Maz (just quickly as I'm eating KFC, YUM!), I was like that with Rans, I thought I loved him when we first got married, now I realise that compared to how I feel about him now, what I felt to him back then was nothing! You think you can't possibly love deeper, and then you find a different level of love! It's amazing and awesome isn't it. Blows my mind, how much I love my family.
Oh and yeah, funny to think I'm not too long off halfway! I give birth in under 6 months!
Shell, insomnia is a preg thing for me. So yeah, there's definitely there's a light at the end of the tunnel. That Brauer spray is saving me though! Kell, I just take it when I want to sleep! 1/2 hour before bed, and then some sprays before bed, but I just spray when I go to bed, cos I forget 1/2 hour before. :p
Big hugs to all our sickies  Not fun to be sick.
-
Not feeling happy so Im keeping to myself. I hope your all doing well though!
Maz - I def recommend getting the test done. Its costing me $30 out of pocket (might not for you though depending on what company you go through) but I consider it worth it. I notice the itching much more now when I *dont* take the phenergan. Its driving me insane.
-
Hugs Annat, hope things are okay.
Yeah Ness, the belly is slowly coming along...well, I think so, no-one else can really see it yet, I just look like I've put on a bit of chub. Never mind. I *think* I've started to feel kicks, but can't be sure, it's nothing strong, the sonographer said the placenta's at the front, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
I'm not doing myself any favours with insomnia am I. :p Okay, off to bed then!
OH! Forgot to say, River had his first sleepover at Mum and Dad's last night, since Rans and I had Thanksgiving dinner which went late - apparently it didn't faze him at all! Dad was amazed, said 'you don't know how good you've got it...' to which, admittedly I got a bit snippy, cos everyone says that, and trust me, I DO appreciate how cruisy River is! I do! I'm very grateful and don't take him for granted at all! Anyway, it's good to know that he's okay for overnighters if we ever need again!
-
Oh my goodness NESSA.. see you in 5 hours next week!!
AnnaT.. hope everythings ok.
Nelle.. glad its just a pg thing and not long term.. bbut good the spray stuff works! Nothing worse than knowing youre tired but cant sleep.
Maz.. oh i know what you mean. I sit and look at Jesse and just cant remember him being anything but he is now. Like i dont remember him being a little baby. Of course i remember what happened etc, just he is who he is now. I was thinking the other night when i was up at 1am with him just cuddling him that i love him so much. It did not phase me being up at that hour for 4 hours. I was thinking to myself how calm i was being with him just because i had him. Hard to explain.
Helen.. oh you poor thing, hope you got some better sleep last night.
Rach.. yay for Jack walking.
SHell.. glad you had a good weekend! Jesse still has his boogery nose. Worst thing is, ive woke with a slight tingle in my throat! SO have taken some multivitamins in hope they kick it before it starts. If not ill be straight onto the codril. Hope work is cruisy for you today.
-
I think the steps were a little fluke but he did it, he walked from couch to jason's chair I didn't see but jase got him to do it again a little later and he did but was wobbly we keep trying to get him to go again but he just laughs and falls down, now we really need to get him to stand alone first I think before he walks he will occasionally let go of table or where ever he is standing for 10-15secs then realise and make a grab for it
also ?? and yes I know every child is different when did your kids stand alone without assistance..
-
Rach.. Jesse stood unaided on 23rd July so 10 1/2 months. But as you said every child is different. He is not doing alot of things that others are, like in speach. He still doesnt clap hands or point also.
Anna**.. how are you travelling these days hun? Hows that spunky little man of yours? Have you made and cakes lately? Would love to see them.
ETA.. Anna just looked at Xander's photos with his spilt milk hehe cheeky monkey!
-
what I meant was standing without using a aid to stand up, so if he/she was in middle of room and could stand
-
Jett was doing that at a week off 10mths Rach, then he started walking full time. Its unusual for babies to do that without walking first. They dont have enough leg strength yet.
-
thanks Anna so they need to walk before standing up :) cool thats what I was trying to find out :)
-
Thanks guys, still sick baby here. I am off to the dr's in 20mins. He wont drink or eat.
Sharleen-Hope things settle down soon.
Eithan cannot walk or stand unasissted yet.
I cant believe how preggers all of you pregger mummies are getting.
Ummmm better go Eithan crying.
Love
-
Generally Rach, although there are always exceptions to the rule! Sounds like walking isnt too far off for you guys. Get ready to go insane lol
HAPPY 3RD TRIMESTER MAZ!!!!!!!!!!
