Question out of the blue, does anyone else consider their mum to be their best friend??
Seriously ladies.. my mum is easily my bestie, and she is going away for a wedding this weekend (i was invited too, but the kids wern't so we declined). and i'm already dredding the weekend, BORING! We will probably hang out with some of DHs friends, who's wife is seriously hard work. I find our convo's exhausting. She's CONSTANTLY b*tching about people, and judging them, its such an effort. hmph....
dont even know where that little outburst came from? haha
shayna - i know.. the addiction is ridiculous right?! I need to have my daily fix or else i can't function! haha
Dont stress about little abster, im sure she is fine. Can you ask your DH to take over one night this weekend?? Sounds like you need a proper sleep  Murphys law tho, on that night she'll sleep like an angel! grr! ;)
mel - mmmm zuchini slice -im such a fan! Think i might whip one up for dinner tonight. I better go get another load of washing in too. but bb... oh laundry can wait!
AFM - Last night i tried to earn housewife of the year and failed completely! I had a cry about it and all. My plan was to have dinner and muffins, and a clean house for when chris got home. Muffins, done! (Really elaborate recipe that i would never really try... even had pepitas in it!! WTF ARE PEPITAS~?! bahahaha!! ). Then cleaned the house. Started on dinner, a kinda salmon bake thingo (ww recipe). Just as i was adding the white sauce and the pasta together, theo started cracking it. Went to him, burnt the ***** out off the food. The whole house smelt soo bad of burnt food! So i cleaned again. Started again. Everything was going well until i put the can of salmon into the mix. I'm not one for salmon, tuna... i've never cooked with it to be honest, so i know nothing about it. But there were bones EVERYWHERE!!! ALLL THOUGH IT!?! Is that normal?! So i ended up throwing it out too :( AND i burnt my hand as well. Then DH came home in the mix of it all. The kitchen looked like a bomb had hit. Smelt of burning. Both kids were crying, it was 6pm neither had been fed of bathed. and i was crying. ... hahahahaha. Ahh i can laugh about it now!
So he ended up taking over. cooked sausages, then he bathed the kids, and then he fed them (after a 14 hour shift). ahhh housewife of the year?>? i think not.
love you all xx
Awwww Telly  Yes it is completely normal for bones to be in the salmon - they're actually really good for you. But I hate them myself, so I buy the tins that are skinless and boneless. They are more expensive, but then I don't have to worry about it :comfort:
And I don't know anyone who is housewife of the year, so please don't try again, or else I might feel like less of a woman.. LOL
haha, thanks mel
So boneless and skinless ones exist? If only i had known!
Might give it another try this weekend :)
Definitely exist. I have a coles brand salmon skinless and boneless in the pantry at the moment, so they definitely exist.
Gosh girls, sounds like we're all having a tough week! Telly, your post made me chuckle but I also feel terrible for you, at least you tried, your intentions were very good - that sort of thing happens to me don't worry. Amelia still has a cold and I'm still getting crap sleep, I don't know what else to do, she coughs and wakes up and won't re-settle unless I cuddle her, I can't lug a nearly 7 month old up and down the hallway for half an hour crying like I used to, I'm so tired and exhausted!!!! DH is away tonight too, mind you, he hasn't got up to help much anyway, he has to get up for work, apparently that seems to be the reason for it. Grrrrr.
Just popping in to say hi. I've been catching up by reading but at the moment that seems enough for me. Plus I'm hardly ever on my computer, only my phone and it takes too long to write messages. But I still love you all xx
Hi Ubes - we miss you! Hope you are well beautiful. xx
Hi Ladies!
Bec: Good to hear from you! You are such a busy lady i don't blame you for not having time to log on too often! How is Ruby doing? Hope she is feeling better xxx
Telly: That is sooo great that you have that kind of relationship with your mummy! I am one of nine children so my mummy has to spread the love between all of us so, while we are very close, we only see eachother a couple of times per week. This baby will be my mum and dad's EIGHTEENTH grandchild so none of the grandkids really get the "Granny and Grandad" experience either! They still have an 8 year old and an 11 year old so they have never really had a break without kids!
