Hi ladies,

Hope you are all well.
JG Good to hear from you, glad everything's well with you.
Ok, baby niece is most definitely in 0s. Sadly this means she won't be getting many things in the parcel as most of our 0s are deeeeeep winter (they are in QLD) and many of the 1s don't fit E yet!!!
AFM: Well it looks like chocolate was the culprit. But it's a double header. Fatty liver AND gallstones. Will need to see a specialist after we move and likely to need gall bladder removed. OMG I am too young for this! I would feel better if I felt like I understood WHY at this time in my life this has happened in my body (mind-body connection). On the positive side today a met a very inspiring lady who started at my gym weighing 106 kg and lost 38 kg in one year. She could barely make it around the circuit once when she started. She's fighting fit and fantastic now and about to turn 50.
Cally - Sorry to hear about the first accident at daycare. These things happen though and that was nice of you to give the carer a hug. It makes all the difference when you have carers that genuinely care for your child doesnt it?
Trillian - Oh gosh now I'm wondering how much is too much food for a toddler? I've had days where M has had a bit bowl of rice & veges for tea with yoghurt for desert. Hmm I constantly worry about weight as M is on the chubby side. Isnt that strange I wonder why you had no milk with Alister, could they give you an explanation? I wouldnt hesitate with the formula either if I was in your situation.
MD - Well I'm devestated to hear that my second lover chocolate is the culprit. I am a huge choccy lover, maybe I should be cutting down? When are you moving and are you moving to NZ?
Leemar - LOL at the Jlo butt, M has one too. Nothing wrong with a bit of junk in the trunk hey!? I am envious of your US holiday, what an awesome time you guys will have.
Noni - Oooh hows the wii going? They are very popular atm! I know what you mean about feeling feral without a hair straightner, I use my ghd every day. My hair hates me for it though. I think next time around, having more experience, breastfeeding should be alot easier. So next time around we should be fine! How is the ttc coming along?
Rainy - So come one has he popped the big q yet? I wonder if he was planning on doing it on your bday but then seeing as you both had a bad day, he changed his mind?
Just went to visit a friend who has a 13 wk old bub. She is so uptight about keeping her house spotless and her furniture gleaming. Poor M got told off a few times from her for playing with things and making a 'mess', and the whole time I felt uneasy and had to keep a constant eye on M. I cant wait to see how she goes when her DS starts crawling, then walking & destroying the house lol.
hi girls
hayley- ikwym about being uncomfortable at other peoples' spotless houses. it's really hard to control them now isn't it? L is just so destructive.
maybe he was planning to do it on my bday but then we had a fight, idk?
md- bad news about gallbladder, sorry about that....
sherie- hopefully my milk will come in quicker this time. tbh though, i really think that L will sef-wean before ds2 comes along. he hasn't had a bf today at all. he seems to be becoming less and less interested each day.
it's weird how your milk just never came in, isn't it?
well it seems i've got a bit of a cold atm, also mixed with some pretty severe hayfever! ggggrrr, not good...and the worst part is that L is obsessed with tissues, so he pulls about 100 out of the box and follows me around pulling them out of my hand and ripping them up and laughing...i'm too sick to deal with the tissue monster!
Ok, so again its taken me forever to read through 5 pages so this will be a very basic one where I am going to have to skip some people. Not by choice just lack of brain function. :wall:
Rainy - yep...you have been norti. No Santa for you!:nahnah: Fingers crossed on a wonderful proposal and quickly too
Leanne - Holy Moly on the cost of those Havianas. Local shop here does them for $15 so I don't feel as guilty about Sarah having a pair in nearly each colour. (Well she does need her shoes to match her outfit ) Have you rang the centre to see if they've had anything handed in?
MD - Bugger on the gallstones and fatty liver. Don't blame the chocolate...you'll give my DH another reason for pay me out for eating too much.
