nice to say "hello"
-
Oh Anna - I posted at the same time.
How scary. It really sounds like you need more support. If I was closer I would be there in a flash. Do you have any family that can help out?
I will keep you in my prayers for bub to stay put for at least another 15 weeks!
-
Crikey Annat. :stickyvibesboy: That's insane! What do you need to do now? Just rest a lot? How scary!!
Ohh River's giving up so many giggles today! He's had a shot at playing Ran's racing game with the steering wheel, and keeps going into his room and almost shutting the door, then peeking out. He makes us laugh so much.
-
OMGosh AnnaT how scary. Take care and rest as much as possible.
Love
-
:hugs: holy hell Anna is there anyone who can give you more time to recover you need to tak eit really easy now and keep Ripley nice and calm and baking away there thinking of you :hugs:

Kell - I have made a doctors appt for tomorrow morning. james and been a clingy mess all afternoon, and I think I should get it checked out. maybe the Tonsillitis has not fully gone.
Anyway will post again tomorrow.
Going to try and catch an early night as I know that he will be awake half the night!

Just take it easy is all they told me. If not for the early labour it wouldnt have been a hugely serious complication.
Its so weird going down there to wipe knowing some of my vajayjay is popping out :cryinglaugh: Would be quite funny if not for the serious issues it could cause. Im really worried its going to interfere with a vaginal birth if it doesnt clear up by the time Rips is ready to come out. I dont want him to drag the rest of my insides with him. Its basically swollen vaginal tissues that isnt staying in there. They thought Id had a traumatic delivery with hours of pushing and almost died when I said I did 3hrs (45 min pushing) and no tearing. This is more commonly seen in women who's labours were traumatic and had lengthy pushing stages.
Its pretty insane when your own OBGYN who has been in practice for !30 years! is saying he's never seen anything quite like it before......................
Meg - Well my Dad said at a pinch he could come down but we really arent that close and he isnt a kid person sooooooooo would be more of a hindrance than help. My sister could come down if it was an emergency but she would have to take time off Uni and work which means she'd be broke, making me broke because she eats like a man and sleeps til midday. She wouldnt last 5 hours having to take care of Jett AND me. Im just going to have to suck it up and go about life as normal.
-
Holy moley annat! Praying you will have no more dramas.Thats so scary!! Feet up my dear no moving!! Keep us posted.
Sharls, whats up matey. Did the party not go as planned?
Rach yes mixed together.Just acts as a barrier. All creams should be taken off and reapplied each nappychange.
-
Annat maybe yout vjay vjay is a funny shape?
-
Who knows Caddie. Im not going to keep it like that though if its doesnt correct itself even after bub comes. I'll be opting for some contouring surgery or I'll NEVER have sex again! Im thinking it might be caused by the pressure of my uterus (seeing as I have SPD this time) and all the increased blood flow.
Its so gross lol
-
Meg.. oh good, well hope you can figure out what it is the poor pet.
Well Jess went down easy tonight. He seems to be picking up. Loves his antibiotics, strawberry flavour mmmm.