I also had a friend like your DH's friend's wife! All she did was b*tch, b*tch, b*tch and i felt like a horrible person after visits from her just for listening to that crap!! I distanced myself from her cos she was so exhausting... She found me on Facebook though and wants to catch up again! EEEEEK! Sorry about your failed attempt at housewife of the year, You'll ALWAYS be housewife of the year in my eyes
Alison: Darn nasty, horrible cold! Poor little Amelia... and YOU! Is the vapouriser still doing the job? Archie was very blocked up last night too and kept waking up cos he couldn't breathe properly! It is so awful! My hairdresser recommended one of those nose-snot-sucker-outerer thingy-majiggy's... i hope you know what i mean! She reckons she used it all the time with her bub and it was awesome. I've got one so i'll try it tonight if i have to.
Mon: I've been using my dryer everyday! I dread to think what my power bill is going to be like!
Mel: Salmon has bones?! You're so learned.... haha! I've never even tried salmon in a can! What a sheltered life i have lived! How did your nappies turn out after soaking them? OOOH and how do you make zucchini slice?? I love it but have never made it myself...
Shayna: I gave Archie egg today after reading that you had! He wasn't interested. Actually the only thing he was interested in today that i offered him was mandarin! I just peeled off the outer skin and the thin skin around each segment (IYKWIM) and gave it to him and OMG he DEMOLISHED it! He is quite fussy, well, not really fussy, but doesn't really like eating too often. Some days he will hardly eat a thing and other days he pigs out! I never even thought to offer him a sandwich!! Might do that tomorrow, Thanks!! It is hard to think of things to offer them isn't it!?
Sarah: When is the big POAS day!? Let us know so we can mark each day off our calendars!! haha!!! How exciting! ANOTHER friend told me she was preggers today! It's CRAZY! There are soooooo many babies on the way!
Hello everyone else!!
AFM: I have been cleaning all day and it's so nice to have a clean house for once!! It even smells really nice cos i bought myself one of those electric oil burners and am burning YlangYlang, Patchouli and Orange...... MMMMmmmMMMmmMMM! I love YlangYlang and i even love saying it..... YlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlang YlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlang!
Archie has a stuffy nose and was so angry about it last night! I lost count of how many times he woke up crying! Poor little poppet :( Will try the Boogey sucker tonight...
OOh i bought an old Mountain Buggy out of the Quokka for $60 just to use around our property! I love it! Archie loves it too! I also bought a Silver Cross Stroller to use when we go out so i am going to sell my good pram. I will need to buy a double in Jan so i may as well just sell mine while it is still in excellent condish.
Hmmmm what else? DH isn't working at the moment so we are getting heaps done around our property and it's starting to look really nice! We are also building a little room (about the size of a study) in the corner of our living area (this corner was a complete waste of space and was used as a dumping ground!) and it is going to be Archie's little room til he is old enough to move right down the other end of the house and then it will be little baby's room! So we are turning our house from a 3 bed to a 4 bed which will add heaps of value! Woohoo! I am so lucky that DH is so clever and handy! But unlucky that he is so obnoxious and annoying, and NOT working! hahahaha!
OMG you have no idea how many words i have just gone back to fix the spelling of! What the heck is wrong with me today!?
I took Archie to the MCHN yesterday as i have a few concerns about him. He has not been trying to crawl at all and also holds his arms behind him (as if counter-balancing) when i hold him on my hip and i am a little concerned that the broken collarbone is affecting his development. She has given me a questionare (how DO you spell that?!) to fill out over a week and then she'll assess him based on my answers. He has also been referred to an Audiologist because he has dimples in his ears (in that cartledgey bit just down from your temple that people sometimes get pierced, IYKWIM) on both sides and seems to over react to noises, even noises that aren't even that loud. So i am a little bit worried..
I have another appointment in a week. I am choosing to believe he will be fine.
Well i had better go, my family are all watching Top Gear without me!!
