BR he has the white tongue, pain when farting and burping, also can't get the wind up, sometimes even with gripe water we can't get it all up before his next feed. I am not stressed this time round though as he has come good before and I know this shall pass. DS also finds drinking his bottle or using the dummy can help, oh and the sobber!!

Dd has been growing heaps, put on 530g in 2 weeks! She's still sleeping pretty well. Her poos seem to have changed though. Now they are a pasty texture and more greenish/cream. Not sure what's up with that.
I've been busy making some "letters" of her name for her room. Hoping they turn out ok!

We're doing pretty well - DD has been a bit off this week after having her needles but she seems to be on the up now!
Bubba - sorry your little man is suffering from colic :-( Tilly struggles with wind/poo pains too - its horrible. I think a lot of her issues are related to her movement being restricted because of her splint so hopefully when this is off she'll find it much easier. Hope little X is feeling better.
BR - I'm not sure yet what I'll do for contraception... I generally spot bleed when taking pill etc, so haven't taken for about 10 years, but think I'll try again cos I'm over using

Well I have exciting news to report - DD gets her splint off in 2 sleeps! I am
Soooooo looking forward to be able to enjoy snuggly bunny cuddles with my little princess.
We're off to baby club this morning to get bub weighed. Feeling nervous about it because I don't think DD has been having enought to eat - she only has 5 feeds a day.

Just dropping in to say hello and hope everyone is doing well... up and down here, but today has been a good day and I am proud of myself and my two girls.
Bubba - Hope the colic eases. It's hard.
Embo - yay only two sleeps to go! I spoke to a lady today that said her bubba slept really well for 2 days after the splint came off, and still does sleep well.
I hurt my back two weeks ago and have been co sleeping with DD2 as a result. I couldn't sit up to feed and I couldn't lift her out of her bassinette. I really enjoy it, now that I am used to it. I also get a much better sleep. I had started to do it when I was really tired and falling asleep during feeds, but I could put her back into her bassinette. Anyway, just about to go and enjoy my snuggles with my baby girl.
DD1 gave me an awesome cuddle today and then looked at me sweetly and said 'thanks for a nice cuddle mummy". Mhawww - too sweet.
Contraception here? abstinence so far.....LOL.... and condoms when the drought breaks. I stopped using the pill due to ongoing nausea, and then when I tried to resume, I just forgot to take it consistently. As I am not sure about whether DD2 is our last, it's easier to just use party hats.

Finally on the computer so trying to do an update before DS wakes again.
Embo what is Baby Club? Is that where you see yje CHN? And DS only has 6 feeds a day too. Apparently anything from 5-7 a day is completely normal. DS makes up for less feeds by drinking between 150-180ml a feed.
Dory - How is your back going?
Little O How are things gong? Anymore mastitis?
AFU (As for us) - we are doing really well here, have started trying to implement a "routine" this week. Pretty much his natural feeding and sleeping pattern but trying to get the little man in bed by 7pm (if he is settled) and things like that. We weighed him about 4 days ago and DS was pulling a whopping 5.5kg! He is growing so fast. We are just getting to the end of our latest wonder week and DS has really started smiling so much more now. He sleeps 7-7 and even when unsettled is managing 830=7am. I am so grateful to have a good night sleeper. Besides that we started mothers group but on;y one other mum turned up, better have more this week or I will be asking for another group, I was so disappointed. Well thats about it here, we are pretty boring just happily plodding along

BubbaT: Thats great X is gaining so much weight, much be a good grower! I keep meaning to get little miss in to get weighed but its Tuesday mornings or Thursday afternoons, which means i am guaranteed to always have something on then :doh:. I have had mastitis 5 times now. But havent had it for a few weeks so i am hoping i am on the home stretch now. I found a natural herb that seems to stop it getting worse, so i keep it on hand now. It also works wonders for cold and flu. Felt like i was coming down with something the other day, took it and it was gone :)
Dory: How is your back going? Hope its improving for you. How cute is your little one!!! Cuddles are the best!

AFM: Well DD is growing so fast. She is a real happy smiley bub. She’s getting cheeky too. Whenever i am feeding her now she starts to play by coming on and off and smiling about it.
She will be 14 weeks this week. Time has flown...but at the same time i can barely remember a time without her. She has started to roll onto her side now, almost right over, but not quite. She is suck a sticky beak....seriously has to gawk at everything. I put her in the jolly jumper a couple of times last week and she is starting to enjoy it. She smiles away and dances on her feet.
She is also getting good with her hands and starting to grab and hold things properly now. Shes also worked out how to "girgle" as in vibrate the saliva in her throat. She’s going to be a chatter box this one lol!
Well hope everyone is keeping well and having fun as mums :)

