I am meant to be in this group but I might stay with my rubbish dec group...
oh dear..... i can promise you mrsb that glenny is one of the sweetest/softest people on BB and she would never intend to upset anyone, please stick around! We all just promised throughout our pregnancy that no matter when our bubs were born we would all join the same baby group, we filled 20 threads while pregnant, we are very close but certainlly not closed off to making new friends.....the more the merrier

Yay, I'm allowed in here for real now that I had my baby!!!!

Well, we're home. The big boys adore their big brother, although DS2 has been a little bit jealous already. DS1 got upset when he first woke up (at 5:30 so he was still very tired), because Josh arrived earlier than his predicted date of Thursday and because he desperately wanted a girl He's over it now and he is just adorable with little Joshy.

The labour was shortish again. I'm going to say it started at 4:45 because that's the first time I actually thought "This is it" and the contractions started to become regular after being all over the place, and strong. I didn't have a single contraction in my belly - all pain was in my back. I was pushing when I got to the hossy again so I really fly through that first part of labour! I really struggled with pushing. I pushed for two hours and was just so exhausted. All three boys seem to have gotten stuck on the lip of my cervix. It wasn't until my marvellous mw suggested that I sit on the loo and push for a bit that I finally started to feel him move down and he was born about 15 minutes after that. Tell you what though, I felt like I was going to split from my bottom to my belly button! So glad I won't be doing that again!!!! Despite what it felt like, I didn't tear all that badly and only had a few stitches.

Josh is feeding like a champion and probably like the older two, won't lose any weight before he starts gaining. My boobies are already leaking like taps when I'm not feeding him - I'm expecting my milk to start to come in tomorrow night - ouch!

Can you believe I've had some sleep this morning? I've caught some here and there and have probably had four or five hours all up already!

Oh MrsBexie, I was in tears watching the news in Toowoomba this morning. I'm tearing up again just thinking about it - we had to turn it off. I am so sorry you guys are going through that right now. I have never seen anything like it. Please take care of yourself and your family and know that I am thinking and praying of you and all of the townspeople up there. It's an awful, awful situation. Keep safe.

I am so worried that I know someone in the 8 that have died or the 72 that are missing... It's breaking my heart. I am just so thankful we will not get flodded where we are unless it's a flood like in the bible and everything goes under!

Oh isn't it? I wish my mw had suggested it earlier, I reckon Josh would have arrived at least an hour earlier and I wouldn't have felt so negative during and then after the labour. I will never look at a loo the same again

man why didnt anyone tell me about the dunny?!?!?!

mind u i would have needed a extension lead for my CTG machine to reach that far!

well i think miss summah is getting herself into a routine all by herself!!!!

for the last 3 days its been like this

7-8am- wake up and first feed

    12pm- feed

    4-5pm- feed

    930-10pm- feed

    2-230 am- feed

then back to 7-8am the next day!!

so she has cut one bottle BUT is drinking more in her other feeds, thats ok isnt it??

im rapt becasue i wanted a routine but didnt want to have to fully force it on her so instead she has helped me out there!!

Wishing all those is QLD all the best right now, its scary stuff, so stay safe...

Crumpet what a champ Summah is PK is very fussy at night wants to sleep on my chest and feed every 2 hrs or so, but has a huge sleep thoughtout the day, but cant complain as he is really a good baby, nothing wrong with wanting mummy cuddles all night...

Disgirl congratulations on your little boy... Dont know how you coped pushing for 2 hours, I can bearly cope doing it for 20 mins, my babies seem to get cought on my cervix lip too but I get them to move it over so I can push the baby out...

PK has to go to the midwife clinc today to get weighed I think he will have put on quite a bit of weight... he looks nice a filled out...

on the house frount I have put in 4 apps so hope to hear from someone soon to say I got a house, have 2 more to look at today, I am so over it all, wish it wasnt happening but there isnt much I can do, have to realise this is now my life, I am on my own...

GTF, good luck with the house apps. Trust me, pushing for 2 hours is not fun! My mw offered to check the cervix and to move the lip, but I declined. Kinda wish I hadn't because once she did that with DS2 it was really fast. Oh well, all over with now!

Crumpet, way to go Miss Summah! I'm not expecting a routine out of Joshy for a loooooooong time, especially if he's like his brothers!

AAU: My mw was out not long ago. My tummy is shrinking faster than my boobs are expanding which says a lot My milk is coming in already resulting in Josh pooing in nearly every nappy already. We have to pop back into hossy next week to visit the Pead and hearing nurse. There are no concerns, but it's nice just to get checked over anyway. My mw also brought out all the forms and stuff so I'd better get onto that to register his birth.

We're having a really quiet day today. We had a million visitors yesterday, which has become standard for us the day after bubs is born. DH and I each have three siblings and a million nieces and nephews and they all want a piece of the newest member of the family. It's great, but exhausting so it's nice to be home alone with my boys
