Hmm might have to think bout taking Ash swimming, might ask Df if he wants to do it so it can be an Ash and daddy thing they do together.

HelenP- I suck em back up, oh that made me laugh, I just don't fart.

Jodi- big hugs, god hope she settles down for you soon, its awful to see them like that too and not be able to soothe them.

Belle- Ash used to wake up bout 7:30-8 and she used to play for a bit too now she wakes too early, if she wakes at 6 or before I can usually give her a feed and get her back down but if she wakes near 6:30 I can't get her back to sleep but i refuse to get up before 7 so she just has to stay in her cot til then! Oh and she usually has a nap bout 11-11:30ish, just one a day now.

Ok better get myself organised for the arvo. Gotta drop Ash off at a friends place so I can head off to this union meeting in the city.

firstly all these babies swimming Jack starts season 2 lessons tomorrow so looking forward to getting him back in the pool, have thought about going down this arvie but........

Anna as for naps stuff Jack generally wakes (of late) 7.30am-8am and latley has taken to going down for a huge nap 1.5-2.5hrs around 10-11am, I have never been one to got to have a nap if he naps he naps, I also dont let his nap stop me going out etc, some days he will also have a 40min nap in the arvie :)

forgot to mention Jack can now drink thru a straw, so went and got him a tommee tippee straw cup thing today he is so good with it

as for me, well one small trip to IGA and I felt like passing out :( I have so much to do but get dizzy trying to do anything even bein gon comp hurts

Yeah Ambz, me and a mate from the Cloth nappy thread are going on the Friday. :) I think it'll be better than last year, last year Riv was less than a month old, and it was my first nappy change and feed in public and all the toys were kinda irrelevant - this year it should be more interesting.

Oh and Savanna, as always, is a cutie.

Huge turn out today at the meeting, biggest they've seen. As from tomor we are going to shut one out of 4 beds but there are some exceptions like oncology, ICU, maternity. Hopefully Brumby will do something. they make so much money from pokies and the casino, why can't they out it back into the healthcare system?

I was thinking bout going to baby expo fri but now have appt fri after lunch, gotta go see a surgeon bout having my wisdom teeth removed. had the x-rays done months ago but been bit slack.

Ohh, I cant remember what everyone else wrote.

James started swimming lessons last week and LOVED it. Loves putting his head under, loves jumping out to me, Just loves it all!!!!

Belle - james gets up at 7am most mornings. If he wakes earlier, he has a play by himself in the cot. ususally he has a sleep around 11am. Any where from 1 hours to 2.5 hrs, just depends on how busy we have been.

Rach - James has stood by himself only twice, and when he remembers that he is standing alone, he panics and grabs back hold. he is no where near ready to walk yet. An his vocab isn't that huge. Bub, dad, daddy, mum, mummy, nanna, oh dear (don't know where that one has come from!!!)

Well chickies that about all for the moment.

I forogt to mension i found out today my SIL has preaclampsia (sp?). She's 36 weeks so theyve admited her and are monitoring her now. OB said they may induce her over the next day or so. So praying for my brother's baby and wife.

Jesse went coocoo crazy tonight. Was so funny. He's got into a habit of face diving into his couch. So now after he's dived, he gets up, walks away to take a run off and runs and dives again.. he does this over and over. Ive got it on camera too the crazy kid! In the end we ended up having to stop him as he was working up a sweat!! :lol:

Meg-I wish too, we ran out of power so as soon as Leith got home I had to go and get some more. Plus Eithan ended up getting up. Oh and we are on daylight savings so we are an hr ahead of you guys, but I was in bed at 7:50 only to be up again at 8:15.

Shell- I still cant believe you dont fart, I reckon you must fart in your sleep. Goodluck with the nursing situation, down here in tassie I think they are worse paid and have been trying for years for more.

I might be off to the aquarium today, going with my sister and nephew. Hoping Ash will go down for a sleep bout 10:30 so we can get there just after lunch. Shes been awake since 6:30. Its like an alarm clock goes off in her head cause last few days right on the dot she's awake. I was asleep by 9 last night!

