Rhi- Chloes sleep is sh*thouse too, has been for weeks :( I'm hoping it passes soon and trying not to let it stress me out. Easier said than done!!

Wow ferrals E is going for gold! I'm getting Chlo weighed and measured this week, i have no idea how long she is, I think she's about 8.5kgs....

Merry Christmas everyone! We had a good christmas but chase woke up in the crappiest mood and he was narky all day. He was obsessed with me. But the next day he was perfectly fine. The only photos I have of him with all his xmas gifts is one where he is crying...:doh: he got so many toys at christmas we dont know where to put things haha. PLus I already have a room of the house full of toys for him for his birthday hehehe. Spoiled baby.

Chase is doing well. About two weeks ago he had his check up at the hospital to check his development. He was yelling, army crawling and trying to walk everywhere so they said he was doing pretty well haha. He says mama (sooo much), he used to say dada and now only does it when we really beg him too and of course baba is a big hit. Today he was saying nana when i showed him a banana. Still not waving alot but he does give out open mouthed slobbery kisses hehehe. And applauds himself alot, or makes you applaud him. Umm so he sits up no probs, army crawls, pulls himself up on anything and anyone and can walk holding onto one hand, or even just my dress but the silly sausage is still too scared to let go. MIL said that her first DS was the same, walking early holding onto things but didn't walk by himself until after he was 1. I hope thats not the case, I'm tired of walking him around. Actually today he was leaning on a toy box chewing something and was so distracted that he let go of the toybox and stood there chewing on the toy before realising he was holding nothing and leaned on the toy box again. So never know he might be close. He has been walking holding hands since he was just under 8 months, so after nearly 3 months of that I really want him to just walk on his own. My poor back just cant handle anymore.
His sleeping has been poo since about 6 months. Basically he wont go to bed before 9pm and then he usually wakes up at 2am (though its 2.30am now so i might get lucky) and then about 4am or 5am. I miss the days of him sleeping 8pm to 8am :(

I just sent off my acceptance letter for my new job today. wooo cant wait till 17th jan to start the training!! im really looking forward to this new challenge and stimulation. being with chase all day is great but i need a different kind of stimulation. I feel like im going a bit stir crazy lol

3/4 of it out on Monday. They are doing another sort of scan today to check where else it is cause they think the liver is the secondary sight which means BAD.

Kylz - oh no, I don't get on BB for over a week and I miss out on soo much, I hope they got everything in the liver and can find where else it is and treat it quickly and get rid of the horrid thing xxx we went through that with my grandfather back in 2001, it started in his kidney and spread to his liver, stomach, bowel and spine, apparently it had been growing for 10 years and no one had picked up on it (the doctor he saw up until his diagnosis has since been forced to retire after he failed to pick up that my grandmother had a dislocated hip for 2 freakin years! grrr) even though he was sick almost constantly for most of those 10 years.
FXed they've got it early enough, for you and your families sakes I hope so!

ellasmummy - thanks for thinking of me hun, still feeling yuck, out of Zofran at the moment and can't afford any more until tuesday/wednesday so I'm having to live with the awful all day sickness again lol But other than that and the overwhelming exhaustion I'm doing ok and bub is doing good too :)

afm - exhausted, sick, stressed out. The usual. Elise is commando crawling everywhere, can sit up without support and is starting to get up onto her hands and knees and rock a little bit, but her upper body strength still isn't very good so she can't hold herself up even when holding onto things. That was the big concern at her 8 month checkup at the start of this month, because she should be able to stand up and put weight onto her legs and hold herself up by now.
Still no teeth, but it isn't stopping her from eating to her hearts content, she was 8.3kg at the start of the month and she'd only put on 1kg in 2 months, even with her usual 4 x 240ml bottles a day and 2 solid meals a day, you wouldn't think that that's all she eats as she's a chubba lol poor thing has thunder thighs already just like mummy!
DS turned 3 on the 23rd, no party for him as it's not worth it with our families (no one ever bothers to come around ON his birthday or when we plan a party for him anyway so there's so use) and since we don't have many friends with kids, even fewer with kids his age, it wasn't worth the effort trying to organise anything this year only for us to be disappointed in everyone all over again. Next year he'll be in family day care 2-3 days a week so he'll actually have some friends to invite for his birthday.
They both got spoilt rotten with toys, I paid for and picked up mine and DHs christmas presents (well he contributed the deposit on them anyway, I paid the rest), 3 Pandora beads for me, a fishing rod for DH and a Phillips in-car portable DVD player for the kids (for all of us really because if they're occupied with the DVDs then they aren't yelling/screaming/crying at us lol).
Ummm, we just got back from spending 2 days at the in-laws today, I don't feel relaxed or rested from the beach though, just stressed out from having to chase after the kids for the entire 2 days. I'm ready for a break, or a holiday on my own for a change. DS has started talking back and when he has anything with lots of sugar in it he gets violent with me and Elise, so I'm in dire need of a break to recover and recoup ready to start dealing with him again, I am losing all my patience with him.
Nothing else to report really. Just counting down the days and weeks left until I get to meet this little bub.

