Bridg: Glad Logan liked his cupcake! DH just fed Phoebs little bits of cake rather than give her her own... we are mean ;) Hope you are doing ok?
BG: Hooray for a pajama day! Once the event you've been planning for ages is over it does leave you kind of flopped-out, hey. Hope you are feeling better today.
Emma: Ooh I love your updated ticker pic! What a cutie Jade is. Sounds like she is saying a lot too! LOL @ 'didoo'. Too cute. Phoebe pulls herself up on things but the only time it gives me the irrits is when she pulls herself up on me when I am trying to cook dinner! Makes it impossible to move around the kitchen. That's when she gets thrown into the backpack or into the wrap.
Nicky: I got my eyes tested for the first time only recently too! I am such a MASSIVE wuss when it comes to light. My eyes are oversensitive so it made it really hard to do all the tests. But fortunately I don't need glasses and don't need another test for a couple of years. Don't know what I'd do if I had to do all those tests all the time. I spent most of the appointment crying! Lovely that you're getting specs though - there are some great-looking ones out there.
And let me tell you, 3yo girls are hard work too. PMSL! I have been telling DH that working at the hospital with all those gorgeous brand new bubbas makes me sooooooo clucky. But then I get home and spend 5 crazy minutes with my two and that's the best contraception in the whole world. LOL!

Jamie had his immunisations today and needed me and 2 doctors to hold him still hes a strong little bugger but hes been such a good boy today i wanted to give him a treat but we didnt have anything i might cook him some cake 2moro and he went to bed at 9 and hes gone straight to sleep hes sleeping a lot better now im starting to feel rested again
i find out the sex of this bub on friday morning i hope fingers crossed if its a girl i'll be the same as Krystie and Nikki lol boy then girl :)

So sorry for being missing in action. We've had a house full of sickies! I copped it the worst, grrrr. The youngest DSS was sick for a couple of days, and the older one was "sick" for a day (lol, it was just to get out of school...), but even DH caught the germies this time. Poor Kyson has been having horrendous nights, and therefore so have I. I put him to bed and then he wakes after every 45 min sleep cycle and screams inconsolably. When he's upset he kicks and writhes and tries to spin and all kinds of acrobatics that makes it really difficult to hold him. He's so strong!! It took me over an hour one time last night to get him back to sleep, and even then I could only get him to sleep by laying on the ground with him for ages and ended up leaving him sleeping on the floor with the baby monitor next to him. When he woke again he came back into our room. But from 4.15-5.30 I was rocking/patting/stroking him to keep him calm. During the day he gets upset easily (a toy fell over and he screamed like the thing had gone up in flames and disintegrated in front of him!!!), and he's only having 45 mins for his naps. I managed to get him to go back to sleep on me this afternoon though, so at least he got a little longer. Tonight it took about 1 1/2 to get him to sleep. Talk about exhaustion! Now it looks like I have a sinus infection that I can't takes abs for, oh and morning sickness has started, lol!
We had our first Obs appointment today and despite my overwhelming fears, our little apple blossom is doing wonderfully. Her heartbeat was flickering away at a lovely 123bpm, and she was measuring 6 weeks exactly. I get to see her again next week because the IVF clinic want to do an ultrasound too :)
Now for the most important part of my post!!

Happy Birthday to all the gorgeous 1 year olds!! So sweet that Cerys, Cara and Phoebe were all born on the 31st! I hope all the babies had a great day! I know Cara did!!
Wow Emma, Jade sounds so advanced speech wise!! She'll be talking your head off before you know it!! I do notice Cara saying "DON'T!!!" sometimes when I try to get her to do something she dislikes heheh ..it's kind of funny!!!

KL, so sorry Kyson's been so unsettled :( He's been sick too? I had a couple of bad nights with Phoebe when she got sick - up with her every hour or two. It's not fun. I can't imagine how exhausted you must be what with being sick AND pregnant at the same time :( Big hugs, babe. I hope everyone is much better soon. I hate winter!

