new name's up, yay! lmao Kylz thats whyh i picked it, strangers always comment on (mostly ds1's) lashes! all the staff at his school know him by name cos of them :lol:

Jaki, yup lots of hair here, but its not unusual for me, my hairs realy thick if a wigg maker followed me arround he would never go out of buisness! i have heard that it is normal up to bub is 6 months i think, something to do with hormones? :hug: hope it eases up for you.

Tams, lots of giigles here to, and massive smiles. i hear you with the friends bit, i announced i was taking a break from everything and alot have understood, but one thinks i need to be smothered and not left alone! i tried to explain how i was using the net to escape from reality (not that i have much to want a escape from) and she sees it as im cutting myself off from everything, not that i was trying to reconect with the kids and be more of a decent mum!

my baby has a sink problem... no matter the time of day or night, if she is asleep or awake i go near the sink to do dishes, she will scream the house down, the minute i stop and take gloves off to settle her, cheeky thing is fine and all smiles again... no idea what the go is there.
she has also taken to pulling things over her face and going to sleep. i get realy worried but the seccond i take it off her nose and mouth she will wake up, pull it back and nodd off again? strange child just like the rest of them!!

Anyone else having problems with their hair falling out? I'm loosing massive amounts of hair when I wash, brush or run my fingers thru it. And my hair ties look like they are made if hair! AND it's alway all over my clothes! :(

Yep jaki same thing happening here didn't need to get my hair thinned out at the hairdressers this time round and I remember the same thing happening when Luke was born plus it grew really well

Omg I have a psycho baby here, screaming all day for no apparent reason. Is 14 weeks a wonder week or something?

thanks guys, grant cooked me breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns and tomatos all professional and then went to lunch with my parents at Cactus Jacks. Then came home and had to deal with screaming baby. For some reason from about 5pm to when I get him to sleep he just errupts into fits of screaming. But today I worked out a way to settle him; I sat on the floor in his room and pulled out the books we bought him and read them to him letting him touch the pages. He was quiet until I finished then he screamed again and by that time I decided it was time for bed so he was in bed by 8pm tonight :)

jaki: I get massive amounts of hair falling out. For some reason I always find a strand or two in Chase's nappy.....lol but when I am taking a shower I can pretty much fill up the whole drain with my hair. Its so disgusting.

tams: Chase is hard to make giggle, he has to be in the right mood to be entertained and even then he will give smiles but not giggles. Makes it worth it when I can get them though :)

lou: yup my parents started calling me 'the lunchbox' to chase :) he loves randomly grinning at dh but whenever I try to get in on the smiles action he starts wanting me to pick him up and give him some milkies.

iona: woo on jack being 3 months! time is going so fast, chase will be 5 months next friday, holy crap!

sarah: she must think the sink is trying to take you away from her lol

kylz: is doubling their birth weight a sign they are close to ready for solids?? chase was 2.66kg when he was born and now I think he is about 7kg (well i hope he is lol) so he should be close to ready. He doesn't really do all the other signs though, we sit him at the table with us and he just watches eagerly waiting for us to try and make him laugh.

my hand is freaking me out, my two fingers and thumb on my right hand are always numb with pins and needles now and tonight it took me longer than normal to coordinate it to open the door to our room while I was holding the baby. Im def calling the place my dr referred me to to get tested for carpal tunnel tomorrow cos this is scaring me a little.

OMG cactus jacks is my fav! Please tell me you had chocolate nachos?!?!

Kitty the pead told me when they double their weight ad also take interest in you eating can sit up and something about the tounge not flicking or something. I think I will try J on something over weekend and see what happens. He weighs 7.8 so that's double lol

Jak he said he has seen worse but they dont like to drain in babies cause they can damage the blood vessels in the testies and putting them under general isn't good so he will do another check in 12 months but said it should have drained itself by then

teni/lou: I always forget when he had his screaming and ****ed off periods. He is going through one now if that helps lol but teni's right must be a growth spurt!!

kylz: I gave chase some rice cereal today, he loves it. Cries when I take too long to put it in his mouth...but Chase you need to actually open your mouth so I can put it in lol. He opens his mouth sometimes and others just sits there grunting at me then cries until I give him more. i only gave him the tiniest bit with breast milk. no more than like 20ml :) starting off small.did u try with J?

I did but he is still like sticking his tounge out to eat so I don't think he is quite there

my lil man turned 3mths the other day so i went and weighed him - a whopping 7.3kg and 64cm long. So i went and had a look at what Luke was at 3mths and for some reason I didn't record it but he must of been lighter as at 5mths he was 7.1kg so I may have the next Aussie forward or prop on my hands and i must have wonder juice - Jack is basically putting on a kilo a month

Wow! I'm desperate for Wyatt to hit 6kgs but he just isn't getting there! Soon I hope.

Hey ladies. Been reading! Bubs all seem to be doing great. I had a pead appointment on Friday and H man is 9kgs and 68cms long! Big big boy!

Hi everyone else!!!

Chloe is 6.5kgs, fatty. Just checked her baby book and at 3months ella weighed 7lbs lol. Meanwhile at one month Chloe only weighed 3.9kgs so she is stacking it on since starting losec :) Chloe can roll back to tummy now, and is trying Sooo hard to play with her feet - just can't quite get there! And now hates the hug a bub :( where has my little baby gone?! At least she has stopped being feral, must have been cos she was learning

whoa 9kg, nice work kate!!! at his last weigh chase was 6.7kg and that was 4 months old with his clothes on so he isn't very heavy, his puffy cheeks and cloth bum make him look chunky though lol.

lou: i had to email in the referral so I did that Friday night after I got home from working so hopefully they call me back this week and book me in. my hand is still crap, its basically numb with pins and needles all the time now.

i feel like such a social butterfly tomorrow heading out to wellington point with one of my mothers groups, hoping that the sun is out like it has been the last couple of days and I'm taking my boy swimming before the cute winnie the pooh swimmers i got him are too small :)

oh i got a call back from the cts test place and the lady said the earliest appt she could get me was 5th september......but luckily while we were talking someone cancelled so I stole that appt which is on monday yay!!!! so chase gets to spend monday morning with lola. I wonder what they do for this test though....hmmm...