-
OMG AnnaT - I totally forget!! $hit! hope our ok chickie! Im defently dong that test now I dont care im sick of acting like a dog with flea's!
Im glad im not the only one who feels this big love thing atm.
Rach - Vy would stand herself up at 9 months un added. Every baby is different and were some do things early other do things better earlier. Dont stress about it.
Bel - are you alright after last night matie.
$hit Helen - I hope to hell Eithan's alright..im thining of you.
Nelle - I cant wait to see your belly next month and im the same as you...I jsut cant sleep! I dont even get tired really, drives me insane cause i know I'll be so tired later. I also think it is a truely beautiful thing that you have found adeeper love for Rans now too. I spoke to Jed about that last night and he said he felt the same after we had each baby. And you know what, I feel like that to about Jed. I honestly dont know what I would do without him in my life. I cant even think about it with out wanting to cry.
Ness - OMG one week to go and you'll be flying high...I cant believe its come so quickly.
Kell - you hit the nail on the head honey. I love those tender times in the early hours in the morning just cuddling, knowing its just me and Vy and no-one else. I love night feeds (as much as my eyes are hanging out of my head) just for that.
Sharleen - PMSL at Ambah being obsessed at your boobs. Vy has this habbit of p[utting her hand down my top and nesting it inbetween them lately...god knows why cause its been a year (OMG) since I BF her.
Hello everyone else..hope today finds you with sunny skies and happy thoughts.
-
hi girls
sorry not up to personals, i am just so sick with m/s, and so tired and vague, just thought i would let you all know im still alive :)
-
just to clarify I am so not stressed about the standing or walking was just curious
man I wish this headache stuff would go away, the boys are driving me nuts today *sigh* they both seem tired :dunno: neither wants food, bottles or need nappy changes so not helping my headache dizziness :(
-
Rach, ruby only started walking from the 24th of sept.Prior to that she was standing on her own for about a month then took the first few steps.Millana walked at 9.5months.So bit of a difference.
Ruby says only a few words.Dadda, mumma, nana, pop pop, dharma,ta,hello and millana is just a sound like yaya.lol
They are different because millanas word after mum, dad, nana, and pop was chochoc which is chocolate.Still says it like that now!!
Chrissy hope you feel better soon.M/S must suck.I never really had it but if its anything like spewing i couldnt handle it.
Maz i feel like that with ruby and millana. If anything ever happened i would absolutley die.I love them so much and millana is like my twin and ruby makes me smile and melt my heart even when im grumpy.

Hey all,
Gotto type real fast as our damn modem is starting to pack it in and has a habit of turning itself off. Quick question - whos on what internet provider and how much do you pay. Our Bigpond runs out in Nov and we are outta there....I hope!
Kell - Must do coffee I know. I have not been into Penrith during the day since ms started. I get rather paranoid! LOL I love those hours in the nights sitting there nurisng Bailey back to sleep. Sometimes I even cry coz my memories float back to those rather early days. I know exactly what you mean mate!
Shell - hows the gym going????
annat - not long to go now! i have 6 months to go but before i know it i will be where you are now.
rach - hope you are feeling heaps better now. yay for jackstar!

not ok maz - worse last night and this morning and have been at drs as burnt my hand
-
Owie Belle, hope it heals and today's a better day for you! Maybe a cup of tea and some sunshine?
Yeah, where's Jodi? Jodiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!
Lol at loving your boobs Sharle, it's only been a month since River stopped and he's forgotten all about them - in fact, he was over them the day after he stopped! Just not interested.
Also lol about the milestones - River's not talking or walking! Just cute as usual. He'll get there when he gets there.
Vicki, we're with Optusnet, we've got cable broadband...not sure how much it costs, but I doubt it's cheap. Reliable though. We were with internode (uses a telstra phone line) before this, and they were great. Just that our new place didn't have a telstra phone line, and it woulda cost heaps to get one.
Can't remember what else...I've got a load of washing on, it's so warm and windy today!
Oh yeah, I also forgot to say, we took River to the park for the first time yesterday and I went on the swing with him - he loved it!
ETA: Does anyone else's baby laugh randomly?? I can just hear River laughing, no idea at what! :p Ha, he's playing with a block! Small things hey...
-
Thanks Nelle , honestly I dont know if things will get better, im at a loss to know what to do next, J wont see a marriage counsellor. I chatted to my gp this morning as I was in tears after I burnt myself with coffee, I dont know what to do...
-
Oww hugs Belle. Just go see a counsellor yourself hon, you're only responsible for yourself, and your actions. You take care of you.