Cathy,hope Cara helps you to clear that blockage soon - i have pain in weird places on both sides at the moment - i'm hoping it's just cos i'm a little engorged (E slept better last night, and have been at work this morning - came home to a bubba not interested in drinking cos daddy told her they were going outside!!) - should get some relief soon!
AFM - not sure if i ate something that hasn't agreed with me (had maccas yesterday cos i had to work and then take mum to the optometrist and was famished!) or whether i have a bug - feel fine one minute, horribly crampy in the stomach the next. seems to be hitting every hour or so... very weird! anyway, i called it quits on work today cos i couldn't deal with customers and icky tummy cramps anymore - have come home and just taking it easy. spoke to my manager today and going to increase my hours starting mid month - will work three days a week instead of two. have been working off flex this week and last, and the three days is easy enough to manage, DH isn't working at all atm (sucks !!!)...
E is coming along in leaps and bounds. came home today and as i walked through the door, DH asked her who was there - she answered with "i dont know, who dare" - so cute! she has the walking thing sorted now and won't stay still! still teething - this 8th tooth is driving me batty!
I feel MUCH better!! I have expressed a bit in the shower, hot washers, and lots of feeds on that side. Finally feeling relief!! Horrible when it's all blocked up and lumpy! :( First time (or maybe 2nd?) I've had problems this baby. I managed to escape mastitis a few times, got it once or twice with Yassie and Ronan.
Oh hope you are feeling better soon Lee! That's no good. :( I hope you can get some rest time! Hope hubby can get a job soon!
Miss E sounds like such a good talker!! Wow!!! She's a smart cookie! Cara isn't really interested in her walker much, is happy to crawl around (boy can she move FAST!!)

Hello to everyone else too - hope all the 1 year olds are being good!
We had a hip check yesterday - sounds like we are not in the clear yet but they are happy with progress, next check is in 6 months, left hip is still a little immature as they put it as socket looks a little rounded, but they believe that is just that the cartlidge hasn't fully developed to bone yet (only see bone on x-ray). CJ also went to bed last night without a feed for first time ever (I was out wine tasting) got home at 7:45 to a sleeping girl, so had to try a dream feed at about 10:00pm (never done one of those before) as I had only had two glasses and boobs felt like needed it - all seemed ok.
In my head I am going back to work in about 8 weeks full time and I am able to just feed CJ in morning and evening and not do any expressing but still have enough milk for her at those times (at moment is only having one day time feed anyway) - but am starting to think perhaps I am deluding myself and that I will need to express for comfort or CJ will wean completely - what do you think? Also do you reckon I should get some expressed so she can have in daytime, I was thinking she can just have cows milk but maybe is mean to make her go cold turkey and I should ease her into it, but on the other hand while I am here at home I do want to keep bf rather than have her on a bottle. Maybe I will post in the bf thread and hopefully have people who have done similar and it all be ok.

I think your supply is rather more abundant than mine as I've not suffered from blocked ducts ever (although I have been quite engorged on occasions). Personally, I wouldn't introduce a bottle at all now - not even when you're at work. She can drink from a cup. A bottle is just something you possibly have to struggle to get rid of later. I'm fortunate in that Phoebe is starting to refuse the bottle while I'm at work now, which makes life a heck of a lot easier for me TBH!
As for going onto cows milk cold turkey, don't fret. Natty did it at 11 months and coped very well (she refused the breast for two days straight so we weaned). The nurse did suggest that when giving cows milk for the first time it can be good to heat it up a little because that will help to break down the protein which can be hard for some kids to digest. Other thing is, she may not like the flavour as much so that could be an issue I suppose...
I think you should be prepared to express at work for your sake rather than CJ's - I'm sure you'll both be capable of keeping up a couple of feeds at either end of the day for as long as you both want but you don't want to get blocked/sick.

Vic, both of my kids went straight onto cows milk in a sippy cup. I don't think you'd really need a bottle. It may help having cows milk in a sippy cup if you want to continue some breastfeeding.
No problems either time. DS went straight from breast to cows milk. Allira went from Formula to cows milk. Had no dramas with taste of anything like that.