Sherie - Glad that you are feeling better after all the meds your on. Hopefully, it'll all clear up quickly and let you get back to drug free as soon as you can.
Noni - Glad you had a Wii-tastic birthday!
Sorry to everyone else I've missed. Very slack bellybuddy here.
AFM - S is going well...rash is looking heaps better but still not 100%. Tooth number 12 (molar) is trying to finally bust its way through and geez...it's really letting us know about it. And thats about it...whoopee...how exciting am I?!
Oh, I uploaded some videos of Sarah to you tube and have put the link in my facebook profile. If you want to watch them then you may need to turn your monitor on its side. Gotta figure out how to turn them. They were filmed on my mobile and I thought I was filming them right but when I put them on the computer it went pear shaped. You could understand the first few maybe but then stupid me kept forgetting hence the reason most of the others are sideways also. :wall:
I've got a wicked headache and blurry vision so off to bed to try to get myself right. night night
Hi everyone!!
Thought i'd jump on quickly and say hi. I'm having trouble keeping up at the moment. Heaps to do in the small amount of time that Hannah sleeps each day.
I haven't read everything, but noticed MM's comment about your friend telling M off. That's terrible. She's only a little cherub. Is she someone that you visit often?
anyway, i'll try to catch up with you all tomorrow.
have a good sleep :)
MM I can already tell you how that story is going to end. You'll stop visiting her until she has her own nervous breakdown and the entire house turns into a bombsite and THEN she will 'get it'. Some ppl have no idea that children are more important than things!! BTW we are moving over christmas and we are going to SA (where my family is) but I think i'd be just as happy if it was NZ. Seems like a mighty fine place to live. No snakes and a lot more winter than here. :)
Rainy, I soooo know what you mean about the tissue monster. E is into ripping EVERYTHING at the moment, bit of a problem yesterday as I had the fan on and bits of paperwork i was trying ot sort kept falling off the table. Nothing that a bit of sticky won't fix! Are you Fessing? (might help with the hayfever side of things).
Kate LOL at sideways videos...trippy.
no i haven't been fessing- been taking polaramine though and they seem to do the trick.
i'm at my dad's and lewis has just spread vegemite scroll from one end of the house to the other.....ahhhhh......not my problem he he he
Rainy - Haha oh no someones in trouble...
Jazmum - What happened with Z's orientation? This is the friend who never wanted kids then wound up pregnant and was pretty much depressed about it for her whole pregnancy. Even when I saw her yesterday she said she loves him to bits but misses her old life and doesnt really know what to do with him. She has no hesitation in telling other people's children off lol. She isnt very maternal, but she's a great girl. She will soon see how hard it is to contain them at this age.
MD - I know what you mean about my friend. I've just been keeping in touch because she really is a great girl and we are a bit worried about her going down the pnd track as well. She just isnt the mothering type iykwim!
Kate - Hope the headache is gone?
Must run Maddie is getting bored and wants my attention :D
H, My guess is one day it will all just *click* for her and she'll stop being so anal about her house. Or, she wont stop being so anal and she will end up with a bugger of a kid because he's never been allowed to *live* in his house kwim? Don't worry about the food - I'm sure what you're giving M is nothing like what this child eats.
Kate, I hope the tooth comes through soon for her. LOL at her needing a pair to match her outfits. Paige's best friend is like that too - hair ribbons in every colour and shoes to match every outfit.
Hi Jaz and Cindy!
G, I always found swimming to be great for the hayfever if I couldn't take anything too strong for it - don't know why it works but it does. Re the feeding, even if he isn't feeding still by then, you'll know what to do this time anyway and your confidence will be greater as a whole anyway cause' you've BTDT.
M  for the diagnoses. Mum wasn't even 40 when she had hers out - I think she was only 34-35? Bummer about the chocolate though - you have me dreading what my hepatic test results were now LOL.