-
Thanks Nelle yes I am I am seeing my psycologist who is also marriage counsellor
-
Aww Belle, ouchie at the burnt hand. I hope that DH can get his head around the idea of counselling for you. Goodluck with everything, huge hugs.
Anna-How is your chest pain?
Well Eithan has a chest infection and both of his ears are infected. He ate a third of a banana and about 100mls of milk and 20ml of water, that's it so far today. The dr didnt seem that fussed about it and said that his anitbiotics will help him pick up quite quickly, poor thing.
I just took off my shoes, Pooooooooooey.
Love
-
OMg Helen -I so hope he gets better soon so you can relax a bit. Poor little bugger.
Caddie - I cried when I read your post about MIllana being your twin. I so hope I have a bond as strong as yours and MIllana's with Vy.
Vixstar - Yep still itchy and its worse in the 'hot spots' IFYKWIM my nipples are so itchy I could cut them off and throw them in the corner. PMSL at you holding the on button on. OH we're with BIgpong..heheheh sorry bigpond and pay $59 a month unlimited...I know its not the cheapest but im just far to lazy to do anything aobut it atm.
Bel - you take care matie
Anna - you alright chickie??
Jodstar - I hope your not staying away cause of my stinky farts again...(sorry pg thing)
Hav eto go, on a mission to keep this house..umm...sort of clean to the best of my ability.
-
Well.. Jesse stood before he walked. He didnt start walking until 2 weeks before his birthday. So he as standing for about a month before he started walking. I think they just do it their own way, theres no set way to how they develope.
Belle.. Hugs hun, hope everythings ok.
Nelle.. yes!! I have a video of Jesse laughing at the tv.. funniest home videos was on and he just laughed his head off. He sat there today having a conversation, in baby talk, with his fire truck. During the conversation he'd laugh, then talk again, then laugh again.. so cute.
-
Maz - J nestles his hands in my cleavage too lol My girlfriends always laugh about him doing it EVERY time I pick him up. I think it could be too do with feeling our heartbeats maybe? As for the love thing, I hear ya - I feel the same way about Jett. Everytime I think I know him he changes and I fall in love all over again. I think its a survival mechanism so we dont abandon or eat them :cryinglaugh:
Vix - Nope not long to go now at all - 11 weeks and 2 days!!!. Feels like forever though! It'll go equally fast for you esp being a busy Mama to your little man. We are with AAPT for our phone/internet and we pay $80 something dollars for super fast broadband and a phone cap.
-
Vixstar.. we're with Optus. We pay $49.95 per month for 1500kbps, 7gb download 12pm-12am and 14gb download 12am-12pm (total 21gb download). Thats the best ive found around for that speed. Thats pretty close to top of the line in speed. If you have another item with optus such as a mobile or home phone you pay $49.95, otherwise its $59.95.
-
Thanks girls I will come back and do personals tomorrow im knackered right now and my hand hurts so much...
Vixstar - we have iinet, which is great its ADSL2 - Monthly charge for Broadband2 Plus light service the fastest you can get for $49... um downloads im not sure I think its 12G I will confirm with Jeffrey tomorrow.

Ness- You've made me realise Ash has never been swimming, i think this summer we'll have to check out the pool or beach, maybe I should get her some bathers first.
Maz- Lol at the stinky farts, i have a fart phobia, Df has to leave the room, I just so hate them!
helenP- Hopefully those AB's will kick in quick. usually after couple doses there is marked improvement.
belle- Big hugs to you sweety, sounds like a bad day. Hope th burn isn't too serious. is there any reason why your Dh won't go to councilling?
Nelle- Ash laughs ALL the time and sometimes she has this evil sounding laugh. its hilarious, people always comment on it.
Vixstar- the gym hasn't opened yet, its brand new one, should be opened end Nov- Dec. As for internet, we went with Virgin get 4gb month plus home ohone, unlimited local and national calls all for $60 month. We don't go over our 4gb and if you do it just slows down won't charge you any extra, we mainly liked the deal for all the phone calls, seeing as I'm on the phone all the time.
And as for bubs and hands down tops Ash either likes to hold onto my top or grab nipples! She has given a few people nipple cripple.
Ok, better pop off to bed, just got home from work. Had KFC again! Every time I work I'm starving at the end of the shift so I always seem to drive thru KFC and get nuggets, its gone up from getting a 6 pack to getting a 10 pack!