Hi everyone! Allira's been crook all night. Neither of the kids have ever vommited from being sick before.... just the relux, so this was a whole new ball game. A bit freaky when she was bringing stuff up and not being able to breathe (I completely know how she feels after 18 months worth when preggers... LOL). Am keeping an eye on her today. Thinking it's gastro seeming as it's been going on since 10pm last night, although there have been blocks of a few hours at a time overnight where she wasn't being sick. Her last spell was 30 minutes ago. I don't think it's food poisoning as we ate the same foods all day and I'm perfectly fine. My guess is that one of the kids at playgroup has had it and not been completely over it when they attended on Weds which is a little frustrating but there's not much I can do about it hey.
Here's hoping she's better soon.
Ok time to run and keep an eye on her. She's playing with DS at the moment but she can't have that much energy...

Vic, you may or may not need to express when you're working - given CJ is only feeding once during the day, it may not be a problem. E still feeds frequently through the day - i expressed at work the first few days, then just decided to take the pump and ONLY express if i felt uncomfy - no need - it is all good. E has a decent feed from one side when i get home, and i express from the other so that there is milk there if she needs it while i'm at work. this week she hasn't wanted any. she is happy with just water and snuggles with daddy. has milk at granmas though - go figure??
Nicky - hope Allira is feeling better soon, and that the rest of you don't cop that nasty bug
AFU - E has decided to refuse to sleep. she isn't unhappy, she just won't close her eyes! she will lay awake just watching us for hours. doesn't need to drink, doesn't need to be cuddled... it's rather odd. i would say it's possibly a wonder week thing... she is in love with being outside - will go and sit at the door and yell at us and show us her gumboots, then hit the door to go outside. i told her a few minutes ago we would go to the park but ONLY if she was a good girl and had a sleep first - she walked over to DH to be wrapped (won't sleep unwrapped still!), then had a quick drink and crashed out straight away. so we're going to the park after lunch!
BG, isn't it amazing how their sleeping patterns change? We're going through some sort of transition with P too, only it's a lot less peaceful than E's by the sounds. She is refusing to sleep on my work days and the only way I can get her off to sleep when I'm home is by feeding her. She's not even falling asleep in the car much anymore. I wonder if she's transitioning to one day sleep but it seems a little early to me... Interesting times!
Nicky, so sorry about the gastro :( Definitely sounds like that to me and it is SO easy for them to catch it off one another. You've done well to get Lachie this far without ever getting it! Sick spew is so much grosser than reflux spew, hey? Hope you stay healthy.
well we are having a healthy baby bub had the cord in between their legs but the sonographer said if he was to make an educated guess he would say girl 70% but i have no idea wat that means so ???????