I've had a busy day - shearing again so I was at the IL's helping MIL cook. At least I wont have to cook much for dinner tonight cause we had a roast for lunch. Still tossing up whether to send Paige to Preschool tomorrow or not - she seems OK, but still has loads of mucous on her chest and coughing is a bit distressing for her sometimes cause she gags on the mucous. If I do send her I will only leave her for a few hours and then pick her up early. She's only had 1 day there this term and is missing her friends.
I brought a tupperware 7.8lt 'that's a bowl' off ebay last week and OMG it's brilliant!!! Perfect for doing double batches of biscuits.
It's DH's birthday tomorrow (34) and he's decided to bail out on us and have a night with his mates - one in particular who does a lot of FIFO work will be home and he wants to catch up with him over a few beers. So I don't have to plan much at all - not even the obligatory birthday bonk LMAO!!
Hi Girls,
MD- Sorry to hear about your liver and gallbladder:comfort: My DH had his Gall Bladder when he was 23. I hope you are ok.
Ok so I have now got the cold and feel like **** but am very excited cause on Sat we are taking the boys to a big monster truck world finals thing at the entertainment centre and they are just going to love it. I am just excited to see there faces. Oh and dont know if I told you all but another exciting thing for next year DH bought me tickets to see pink. I was really bummed when I missed her concert last year.
Sherie- your DH has a great birthday
Oh and just when I say Livi has 2 sleeps a day yesterday she decided that she
didnt want her afternoon nap. I had a very cranky girl last night.
Oh well better go..
hi girls!
wow just had to trawl through 4ish pages of chatter!! this is what happens when telstra gives you dodgy modems and they die! now we have 3 mobile broadband...so feeling very modern...still dont have a mobile phone, but hey, we are getting there LOL!
MM: that's great that you are keeping an eye on your friend. pnd can come in all kinds of disguises, so ppl can look happy and functional, but appearances can be deceiving (i was brilliant at hiding mine!).
Sherie: jealous about your tupperware! i have a lady calling me fairly often ATM to organise a party, but none of my friends are keen ($$ are turning them off) so am pretty bummed. but i guess i can just try to order directly from her.
MD: well re the diagnosis...at least you did it good and proper! but seriously, big hugs your way,. my friend felt such relief when hers were taken out, she was like a different person. fingerscrossed that you dont have to wait too long.
that baby is big! leila is a tiny bub, but she is still tripping the light fantastic in 00 to 0s... i *think* that she may be reaching 8.5kgs...
Kate: oh you poor thing! that headache sounds really nasty.
As for the BF, mine came in on the second night. i have to have a little giggle cause i reckon it came in so fast cause i went to a BF workshop and they showed us how to express our colostrum...i became addicted LOL! (hhmmm maybe that's why L was 2 weeks early! LOL!!!).
AFM: well same old same old here. L is doing great guns (although did a poo in our friends sandpit yesterday - they were doing nudie rudies in the backyard and i was too slow on the uptake...ooops! LOL!).
MD, bummer about the liver results - no one ever told me that chocolate can be bad for you!!! I wouldn't like to see the state of my poor innards.
Gracie, yip, I had GD. It was the bane of my existance. It was actually really horrible, I struggled to find low GI things that I could eat so had nil variety, was always hungry because I had to stick to allowed portion sizes and had to wait 2 hours after meals before I could eat again cos I had to test my blood sugar. I did keep it very well under control with diet and insulin though and W was an average 8 pounder. I recall that we were both hoping for natural births and I suspect that you were about as happy with yours as I was with mine? If I can keep my sugars as controlled as I did with W then next time I will refuse induction. It just gets so hard to fight against all the medical people, especially as a first timer. On the bright side, I was back to my pre-baby weight after 6 weeks (took another 5kgs to fit my pre-preg clothes though)
Trill, poor P, hope she is feeling better tomorrow
Cally, K sounds like she is loving daycare, must be a load off your mind
Last night W hadn't woken by the time we were going to bed so we slept in the spare bed to not wake him (hoping he would sleep through). I heard him crying a couple of hours after we went to bed and got up to go to him and realised the crying was coming from the wrong end of the house - poor thing must have climbed out of bed and gone searching for me! I found him walking through the kitchen sobbing. Hope he wasn't calling to me for too long before I heard him.
