Babies Born September 2006 #79

Hello lilmky.Welcome to the group.My girl ruby says only about 5-6 words.Not much more but she does chat in her funny growly voice.
Millana had a temp all night.It hovered round the 39.6 mark but as soon as panadol would wear off it would get higher.At one stage it was 40.6 and i ummed and arrhed bout going to ER but it was 345am and figured that situation wouldnt help if sick so i gave her one last dose and she woke up at 7am alot better.She has a chesty cough but her nose is clear.
Ruby was up between 12 and 3am also screaming and pulling at her ear and wouldnt want me to lie her down.Finally got her to sleep with a small dose of painstop as didnt know what else to do? she seems also fine except for a cough and runny nose.They are both not eating but drinking.
ok better go and give tlc.

Caddie - my lilmky was like that last week turned out he had a mild ear infection, then we got really sick and ended up doing two hospital runs for a nebuliser (totally unrelated) Its not fun when both baby and mummy are ill. :(

my monkey only really says 'pussy' (for our cat) but does attempt to say other things but they all seem to come out sounding like 'pussy' lol :cryinglaugh: He does the usually mum, mumma, mummy, daddy, dada, oh and goes vrooom when he sees a motorbike or car! too cute.

Is anyone else's a fussy eater? monkey will only eat weetbix, custards and fruit, it is making getting him a balanced diet very difficult!

My brother/SIL had her baby this morning, sometime around 11.30am. She had a girl and named it Chloe. Thats all i know atm. But im so stoked hehe that this is the 5th baby in our family i have predicted the sex! I predicted my sister to have 2 boys then a girl, i predicted Jesse was a boy and predicted my SIL would have a girl! Being my dad is totally into spiritual stuff and believes he is in touch with spiritual guides etc, perhaps it runs in the family! hehe

Rach.. haha yep, read the above, i am phsycic didnt i tell you? ;) Hope the panadol and rest kick it in the butt soon.

Lilmky.. welcome to our mad house! Jesse doesnt say many words either, but babbles all the time. Most he says is sometimes heyoo, dadada, maaaaaaamm (when hes whinging typical!) and bubbubub. Sometimes it sounds like he's mimicking words we say but nothing proper.

Caddie.. oh dear all these sick babies.. hope Ruby gets a better nights sleep tonight.

I'm a bit like that kelly I was reading some old emails the other day and it was one of my first after I foudn out I was pg with Katy and one from when I found out about Jack and in both I refer to the baby as the correct sex, I normally know what people are having the only time I get it worng is if I really want them to have a specific sex :lol: like my friend she had 3 boys and I kept thinking boy but saying girl, deep down I knew it would be a boy though :redface:

well my boy has had no temps today but also doens't want anything except water, I thought he did so well this morning eating his breakie but stuff all since, even milk is a no go, but he has finished a 375ml sipper of water and about 1/4 of a new one, so I suppose that is good, he is asleep so I think I may join him for a few

Went to a tupperware party last night, gee I love tupperware! Haha. I booked in my own party, and it wasn't even an accident this time, I really wanted a party!

Haha i know what you mean Rach. Just received a photo of my new niece. Haha and they said she is 6lb 15oz. The reason i laugh is they all said it would be a big baby because my brother is tall and i said nah not necessarily. I didnt think she would have one as big as my boofhead Jesse. Heh heh..

Jack is driving me batty he slept for a bit over a hour managed to get him to have a bottle, but he is just whining :(

Nina is all good. No more sicknesses, thank god. A girlfriends little boy has the same thing Nina had, so now it's their turn to have an awful time with it. Lets hope he gets better quickly.

Jesse all sick poor little bumpkin.. sweating, though he doesnt feel like much of a temperature, coughing, runny nose. He seems to be scratching the back of his head though and what looks like a heat rash. Maybe scratching from sweating? I havent changed his shampoo or anything. Only thing im thinking, maybe there was more than normal amount of chlorine in the pool on Wednesday. If its not better by morning ill take him to the doctor.

I love Greenkids Meg, and so does Anna. They're pocket nappies, so you'll need to boost/stuff them with something, but that's good cos it means they'll dry quicker and are as absorbent as you make them. They're a one-size too.

I think I might see if I have enough pineapple for pineapple doughnuts...