i'm guessing they are saying only 70% cos thev couldn't see any extra dangly bits but can't be sure cos the cord was in the way... yay for a healthy bubba - no matter the gender!
we're having an awesome day today. i'm still a bit icky in the tummy, but refusing to let it get the better of me - have just walked down to the park/PO and taken some piccies of our princess. i'm loving that she is walking now - means we can do this sort of thing and not have to stress about her getting muddy so much (yes, when she topples she gets muddy, but she isn't crawling in it!!)
Good news about healthy bub Jacinta, so are you going to wait out the next 20 weeks hedging your bets or will you try have another scan to confirm gender?
Thanks for the advice, I have thrown all the teats to my bottles away as were looking manky - so when I wrote bottle I meant sippy cup - but sounds like the plan is doable which is good. Also it looks like I have got a place for her for three days a week starting 12th July - Mon, Wed, Thur, I figured I couldn't wait to get a job and then look for childcare so we will just have to hope I am in work by end of July a small overlap is no problem. So that is all good news.
Went to MCHN this morning, and you know I was saying I didn't think CJ was growing, well looks like her height has only gone up 1cm in past two months (is a new nurse the crazy one no longer there, nurse didn't seem concerned because she didn't trust all previous measurements as she hadn't done them and well the old nurse was crazy). Her weight is still just above 75% on the WHO charts so is tracking along nicely, and her head circ is now just following its own curve but is along the right lines. Now I am 5ft 7 and Ryan is about 6ft 1, so when CJ was born and was 85th percentile that seemed about right, now she is down at 25 percentile - 72.5cm. At 10 months was 50th percentile at 8 months was above 75 percentile. So between 8 months and 12 months she has grown 1.5cm - you can see the graph here CJ Height Graph
I don't know she probably is just having growth spurts at odd times or something - but then people always say to trust your instincts, and I have always thought she was way to happy and calm for her own good and recently wondered about the growing - but my mum says I was like that. Is funny, she is such an easy baby in pretty much every aspect but that still has its challenges in that I then am constantly wondering if she is ok because she isn't doing normal baby stuff. I feel a bit warped because I like it if she cries because sometimes crying is the appropriate response. Yesterday I was over the moon when I handed her to a friend in a cafe while I got the high chair and she screamed, the full on silence before the cry scream -because she hasn't shown any separation anxiety/stranger danger type response until the past couple of weeks.
Vic, Kyson went through a couple of months where he didn't grow much. Actually, according to my wiiFit he actually lost some weight in half a month. And I don't think he got any taller. And then all in a few weeks he went from being able to walk under my desk without hitting his head, to being a couple of cm's taller than my desk. Having said that, he's still only about 75cm, so CJ is not much shorter. I think that they probably just go through growth spurts in their own time now, and maybe CJ is coming up to one soon, whereas Kyson just had his... Oh, even the girls at mother's group today said that they thought Kyson looked slimmer, so perhaps he's either lost some weight again, or maybe he's gained a bit of height and just looks slimmer *shrugs* In any case, I don't think either of us really need to worry about our bubs weight or height :)
it is true he did say every time he tried to look he couldnt see anything hanging there but oh well i guess i'll get a surprise when they are born now i just have to decide on a boys name JIC and im going to be sneaky and buy some pink stuff and then if i have a boy i might give it to someone else lol maybe u krystie :)
Jacinta - Sorry to hear that they couldn't tell you for sure what sex bubba is. Would you consider doing one of those 4d scans? I did one with Kyson and we loved it so much that we are going to do it again. I think it's pretty rare for them not to be able to tell during the 4d scans because they scan for much longer so the baby moves more, and they have nice high resolution machines and also the bub is quite a bit older (and has more noticeable bits, lol). Only downfall is the cost :( In any case, I still have my fingers crossed for a girl for you!

Krystie - Sorry to hear MS has come to visit, and on top of a sick household. Sounds like your HCG levels are rising nicely and Apple Blossom is growing well.
Vic - looking through your FB photo's I'm guessing your Sydney holiday was lots of fun. Good luck with your return to work. Is DH going part time like you'd mentioned? Sean is starting to fret a little about returning to work (going through all the feelings I had 3 months ago so I totally feel for him). I think he is going to be devo on his first few days back as he and Bailz have so much fun together. His time off has just flown, he only has 5 of 18 weeks left :( Hope you see a bit more cartilidge in the next scan of CJs hips, obviously the news is positive if you don’t have to go back for 6 months
Bridg - how did Logan's birthday go? I can't believe all these babies are ONE!! Just Jemima to go now. Hope you enjoyed your sister staying :)

Amy - the meringues looked fab, what a clever girl you are! Loved the rubber ducky cake too, how on earth did you shape it? I hear you on being tired, I swear I am getting by on cups of tea and autopilot. On top of my already busy workload and home life I had to attend a two day course in the city on wed/thurs (which was great) and I remembered why I will never work in the city - traffic!! Love life in the 'burbs! Hope your holiday is lotsa fun, cant wait to hear all about it! I hate winter too, I miss the warmth!
Cathy - what a great idea with the butterflies for Cara's birthday, looks like she had fun (and enjoyed every bit of that chocolate crackle!!) Nice work catching Cara’s steps on video – what a little legend!