Went out on the boat today, W has so much fun on the beach. We got him some little croc's shoes (stole the idea off Ozstar - cute pics BTW), they are great for playing in water and sand.
OK well maybe i have been overstating the chocolate thing. It's actually more prolly because I'm a fattie. BUT I've been a fattie for a long time and never a sign of anything like this so I suspect it's a combination of getting older, the upheaval of pg, and all the medication I chewed my way through for a few months there.
They don't even properly know what causes gallstones but apparently there are 4 Fs - Fat, Fertile, Female and Forty (or thereabouts). So Trill your mum would've been in the ideal demographic (like me). I also read they are pretty common after pg and childbirth. Anyway I really need to get off my own case and stop blaming myself and just concentrate on the healthy lifestyle that's going it better.
Speaking of which, has anyone seen the Spring Valley Sensible ads? I saw one yesterday and cracked right up because the little dude looks just like a liver. PMSL
Arte - poor W walking around the house! I'm sure he wasn't up for very long before you heard him!
Clare LOL at poo in sandpit. The first of many such moments I'm sure.
arte- the gd thing sounds bad! i've gotta do my test for that in a few weeks, fingers crossed i don't have it. did they induce you early because they thought he was going to be big? sorry to ask so many questions, it's just that i've got a few decisions to make this time. yes, i did want a natural birth but i'm not angry with myself for not having one in the end considering the particular circumstances iykwim?
leanne- pink concert sounds great, you lucky duck.
sherie- it's weird cos i did actualy go swimming yesterday morning and my hayfever was good all day until about 5pm. weird!?yes i'm really hoping bfing is better cos i've done it before. fingers crossed.
MD- Gall stones are no fun for anyone, and you are right, don't beat yourself up about it. At least you have an answer and can focus on that healthy lifestyle you are talking about. ;) That liver of yours will be tip top in no time!
R- Lu has a fever and conjunctivitis today, i seriously hope she wasn't contagious yesterday. a million apologies if L is sick. :(
Arte- Poor Little W, thought he lost his family!
Leanne- i am very jelous of your pink tickets. so much 'tude', love it. Wish i was going!
Trill- i bet he'll be back in the wee hours asking for his birthday bonk!
Poor Lu has the gunkiest eyes, tried squirting a bit of BM in them, but not sure how effective it was! Perhaps i should have hand expressed and not just aimed. Got a Dr's app in the morning. She has a temp in the 39's and is miserable, poor little tyke.
omg ange! i am freaking out now, is she ok??
when did she start getting sick?
Well, my headache is persisting. I really must go to optometrist to get my eyes checked. I'm thinking its an eye strain headache.
Sarah face planted on the concrete today and has the biggest fat lip ever! She has split the front of her top lip as well as two splits inside her top lip. She had blood spurting everywhere...even out her nose. :o I was so upset that I didn't catch her in time. I know that its to be expected and normally I don't stress over her bumps etc but OMG this one was horrendous. She calmed down fairly well especially with a boobie treat. Not really due for one but she didn't say no (not that she could have gotten any words around the swelling )
I'm off to bed early again tonight...hurts too much keeping my eyes open. I wonder if its like a migraine. Never had one before so have no idea...I know light sensitivity is one sympton and I'm definately squinting through the lights. Although, I'm coping with looking at the computer monitor...not great but dealing with it.
Anyhoo, enough pity me...hope we all have great nights!!
