afm: trying to get jack to have a bottle (as i have a day at the races in a couple of weeks and then my hens day a couple of weeks after that) and we are not having much success.....

HiYa. still here just not realy coming on much. (actualy learning to limit comp time, YAY!)
i think, and hope A is hitting a growth spurt.. she slept from 11:30am untill just after 5pm yesterday, (was excellent as i had a 3 hour appointment at the hospital) she slept from midnight untill 8 then had a 4 hour nap. i have to upgrade her bottles to, she is now having up to 250 ml at a time! 2 weeks ago she was struggling to down 125 at a time! some of her 000 are getting a little tight on her toes, long skinny thing she is!
going to take her to get weight next week, just to see. (i will be putting ear plugs in! lol)
she is loving the older kids, they come near her and she is all smiles and giggles! we have taken to having side by side nappy changes with miss K.
and we made progress with her fear of the cot, she has one or 2 day sleeps in it every seccond day! (providing we are home)

my boss is being a pita. since I was 7w preg we agreed I go back 3 days in sept. Well when J arrived early I said I wanted to go back in Aug. Have tried to get answers out of him for weeks. Well today he decides to return my call. He has told me I can work 2 days starting sept :( possibly 3 days down the track.
Top that off with J screaming for an hour and I am now sitting here bawling alone.
aww Kylz that sucks. Did he say why only 2 and not 3?? Or any excuses at all?? what a punk. Could you look at other jobs maybe???
How come you're alone?? Chase was screaming too when i was trying to put him to bed, tried to get DH to help but he had to go because...and get this... "but I'm in a game." Call of duty. He couldn't help put his son to sleep because he was in a computer game that you can easily turn off and go back on later. Head meet brick wall :wall: selfish twit

well i just appied for a nightfill job :) only one avail with woolies was at runaway bay...oh well I'm used to a nice scenic drive to work and it would only be 2-3 times a week. I'll have to prob let go of my centrelink payments....oh no, what will i do without $95 a f/n (very sarcastic).

miss A is in some 00 :o i never thought we would see the day! she is so tiny still, some fit her in length, but are massivly loose on her. some of her 000 (the small make ones) are getting short in the sleves and tight in the feet.
She accidently had her first go in the highchair tonight.. went to put K in it for dinner, and thought it had doubled in size then realized i was strapping Allyssa in, :doh: she thought it was hilariouse, Krystal, not so much, only the dog can come between her and her food! silly mummy moment. having lots of diffrent mummy moments lately :shakehead::lol:
Anyone else's bub trying to sit up? Amelia decided tonight she doesn't want to lay down any more, or be propped up. She wants to sit of her own accord, and cracked the poops when she couldn't do it :lol: She was so frustrated, poor cheeky girl :) She's babbling a lot lately too, like she's carrying out a full conversation, it's so cute and funny to watch.
One thing I think she might be behind in though - she doesn't grab toys on purpose. She'll hold on if I place one in her hand, but she doesn't reach and grab. She loves staring at her own fist though, waving it in front of her face, bringing it closer then further away. The concentration on her face is hilarious :rofl:

Hi guys, sorry I've been avoiding BB lately, been feeling a bit down with all the preg and birth announcements lately :( I want another baby :( Really not coming to terms with this whole no-more-babies thing.
Other than that I've been good, finally got my pap done yesterday, getting my gourd/reflux/indigestions/whatever-the-heck-it-is investigated at the moment, doctor thinks it's a bug that's taken up residence in my stomach, but if today's test comes back negative then I get to go on zantac for near future, blegh. Hate taking meds, but so sick of having my stomach/diaphram being tender and hard for 6 hours straight into the early hours of the morning.
Elise got weighed last week, and at 3 months she was an itty bitty 5.775kg and 58cm long - little miss short ass lol DS was 6.665kg and 60cm at that age.
She's been grabbing her toys for 2 months now, but yesterday she actually started holding onto this new rattle toy we got her that has really thin tube handles on it, she likes to shake it and slobber all over it lol And she tries to reach her feet and gets frustrated when she can't. And she can roll onto her right side now, she hasn't tried the left side yet lol
We haven't tried on solids again since she started teething, but after the sleepless night we had a few nights ago we're going to start giving her farex last thing at night twice a week.
Elise was 14 weeks yesterday, and all day today she has been grumpy, grizzly and overtired. Now I'm just exhausted and feeling like I could sleep for the next 10 years.