AFU - Bailey had a mild case of pharangytis this week, but I think he is over it as of today. We went to a 1yo birthday party on Sunday and he caught it from one of my Mothers group babies. I guess I better get prepared for more bugs with childcare in July, but he usually shrugs stuff off pretty easily. Speaking of child care, although I have a place for him, I really want to get him into a particular centre but they currently don't have Wednesdays avail, but after a bit of sweet talking the CCC director has put me on top of the list. Hoping something comes up before mid July. She said to ring each week to see what’s happening. As he starts when school goes back from holidays, I am hoping that some of the 4 yo’s leave to start that school term, then some kindy kids will move up, which will hopefully mean some toddlers move up leaving me a space in the baby room!! Fingers crossed as its literally across the road from work, I can look out the window and see the centre.
Bailey's current 'cute' thing is to say "uh oh" when he drops a toy or topples over etc, its super cute!! Since using the high chair we are just putting all his food on his high chair tray and at the moment his favourite foods are broccoli, pumpkin (always has been), strawberries, kiwi and banana. Loves all his meat too which is good. He loved the lamb shanks I cooked a few weeks ago and seemed pretty darn impressed with my stroganoff too, I think I have a mushroom fan on my hands. We are keeping Arnotts in business with his love for YOYO biscuits. I keep singing him the old YOYO song but am missing some words "Milk becomes butter and they're all .......... in .......... Arnotts YOYO, eggs by the dozen and runny honey from busy bees, for biscuits like, granma used to make ....." Remember it girls?
I’ve almost finished Bailey’s photobook, just need to steal a few photo’s from my Mums memory card and its off to the printers!
Other than that, I am just hanging in there until my part time starts. Next week is my last week of 5 days! Although I technically still have 5 weeks of full time, we have one week where the public holiday falls, one week where I have an RDO as working the Saturday, one week where I have AL as my bro and family are visiting from Shepparton and then the last week I have a birthday leave day (Optus give you a paid day off for your birthday- nice!!)

Vic, I've just had a look at DS' blue book, and at 12 months he was 73cms. His length at birth was 52.2cms. He grew 6cms between 6 and 12 months.
He was also only 8.4 kgs at 12 months but his head was 47.8cms. LOL he was my little lollypop boy. Now, he is pretty average weight, above average height and still has a reasonable sized head but nothing crazy. His growth patterns were all crazy, but he got there in the end. Allira is just an amazon baby, which I think she gets from her Aunty ( My sister is pushing 6ft).
I know it's hard not to worry, and if you are genuinely concerned, I would recommend going to see someone, but Lachie followed no average with anything he did, and still doesn't. LOL.

Allira's still not well. Throwing up all night and we've had bugger all sleep. We were up at 3am until 5am with showers, clothes changes and just trying to calm her down. Poor little girl... it's a little bit scary. I think if she's still the same way tomorrow arvo, then it's time to go and see someone because it will have been 72 hours since she started.
Had so much planned for the weekend, but not anymore. LOL.

Hey Girls!
Well the blocked duct that I thought I had sorted, turned into mastitis. Had a dr come to the house sunday night (lady dr too!) and got the antibiotics at the chemist monday morning! I am starting to feel relief now. Though nipple still hurt when she feeds a bit. Doesn't help she loves to use her teeth on me (arghh this is how it all starts..teeth cut, cause infection)...
Vic: I don't own an electric toothbrush (used to once), but thanks for the tip!! I never knew that one! :)
Nay: Yeah the butterflies were so cute. I was worried none would hang around..but the 4th one was friendly and we made him a star taking several photos chasing him all over the garden hehe Fun! She LOVED the chocolate crackles..me too I want to make more YUMMY! Cara is taking steps here and there every day, she still crawls a lot...but gaining a little confidence every day. In another month she should be full on walking! So cute! Poor thing, I undressed her in the bathroom the other day for her bath and didn't expect her to walk towards me, she fell on her little butt and cried...poor bubba. Used to soft carpet not tiles. She is starting to climb!! onto things..little chairs, Laura's bed etc...never had a climber before...a bit scary!! Shes a cheeky one this baby!
Nicky: I'm sorry to hear Allira is still not well..I hope she makes a speedy recovery!!
Jacinta: I was told at the ultrasound for Cara (crossed legs) that their policy was they never told you if you were having a boy unless they were CERTAIN! (so I always assumed bub may be a girl....though they never said so as crossed legs). Ofcourse the main thing is that bub is healthy! My friend never got to tell the sex of her first two babies as they had crossed legs..she had girl, then boy. So you never know..
Loving all the photos everyone posts on facebook!! Esp the birthday piccies..so sweet!! Now to sort out my photo book.....sooo many photos to sort through...
Feel cold, tired and grumpy today....Cara is tucked up in bed sleeping a decent sleep. I notice if I let her whinge/cry a bit longer, she sleeps better!! But if I pamper to her every need and try to get her to sleep, sometimes it takes 3 goes. I think it is true a little cry wears them out.
Nicky, Jade is about the same as your DS then!
she was born 51 cm, at her 8 month CHN checkup she was 72cm and 8kg and 12 month check was 73cm and 8.6kg so she only grew 1cm and not even 1kg in 4 months.