Don't freak out! She's ok. Prob just got a virus, but i'm taking her to Dr's to get onto the conjunctivitis. When they have a snotty nose, if they rub it in their eye they can get conjunctivitis, so my friend told me. So hopefully she got snotty and rubbed her eyes after seeing you guys! lol (It is highly contageous though. :o)
Eye looked like it had a little sleep in it this am, and by lunch there was a litle goop in one eye, by dinner, goop was in both eyes, all through eye lashes and eyes were red. Temp started around lunch time, was 39.5 at 5pm.
Really though, it is nothing too serious, just a bit of snot out of control. moral of the story: don't let the littleman rub snot in his eyes!
are you sure it wasn't just sauce and ice cream in her eyes?
 probably! But then i think the ice-cream bowl licker would have it too!
omg ladies i cant keep up!!!
just wanted to jump on and give biiig hugs to you MD.. my friend is 21 and had 9 gallstones removed about 2mths after her second baby so dont feel bad :)
anyways gotta go as its late ill try and jump on tmw as i have a baby free day :)
Awww thanks Noni. Looking forward to hearing how much you're loving your Wiii!
Hi lovely ladies..........I so wish I had more time to join in the fun here.
MD - Hope you are able to feel better soon. - what will they do, surgery soonish ?? Sounds painful dear.
Falguni - Hope Lu's eye get better quickly, does it seem to be bothering her much ?
My brain is not working (yes I know AGAIN) so that's all the personals I can muster.
We are heading up north this afternoon after we collect Georgia from school. She was 6 during the week so headed to Port for a party tomorrow with the dozen cousins
Made the bestest cupcakes last night, with metallic pink and purple papers and going to decorate them with fondue butterflies and hearts tomorrow. She'll have a cupcake tower as her b'day cake - much easier to transport 2.5 hrs .
Hope you all have a great weekend and catch you next week xx xx
Ange - Hope Lu is better today? You didnt go swimming did you, because I know conjunctivitis can be spread in the swimming pool (according to the swim school instructor anyway!).
Rainy - How did L go, hope he isnt coming down with a bug too.
Noni - What did you do on your baby free day? Thats great that your mum has her set days.
JG - The cupcake tower sounds like a good idea, enjoy!
Kate - Poor S, does she look bruised and battered today? I'd be freaking out with all that blood. M had a rough fall yesterday as well on the bitumen at the end of the driveway. Has a huge graze/bruise on her forehead.
Arte - Awww thats so cute that W got lost looking for you at night. The croc shoes are great for kids. We have a pair somewhere from grandma, but they are too big atm.
Trillian - Lol I got out of the birthday bonk this year as well, only because he wasnt feeling well haha.
Leemar - I am going to Pink too. How exciting, I love her! Do you like her new song? I always crank it up loud when it comes on the radio. I need to get her new cd.
Clare - LOL at the suprise in the sandpit!!!!!
Little M has got a cold at the moment, we've both had poor sleep over the past couple of nights. She just wakes up coughing & coughing and her nose is driving her nuts. Hate it when she is sick, I feel helpless!
hey everyone,
gosh i have so much cleaning to do its crazy!!! having a nutrimetics party tonight lol kinda agreed to it and am now omg what did i do -ing lol ahhh well...
everythings going pretty well here, asha is absolutely obsessed with in the night garden, she actually said "daisy" this morning when it was on for upsy daisy lol.. she has a few of the toys and always brings them to me so ill sing the song that goes with them..
ohhh the wii is really good for anyone that wants one definately get it!! the main thing i play is wii fit and ive lost like 700g in 3 days just coz i play it so much lol i didnt even cut out takeaway or chockie biccies lol.. so pretty happy with that!! i also managed to beat dp at bowling and boxing a few times in the sport games which are alot of fun too!!
mm - i spend my baby free days just sitting around mostly lol i so make a point to do some of the cleaning thats harder to do with little miss around but i try to spend most the day just relaxing watching crappy tv and now ofc playing wii!! sorry to hear m has a cold :( hope it clears up asap!!
jg - that cupcake tree sounds great!! make sure u post some pics when its all together!! enjoy the party :)
kate - hows sara doing today? ashas had a few horrible ones with blood and swelling too.. biiig hugs i know its a bit distressing when they bleed!!
anyways hello to everyone else better leave it here as i really needa get cleaning!!
mwah!!!
