Wow your all doing so well, PK is also just so wonderful I agree with tegem having a 4th is bliss ( just dont quote me on this when we all have screaming 3 year olds )... Still house hunting here without much luck hoping something comes up soon not that I am looking forward to the packing up but cant wait to stop looking PK is doing well getting in and out of the car even last week with the heat/ humidty we had and a car without aircon.. he was a bit of a sweatly baby but we lived though it...

For those asking about swimming swim class starts at 6 mths but I know I had DS1 in the pool at 6 weeks but that was because we moved from sydney to Darwin and we were all very HOT and sticky, I dont know if or when your aloud to put them in the pool but it didnt seam to do DS1 any harm..

Jen well done on keeping your cool at the shops, not always easy to do...

Not sure who asked about having more, After having my 3rd I was happy and I was done, but when she turned 1 I changed my mind... now that PK is here I am so happy, but that said I feel a little sad that he is my last, but you have to stop somewhere...

Sorry I have to go as PK wants to be held and how can I say no to that little face...

crumpet - hugs to you - when you think of G, cuddle that gorgeous girl of yours - it might not take away the sadness, but it will make you smile

Had a successful outing down at the shops today - took pram this time and managed to score a pram park - yippee! Did HBF, Medicare, a few bits and pieces then since DS was asleep int he pram, decided to check out the Target baby sale - loaded up with lots of 00 and 0 winter things, then DS decides it's time for a feed - lovely screaming all while I was queued up. I was wondering what sort of mum I'd be - would I get flustered with a screaming baby in public? The answer is . . no, I was as cool as a cucumber - yes, my baby is screaming, but look at him, he's gorgeous - and besides, wouldn't you scream if you wanted my boobs and I wouldn't give them to you? (no I didn't actually say that out loud) Anyway, he calmed down by the time we left, so I just went home to feed him. David's clothes shopping for the next 6months - check. Keeping my cool with a public screamer - check.
    thanks hun

good to hear u survived with a screaming baby!! ur a crack up!

I'm so happy for Kit!!!! So glad Tiger finally arrived for her

I've been busy today - it is DS2's birthday so we've been doing family-type things. My mw also came for her last ever visit Kinda sad since we've seen an awful lot of each other over the past four and a half years. We gave her a huge bunch of flowers, some choccies and a card, but it doesn't seem like enough. She delivered all three of my boys and helped me through the worst bits of all three labours - I don't know how I could have done it without her. It was a lovely visit though. It's always more like chatting with a friend than a mw visit

hi guys, i got a text from Kellie (lilias) this afternoon, she asked me to update you guys.

Kellie has had to have a blood transfusion after her bleeding post birth...

also baby Caelan is in special care nursery, with bowel/digestive/intestinal issues. Tho all tests results so far are clear

Kellie is just hoping Caelans tummy is just slow to do its thing and there is not anything seriously wrong!

ill pass on any messages to her you leave.

i asked her how she is doing emotionally and she said she is ok, she said it is very lonely at night tho. Not being pregnant, no baby, no toddlers around or dh with her

Please keep this lovely lady in your thoughts and lets hope both of them are better very soon!

Oh no! Didn't she have to have a transfusion after one of the other two? Maybe I'm thinking of somebody else...

Please tell Kel I'm thinking of her and little Caelen. Hmmm, I wonder if I can manage a trip to visit her, although I'd have to take Josh and that might just upset her a bit more. I might see if I still have her number and send her a message.

Thanks for letting us know Tegam

Hope Kellie recovers soon and has her little man back with her again . .

Yay for Kit and Tiger & family

Today will be interesting - I'm babysitting two nephews from 11:30 to 3ish (3 and 18mths). Apparently they usually sleep between 12 and 3, so HOPEFULLY they'll go down well at my place so I can juggle them and David! I'm about to find out what my SIL's life will be like in a few months (she's preggers with No. 3) I'm going to try and have David down for a sleep before they come, so I can concentrate on getting them to bed, then hopefully I can feed David before they wake up . . hmm, the logistics of it all . . I'll either end up with three crying kids at the same time, or three sleeping kids at the same time . . will let you know how we go

You'll be fine Jen You're lucky the three year old has day sleeps still. I WISH my DS1 would still have day sleeps! Good luck

Us: We had another great night here with Josh. DS2 didn't wake until 5am and then slept until 7am. Josh was up at 1am and 5am - yep same time as DS2, so poor Joshy just had to lie in bed talking until I got DS2 back to sleep. Then Josh and I went back to sleep until after 10:30. I feel so good now

