Good boy Wade :)
Hi girls! Just thought I would say hi. How are we all and how are your bubs? Ellie is doing well, she is talking heaps (well just cooing) which is really cute and she is not far off laughing I don't think :) time is going so fast. Hope your all well!
We had a bit of giggling today from wade and he's been getting chatty in the afternoon during the past week. Poor guy has bottom thrush and nappy rash. I suspect because he wasn't pooping properly - only getting out to his bum crack and not further. This had been better finally this week after several visits to the Chiro (going there again tomorrow to check and hopefully won't need to go again for a while). Thrush & rash are getting better after getting creams from chemist - pharmacist recommended using disposables only and not MCNs :wall: to stop nappy rash but wade got the rash in disposables and not when in cloth. Looking forward to switching back to MCNs in a couple of weeks when I don't need to use thrush cream - soooo much cheaper especially as I have them from Blake still.

Hi guys,
Emily is cooing and talking heaps too, it is so nice to watch. She is still getting up once a night, only takes ten mins to feed her though so I can't complain.
Leckert - poor old Wade is in the wars with his bottom, hopefully it clears up really quickly. I love sudocrem for bottoms.
Becky - time is going fast for these bubba's, Emily is 11 weeks on Tuesday! I remember when I had Sarah (DD1) I didn't think the first 6 weeks were ever going to end but with Em it has flown by.
I still have a very clingy and challenging Sarah so am slowly working through that. I had my u/s for retained placenta last week and got the all clear thankfully. The bleeding has actually stopped this week for the first time since Em was born (10 weeks)!!!! I am so over it and really hope it's sorted now.
Take care and hopefully you all get a peaceful weekend.
Leckert - Awww poor little Wade! Hope his thrush and rash clear up very soon, he must be a bit uncomfortable with it :( Bet you can't wait to go back to cloth. Yes disposables are certainly expensive and you go through so many.
Crowe - So glad to hear you didn't have retained placenta and you didn't have to have operation :) Bet your happy! And your bleeding has stopped YAY! Ava is being a bit challenging aswell Crowe, you were telling me the other week that Sarah has wet her pants a few times well Ava has done the same thing and she has been doing wee's on the toilet since before she turned 2 and is also being a bit naughtier than usual, so hard when you trying to deal with a screaming baby and toddler aswell :wall: Just not making a big deal out of it and hopefully she stops soon.
Glad to hear both Wade and Emily are cooing aswell and starting to laugh, isn't it just adorable!
Thrush & rash seem to be clearing up (nearly gone) still having bottom wind issues but they're live able at the moment. Exciting bit was Wade had his first 6 hr sleep (and 7hrs between feeds) last night. I still had to get up for a loo stop but loved being able to go straight back to sleep after it though ;). DS1 has been finding it hard to leave Wade alone this week but some of that can be put down to him being home sick and not going to cc since last Monday.

Happy to hear that Wade's bottom is clearing up :) Good boy Wade for sleeping well for mummy. I'm over the moon at Ellie's efforts lately too. Bed at 8:30 -9ish then only waking once at about 3am for a feed then back asleep til 7am YAY! Hope everyone is doing ok :)
Hi all,
Hope your buboes are behaving themselves. Emily has been waking twice a night for the last three nights. I'm hoping it is just a growing spurt that only lasts a week. Otherwise all good here. Emily's cradle cap is much better too. Have a good weekend.
Good news Emily is back to only being up once a night. Fingers crossed it continues! Hope your all good.
Crowe - Glad Emily only waking once a night again, must have been a growing spurt! What did you use for Emily's cradle cap, Ellie has a little bit and can't remember what I did for Ava. How is Sarah going with her behaviour? Ava is still being a bit challenging but getting a bit better. Hope everyone is doing well!
Hi Becky I used warm olive oil on at night then washed it off with a warm washer in the mornings, I have been doing it for three weeks now and it is much better, Em had heaps of cradle cap.
Sar is going a lot better, still has her moments though. She is such a big talker and has a million questions a day as well.
Otherwise all seems ok here.
Lol sounds like Ava always asking questions and chatting. She's a very busy girl too always wanting to do something. Thanks I will try the oil :)
Hi girls, just checking in. Emily has starting sleeping from 9-9:30pm till 5-5:30am since last Friday yeeha! Fingers crossed it continues. We are still battling cradle cap with her though.
I am in the middle of getting a new kitchen so its very exciting but also really chaotic.
Hope your all doing well.
Hi All! How is everyone doing? Ellie us sleeping pretty well aswell Crowe. Last night was bed at 8:30pm and woke a 4:30am for a feed and back to sleep til 7:30am amazing how much more you can cope when you have had a good nights sleep. How's your kitchen going? Must be the thing to do at the moment, I have 2 friends doing the same. Would love a new kitchen you lucky girl :)
The past 2 weeks Ellie has started drooling heaps has anyone else found this yet. Just can't remember if Ava started doing this so early.

Good work Ellie on the sleeping too. Yes Emily has been drooling for a little while, I need to change her bib a couple of times a day. Emily is blowing raspberries back at me now, it's sooo cute! Take care all.
Wade's been only waking once a night at either 2, 4 or 5 am after going down around 8-9pm :leap: just hoping it stays that way at 6 mths when his brother's sleep went to poo. Wade has also found his mouth in the past week - fist mostly in there ;) he's been trying to sit up and mostly succeeding, when laying on me facing out.
Am recovering from 10 days of DH away and am trying to get over a head cold which I scored halfway through :(

Hi all, been reading but every time I try to reply Lily has wanted something. Glad to hear we are all getting more sleep. Lily has been going down between 930 - 1030 and going through until 6 - 715. I didn't sleep this much when I was working so my body is loving it. We've had a few days where she won't sleep for more than 20 minutes at a time. Aargh, so frustrating. Has anyone else had that? My only way of dealing with it at the moment is to pop her in the high chair and take her around with me.
She's discovered her fists and they have been catching most of her drool. Classy girl my baby with her face covered in drool from where her fists have pushed it.
She freaked me out a couple of weeks ago - she was having tummy time and I turned around for a second, turned back and she was on her back looking very confused. I popped her back on her tummy and over she went again. I videoed the third time because I wanted proof for DH.
