Another ebay fiend here. In fact just online shopping in general. Doesn't seem as bad spending money via the computer!
:dance:Robert just rolled over from back to front then onto his back again!!:leap:
Wow Cass - what a clever boy!!!

Delayed needles 4 Soph as she has been sick....just in case!!
I have given up on trying to write personals, I can never remember everything I want to say by the time I get to writing, you'll have to forgive me. My baby brain is so bad atm, scary, I hope it comes back someday. How are those who were suffering the 3 month blues going? I had a really rough week last week, my friend who has been driving my DD to school went on holidays so it was up to me to drive her. I've gone soft, I'm not used to it. So having that extra thing to do put me over the edge plus I was still recovering from my cough and AF was back and I have started on the mini pill (I read it can sometimes make you feel depressed). I was ready to pack my bags, but I am doing a lot better this week. It is still really tough but I feel I am managing a bit better.
On a more happier note Tobi is my little ray of sunshine, he is full of smiles and giggles. He is close to rolling over, he arches his back and wiggles about but has not quite worked out that he can do it.
Have a great weekend.

Needles went good, Hannah cried but was much better than last time, i still bawled hahahhaha , but she had the after effects again whoch was not nice..very quiet but crying all the time, hot , poor little thing.. oh well over again untill 6 months agghhh
Just tried Hannah on sweet pot and booby milk as she reaches out for food, didnt think she was ready but wanted to make sure ...She hated it acted like it was panodol hahah, wont try again for a few months , I still dont think they need food this young iv done a lot of reading about it but wanted to make sure :)
How is everyone? loving the giggles god its such a great age, PLS SOMEONE just stop the clock for a while plsss they grow to fast..
Hannah is crawling a little bit now as well my god ,
Well ladies,
Had my first HypnoBirthing session yesterday with a private couple and it went really well so im stoked! Now with that done with that Im cruising along and finally have a bit more time again (has been a busy few weeks getting myself prepared for last weekend and the house got pretty bad - DH spent most of yesterday cleaning).
Oh and im with you all on the hair loss - mine is shedding like crazy!
Ciaran is 17wks now - a big 4 months old! He is so strong with his hands, pulling and grabbing things of late. Also weighed him yesterday and he is a massive 7.5kg! Wowsers! He is also almost sitting up, but gets a bit wobbly from side to side without support.
He has just started dropping some feeds, and having more half feeds during the day - so Im constantly feeling like i have full hard boobs at the moment! Mind you when he then does feed, he takes it all, so is clearly still taking big volumes of milk.
Ive also noticed his routines changing a bit lately - he is not having his big 1hr sleep in the morning most days now, and seems to be wanting more attention during the day - like he needs more mental stimulation and can get gets bored after a while. He has also found a whole new voice recently - started almost singing... its hilarious and he just gets more chatty all the time. Have started taking small video snippets for memorabilia :p
He is constantly chewing on things so i got him at teething toy to help that - no sign of teeth yet but i believe they can take months?
No real changes in the night sleeping department - still 1 or 2 feeds at night then he snacks/grazes for a few hrs in the early morning 5-7ish (easy to do since we share the bed).
Interested to see how all your bubs are, and what they are up to.
Love to all the mummas!
Robert had his needles on Friday. Not sure if it was a reaction or just coincidence but he was really unsettled on Friday night and Saturday was pretty awful too. He was just so quiet and looked sad. Smiles were very few and far between and he didn't once try to roll over again he would just lay there and stare at his toys on his playmat. He didn't seem to want to feed either, so I was stuck with hard lumpy boobs for most of the weekend. He seems to have picked up a bit today. This morning he had some farex with apples that DH cooked up yesterday. He enjoyed them. I'm just taking cues from him. If he doesn't want solids and only wants the boob well he can just have the boob. But if he's happy to have some solids I'll give him some. As someone said, it's not like they are depending on the solids and can go quite happily without them until 6 months. I do love the little faces he makes though when he tastes something new!
QB hope you are feeling better!
Ciaran has been just doing 1 poo (a huge wet thing) a day lately, when he normally does 3. Great nappy changes, and makes cloth nappies easier when its just wee!
Anyone else noticed simular changes?
I've noticed the same thing Bree - Roberts poos are "firming up" a bit and instead of poos almost every nappy change I'm getting one or two a day........ darn, hope I didn't just jinx myself!!
yep same here with the poo department
QB - Hope you are feeling a bit better...it is very hard being a sick mum! I agree with the mini pill and depression...I went on it after DS and got PND. When I went off the mini pill I felt so much better - whether a timing coincidence or not - I am not trying it this time.
