pap---yeah....the only problem with a resale value like that is that i told dh that the pram cost $700 brand new....so how am i gonna explain that some idiot on ebay wants to give me more than what i paid for it? oh well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it LOL

art- jimmy has discovered a new dislike for his cot at night time too now...i've just accepted that my bed will not be free of kids for at least another year....

Ginger you are classic!! That is SO funny! You could sell it in a few yrs and tell him it is now a collectors item... you really make me laugh!

yeah, i already started wording him up a few weeks back- telling him they had increased heaps in price lately so we were really lucky to get it for such a bargain price. i made up something about exports from nz costing more now. one day i'm gonna get so busted!

PP - re J's neck - you can get a referral to a pediatric physio - they will assess & give you some stretches, also put him down in bed so that he has to use his non-favoured side to look at you as you approach, hang toys on that side too. They told me it gets more noticeable around the age when they start sitting up etc because the neck muscles are stronger, so you'll probably notice it more but it doesn't mean it's more serious now, kwim? Try not to fret, you can always keep ringing the osteo and ask if they have a cancellation list.

BTW I think your party menu sounds great - I think the simple ones with a few nice things are better than when there's loads of food. Our menu will be similar but I'll have a few freezer-pastries instead of fish goujons (I don't know what a goujon is, tbh LOL). I'll also have a pot of hearty soup warmed incase any one is really hungry or needs something a bit more sustaining as we'll have champers etc as well.

Clare - so glad L was a litte champion with the travelling and sleeping etc. So pleased there was such a good turn out, it's an issue so close to many women's hearts, but because of the physical demands of pregnancy and early motherhood not as momen women are in a position to be politically active at this stage in their lives. Bet you're getting excited now the calendar page has turned and it's not much more than a month to go now until you move!!!

MM - yuck on the conjunctivitis that is not fun. Perhaps you should take a leaf out of MD's book and ride that Aquium hand sanitiser pump for a bit...hehe I never leave home without mine.

Arte - you sound as if you've reached that happily delirious state of sleep deprivation, do hope A gets the hang of night and day and the cot and everything soon. :hug:

AFM - feeling like a truck ran me over again... couldn't get Missy E into care today so DH stayed at home...lucky he did because she was up last night so he took her to the dr and it seems that the ear infection is back (no outward signs, fever, etc except for yuckky behaviour and interrupted sleep). So now I'm feeling guilty for not dragging her to the dr a few days ago when the coldy snot didn't stop. Bad mummy alert!!! Different ABs this time so I'll definitely take her back when this course is finished to check again.

Ginger - that could be tricky - just tell him one night when he's had a few to drink - that's always the best time I find ;)

Pap - that sounds like plenty of food for your party - and yummy too. I think the kids are all going to have a ball - you've got lots of great things for them to do. Have you got some bubbles - they're always a party hit.

LOL Jazah, that was the first party thing I bought!! Sounds like you need to shout yourself some luxurious bubbles - of both kinds - and head into the bath for a Jazah half-hour.

You know what Md - i'm one of those people who gets bored in the bath!!! (i know - what's wrong with me????) I get in , have a soak for about 5 minutes and then start twiddling my thumbs lol. ( i usually have to call for help to get out - as i become suctioned onto the bath !!!) I am having a glass of the other variety now though ;)

Hannah got a Dora bubble blower for her birthday - it automatically blows the bubbles - she loves it!!

Well you know you could always wait until the girls are in bed and take some company in with you ;).

Just a quick post to let you know that we have accepted the job in PNG!!! :o i am in shock, nervous, excited, scared, happy, sad all at once!

We wont move for about 3 months though, AND a condition of the employment was satellite internet, so don't worry, i'll still be here to annoy ya'll. :p

Thank goodness you'll still be on bb!!! Congratulations Ange. I can imagine you would be having a mixture of feelings. It will be exciting hearing about life in another country.

ginger - ur so funny!! i hope u dont get busted! i recently had to buy a twin pram, just couldnt get around with both of them without one, especially since i dont drive.. the one i bought was just the umbrella style tho and was only $215 hahaha im cheap!!
things are goin ok here, everythings been hectic, all the sicknesses im pretty sure i told u all.. Asha now has a throat infection after just getting over a tummy bug poor thing.. my friend went to stay with her dad so the kids can recover and stop passing germs back and forth and spreading them to us too.. tho dh and i have still caught it anyway...
William is up to 4.5kgs now believe it or not lol im actually worried he might be overeating now but i wrote another thread about it.. im pleased hes caught up tho, dr expected it to take much longer.. hes still quite small still fitting in 0000 except for bonds wondersuits and he will prob grow out of 0000 soon because of his length..
anyway not much else going on really.. hope everyones well mwah mwah

PP- OMG I loved my double Mountain buggy well worth the money I say... It was my pride and joy....the only problem with the twin moutain buggy is so heavy and bulky. Took a lot of convincing to DH to buy it.... your menu sounds delish.
MD- Xavier doesnt really get a lot of symtoms re the ear infection I just have to keep checkin his ears as he gets the discharge.
Art- sending out sleeping vibes for A tonight and hope you get more than 3 hrs.

Noni- I also had a twin stroller I bought while we were in America in January cost about $200 and it was awesome too. And I just bought a single pram for $30 from Walmart in August and it is fantastic it folds nothing and its hot pink.

Thank you all for your kind words re Livi's hair. I think its wonderful too. I am thinking maybe I might get her first hair cut soon.

Ok, I'm really feeling guilty because her snot turned green last week and I contemplated taking her to the drs then but didn't. MD's guilty confession! It all makes sense, she's been mucking around and not lying down for her afternoon sleep (derrr!) but I guess I was preoccupied with trying to run my life in that one week of semi-normalness before chemo rolled around again. Can't be perfect all the time, now can I?

Anyway I'm off, got to buy wrapping paper etc and hopefully will find a not-too-tacky saucepan set as well. She has some other little prezzies as well so we might even save the kitchen until the day of her party if I can't find the saucepans today. Or a quick trip to the oppy might save the day.