They were delish and soooo easy girls! I've still got some batter in the fridge, so might have some more tomorrow. It's seriously easy, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered, 1 tin crushed pineapple (I had slices, so I just processed them for a sec), one cup s/r flour and one egg. I *might* have added some sugar to the batter to taste...but it's not necessary since I covered em in cinnamon sugar after too. I just put a soup spoon at a time in the oil, so they're pretty small and filling, so I don't think you'd get too fat on them!

I have so much cleaning to do tomorrow...scary.

Last night was the crappiest nights sleep ever. I was up and down with contractions and needing to pee. I think I'll be napping when J does this arvo. Speaking of J, he stinks so I might change him then pop him in his room to play while I shower.

Id like to know what happened to our nice warm weather here. Trust it to rain for the WHOLE long weekend, esp when we need to start packing and cleaning the house.

I am a bit peeved, as I like to talk really openly on here without having to worry about friends needing to know.

Ahh poo bum wee Meg! My mum comes on here (hi mum! Haha) only verrry rarely though, and she's like 'if you ever want me to stop just tell me'. I'm like, I don't care, but if I say something that hurts your feelings don't get too grumpy!

Meg, $18's a good price, depending on condition of course, but with the bamboo booster, that seems quite good! They retail for about $23-24 without insert, you can look on the site if you want!
Oh, and I use a wetbag, which is a bag lined with waterproof stuff and has a zipper. If I can't find one of the wetbags, I'll just use a diaper sack, but be CAREFUL you don't accidentally throw your nappy out!

Had the ultrasound this afternoon, and all went really well. Bubby is very lazy though! Heath and I have a very strong feeling that it's a boy. We'll see in 8 weeks time.
maz - chrissy popped in yesterday to wish me luck with my u/s (in the belly group) but said she's still got m/s. Hopefully it's not too bad for her. How are you going? I hope Vy gets better soon.

Laurin - didnt get any sleep but thats ok, its a 4 day weekend so DH is home to let me rest up. Spent all day with a friend who's partner has decided out of the blue to split up with her.

OMG OMG - This kid had better get his butt out of Hotel Mum by my EDD because I am not missing Bon Jovi in concert for anything. I have been waiting YEARS for him to tour again and I dont care how much it costs, I will be there with bells on. OMG this has made my day lol Jan 21st will be the best day of my life - esp if he agree's to marry me :cryinglaugh:

Vixstar.. i get most of my scrapbooking stuff of ebay or from spotlight or Lindcraft. Ive found ebay the cheapest, but can get some good specials from Spotlight.

Eh maaaaaaaaaaybe Nelle, but I felt great after having Jett so I reckon this time I could seriously go to a concert right after giving birth :lol: Plus Im being induced early soooo Rips will be atleast a week old by then. I just cant miss my one and only true love singing to me................Might rent a hotel room nearby and get my sister to mind Jett and bub while Im there but be close by so Im not travelling ages to get home.

Oh Kell that shirt rocks, where'd you get it? Im getting a Fall Out Boy band tshirt made for Jett because he loves them so much lol Hey we can meet up at the concert! I have never seen them before, was too young last time and I vowed that one day I would do it. I just knew that it would be when I was either heavily pregnant or have a newborn but eh that isnt going to stop me! When is the pre sale? Have you heard how much the tix are?

Oh and on a good note, I scored a free electric breastpump today from a lovely friend who used it twice. Im so excited at the idea of giving BF another go, but still having the flexibility of time out if I need it (like when my personal trainer comes to make me skinny again ;) )

First Bon Jovi concert i went to was Keep The Faith which i went to the first and last concerts. Prior to that i was too young :( Then saw them at Eastern Creek and then at Rumba.. also saw Richie's Undiscover Soul solo tour at Selina's in Coogee and then met him on the Kerrianne Midday Show (have video evidence still hehe). Its a lonnnnnng story how my girlfriend and i got tickets to the Kerrianne Show as it was booked out by the senior sits! But lets just say i had just had an "operation" and the Hospital had only let me out for the day. Lmao.. i was treated like royalty! haha.. the things you do to meet your Idol!!!! Yes! We will have to meet up!!

i am alive just feeling pretty ill, we are having huge family dramas atm, with craigs kids telling there mother all sorts of lies about me, my kids and craig, and she wont let them come here again, it all came to a head last night with craig accusing my daughter of all the **** his son has been telling him,( complete lies) so my 14 year old slashed her wrists and as she said "she has to harm herself"

i am just so over this atm.......