argh bad hour - my usually happy baby has just woken from a nap screaming blue murder - she was in pain somewhere - arching her back screaming, wanting cuddles, cracking it if we cuddled her - so NOT the little girl i'm used to! poor poppet - she seemed to be in so much pain - i was near tears trying to comfort her. not sure if it's teeth, sore tummy (extremely peeved at my mum - she gave her mild creamy curry for lunch - i don't mind a little bit of spicy food for her - but she's not had coconut before, and it is not something she should have been having without talking to me first!) - it might be a bit of the tummy upset DH and I have had lately, but it seems different... anyhoot - better go - we have a temporarily happy girl again so i want to try and get some dinner into her

Naomi - Yes DH is going part time working 3 days a week, and have got CJ into a daycare place for 3 days so we are ramping up starting in a couple of weeks to the full three days a week at daycare starting 12th July. Most of the time I feel pretty good about the decision but occasionally I feel guilty because with the redundancy money we could just about afford for me to stay home another year but then wouldn't be able to afford to have any further children for a long time and 2 years out the workforce would be quite limiting for me on a return - but then CJ would love a sibling am sure and she was full of smiles at the visit to the childcare centre today. Has Sean got any advice for Ryan about being main carer (although only 2 days a week). So just need to sort a job now!
Have to go for tea - back later I hope - fed up of this cold weather am really struggling to get nappies dry.
vic thats where i love having a wood fire it dries nappies overnight when we are sleeping but stains that need to be sunned out are going to have to wait till we get some sun lol by the way how are the books going? the previews look awesome
at the moment im just trying to come to terms with the fact we dont know the sex of the baby im looking forward to the surprise but there were gender specific things i was going to buy oh well i guess they can wait till after lucky the pram is black and the car seat is grey i was going to get a capsule but i cant justify the $250 just to go with the pram when i survived without one for jamie who knows hopefully i can get jamie into a bed soon so he doesnt feel pushed out by his sibling

Still here, just a bad poster atm ladies Aaron has been skipping most of his day sleeps and it is driving me nuts.
I think however it's my fault he has been sleeping with me for the last week at night, it's great I get a good night sleep....I just don’t know how to break the cycle.
Anyone else co sleeping atm?

Today on MSN there was this 2 year old Russian boy who has one of the worst cases of Hydro poor kid, just broke my heart. Money is being raised for him to be treated in Sydney :(
It just makes you feel so lucky for what you do have and some families in other countries are doing it really hard, we are fortunate with our health care in this country.
we PT co sleep. if it means we get rested we do it. she obviously needs it. i guess i dont see it as habit forming - she will eventually go in her own room! at the moment, she goes down in her own cot, and if she wakes up she comes into our bed for a feed and cuddles until she resettles in a deep sleep. if i fall asleep with her, she doesn't get moved again. it works for us. she knows her bed, and she knows the difference between our bed and hers. i know some people consider having the cot in the parents room a form of co sleeping - if thats the case, we co sleep full time!:
as i see it, you do what works. if you dont' feel comfortable co sleeping, then you work to make changes. if you're ok with it, you keep doing it. every family dynamic is different and you have to do what works for you. i have given up on discussing our choices with people - they're not necessarily going to agree and i don't want to have to justify it. WE have no issue, and WE are the only people that need to worry about it!
i so hear you! e has four molars and one of her front teeth on the move!! she rarely complains but i can tell it is hurting by her sleep and eating habits...:

We do from mid morning and pretty much have since I went back to work (actually a bit before that), we do it to be honest out of pure laziness as rather than spending the time resettling we know he will fall to sleep straight away in our bed. (and then we get more sleep too)
Bailey is going through a bit of a change atm with his sleeping, he has started to self settle (he had never done this before) but will only self settle for morning nap and bedtime, I dont know what sparked the change other than the fact that he seems more confident and happy out of the brace so is less needy and happy on his own? He is so uninterested in his arvo nap but I think he still needs it, so Sean usually lays with him on our bed and they both have an afternoon nap LOL. If he misses it though he is coping well. I think it may only be another few weeks or maybe a month before he drops it all together and the morning nap become a bit later (and hopefully longer).