Hi Girls,
MM- Yep I love Pink. I hope M gets better soon and you both get some sleep tonight:hug:
Noni- When you finish doing your cleaning can you come to my house.
JG- hope you see some pics of the cupcakes they sound yummy.
Kate- hope S is ok
Noni - glad you are enjoying the Wii
MM - Hope Mads feels better soon, it's awful when they are sick. K has a bit of a cold at the moment and I have everything crossed that it doesn't turn into something more.
Ange - how is Lu going? K's eyes are a bit gunky at the moment too, but they aren't red.
JG - Enjoy your weekend away, the cupcakes sound fab!!
MD - that's not good about the gallbladder - when are they going to take the stones out? Hae fun at the fete tomorrow.
Leemar - have fun with the monster trucks tomorrow, I'm sure the boys will love that!!
Last night DH was out at a school function and I stayed up late watching a trashy movie. So I was all relaxed and ready to just hop into bed - then had to deal with the pile of cat vomit in the bedroom doorway!! Not impressed. At least DH removed the frog that was next to the bed when he got home and I didn't have to deal with that too!
Well I am getting my hair done tomorrow and am looking forward to 3 hours of quiet time reading trashy magazines. Then I will meet DH and K at the cricket and we're going to go and play on the playground (the cricket field is next door to the primary school so there is heaps of things to play on)
Cally: eeeeeew cat vomit...nothin' like it huh? he he he!
Noni: hhmm maybe i should get one of those...do they help in preventing 'tuckshop arms'??? i have this fear that i may develop them LOL!.....
PP: please keep up the new bub chatter! i need to live vicariously through you! esp if you see robson!
darn it! need to go DH just arrived and 'needs' to use the internet.
BBL
Cally look on the bright side, at least you didn't find it with your foot! EEeeew! I forgot to ask how many hours you're working, fulltime? Enjoy your relaxy morning!!
Clare, what's tuckshop arms...Is that the The Flap???
Noni, I hope you enjoy your Nutrimetics thing, they have lots of nice fruity smelling things. :) Tell all your guests to spend lots so you can have some nice freebies.
Kate, how's S going? The blood is horrible. Good thing is it heals pretty quickly on the face. Good idea to go to the optometrist, that fixed my headaches one time. The other time is was an impacted wisdom tooth so get that checked next if the eyes aren't the problem.
Ange how is L going? Sometimes they get Junkyeyetis because the little tubes that run between the eye/ear/nasal passage are blocked from congestion and once they're blocked the bacteria can grow. DD1 often had Conjunct but it turned out at the drs that she had an ear or throat infection and the Conjunct was secondary to that. Agree though that limiting snot smearing is a good thing!! LOL
Leanne you could rock on with my Sis who is a total Pink NUT. hehe girl power.
MM hope M is feeling better and you get some sleep!
Thinking of Andie and wondering how you're getting on hun.
OK better go, xxx to all, have a great w/end ladies.
Rainy, it is just hospital policy to induce GD bubs at 38 weeks. I stretched it out a bit longer but they weren't very keen on me going to my due date with the high amount of insulin I was on. Next time I will fight more, I guess my birth wasn't as bad as some but I still have quite a few regrets.
Clare, we must have been posting at the same time last night, LOL about the sandpit poo!
MD, 'tuckshop arms' are the flabby upper arms that tuckshop ladies always seem to have lol, made famous by the meany judge from Australian Idol when he told a contestant to do something about her tuckshop lady arms.