Love you all
Kym xx
Hi Kymmy - was just thinking about you, how weird, you must have Perth ESP! Hows your belly going? Re the snot sucker, yep, got one of those, it comes with the Fess for Little Noses box, she didn't mind it the first couple of times but absolutely HATES it now and kicks up a major fuss as soon as she sees it, poor petal. Sorry Archie is the same, isn't it hard seeing them wake with a blocked nose, I hate it myself so it upsets me to see Millie the same. I bought a fresh tube of Eukybear Rub today and a different saline spray called Flo that you can spray at any angle - I have to do it when she's just about asleep otherwise she won't let me near her. The more upset she gets, the more her nose snots up and I don't want her to end up with a phobia about sinus spray lol. Good luck with sleep tonight, I'm hoping to get some too. Amelia fell asleep through her last bottle tonight, she finished it but it meant I was able to put her down with no fuss and so far not a peep from her, but it usually hits around 3.00 am so we shall see tonight! I've got the heater on as it's been so cold today, it was only 16 in her room last night so wondered if that didn't help with the cough - I've got it on low at 21 degrees so we'll see how that goes. As for Archie's ears, my sister in law is an audiologist so if you want to either see her or ask me to find out who to see let me know. She's in Perth too. But now you say that, re the dimples, Amelia gets that when she smiles just on one side, it's only little but it's like a dimple sort of near her temple, she doesn't react to funny noises but she does have that one side, cripes, I'd best call my SIL and ask!!!!!
DH is down at the block putting the heating in tonight, back tomorrow, so it's just me, sleeping (hopefully ALL night wink wink Amelia) and my 2 dogs, one of whom is snoring away. I had a lovely bath and a read of my book and now I'm going to pop the kettle on and flick through the telly to see what crap is on tonight! lol
Have a great night everyone. xx
Hey there Mrs Kymmy! Oh how I love your posts :D I've been distancing myself from that wife, but its a bit hard. She sent me a text during the week to have a b**ch about people we know, and I still haven't replied. I know exactly what you mean, I always feel guilty after seeing her - just listening to the crap that comes out of her mouth must make me just as bad. :( I hope everything works out with Archie, he's such a little trooper. Isn't it strange that they can pick things up from something as simple as a dimple? bizare! A friend of mine had a DD who had a certain line on her palm (like the creases on yours on mine), and the DRs were worried she had down syndrome. Blew me away that something so simple could indicate something else (BUT you need not worried, she is a perfectly healthy little girl - just like what will happen with our little man x). Let us know how it all goes, k?
Wow too, 9 kids!! How many do you want, out of curiousity? I'm one of two, and always wanted more siblings - so naturally i always told myself i'd have atleast 3 babies!
Another pram hey?! Feeding that addiction I see? hahaha :) And awesome news that your hubby is building a new room! DH has been working his handy tricks around our house too, it's looking awesome!
Ubba - :hello:
Ali - Gee you're little girl is having a tough time at the moment :( Have you been taking her to swimming still? Bet you're inlaws are giving your grief, especially now she's not well :wall: I wonder if its teething related
Natty and Sarah - Waiting... waiting... waiting!! Need to see some piccies please!
AFM - Putting DD to bed tonight getting all sentimental. Time goes so quickly. I'm so worried that memories are going to get fuzzy. I always try and replay her birth, and DS's birth in my mind. Such an incredible time, and experience. I just went through her baby photos and got a bit teary eyed. Man I love my kids. :heartbeat:
xxoo

Ali! How's my little FDIL coming along?? Sick I hear, poor bubba!! I know it's hard but just try the "This too shall pass" mantra - You know sooner rather than later she'll be back to her all night sleepies, she's up and down like a yoyo with her sleep little Miss Amelia but you always get variety!! Fingers crossed you get a good night's wink tonight :) xoxox
KYMMY! You gorgeous thing! I can't wait till you announce the big news on FB coz I am killing to see your belly pics!!! I thinky our DH and mine sound very familiar - They even have the same motorbike, GSXR750 yea?? Ours is a 2000 model, I bought it for him as a little pressie before Cruz arrived... I am sure Archie is going to be just fine! He is too perfect! Let us know how you go :) xox
Sarah - When is this shop opening?! You better have some online shopping happening! How was the meet with Natty? We are all so jealous and waiting to hear all about it!! GIve your gorgeous T & H snuggles from me, they are too cute those babies!! Stil in love with their wee noses!
Ditto to you Natty! How was it? Are you back from VIC yet?? Oooo can't wait for your preg news too! So exciting! Are you back at work already??
Ubba - Last night was fun! Thankyou! Still have to respond to your email too! How is Ruby feeling now? Any better?? Hope all is well!
