Not sure when I will start c on solids,have always said I wouldn't start before 6 months but we will see lol. Ella I didn't start til 7 months but she's a whole different story lol.
Jenna you poor thing, that sounds horrible! Hope you get the surgery soon, and you should be so proud, good on you for keeping your supply up, when it would be so easy to stop right now. Make sure you are looking after yourself too.

Just on the monitors, we have a baby sense which is like the angel care and it can sometime be affected by the ceiling fans too - not an issue for this time of year for us thou :) just thought I would share.

Well what a strange few days i have had with Ella monday night she had a bottle at 5:30 went to bed and slept until 1am :dance: but then only had 60mls of her bottle and went back to sleep until 6am:dance: which i thought was great until she again would not have more than 60mls she stayed awake until 10am where i tried again to give her a bottle but she didnt want a bar of it so i put her to bed she slept until 1:30pm and had only 60mls again :o she stayed awake for 2 hours then went back to sleep until 3:30 and still didnt want a bottle i tried and tried but nup not a drop so then she went back to sleep at 4:30 and slept and slept i was getting worried as she had only had 180mls in 24 hours and her nappies were not real wet so by 8:30 i went and woke her up to try to give her a bottle she had 180mls :dance: so i thought great she is drinking again but when i was burping her she fell asleep on my shoulder so i put her back to bed she has never slept so much usually she has some play time.
Anyway 12 midnight came and she was awake had only 60mls again:o 3am and she was awake again didnt want a bottle so she went back to sleep then 4am and 5am she was up whingeing and sounding really uncomfortable so i got her out of bed and noticed she had vomited clear fluid on her sheets so i got her up changed her bed and tried a bottle where she finally had 180mls again i am a little concerned as she is still asleep now she is not having anywhere near the amount of formula she usually has.
Today is wednesday and she has only had 600mls since monday night that is only 3 bottles in total where she normally has 5 bottles a day.
hi ladies, hope all of you and all the littlies are going good.
took Allyssa to our old nurse yesterday, she has put on all up 90gm in 2 weeks, so 70 this past week and 30 the one befor. while she didnt get into a frantic over it, she did explain how it is the bare minimum they can accept. while she isnt going great with weight she has grown 2.5cm in length, so it looks like most of the weight is actualy her hight.
She helped explain to me the best way to do both ff & bf, but has a feeling that as i wasnt able to feed the others and gave up arround the 3 month mark, that my body might automaticaly cut the supply then out of habbit.
she recomended i give her 2x60ml top ups in the morning and arvo, then stick with the 60-120ml she has been having befor bed, go back in 2 weeks and see howe much she has put on then, also try to express as much as i can (this will be fun as ive only ever sussefuly done it once) and we will go from there.
it was good to have someone actualy explain the reasons behind it and not just go off charging like a bull! she also showed me Allyssa's weight/hight mesurements on the adverage chart and the who one, (thanks to you ladies i already knew what that was! lol) her height and head measurements are prety spot on, her weight was at the start, but started to drop down the last month and has continued down, not up.
sorry for no persies, lots of cleaning to do, and ds2 has decided to chuck the bigest tanties yesterday, and contiuing them today, oh fun!

If it's your spa at home then he will let you know if it's to hot if it's a hotel spa that dosent get emptied after each use i wouldnt put my bub in one after hearing what people do in them:lol:

Sorry for the me post.
I wonder if I should be worried about Chloe or happy she's discovered sleep. Went to sleep at 3pm yesterday arvo, I had to wake her at 4.20am for a feed. Had a huge feed and nappy/clothes change (cos she didn't have a night nappy on and peed through everything!). Back asleep by 5.30 this morning and still asleep.....
Jaki- how come your ticker say wyatt is 2 months and 2 days when he was born before Ella and she is 9 weeks tomorrow (2 months 6 days today) shouldnt your ticker say 2 months and 7 days wasn't wyatt born day or two before Ella
Ellasmummy-read my post a few post's back ella went through a few days of sleeping for age's and missing her feeds i had to wake her also to feed her she is back to her normal sleep times now.
is she feeding and gaining weight? the health nurse said to me when they arnt getting enough weight gain they can become overly tired, and was suprised how allert a is. just a sugestion, if your worried about it call and ask a nurse on call or someone.:
Ah I did see that ferrals, glad she's back to normal.

She just woke up and is having a feed, see if she can stay awake for playgroup lol.

Ferrals Wyatt is 9 weeks today but the tickers go by months so was 2 months on the 17th, confusing hay :D it's just cause their isn't always 4 weeks in every month.
It's a resort spa so I might give it a miss. Stephen is taking us away for our anniversary and the room is a penthouse with a private roof spa.

Just a question, is it anyone else's baby sleeping through the night? K sleeps from 6-30 pm to 6:30 am. He has since about 5 weeks. I feel just now though, at over 9 weeks am I getting back to my normal schedule of getting up at 5 ect... Starting to feel normal. : )
Everyone else, sorry I missed a few people. I am finding it hard to catch up with Facebook too and would love to deactivate but hard with family so far away, you tend to get dependent on it. xx

Tams-All my boys did from about 2-3 weeks of age but Ella is still waking up once she goes to bed about 7:30-8 o'clock then she will wake between 2 and 4am the last few nights though she isnt really drinking a lot only about 60mls then goes back to sleep until 6am so i think she isnt really hungry just use to waking at that time i try to keep putting her dummy in but after the 9th time (last night ) i gave up and gave her a bottle which she only drank 60mls i hope she will be sleeping right through before i go back to work.
Oh and i do have to get up once or twice to pop her dummy in otherwise she sleeps really well and self settles off to sleep so i supose i cant complain.
That is awesome Ferrals. Bet she is just not wanting you to miss a moment of what is happening in her life. : ) I don't have anything to compare it to as dd slept like K so it makes it hard sometimes for me to remember that not every baby is like this.
One thing, he SCREAMS from the moment he wakes up from his naps for his bottles like he would rather me wait by his bed with a bottle and the moment he stirs, insert into his mouth!!
2 days in a row now.. when I get to the microwave he stops and... smiles!! Lmao. It is truly moments, like this that make my day and everything worth it. Hope you guys are enjoying these moments too. xx
