It must be difficult when you went early the first time. DD1 I went 6 days over and DD2 7 days according to my dates and 13 days according to the hospital. At least I was mentally prepared for it the second time as much as it sucked.
How is your DD going PRMG? Excited about becoming a big sister?
She's showing signs of being really anxious about me going to hospital to being really excited that the baby is coming out soon. Last couple of days she's been hugging my belly lots lol.
I think the biggest problem is that we're both just so bored right now, the waiting is driving me bonkers and she's sick of the same routine.
In case anyone misses it
MG has had her baby https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...-her-beautiful
Congrats MG, i'm so thrilled for you xx
So MG how is life treating you with 2 little ones?
DD2 is so beautiful, makes me all clucky again.
How is DD1 coping?
Thanks Mo. She's beautiful :D
DD1 is battling a really bad cold (probably the worst she's had), plus an ear infection. So she's constantly whimpering and just having a horrid time of it all. Poor munchkin :(
Yes she is, so is this it for you?
Will you be writing up a birth story?
Poor DD1 hope she feels better soon, this winter has been a shocker for us as well. With Maddi getting pneumonia & B's bronchiolitis giving her grief. Looking forward to the warmer weather.
There's so much going around, it's not funny. Hope your house is germ free for good Mo. No more babies for us, we wanted two and we're done. I'm hoping to get my birth story done in the next day or so, but will see how I am time wise!
Hi girls! How is everyone going?
We've managed to avoid the nasty winter bugs until now :( Both girls are sick, I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad and it passes quickly.
DD is such a clever stubborn little girl. If things aren't done the way she likes or is used to then it's the end of the world. I'm sure that some of it is attention seeking but sometimes she chooses to melt down instead of just telling us what is wrong. Apart from that all is going well. We're keen to start swimming lessons in the next month or so especially now that my parents have a pool. Favourite things at the moment are art and crafts and Disney princesses :)
Dd2 is growing up so fast! She is huge like her sister was and is well on her way to hitting the 9kg mark in the next few weeks. I am busy again with uni and we're doing a trip overseas to visit DF's family next month.
Hi Girls! How is everyone doing?
Is everyone starting some kind of kindy/preschool this year? Alexandra started last week will be doing 2 days a week. She loves it! There hasn't been any tears and Thursday she didn't want to come home :) We're also hoping to do kindergym this year and maybe soccer. A few of her friends are doing dancing but I'm trying to delay that for as long as possible, hopefully forever ;)
Would love to hear how everyone else is doing
K is doing 3yr old kinder every Friday 1-4.
M is starting school this year as well.
All doing really well here, can't believe they are turning 4 in a few months. It's crazy!
Good to hear from everyone! DD1 is starting kindy in a couple of weeks! She is super excited. She will go a 5 day fortnight; Thur, Fri each week and alternate Wed.
Copied this from the kindy thread: We had our interview at the end of last year and met a few other parents and children which was nice! The kindy is actually the same one I went too about hmm 20yrs ago now haha. It is very beautiful and textual and homely, completely play based. I was debating a little about whether or not she would go to kinder but this place has made me feel very comfortable with the decision.
We've also had a curriculum night where we learnt about the themes of the year and a bit about the way they do things as well as painting a tea cup for our kids to give them on their first day which they keep and use through the year as a link to home. We painted a nightskape with DD1s name as the stars in the sky and a hidden spider crab on the inside (her favourite thing ever lately).
We received a letter this week about the kindy and inside was a treasure bag which we are meant to use to collect things in the lead up to kindy to help it become a focus and give them some talking points on the first day. DD1 loved getting a letter addressed to her! The 23rd of Jan is our play and stay day then starting the week after!
DD2 turned one last week. Walking, talking, terrorizing. Love having the duo.