Belle- Have fun at your mums. I love spending time with my mum, don't get to see her often enough.

Kell- Ahh you're starting to scare me. I keep thinking it must be bad if they refused to do it in the chair and said I need a surgeon to do it! Give me drugs!

Aahh, my cheeky monkey was up at 7am this morning so I popped him into bed with my until 7.30am when my belly started rumbling. So, we got up had breakfast, watched Play with me Sesame and Bails is back in bed. ...............................the Aussie Post guy just turned up, diesel is barking like there is no tomorrow and the guy just knocked on the door instead of using the doorbell. How Bailey is going to stay asleep I dont know. All is still quiet in there at the mom, so hopefully he will crash again. I live such an exciting life don't I?

Eeek re the Baby Yogurt I feed Julia that, and its all gone, but she seems ok so I cant check anything so... what can you dooo. Wonder what expiry date it was that had the flakes in it.

Melbourne ladies, I might be able to get to Melb in Dec, however as far as convinving DH for a meet-up is another question as it will be for a family trip. I might be able to meet you guys. If we come over we will definantly be going to the zoo, so that would probably be the best place to meet. I have no idea yet, but am soooo hoping to go as Leith has hol's for the first 2 weeks in Dec. But it might be mid-week not weekend I dont know how that fits into anyone elses lifestyle.

Belle, I've seen Mazzie moo in cloth nappies today I think - she got that delivery of fluffy minky feeling material the other day, so I'm guessing that a certain itchy lady is attached to her sewing machine - oh sheesh I hope not literally - Maz! Don't sew yourself to anything mate!!

There's heaps of us AWOL here and there hey, I suppose that's what happens as our kids get older and some of us get pregnant again, life gets busier and more tiring!

ETA: You can have coffee in pregnancy can't you, just not too much, like a cup a day or something? I really want to get a coffee machine, just a drip one or something. Not sure where that desire came from. Who has a coffee machine here?

You can have a few cups of coffee a day Nelle so go get your machine :) I dont own one though so cant help you on recommendations, I dont really drink coffee.

Nelle thanks for asking after me, yeah, I have been AWOL, but have been lurking and always love reading what you guys are up to. After 12 weeks I had about half a cup of coffee a day, I am a coffee-holic - love the stuff...

Well, I saw the marriage counsellor last Thurs, it was quite an emotional day and I felt zonked afterwards, DH has to go on Friday and then we go together next week.

Anyway, the news is that on 8 November, DH, Rylee and I are going to Melb for two weeks, then he is coming back to Johannesburg, I am going to NZ to stay with my family, DH will come over at Christmas for a couple of weeks then he will go back to Johannesburg and I will stay in NZ until mid Feb when our house in Melbourne will be available again.....so we have three weeks until Rylee and I are outta here - it is like working out a job notice when you resign. But will be kept busy with packing etc. DH isn't too happy about being away from Rylee but i can't stand it here any longer. So next year, he will be away for four weeks and back for two weeks, not ideal but......just one of those things.

Anyway, enough about me. Helen, how are you and Eithan going, Shell, good luck with the wisdom teeth, Anna - hugs to you, Rach - I am sure Jack will get the hang of swimming in a few more sessions, Belle - enjoy spending time with your friend from the US, hi to Kell, Maz, AnnaT, Annie, Meg, Nessa, Vixstar, sorry I have been such a slacker of late...

Cutest thing happened today.Ruby was trying to put on my hot pink shoes.Ive only worn them once but my girls love them and have taken ownership of them.She was putting her little feet in my size 10 shoes,standing up and would try to walk.I felt like crying it was so sweet.
Ok um nelle your a crazy girl. I craved coffee when preggars with ruby.I have a coffee machine too.I limited myself to 2 cups a day when pregnant.The rst of the time decaf tea.

And yes, Ive been cutting out material and having a jolly good time. As for the coffee...Ive got one of those plunger things and I bought Gloria Jean coffee for it form Coles....Caramel. I could so go a slurpy though!!!!! Jed's bringing me one home.

well we went back to the pool this arvie and he did a lot better still clingy but towards the end he let me play around a bit and giggles galore :)
