kel - I hear you on the rubella booster. I'll need another booster after having this bubba. But I'll make sure I get it done straight after the birth, instead of what happened this year.

Maz.. nah not m/s, its the flu. Its about the 100000th time ive had it this year!

Belle.. yeh its pretty big. But you can see who the regulars are. I think a few will drop off as time goes. I know it was hard to keep up myself when i was pregnant and working.

Meg.. no no, i mean Down Syndrom testing for this bubs. Poor James, i know what hes going through! Its this stupid weather changing every 5 seconds!

Jodi.. oh really.. must just be something in us that doesnt like holding it. My sister was the same. Ill be getting it straight away as well this time!

Have my hospital book in appointment this arvo at 3.15pm. All that interesting stuff.

So nice to hear from you. I hope that you are feeling much more settled in NZ. No rush on the PM. It is 4 months till we go to London anyway!!!
James is still a cranky little so and so with his cold. He is giving me no end of grief. Is anyone else's kids ULTRA clingy? All he seems to do is follow me around clinging to my legs wanting to be picked up!!

Anyway I am off to my thyroid doctor this arvo to discuss the surgery. I am thinking of putting it off for the moment. As much as the thyroid bothers me, I have so much on the first half of next year. We have 7 weddings, plus a couple of births as well as going to London. And who knows... by the second half of next year I might be pregnant!!!

another quick hello we are off to agnes this arvie till the 16th then have to go see RE on 18th in rocky then back to Agnes on 21st till 1st Jan so probably wont get much of a chance to get on much before the new year

meg...caity has been extremely clingy as well drives me up the wall, i am thinking about putting her into daycare 1 day a week just for a break, and it will be good for her as well.

......must take after me :)
and i have to go to the EXCELLANCE assembly next week as now she is getting ACADEMIC awards as well......well she certainly didnt get that from me;)

Just a quicki from me.. Hope that everyone is well.. i have been lurking but have not had a chance to read all the posts! as usual!

Well this week my part time started, i have had so much fun spending time with the kids.. Olivia and I made all the xmas tree decorations, paper chains, some clitter on red cardboard shapes and a bit of fishing wire and the tree looks amazing! a totally kids proof tree for Mr Alexander who eats everything..

I am seeing a GYNO next Thursday so i can get an IUD .. yep thats right no more bubbas for me.. DH wanted to get the Snip and a Tattoo for xmas ! I tolf him no for both and that id get an IUD instead! Then if and when we decide that we might have another child we can get it takedn out.

Ruby can be very clingy then other times like at playgroup today she was like a headless chook.Running around screaming! I think it was the party food and now shes crashed!
Her molars are peaking through but it looks like shes missed one in the middle? I suppose they come when the come!

Df had day off today and decided it was big clean up day! :( I'm not a fan of cleaning, sometimes I think I decend from royalty or something cause I always feel I'm above scrubbing toilets! Lol. Anyway at least the place looks really good.

Hey guys just a check in!

Had my 34+1wk OB appointment today. Im seeing him weekly now because it wont be long til bub joins us. Everything looks great - had another ultrasound and fluid is ok, Ripley is quite the chubber though even his arms are chubby (he had them crossed over his face) He'll be a decent size even if he comes in the next week or so which is good. He's 3/5 engaged so only 2 more stations and we're at lift off position. OB checked my cervix and its midline position (so half way to birth time!) and as soft as it can get without dialating. So far still closed which is good because I want another 2 weeks of baking time. I go off my meds just before christmas and then its all systems go. Ive decided after my next appointment that the no-sex-no-walking ban is off and I will try and induced natural labour so I can skip my induction @ 38wks. Ob doesnt think I'll make it to 38wks but we'll try for bubs sake, he commended me on what a good job Ive done keeping him in there as if I hadnt tried to take it easy/followed his advice bub would have been born weeks ago. So all in all a good appointment.

My Thyroid appt went well. I told him that I really don't want the surgery. He said that it is not urgent, as long as we keep a close eye on it. So I have to have ultrasounds every few months, but that's about it for the moment.

Yay for a good appointment Meg! Btw I just love your ticker pic, James is so grown up now!

He really is a little man. Not walking yet tho, so I have in under a little bit of control!!!

AnnaT- Glad to hear everything is going well with Ripley. Not much longer now til he can come along and hopefully all the drama will be forgotten. You can bring it up to him at his 21st.

Meg- Thats good the surgeon doesn't think its urgent. Make sure you go for those regular scans.

Well we took Ash to see santa today and she was totally freaked by him. How did you other girls get your little ones to have a photo? Ash is usually not one to be scared of people, must be the beard. While we were waiting she runs and chats and laughs at everyone, soon as we got her near santa she got so upset and clingy, even if I held her and sat next to santa she was still really upset, she had to be well away from him. So I'm a bit dissapointed I didn't get my santa pics.