Sorry they aren't too in depth honey pots, have a bazillion things running throug my head, will def make it back over the weekend to catch up more... Just know even though I am not as active as everyone else on BB I absolutely adore the lot of you and think about you always!!!!
Better get to bed, have our little Niece & Nephew's 1st and 3rd Birthday Party tomorrow morning, I am excited for Cruz, he's really started getting into other kids now and loves watching them and giggling with them, so cute! He LOVES his cousin Jakey, nothing gets his attention more.. Except aybe Daddy, he's a Daddy's boy... Ooo and he's started crawling now too!! Well, pulling himself up and rocking out one of two movements, but learning fast!!
Love you all precious girls, catch up soon xoxoxox
snap!
I think all three of us just posted at once!
LOL we did how freaky is that!
Just quick response...
Hi Telly - I didn't take Amelia swimming this week, I've only got 2 weeks left that I've paid up for, I've decided not to continue after that until summer....I might take her up to one of the public indoor pools myself every now and then but I've decided there's no need for her to do this right now. With winter it's too cold getting her in and out, the teacher is a rude cow anyway and in all honesty "bad for the lungs" aside the last couple of times I've noticed how itchy I have been for a few days afterwards so it can't be good for her skin let alone mine. I've had a good think about it and I think I was just being stubborn because I wanted to do whatever the inlaws didn't want me to do lol.......but in hindsight I do understand DH's point and I don't think it's necessary to do it right now, it's the same thing every week anyway, I can do it myself whenever I want and I can do it at times that fit in with her schedule, at the moment I'm going to have to wake her as her morning nap overlaps with the swimming class.
Hi Alicia - Millie is a little unwell but she's getting there. I hope her BF is sending her kisses to make her feel better hee hee. Are you ok? If you want to talk you can always send me an FB message. Love you lots.
Love you all lots.
xx
OMG Ali!! I LOVE the new photos of amelia in the pram!
How beautiful!!! xxoo
Thanks Telly, I took them today at the park across the road from my house....she was a bit snotty faced but still cute I thought. I actually was filming her clapping and this girl who I think was a little, how shall I say.....well I think she was a little mentally impaired was walking her dog and asked if I wanted her to take a photo. I was a bit unsure of passing over the new $900 camera but we chatted for a bit and she said hello to Amelia and Amelia started waving, I've been trying to teach her all week, how funny is that. Some stranger got her to wave!!! I wanted to upload the latest vids onto FB but it doesn't like the format on this camera so will have to convert them first, who can be bothered!
Gosh I crap on lol.
Thanks for the lovely comments, you're so sweet and it's a compliment coming from you as you're kids are just the most beautiful ever! hee hee
OMG Ali! I just looked at your new pics too! My gosh she is one DIVINE baby!! I was holding Archie while i was looking at he was making this "ooh" sound as if to say "ooh, she's alright" haha! It was sooo funny! Archie's dimples are a permanent fixture. They kinda look like he used to have earrings in there but the holes are closing over. What is your SIL's name? I am being referred to somewhere in Midland (i think).
Alicia: Hope everything is OK... love you and are here for you ALWAYS xxxx and yes DH has a GSXR750 his is a 90 anniversary model. But he is selling it to buy a Harley! A 883 Iron.... DAMN SEXY BIKE!
Telly: I really don't know how many kids i'd like! I don't really have alot of patience (i'm getting much better though! Kinda have no choice  ) but after i had Archie i honestly felt like i wanted about six kids! Realistically though, that would mean a new house, a minivan (I REFUSE too own a minivan!!) and probably no hair left on my head!!
Crap, i gotta go!
Goodnight! xx
heya lovlies
just a quick one, sorry ive been mia....opening hennie and fox TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

IT WAS FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!
sorry girls, oh god it was great. i felt like we were old friends and the day could have gone on forever. Man natty, you are even more fab in person! gee i feel so lucky to have met you xox
although i looked like a right idiot and worst mother in the history of mankind when my pram tipped and harper bumped her head, bad parenting 101 there
but we just walked around the museum and talked, so tully would be entertained, then sat with a coffee for a while before we went home. It was so so nice. and man V is so so so so super adorable in real life too! gosh she is just delicious!
