How is she??? Ok?
How is Zoe Beatrix? We are having much the same here today, I'm thinking teeth or WW, then again we have some clear nose drippings after crying spells, please not another cold    guess I'll keep an eye on her and see how she goes. How's your knee?
Oh sorry forgot to come in and rely. She is fine. She does have excess wax build up which may or may not cause discomfort but she is too young to really do anything about it. Today she is much better, bit sooky but I'm still couch ridden pretty because of my knee. pretty sure it's ligament damage so might take a while to heal.
She is in a WW and the teeth while they have come through they are still coming up o would be annoying I guess.
Beatrix- glad she is OK.... bugger about the knee! I have had ligament damage in my youth, took forever to heal!
willow- I hope it isn't another cold for you.... we have all got one at the moment... DD1 is better now, but had to take antibiotics for it!.... Now miss E and I are sick! blocked noses and a cough!... my throat is also sore, so if miss E is feeling the same as me, she's coping quite well...poor little thing!... Last night however she just couldn't re settle after waking to a cough because of a blocked nose so we had to sleep on the cough, upright!! So now I'm feeling worse this morning, will be going in to the Dr to day just to get us checked out!....*sigh*
We are officially rolling back to tummy!!
Thats awesome Harri!!
Zoe isnt doing anything anymore, we are back peddling.. she has rolled a few times but now just lays on the ground and whinges. Not sleeping in her cot again either..
Im at a loss, she will not sleep unless I lay down in our bed with her and I just can not do that every times she needs a nap, no swing, carrier or anything is working, you cant even hold her in your arms to sleep. I am going to go friggen mental soon, I cant cope with her. I am getting resentful every time I hear of other babies being so much easier then her and wonder what I did so wrong to get such a PITA child (yes I know she doesnt mean it but its still a PITA) even DH cant settle her, its completely on me and Im almost done. I want to go back to work and have DH be the stay at home parent...
DD1 was like that..... in the end we did control crying to get her to start settling in her cot!!... It was hard, but it worked... What about a sleep school?? is there one near you anywhere that you can go to??
Harri- no sleep school near me thats suitable due ti the other girls and DH work.. he cant take any time off
I know what you mean, Beatrix. As much as we love them sometimes we just need to get things done. My almost-2yo is being clingy crazy right now. I absolutely adore her but she wants to be picked up every second of the day. I took Logan grocery shopping today and it was so much easier without her. I felt guilty but got so much more done. Logan has been demanding 2hr feeds around the clock lately. In so exhausted. I fell asleep with him in my arms feeding at 4am! I feel so awful. I could've dropped him. It scared me but I don't know how to fix my exhaustion. If he does the 2hr feeds tonight I'm going to pull a sickie tomorrow.
Well she has slept on her cot for the last two nights (the beginning anyway til about 1am) then wakes for feed and I accidentally fall asleep while feeding her but this morning I did put her back in around 3:30 and she slept til 6:30 so getting some sleep on my own which is nice.
Yesterday I was also out most of the day and she loved it. Didn't whinge. Fell asleep on her own in the trolley twice for naps so I think maybe she gets bored at home? Too bad my knee is now so sore.
Agh kids.... Why did I have them?
Beatrix- That's GREAT sleeping!!
DB- maybe Logan is trying to up the supply?
As for us... DD1 has finished antibiotics and looks like is recovering, however she still has a lingering cough!!... Today miss Eleni is running a little bit of a temperature, up to 38.8 earlier... Lucky I had already booked an appointment to get their coughs checked by the GP this afternoon at 5:30pm!... I really hope she doesn't need antibiotics!...poor little thing!!
just updating... miss Eleni is just fine, Dr reckons she's teething!.... well we are still waiting for that elusive tooth!!
DD1 has gone back to Dr today re cough... now he's prescribed her some steroids to take as he thinks it could be croup!....*sigh*
Harri- glad to here she is fine!! Nothing worse then sick kids. Hopefully the tooth cuts soon
Well we are still getting sleep in the cot with one wake up a night so much happier with that. Unfort day naps are power naps but oh well.
So Zoe rolled a couple of times awhile ago bit hasn't done it since. She just lays there now. She can sit up on her own for a few seconds if in the right position but the lack of rolling is starting to worry me. Will be having a word with her dr for her 6 month check.
I'm hoping it's because she is just lazy or suck a chubba she finds it hard lol. (8kg now)
Beatrix I hear you on the fed up point! We're still having multiple wakings at night and no more than 40 minute sleeps through the day where I have to feed her on the bed to get her off. I think a lot of that has to do with fast flow and it seems more manageable for her laying down. I may be starting to work out am ergo routine the last couple of days for at least one or two sleeps which helps with getting a few things done round the house.
G rolled back to front 3 times a while back, then stopped altogether until just yesterday. She still hates being on her tummy and starts yelling for me to roll her back onto her back after about 30 seconds. She can also sit on her own for a few seconds. But no attempt at all to roll tummy to back just crying for help. I don't think all kids roll heaps though some roll a few times then go from sitting to crawling.
Harri I hope everyone is feeling better in your house soon and you see a tooth as well!
More colds here too, I am so ready for summer!!
It's my 40th Birthday tomorrow girls and guess what I'm getting? ...My first period since July 2012 yay Happy Birthday to me  How is that for timing! Not impressed. Maybe Georgia will be nice and give me a decent sleep for a pressie, I won't hold my breath though.
Is anyone else seeing their bubs showing jealousy? Is that even possible at 5 months? I am almost positive G is starting to get jealous sometimes when I pick up DS3 or when Grandma does (she loves Grandma) We're also having almost tantrums when she can't get what she wants eg the cat. She cracks it big time, but our cat is just not baby friendly, all the adults in the house are scared of her and we know to be gentle lol But if you take something from her she cracks it as well if someone she wants to pick her up walks in and they don't go straight to her she starts yelling then crying. I don't remember any of my babies being like this :o
Willow- Happy Birthday!! It's my dd2 birthday today as well she is 7. Hope you got some decent sleep.
Nope no jealousy here, she does prefer me though.
Thanks Beatrix :D Now you say that I think I remember from last year your DD has the same birthday :D Hope she had a great day! :partysmiley:
G's first tooth has just cut through today. Not the best few day with snot and coughing again throw the tooth on top and it explains an extra sensitive unsettled baby :( Poor bub.
Poor thing Willow. Hope G gets better soon!!
Zoe is still all over the shop but I don't think I'm helping cause I keep falling asleep at night while feeding so she never ends up back in her cot.
Yesterday she rolled again so maybe she might start doing it more often.
Unfort I'm sick, upper chest infection which has cause my glands and lymph nodes on the left side of my neck and under my chin to swell as well as mouth ulcers so I'm on antibiotics. So far Zoe has been fine and Im hoping she doesn't catch it.