Naomi- still on schedule for a visit at the end of october and early November. the wedding is on the 30th of Oct.
Nicole- we still cosleep part of the morning like the other girls. I think you sound like you are going with your instincts and that is great. Do what works. When you think he is ready to go back you will know and he will go fine. We are planning to move Jemima soon and TBH I think that when we moved she moved just fine to a new room and new sounds without really a moments bother. We are going to do it cos DH really has to sleep well to study and work fulltime and so it has to be done. Really glad to hear DS's HC has remained stable. Very happy for you all.

Well CJ is at occasional care for three hours and I should be getting things in order but I am chilling with a coffee after going into a mild panic about how difficult it is going to be to get CJ to childcare and me to work in the mornings! I must get more organised, she is going for 1 day one week then 2 days the next before the full three so I must really try approach those like I would need to when working - it looks like DH has got his shifts fixed so he will be starting early and finishing at 4 so he will be able to do the pick ups which is great. When she was little and was just really breastfeed then out simple, but now with breakfast seems to take so lo-ong - she got to occasional care at 9:15 so not bad but I wasn't showered or even brushed my hair (doesn't bother me now but for work I will need to be more presentable!).
Curbing my BB addiction would be a start and save me a few mins I am sure!
Nicole - If CJ wakes up before 6:30 but after 5:00 she comes in with us, and we usually get a nice lie in - in the middle of the night if I have to get up more than 3 times she comes in with us. I like sleeping next to her but she hogs a lot of room, and I am having problems with my hip which have had since she was born and I think sleeping funny is making it worse. But sleeping next to her in our bed day or night is always what I do if I really need her to sleep and fancy some shut eye myself too.
Bella - All depends on what I get work wise, if I get a permanent job that offers a decent maternity package then I will probably wait to make sure can qualify for that (or at least qualify for the gov maternity scheme perhaps - although I am not that impressed with that one). I need to make sure my thyroid levels are ok, and also want a couple of months off the mini pill first (I still haven't really had an AF, I am hoping that is due to the mini pill, I haven't been consistently feeding CJ overnight for about 8 months now so would be surprised if was the breastfeeding) - so TTC won't be any sooner than beginning of 2011 anyway. If I get contract work then will just be waiting for start of 2011. 6-8 weeks ago I felt really quite desperate to have another baby pretty soon, but now desire is much less perhaps is because I am realising how much work it will be working full time again. Anyway my sister had a dream I had twins too, a boy and girl this time and we called them Sol Fox and Emily Aimee (not very fussed about those names)!
Jacinta - I am sure bub 2 will behave and you won't have to have a c-section. Books coming on well, just waiting for material with latest pics to come back (I now have everyone thanks) - I am going to send them out in alphabetical order of babies names (we don't want Jemima to always be last!). The time taken to receive the material is about 3 weeks at the moment, and the fluctuations in the US dollar to AU dollar, plus me going back to work fulltime have led me to decide can't really do as much of a business but I am going to do as a hobby for people to fund my own craft purchases (will send everyone details via FB).
CJ is trying really hard to get up on her knees into crawling position, so she might make my 12 July target for crawling yet, she is mega chatty this week and happy (apart from the distress over removal of chicken bones!), she has also discovered she has knees, before when stood up she would hold her legs rigid and straight but now she just wants to bounce all the time I am happy about that but is much more tiring!

Oh we are going to the zoo on the 20th - are we still planning to go there for next meet up? If so is there anything people want me to scope out?
i have been thinking abotu the next meet up too - maybe we should get some chatter happening on the fb event so as not to clog up BB for those not coming!