Shell - How long was Hannah sick for after her needles??
Bree - Congrats on 1st session!!!
Cass - Glad Robert is loving his solids - my DS went crazy for them at 4.5mths...I guess I will try Soph soon like Shell did...and see what she wants.
Well - we finally went off for our holiday and Saturday and one hour after check in poor Soph started vomitting. Poor thing - she was so brave!!! Horrible for such a tiny little thing to have a stomach bug...only lasted 24 hrs thank god...but not a fun start to three days away!
Anyway we are home now and fingers crossed everyone is now well - DH has the rest of this week off so I hope we can have a few nice days.
Shell- I agree pls stop the clock they are so cute. I get the cutest giggles when I tickle his tummy.
Bree- Your first session that is so exciting, I'm really happy for you, go for it. 7.5kg wow! Tobi has not been putting on much weight due to the reflux, last month was only 150g. So he would be lucky if he is 6.5kg, but he still looks chubby so he's not fading away.
LJ-I'm glad you finally got away, must have been horrible though to have a sick bub.
I am feeling better atm, I had a big talk to DH about how I am feeling. I feel a bit nutty with these mood swings, not nice. I'm guessing it is the pill, my research says that you should continue and things should level out in a couple of months but I'm not sure if I can tough it out. I was trying this in view to getting the implant so I want to persist.....see how the next couple of weeks go.
Take care
QB
Hi Everyone,
I hope it's ok if I say hello. I have a son Lachlan that was born on the 2nd March so I thought It would be nice to talk to other mums on here with babies around the same age :-)
Sally:)
Welcome Sally :D We're all pretty friendly here so feel free to jump on in!
LJ - hope you guys enjoy your week at home and the bugs stay away.
QB - All the best sorting out the pill etc. Contraception's such a hassle. DH will have the snip at some stage, I'm just not ready to say for sure I don't want another baby yet.
Bree - Well done on your first session. Must have been hard getting study done with baby brain. I couldn't do it right now! My mind is like a sieve  I haven't noticed any changes with Toby's pooing yet. He's a machine - can easily poo 5 or 6 times a day.
Cass - we had a sad day and wakeful night here on Monday too. It's not nice seeing them like that aye? Toby's got DD's cold and was so miserable - lots of crying which is not like him at all. He's usually so smiley and happy. We have needles booked in for next Tuesday - I'm dreading it.
Shell - hope Hannah's feeling better after her needles. How's she going on the veges?
As for me - I'm just loving every moment with Toby. I had PND after DD and looking back the first few months were such a fuzzy, sleep deprived (she was a shocking sleeper) haze that I don't think I really ever just sat back and truly experienced the little moments that are so special. I just feel so much more relaxed this time and I'm savouring every second! I think it helps that I've got a lovely group of friends that also have babies and littlies so we can all understand where each other is at.
DD is much better now - just a small attitude problem that I believe may well be here for a while yet
And, although we really don't have the money I have bought an exersaucer and a new pram this week! We tried Toby in an exersaucer at the baby shop and he loved it. We had one for DD and it was so good for keeping them upright and entertained for short periods during the day. Toby's starting to get a bit over being on the floor all the time so I think it will be great. I got it for a great price online so I'll be awaiting delivery next week.
The pram was a little naughty as I already have a Mountain Buggy and a Maclaren stroller  But I plan on selling the stroller and I really wanted one that could have Mr T facing me. Ha, listen to me justifying it! I'm hoping it will arrive on Friday.
Better go and get DD's kindy lunch/bag ready for tomorrow. Hope you all have a good night tonight.
QB - I tried mini pill until for 5 mths and the second I went off it I felt better - I hope things even out for you..lots of people use it successfully! I feel v v moody at the moment too...hope you feel a bit better.
Jandals - I hear what you say about enjoying the little things this time!!! I had PND with DS1 and it was like a fuzzy haze too...what sort of pram did you get??
Sally - welcome - love to hear what your bubs is up to!!
I am finding that I am okay when just doing the basics but I get really stressed out about the extras to do..I know I am not like I was with PND - but Bree you are amazing getting extras like a business done...I get stressy about ringing the bank (and I have a management job which entails alot of responsibility and I simple phone call would even rate a blink of the eye)....this mummy business is crazy!!! Anyone else feel like that??