Sorry, not much time for personals tonight. It is so friggin hot here, my feet are swelling and I am wishing for aircon. I just can't believe it, it is nearly as hot and muggy as Brisbane!!
A cute thing - W has learned to dip food in sauce. Last night he was dunking all his dinner in a little bit of tomato sauce.
Arte - how cute is that!! We had a lovely change come through here a few hours ago and the house has cooled down nicely after a stinking hot day. Hope you get one soon.
MD - full time for me is 35 hours a week. Tend to do a bit more than that though, which just goes towards my flex time.
K has had two nights now where she has managed to feed most of her dinner to herself with a spoon. Still very messy, but she's pretty impressed with herself (so are we).
ooh Cally! so jealous!! spoons for Leila are still in the realm of food hurtling shenanigans.
Arte: yeah melbournes had few scorchers. i love it though...that said there was a cool change this afternoon....hhmmmm
MD: yeah, what arte said!! LOL!
leila had MAJOR accidents at kindy today...she fell off a pretty high ladder thingy and whacked her cheekbone. she now has a corker of a bruise and a swollen eye. we soo look like bad parents ATM! then as soon as we got home she face planted into the water meter and cut her gum. blood everywhere. the poor wee thing is in the wars ATM.
Clare - sounds like K's accident!! The black eye comes up really well after a couple of days, I've been trying to get photos but she keeps trying to grab the camera off me.
JG - Have a great weekend catching up with family and celebrating DDs birthday. Good luck with the cake...sounds yummo
Ange - Hope Lu is feeling better
MM - Poor Mad...hope she too is feeling better. I hate it when S is sick as well because there is nothing I can do for her (apart from meds if needed). I just want to take it away from her
Noni - Good luck with your nutrimetics party. I love the stuff...have got a great lady who always has these great specials so i am forever buying stuff. The latest catalogue has these really cute duck shaped bath bubble bottles (bit fo a mouthful) and I love the hearts and flowers scent as well. As for the Wiiiiiii, I am very jealous. I want to get one for the family (read ME) for christmas. Might keep me more active...I want the sports and fit one.
Cally - I second the finding the cat vomit with feet. My cat chucked on a lounge chair once and I had to feed Sarah in the middle of the night and didn't realise until I felt this warm, gooey sensation on my ass and this gross smell. I was not impressed. DH had to handle that one though...I had to feed Sarah haha. I even made him strip my pants bottoms off so they could go in the wash.
Hope you have a great mini holiday at the hairdressers. Nothing like a pamper session. I'm having my second two hour treatment that DH got me for my birthday next Wed...can't wait
MD - I've got no wisdom left in my mouth so can't be those teeth. They pulled them out 10 years ago or so to get some braces in.
Clare - Oh poor Leila...don't you hate seeing them all banged up? I always think that someone is going to think that I did it to her. I just keep reminding myself that they all do it and nothing can stop them from exploring.
Pink rocks! I saw her in concert last year.I had an ultrasound in the morning...found out I was having a girl...then rocked out to Pink that night. It was so good. Would love to go again next year...might have to hit DH up for tickets to that one. Surely she will be doing more than just 1 or 2 shows in Brissie. Last year she said it was just one and then did like 5-6 shows. Sold out shows at that.
Sarahs face is looking less swollen but the grazes on her lip has really come out. I've got one photo on fb and will try to get another today. She is so clumsy...does anyone think that it might pay to get her balance checked out at a doctors. She looks drunk and is constantly falling over. Poor thing
I've got a big meet up of Bundaberg mums in a park today. Should be good...quite a few mums and even more bubs. I think Sarah is going to have a big day. I even made mini chocolate crackles...I swear that they are healthy...they have rice in there somewhere ;)
Best be off...Sarah is done watching in the night garden and is wanting breakfast.