-

Speaking of swimming, Jett had his first swimming lesson last night and OMG it went better than I ever expected. I was thinking we'd have issues because he's never been swimming in a pool (just a paddle in the bath/river) but he was trying to jump in before the lesson even started  Im so glad I got off my lazy butt and finally booked him in as he had a ball and cried when we went home. I definately recommend lessons, they are super fun! Was so nice to be weightless for 30min but Im not sure how everyone else faired seeing my chunky butt in a swimsuit hehehehe
BBL. Im trying to clean while J is still asleep seeing as I wake up and cant get back to sleep at 6:45 every morning now....
-
Im enrolling Julia in swimming lessons at our local pool today too shall be good.
Im curious some of the girls on here have mentioned their toddlers/babies sleep in in the morning, but Julia has always woken up early, so it would be great to hear from you when they all wake up in the morning and how long you keep them up until their morning sleep if at all. If we are at home Julia always wakes up at 6am and then I put her to bed at 9am, but if we go out in the morning she doesnt sleep til after lunch.

Belle, ruby has one sleep a day regardless of what time she's woken.Today she woke just after 5am but i gave her a drink and she got out at 6am. So today she will most likely go 1130am,sleep for 1 and half and go to bed tonight at 7ish. If she sleeps in she will go to bed round 1230pm.
Hows your hand by the way? And i totally agree with someone who said you are responsible for your own health and look after you matey even if hubby wont. If he is not being suppostive then what type of husband is he? Sorry but it ****es me off when you have a genuine illness and i thought marrige was in sickness and in health. To me it sounds like he dont give you the emotional support.Sprry to vent.Just sticking up for you.
-
Well Belle my mother never EVER let us get out of bed before 7:30/8:00am even as small babies so we were trained into sleeping until then or even later. So I sort of did the same with Jett, but never really had any sleep issues so it was easy. Lately he's been waking at 6:30/7:00 but that is waaaaaaay to early for me (even though I'll often toss and turn til 7:30 and then get up anyway) so I just change him, give him a sippy of milk and leave him. Most times he goes back to sleep but sometimes he'll cry until he gets cuddles and then he goes back to sleep. If he gets up for the day at 7:30 he'll be ready for a nap at 10:30, if he gets up at 8:30/9:00am he'll be ready for a nap at 12pm or thereabouts. So he's up about 3hrs before the whingy tiredness kicks in. Obviously if we go out he sleeps when we get home but often snoozes in the pram around his normal nap time.
The only upside to ME getting up at the crack of dawn (in AnnaT-world anyway, maybe Nelle world too lol) is that I get to clean uninterupted.
-
Jodi.. i hope everythings ok hun.
Belle.. Jesse use to wake between 7-8am. But now its 6am because of the sun light. Once day light saving kicks in then i think it will be back to 7-8am. But before if he woke before 7am i would go in, give him a dummy and leave him there until after 7am. So perhaps, if you dont already have some, some block out curtains might be a good idea. You can get them at spotlight and they block out all traces of light. I only have materical curtains but am thinking of sewing some block out on the back of them. So currently he's up usually around 6.30am and then goes down for his morning sleep at around 10am. Previously with the later waking it was 11amish.. or just whenever hes starting to look tired really. If hes not tired i hold off on putting him down as its just gonna be a ***** fight and he wont sleep. Have never had any problems with his day sleeps that way. If hes not tired by about 11.30am i dont bother with a morning sleep, i give him his lunch and see how he is then. Usually after a full tummy he'll be tired and then goes in for a nap.
-
Thanks so much for your thoughts everyone. Nina is teething really bad ATM and is screaming the house down all night. Heath and I are taking turns at trying to comfort her at night. So we're getting absolutely no sleep. During the day is fine as she's preoccupied, it's the nights we can't handle. I've tried every teething relief I can find here, but nothing is working. I've also taken her to the dr, and she doesn't have an ear infection or anything. There are about 6 teeth trying to break through all at once. I just pray they come through soon.
Another issue is that she's hating have a full nappy at night ATM as well. So I'm having to change her at least twice overnight just to please her.
I won't be on much while she's like this. I can't keep up with everything, and I'm too damn tired. Heath hasn't been working as he's too tired as well.
-
HUgs Jodi I hope that those teeth come through quickly for you.
Well Eithan looks like he has lost weight, his chubby face isnt so chubby anymore. He still wont eat but he managed some water this morning. Yah he is not alergic to AB. I was sooo nervous as he hasnt had them before, but all is good.
Shell-your post made me chuckle but I cant remember why, but I have 1 question, How do you put up with your own farts, or do you just suck em back up?