We are doing pretty well in general. DS is sleeping 7-7 but his day sleeps are absolute rubbish. We are going to go to sleep school to try and improve that though.
Besides that we just plod along. DS is such a happy baby, he loves smiling and laughing, we have taught him to stick out his tongue and he has started waving, it is so cute - he looks at his hand in concentration lol.
Not looking forward to go back to work at the start of Dec.
Bubba.....that's pretty awesome for sleep. RB is similar. Basically cat naps during the day, sometimes up to an hour at a time and very rarely 2 or 3 hours. It does my head in but I reason it's just how she is and I am not going spend hours trying and failing, or for the trying time to be longer than the sleep time. I reckon it will settle soon, or not. It sort of suits anyway with having a toddler.
Good luck at sleep school.....they use controlled crying by and large. I always found it too hard for me. My friend with twins wennt and hated it, but used the skills later.
Little O .....back is mostly fine, but I have to be careful. I had my first ever case of mastitis last week.eek, and it was mild and I didn't need antibiotics. But crikey. What herb helps ward it off?
Babies at this age are so cute. They seem to all be doing perfectly. RB has had green exolosive smelly poo since 6 weeks of age, and she's coming good now. Apparently nothing to worry about in her case as she was still thriving. But I weigh her weekly , just in case.She has temporary functional lactose deficiency.....or a lactose overload. She was in a lot of distress for a while, so maybe she had a virus as she did one mega spew before the green poo? But she was never off her milkies. Anyway, she seems on the mend. I had an appointment with a dieticican yesterday to see if my diet was contributing. No! Yay.
Is the Facebook group a secret group? I might join if it is.
Hope everyone is well. Still mad keen for another baby here, but am not going to stop breast feeding to get my cycle back. And need some time to assess if it's right for our family.

I can't remember much else (as I can't see it), cept weight & milestones?! My Xav weighed 6kgs about a week ago. He's remained that weight for about 3wks now but I've noticed he's getting longer! We have our 4mth needles around the corner soon! :( As for milestones, my Xman is on the slower side! Still no rolling or grasping anything. He has found his hands though & has started to laugh. Oh and he blows saliva bubbles, some days I need to put a bib on him! Oh and he HATES tummy time! Lol.
I had Miss A weighed last week and she was 5.5kgs and 63cm long, so just above the 90th odd percentile for length and below the 40th for weight. Typical for my girls, except they tend to drop the percentile for weight and height. Miss E at 4.5 years old is only 13kgs. She is blowing heaps of bubbles too, and slobbering someting chronic. Two bottom teeth coming through so the dribble is constant. Even with bibs I'm having to change her tops two or three times a day purely for dribble wetness.
Dory - come over to facebook. Its a lovely way to keep in touch knowing that its private. And hey, now I can say I use facebook! Good to hear that your little girl is doing so well, and your diet is in the clear. I can't do controlled crying either. Maybe we need to swap bodies though - I got AF back smack on the same timing as I would have after DD1 had I not fallen pregnant before she ever showed her ugly face. Would have been nice to have gone AF free for a bit longer.

Dd is 8 months now and going non stop. She crawls she stands, tries to walk on the furniture, sits up, rolls over and is attempting to talk. She has two teeth and seems to be getting 2 more!
Sigh it's non stop changes for her. They grow soooo fast!

I am still about :) DS will be 8 months on Thursday, its amazing how quickly it seems to pass isn't it.
DS is just hands and knees crawling forward and is trying to stand up but hasn't quite figured how to get there yet. He has finally cut his 1st tooth on the weekend, thank goodness cause its been months of seething gahh.
He is at daycare 5 days a week and absolutely loves it.
Besides that we are back Ttc a sibling as you know. We will only have 1 more but can't wait to be PG again
Yay for when the tooth comes through! Dd was the same, grizzly until it came through, and two came within a week of eachother! Not sure if she's cutting her top ones now. She's either teething or has a cold.
How long has he been in child care? That's good he loves it.

He has been doing 4 days a week since the start of december but went to five days a few weeks ago.

I am not expecting to conceive quickly. Took us 17 months of proper trying to get DS. I would be rapt if it was this month though hehe

Little O - I don't have FB either, so nice that someone else is like me! ;) DD2 is not crawling yet, but doing lots of rolling and tummy sliding (commando crawls), and getting frustrated with herself that she can't get there yet!
Bubba T - I have started back at work too, though part time. and DD2 also loves day care, though is exhausted the day after! And we too are TTC #3 - trying some gender swaying to see if we can get a blue one, but aren't really bothered if it doesn't work - the gender swaying I mean. I am seriouly wanting #3, so will be upset if that doesn't work. DD1 took quite a while and some help, but DD2 came faster so heres hoping #3 comes faster too. Though not holding out as I am now 40, and still BF including nights - DD2 is a night feeder! here's to us both getting BFPs soon!
BubbaT: Yeah you can use it for teething. I just give it to her when she is a bit grizzly and is having problems sleeping. She loves the stuff. She sucks it out the dropper and gets excited when she sees it!! Seems to work though. She is always a lot calmer after and not so drooly or snotty. Yeah we will wait till we get back/away. It took us 5 months last time so thats why we thought we'd start then. Ideally DH wanted to start September, but i said it will delay it all.
Milly5: yay for no Facebook!!! They do get so frustrated dont they. Its like they have worked out what they want to do but not how to yet! We want to have a blue one next too. I just hated all the temping etc. But unfortunately for me, my cycles are hopeless and so i cant guarantee when i ovulate :(. I love having a girl but i am scared to have two. I didnt have a sister....
