can i just say that when that bananna shortage was on i was actually teaching year 10 economics and it was the absolute best teaching tool to explain how demand/supply affect price. the kids were all referring to banannas in their end of year exam LOL
when it said to draw a diagram to help explain your answer, one of them drew a bananna and coloured it yellow. i am such a good teacher!