Shell.. i had to be in Jesse's Santa photo. He was the same as Ash even sitting on my lap.. didnt want a bar of it.. until they broke out the bubbles. You know, the bubbles you blow. And that kept him still enough, then with everyone cheering, we got a slight smile out of him. Not looking at the camera but better than him screaming. Does Ash like bubbles? Maybe ask if they have any when you get there?

Well i had another migrain last night..
I dropped DH off at his work christmas party and my right hand started to go numb. Then by the time i got home, which wasnt far, my arm and right cheek were both numb. Got inside.. no panadol only nurophen plus or baby panadol aahhhh.. well the baby panadol had to do.. OMG that stuff taste absolutely terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But i doubt the amount i took would even effect anything.. Then my vision went.. i sculled a heap of water hoping that would help.. lay on the couch while Jesse played.. headache came on... ahhhh painnnn.. so just lay there.. got his bottle and put him to bed.. lay back down.. got up and thought id try and type it out on BB asking if it will effect bubs.. but it was just sensless jargon (usually with my migrains when i try and talk to just comes out in a muddle and makes no sense what so ever. So i waited a while and about an hour later i could talk at least again. So i just lay on the couch until i had to go pick up DH.
I never got one migrain during my whole pregnancy with Jesse. Since ive been pregnant ive had 2.. one at 3 weeks this one at 7 weeks.. both times a week before AF wouldve been due.. as i had prior to being UTD.
Have stocked up on panadol today but need to find something stronger from the doctor.

DH and FIL went and picked up Jesse's play gym this morning. Its in our dining area. Hes still a little small for it but is very interested. It has a swing and a slippery dip.

Anyways.. gonna rest for 5 minutes before dinner/bath starts.

Sounds weird kell that your face would go numb with a migraine,have you thought of the condition nuralgia.My dh nan had it and it seems very familiar.Just a thought.

James LOVED Santa! He even wanted to give him a kiss. He liked his beard, and just beamed at everyone!

Not much news today. was a lovely day so we went and had a "picnic at hanging rock." (Just like the book) The Christmas festival was on, and it was great.

Not much happening here.Went to a scrapbook shop and bought more stuff.lol and came home and made homemade pizza. Everyone is asleep at 8pm except little ol me so im going to dig my book out and chill.
Tommorow we have the playgroup party and a bday party for millanas friend. Hope the kids behave with such a fun filled day.

Caddie.. thanks hun.. i had a look and nuralgia seems to be sharp, burning ichie pains that last under 2 minutes.. not kinda what i had. I just did a bit of a search and it looks the be that my migraines are called Aura Migrains.. as i lose my vision, get jibberish speach and numbness which all are the symptoms of this. Im trying to find any treatment for it but nowhere seems to have any.

Not much been happening here. Started my xmas shopping, finally! Better late than never. My sil does the santa photography at Myer, so I'm taking Nina there a little later. She's already been to one santa at another shopping centre, but I didn't like the photo, plus my sil gives me the whole package and I don't have to pay for anything. Bonus! I can send xmas cards out with Nina and Santa on the front.
Weird thing happened yesterday, Nina had scrambled eggs for brekkie with my mum while I was at yoga, and she ended up with vomiting and diareah. She's had egg plenty of times before and it hasn't been a problem. Not sure why she would react this time though???

Ahh migrains. I am a regular sufferer here, although they eased off to none while preggers. With me, my eyes go blotchy, then about an hour later I get a searing headache and vomit. After I am sick, it completely goes away. I am usually a little tired, but that's about all. It is the most terrible feeling though.

I hope maz and Kell don't get any more migrains!.

I am starting to get really anxious and depressed. I am having a mini meltdown at the moment. I am stopping my mothers group at the moment because they make me feel worse. they are so competative. James is the only one not walking, and they make me feel terrible - like there is something wrong with him. I swear I am gonna shoot the next person who asks me if he is walking. It is starting to do my head in, as it seems like it is the first thing everyone asks me. So I am not feeling very comfortable being around other little one's at the moment. In the long- run it is James that misses out, but I just can't take it......

Kell - I had the same with Vy but not the boys...its a girl thing I tell ya ;)
Shell - we just took Vy to see Santa at harvey Norman and she screamed. the photographer told us the best pic was the one were the boys were smiling and she had her head turned. I pciked the one were both boys are happy and vy is screaming...pmsl...it has to be a 21st pic for sure.

Meg - honey big hugs...thats why i never went to mothers group....its ment to be supportive not a stupid my child is better then yourse. our kids all do things at different ages...$hit Wilhelm didnt crawl until he was 14 months old and didnt walk until he was 18 months. tell them to bugger off with their cr@p. James is a super gorgeous guy honey and he will do what he wants when he wants. Dont you dare listen to a dame word those banchies say!