Kate: i reckon the unbalanced stuff is to do with the whacks to the head! this morning Leila has been very upset and falling over EVERYWHERE. so i am putting it down to a wee headache and that she hasnt twigged on that she needs to slow down. needless to say i have sent her and DH and the dog off for a walk...
had to have a giggle at your cat vomit story! i can so see it! LOL!
have fun at the catch-up!
Katie: yeah i second the photo taking. although i guess i should wait til tomorrow to get the full idea of the black eye. the poor thing it is all around her eye down to her cheekbone...she's not a happy camper ATM.
AFM: well things here are ok. L is a bit upset about her bruises (or rather the discomfort of them). she keeps poking it...
i just hope her mood improves in the next hour as we have to go and inspect some houses...her fav activity NOT! LOL! oh joy.
hey everyone,
nutrimetics party went well, except for the fact that my mum bought snacks with her and im still eating them lol ohhh well.. the lady was really nice and i agreed to recieve the specials catologue in the mail coz theres no obligation to buy anything and they do have some really nice stuff.. my mum came and told me to choose out a couple of things i want in my christmas pressies and i chose the hearts and flowers perfume and a texta like eyeliner, my friend and i got a 50 dollar voucher (it was a bridal party so worked kinda differently) so we split that coz we organised top have the party together i agreed to have it at our place and she agreed to be the test dummy for the makeup lol so for myself i just bought the moisturizer that u spray one coz when she sprayed it on me it was really nice n so quick too!! and i bought a 3 pack of nice looking soaps and two shower gels for chrissi presents to whoever i decide they go to.. i probably would have bought more but we are a bit tight atm.. after all this experience with catologueing tho when i recieve her catologue i know i will try and get atleast someone to put in an order lol and ill specifically go through her rather than the internet or whatever because she was nice and i now know what its like to be working on comission and not get many orders lol...

Well the meet up was weird...Supposed to start at 11am. The hostess didn't show until 11.20, then took off again. She then came back and stood off to the side chatting to the people she knew and not getting everyone involved. So we all just sort of did our own thing. Next thing I know it's 1pm and the bbq wasn't even on yet. So Sarah and I and a couple of other mums took off to maccas and then took kiddies home to bed. Too hot and so unorganised. Everytime I went looking for the host/organiser chick she was missing. Then to top it off, I just found out that one of the kids there (2 year old) went missing. Wondered off and was found crossing a bridge (water underneath type) about 500m away. OMG...WTF!!! Luckily she was walking past a bowls club and two little old biddies saw her and took her back to the club and called the police. Big excitement.
Anyhoo, off now to go for a walk.
Kate, that must have been scary for the mum!!
Noni, we had a Wii but it got stolen when we moved back. The stupid mover double hired our storage and didn't tell us that it was half full of someone elses junk, then couldn't fit all of our stuff in so put it god knows where and someone stole the Wii and games (and a few other things). It was fun while we had it though, DH put in a mod chip so we could download games for it too.
Cally, well done K for the spoon eating!
Ange, how are L's eyes today
Kate - What a mess, such a shame! Whoa how scary that the 2 yr old got that far. Did mum even notice? That would be my worst nightmare.
Arte - Thats terrible, they should have replaced your wii!
Noni - Glad the nutrimetics party went well. They are always fun arent they!
Sounds like they are all at the accident prone age at the moment!!
I tell ya what, if they say the age of two is hard work I am really not looking forward to it, because frankly Miss M is being such a cow lately! She chucks tanties like no other, DP and I are so shocked lol. Everywhere we go, she wants to walk. So to avoid a tanty we put her down, but she takes off! I know its just an age thing but OMG she is FULL ON. DP has just gone out to buy me a boost juice & the lady gaga cd to keep me happy because I've had such a crazy day with her. Please tell me I am not alone and I dont have a difficult little girl on my hands lol!
I must ad, she is into EVERYTHING!!! Its actually kind of funny because she knows she cant go into certain cupboards etc and she looks at me with a sly grin as she is doing it because she knows....little monkey or what! They arent silly are they?!