Kylz, hope your boss sorts himself out soon. If it helps, I was back about a month part time when J was 3 months when my boss gave me a week to say yes to full time work again, or there was no longer a position for me. I gave it a bit of thought, tried to reason that I could get everything I needed done in the hours I was there, but it was either full time or nothing. I said fine, he told me I could pack my things and go. I was so angry.
Eden's finally back to sleep now, after an hour feeding and the seventh time up tonight, so I'm going back to bed.
Eden has had croup twice - about 2weeks and 4 weeks ago- and is getting over a bout of Bronchiolitis. Other than that, nothing else happening here.
I'll be putting BIL's wedding photos up tomorrow sometime if you wanna check them out! My lil man was so cute, and very well behaved!

teni: Chase loves sitting up!! He has to hold my fingers but lately I've been sitting behind him and one time he didn't even need me to hold him up for a couple of seconds :) With Chase I stillopen his hand and put toys in it :) he can grab them himself but takes a while and if he is in a bad move he gets frustrated and cries lol
jenna: thats good you are getting all checked out, hope they find out what is making you sick. Oh alot of people's baby's are rolling, Chase did once on a blanket in a disposable nappy from his front to his back but I think I may have propped him up on his elbows perfectly so it was easy hehehe when i lay him on his belly he lasts for a minute then cries doh! Chase is opposite with the rice cereal, if we give it to him after 5pm he is really hard to put to sleep and keep asleep. But he likes the 1-2 little dribbles of it that he gets during the day.
rhi: i wonder if its the week for bubbies refusing to sleep. The past two nights I've put him to bed his usual time and he just wakes up about an hour into his sleep hysterical. Then I have to comfort him (after trying to do that walk in pat his bum saying shhh and then walking back out again 3 times). what is croup???? I saw Eden had it but I had no clue what it was lol
DH only had one person call him for an interview which will be on Monday. He really likes the sound of this new job, its doing maintenance for Woolies brands, get your own van, fuel card and work phone and $33 per hour compared to the $27 per hour he is getting now. It sounds too good to be true!! LOL It better not be though, he needs a damn job. If he gets it he wants to take the week off before starting....umm i don't know if i can handle him in my house all day with me for a week. I may try to maim him for being a lazy mole

Jayden been pretty ferral on occasions damn teeth. Still sleeping ok and we have started solids so we will see how that goes.

kylz: tell me about it, everyone keeps saying chase looks like a little man now :( no he doesn't he is still my baby. how'd the solids go for J?? Thought he would be really into it :) Chase likes to eat but only opens his mouth if his hand is touching mine (the one with the spoon in it) like he wants to feed himself. So far he has had rice cereal, and then rice cereal with a teeny bit of sweet potato, or rice cereal with a teeny bit of pear. Nothing too crazy yet. He loves both though.
Chase is going ferral, I used to be able to put him in the bassinett and walk away and he would go to sleep but now he just cries and cries. I even leave him a couple of minutes because before he used to just whinge a bit then sleep but nope, just cries loudly for ages until someone goes in there and picks him up. My back is killing me from having to nurse him to sleep for 2 nights in a row. This is not on Chase.
jaki: yeah he is a lazy mole. He said he would pick up my treadmill for me on wednesday, its now sunday and no treadmill but he has time to go to the driving range and play basketball at the park etc. grrr lazy mole.
LOL Dh just called to me that his back is sore from nursing Chase....awwwww you poor thing :rolleyes: Not like my back is sore or nothing.
Hi everyone!! Have been reading but computer **** itself and I hate typing on my phone! Like now lol. Just enjoying my peace, chloe fell asleep in the jumparoo while I was getting ella sorted, and I put her to bed and *so far so good* she stayed asleep! I have always had to feed wrap rock or walk!! Pretty exciting lol don't know what to do with myself

And culminated into the time he worked out and then sat on my couches sans a shirt. Add to that he always calls my DH to pick him up/take him somewhere because he can't afford petrol even though he works and has money to blow clubbing and on smokes. scummy bastard.

Wyatt has a bald patch too, and we are guilty of dragging but not anymore. It's from him shaking his head back and forth as he starts to wake up in bed. Dh calls him ray Charles. his head is pretty flat too which upsets me a bit.

O.M.G Kitty! kick them out!! i did, i yelled my a** off at a heap of FIL's friends who just wouldnt bugger off, i swear they thought it was THERE HOUSE!:o it worked, a couple needed reminding every so often, one even refused to come in unless i gave permission, funny as it was fil's house.
A has a bald spot, well strip. makes her look like she has a baby mullett!! all of them had it, it dose grow out once they are up more then they are down.
i wanted a early night lastnight, you think i could get it? NO! little miss A decided she wanted her up and playing time when i went to bed, 9 untill 10-11, maybe 12-1 at night is apparently "wide awake time"..:rolleyes:

Got mothers group in the morning and I'm gunning for 6kgs! I've said that every week tho and he is still under :( he is just so fussy at the boob I'm starting to wonder if he gets enough! I feel like every time we get through a fussy period with a g.spurt or w.week another one starts.
Last week he only put on 20g, but the week before it was about 150g cause he was feeding properly. Grr.
Anyhoo think fatty vibes for us to hit the big 6kgs!