last day of the year, and for many it was a crapola year :( here is hoping next year is a better one for all. as some of you know from Facebook my fil passed away very suddenly on the 21st dec, cause still currently unknown until autopsy results are in, they first ruled as suicide but further investigation they think otherwise. it has lead to a whole load of our lives being turned upside down, one of witch 15yo bil is currently staying with us, all up in the air at the moment but basically for good. so kick off the year with Df's 24th tomorrow followed by the funeral on Tuesday. hence my sly return to BB... need a distraction but it sure is quiet around these parts :D *drops pin*

Anyone else's bub not crawling yet? :D Got all excited last night she was up on her hands and knees rocking!! pretty sure she rocked forward like 2cm, so exciting, when she starts flying around i'm going to make a special trip to the health nurse just to rub it in :) also have 2 bottom teeth and still sleeps in with me, she will keep herself awake until i take her to bed then its big smiles, cuddles and out like a light :) if i want to clean or *ahem* i have to set her up so she falls asleep on the couch without realizing she is falling asleep (not an easy task to do!)

Loving the cute pics on Facebook! yes even tho i don't rely comment or like i still admire the cute bubbas :)

well here's to a uneventful end to a pretty crap year and hopefully the start to a decent year in 2012!!!

Christmas could have been a whole heap cheaper, if I'd have bought like 50 matchbox cars instead of anything else. Eden steals all Jensen's toys and he hates it. He doesn't want her to play with them or suck on them. He steals her toys, but that's apparently entirely different. They're inseparable though.

First tooth popped through yesterday! Bottom right! The one next to it should not be far away. Eden crawls everywhere. Doesn't actually cruise much furniture but will pull herself up especially to get to where Jensen is. Lately she's been holding onto things and getting distracted and letting go, then falls on her bum. I'm hoping she doesn't walk until at least after her 1st birthday. Jensen walked at 14 months.

I just had a little question, would it be bad to start giving chase normal milk now?? I'd still BF morning and night and up until the 17th (chase will be 11 months and 1 week) but on the 17th i go for full time training for three weeks and he doesn't drink formula (like flat out refuses to drink it) and EBM he can't drink out of a bottle plus im not sure I will be able to get enough to even cover one feed. He had a babycino today and I let him taste the milk and he went nuts for it, he drank the whole babycino from a cup though so im thinking maybe I could try it in a sippy cup and see what he thinks. But if its way bad ot give before 12 months then I won't do it and he will just have to try formula again or go without milk like he usually does on a friday. I just worry because taking his milk away for three weeks during the day will be alot.

Kitty, I'd mix whatever EBM you *can* get with a little cow's or goat's milk. That way you don't hurt your supply much (if at all) and he's still at least getting some mummy milk :) Can he drink out of a sippy cup yet, or just bottles? I'm a bit ignorant about when they can go onto cups, Milly tends to upend any cup we give her and try to drink out the bottom :lol:

Gotta go, she's on the rampage again. Geez this kid's high energy lately!

Hmmmm I really don't know hun, I personally wouldn't, but that's just me I have no real knowledge of if it could potentially do anything itms. Chloe has never in her life drunk out of a bottle. Refused. Scream the house down would rather starve to death type dealie. Gave her a straw cup and she uses it like a pro! Since 6 months she's been having mouthfulls throughout the day. Lately during the day she's too cool for boobie except at nap time so has been skulling water with meals! Ive been having a few drinks over Xmas and Chloe has been having ebm from the straw cup no worries, like 180mls, but seriously still won't let the bottle touch her! Maybe try giving him whatever ebm you can in a sippy or straw cup then just let him have food and water through the day? Is he a good eater? Some days Chlo only has boobie at wake up,arvo sleep and before bed. She's soooo easily distracted and just isn't interested if there's more exciting stuff happening.

It may also take a bit of experimenting some kids, like ella lol, are a bit picky about their cups! We spent so much money on ellas! Only good thing we them had heaps to try Chlo on. Of course she took the second one we offered lol.

She is ok Lou thanks for checking. Her levels have gone down since they put the drain in her liver but still yet to have the pet scan or laparoscopy. They are sending her home on Thursday cause they can't do anything till next week so who knows. Still no conclusive answers on where it started or if it's anywhere else.

I just can't wait to get home :(