We have the community nurse coming today to weigh Josh. Can't wait to see what his weight is, I know he's already back past his birth weight - he's chubbing up very nicely

Woohoo I cant believe how well some of these babies sleep, Molly and i are a bit all over the place, she still gives me her best stretch before i go to bed and then later in the night in my arms. I am just too tired to stay awake for feeds, im sure she would sleep just as long if she was in her bed but when i get woken at 11 after going to sleep at 10 i just fall asleep, i wake at about 4am with her in my arms, she has another feed but doesnt settle well because she has wind from the 11pm feed. Oh well, i start the day at 5ish with tom so im atleast getting 5hrs a night... Like i said molly sleeps well from 6pm ish to that 11 pm feed so i can get all the other kids evening stuff done.

Went shopping today for DD1s schools stuff, now just have 25books to cover in contact! I spent $110 on books, hair stuff, contact and drink bottles, what expensive will it be with 4 monsters at school. Oh and not forgetting the $60 on school shoes...ouchie!

DD2 went and had an hours interoduction play at the local C & K Kindy, its from 9-2.30pm in a five day fortnight so mon, tuesday, then the next week, mon, tues and wednesday! So ill only have 2 kids 5 days a week. Miss DD2 looked so grown up! DH took her so she had a ball.

I cooked 7 mashes and froze them last night so today i just have to do snake cooking for lunch boxes. I then freeze that and it keeps the lunch boxes cool. Im going to make DS a lunch box too so then he can just help himself to food if im feeding miss molly.

My inlaws are up tomorrow but they are staying in a motel they asked when was a good time (never) so i made it when DH was home and said they had to stay in a motel rude cow i am but who cares. They leave tuesday avo!

Jen: Have fun with the 3 kids! Can you imagine that they all could be yours! Some people really have them that close together....crazy!

Disgirl: Glad that DS2 bday was so nice. Cant wait to hear how much weight Josh has put on! Molly is doing well in that department, hope she doesnt grow too quickly tho...being my last mummy is having issues hehe!

    How is everyone else?

Does Tiger have a name yet??

Ok off up the road again for more food shopping.

CRUMPET: Thinking of you today. Happy Bday Gus! Hope you can have the best day possible Sam with DH and Summah!

Well Josh is up just under 400gms from his birthweight and 6cms from what they told us his length was - I'm guessing they measured him wrong in the hospital! Although his big fat head is getting bigger and fatter - that's up 2cms too My baby is growing too fast. Don't think I can cut him off though and stop feeding him, he won't like that much!

well done, crumpet - you've done very well today

So, today's adventure . . . there was one brief moment of optimism, then it all fell in a heap . . actually, things went fairly well, just not as well as they could have! I had David down and sleepy before they arrived at 11:30 - had lunch with the 2 nephews, then 18 mth old grizzled for just a few minutes before going out like a light. Story with 3-yr-old, during which David wakes up with wind - finish story while cuddling David, then send 3-yr-old to toilet and put David back down sleepy. David decides he's not going down - I can hear him grizzling while I get 3-yr-old settled - back to David and rock him and stick a dummy in, hoping for the best - he falls asleep, I check on the other boys - 3-yr-old quietly reading stories on his bed. Now I'm thinking, if he just goes to sleep, I'll lie down myself for a bit. Check again in 15 mins, 3-yr-old sitting up, looking out the blinds to the garden, still as quiet as a mouse. Then David wakes up with wind, really screams the place down for about 5 mins, after which I hear 18 mth-old awake (probably woke because of those screams). By the time I've settled David, the 18-mth-old is really awake and grizzling, and there's no way the 3-yr-old is going to sleep with that going on in the same room. So 18 mth-old sings and plays in the cot for the next half hour, with intermittent grizzles, the 3-yr-old doesn't end up sleeping at all, then David is up and crying for food, so I give up on his sleep and feed him, then get the other boys up to play. So, David and 18 mth-old got about an hour of sleep, 3-yr-old basically none, but hey, we survived the arvo and everyone was pretty happy playing. I'm sure those boys will be very overtired tonight, but SIL was just grateful I looked after them and was looking forward to an early night tonight anyway. And bonus, David fell asleep in his pram for another hour while I had arvo tea with my SIL. You know what, I know that's the life of a mum with multiple kids, but I reckon I deserve a medal that they're all intact . . . lol.

Phew! I asked DH to get home by 6 tonight - I had a feeling that I was going to be a little tired today