We got checked over at the Pead today and Big H in the blue corners stats are: 9kg on the dot! HC 44.2cms and length 68.4cms........ the pead said "he is a robust baby!" LOL
Nope jak Chloe is 6.5 with winter clothes and 60cms, but she is a guts with boobie. She has been soooo fussy the last couple of days though! Think I'm getting mastitis :( have been expressing after her little stuff around feeds and massaging in the shower but its getting worse. Have to take ella for her 4 year old needles so will ask gp to check me out....
my good sleeping baby has returned ahhhhh....can't you just smell the serenity??
jaki: at his 4 month appt chase was 6.7kg and that was with clothes on, length was 62cm and head circumfrance 40.5cm. wish i still kept getting him weighed regularly. Sometimes I stand on my scales with him then minus how much I weigh just to make sure he is gaining lol. I'm thinking fatty Wyatt vibes for you!!!! LOL
sarah; oh i scared alot of them off, so much so that they don't come around anymore unless i specifically invite them but these two just don't get the very obvious hint. Like I deathstared annoying mate (he kicked my dog...not cool, I know storm is annoying but kicking her is just sadistic) and he left and I thought 'halleluljiah he finally gets the picture' but the next day there he is back again. And DH is all ' stop deathstaring my friend, if he does something to the dog that I dont think is ok I'll tell him'. Well i say kicking a dog in the face is a bastard move just because she annoys them when she is working out so i'll deathglare as I see fit thank you very much. And neighbour boy, jesus that kid has no clue. He comes in and grant ignores him and I ignore him and he just stands there in our living room in this awkward silence until he leaves again....weird. At least its only two that i have to put up with, it used to be about 8 :) I'm slowly weaning them out mwahahahaha

Well did my carpal tunnel test today, was so weird. They actually send electrical shocks up your nerve and it made my fingers twitch! the ones that were affected anyway. And the result, yes I have carpal tunnel, just a moderate case though. He said could very possibly go away so to give it 6 months and if still there to come do the test again. To treat it for now I have to go buy a wrist brace (yeah because with DH out of a job Im just rolling in cash :rolleyes:) and wear it at night once baby has gone to sleep and to bed. easy peasy.
Dh went for job interview today and went very good according to him. He will hear back officially tomorrow so please everyon FX, I need to buy a wrist brace so I can get some feeling back in my fingers lol
I'm actually a teensy bit concerned, I'm sure when I weighed the two of us then subtracted my weight, she came out to be about 7kg :-/ And that was a month ago. Either I did it wrong (more likely) or she lost weight...

Kitty - Thanks, I find out on wednesday what the results are. Hope you and DP get good news tomorrow regarding the job interview.
WMM - Elise was only 5.775kg a week and a half ago... and only 58cm long lol she doesn't get weighed again until the end of the month, and she only puts on an average of 100g a week at the moment while on formula. And don't worry about the flat spot too much hun, DS had it really bad as a bub and his head is pretty much normal now :) Just really boofy-big lol
afm - DS and Elise have the flu :( And DS also has mild tonsilitis as well, so not fun around here. I'm coming down with it too.
Other than that not much happening, trying to take it easy.

Cloth nappies make a huge difference too, we always weight it and then put it on him to weight then subtract it. The lighter ones are around 150g and some are more around the 200g if they have lots of inserts!
I'm a little worried but the nurses think he is fine. I can feel his ribs, but you can't see them. He is a wee bit chubby in places. He is tall to tho, I guess he just got the skinny genes from both sides. Pity I didn't get some!

Oh jaki Chloe had cloth on and winter clothes, she is probably only 6kgs lol. Meanwhile as I'm typing this sunrise has a story on a bub born 7.25kgs. Holy crap.
Kitty hope you get your wrist brace soon and fx DH gets this job :) yup just love getting the girls out for the gp, plus I need a pap yippee.

Sarah did you ever get to the contraception appt thingy? Can't think what its called lol. Would be interested to hear what they say....we probs won't be having more kids but don't want to do anything as permanent as tubes tied or vasectamy.....and I freak out every couple of weeks I'm pregnant lol
Does anyone else not have AF back? I'm enjoying it, but missing the non preg reassurance haha.
I thought I got AF back when our bubs we about a month old, but it must've just been some extra bleeding from birth. Haven't had anything since :leap: Quite enjoying that :lol:

Hey everyone.
When i had J weighed at 4 months to the date he was 7.8kg HC was 42 and length was 65 and that was with a nappy and body suit on.
We have started solids here and I have to admit that I am sooo lazy that I have been giving him the premade pouches. Seems to like them and havent had a reaction yet. Just not sure what the deal is with the waking up at 330-4am is again.
I have had AF back for a while now and she is currently visiting and I think this is the 4th time. GRRRRRR Nowhere near as bad as i thought. I havent really had any cramps the whole time.
