Arte, thanks for your questions, trust me I've been over and over it in my head - I don't think there's any easy solution. I think what happened was she got out of her usual pattern when the teething started and hasn't worked out how to get back to it.
No, it started before solids so I know it's not that.
I don't think it's wind cos she's not arching/drawing her legs up. She actually keeps herself awake either fiddling with her fingers (I've tried giving her a little toy to fiddle with that works, sometimes) or she tosses her head back and forth from side to side. Last night she was soundly asleep, I stayed by the cot to make sure she was in a deep sleep, she then woke up at the barely audible sound of my bum easing off the stool (WTF??)
Definitely no change in diet, if anything it's been pretty constant from before then. You would expect other signs of upset, like vomiting, rashes, wind, etc.
She is swaddled, when her hands get out that's when the fiddling fingers start. I've tried putting her in half unswaddled and that didn't work at all
Yep was doing it before we moved her into her own room. That's why we moved her because we thought it might be our lights/movement/noises setting her off. The funny thing is she's quite happy in there during the daytime and will sleep well and wake up happy. No pattern at all. :(
Sorry everyone I feel like I'm consuming this thread with my dramas. So sorry everyone.
Leanne I hope you are feeling better soon. I need ot make an appt for my flu shot because I really couldn't cope with getting sick.