Tully warmed to natty real quick too, he is a great judge of character and wont go to just anyone.

:loveshower: Good luck for today Madame!! :loveshower:
I'm still incredibly green with envy! I'm TOTALLY keen on Kymmy's idea to organise a date, so we can all start saving, and meet somewhere :D
Hi Kymmy - oh shucks thank you, I think we all have gorgeous bubbas but sometimes I do look at Amelia and think, hmmmm she is kinda pretty - obviously didn't get that from me lol! That's so cute Archie went ooooh, hee hee how funny! He's a cutie pie that boy of yours for sure! Re the dimples, I see what you mean, Amelia's is literally like a dimple, it only appears when she smiles, odd place for one though isn't it lol. She has one on her left cheek but it's the teeniest little dimple I've ever seen, I'm sure it will fade as she grows. I have one too but mine has faded as I've gotten older as well. As for my SIL, her name is Kate Lewkowski and she works for the Lions Hearing Institute. Seriously, if you want to go see her let me know and I'll find out what you need to do. Or I can ask her about the one you're going to see in Midland. I think she's out Nedlands way so a bit further for you to go than Midland I guess. If you don't feel comfy after seeing that person let me know, sometimes it's good to get a second opinion. Kate's dad and brother are also audiologists so I think she's pretty good, it's in the blood.
Hi Madame - oooh brown spotting is definitely one of the signs of implantation......can't wait till you POAS! How exciting! And just as exciting you're opening your shop tomorrow and I'm with Alicia, I hope you're going to have online shopping as well!! Pretty plllllllease. I'm so glad your meeting with Natty went so well, how exciting for you, can't wait to see the pics. I think we should all pick a spot and arrange a meet up one day, can you believe I've never really been over East - how sad is that! I've been to Sydney airport and Melbourne airport on the way to/from NZ but never left the airport and I haven't been to SA or Queensland at all. Sorry folks, I HATE flying and it used to be cheaper to fly to Asia from WA than to go over East. My friend who's a child psychologist has given me the name of one of her colleagues who is WA's top psych for dealing with flying phobias so I'm going to go see him. I really want to go back to NZ as I loved it so much but the flying part stops me from wanting to go. I have flown, been to Singapore, Phuket and Penang, Broome (for honeymoon) and NZ but that's it, I could never go to Europe or the US with the way I feel, that is WAY too long to sit on a plane and freak out about crashing and dying. lol
AFM - well yay girls I don't want to say it outloud but Amelia had a much better night! She fussed a little around the usual 3.00 am time frame but I just went in, patted her bum, gave her her dummy and she went back to sleep, wahoooooo! She breathed much better last night too so I think that was the key. All I did different was buy a fresh tube of Eukybear Rub and I gave her 2 of the Hylands teething tabs instead of 1 - I didn't realise you were meant to give them 2.......plus I had the heating on so it was 21 degrees, nice and cosey. Anyway, I don't want to get my hopes up incase I jinx myself for tonight but she evens seems better today. I hope so, 1 week of it is enough for her poor petal.
Well, she's whinging so I think she's done her morning poo so best run. Talk later. Have a fab day beautifuls! xx
Hi Girls,
Just wanted to quickly say goodluck to Sarah for tomorrow! I'll be there with you in spirit holding your hand!! Can't wait til POAS day! WOOHOO! Sounds like you and Natty had a great time! Can't wait to see pics!!!
Telly: I agree! Lets make a date!
Alison: You are BEAUTIFUL! Of course Amelia gets her good looks from you! I'll let you know about the Audiologist that i get referred to. Thanks for that honey
Better go, Brit has Netball soon. It's so funny, I'm watching her out the window on her quad bike, DH has got a bonfire going and Brit is tying massive branches to the back of her bike and dragging them to the bonfire! Sooo funny! She is such a bush kid!
Have a lovely weekend my Iced Vo-Vo's xxxxx
oooh quad bike, DH wants to get Amelia a mini quad bike for the farm lol.......wonder if you can get pink ones lol.
Love you Kymmy, you're so sweet. Iced Vo-Vo....I haven't had one of those for years!
xx
Yes you can get pink ones! Dh has been looking for one for Archie since he was born!!
Yes, I might pick me up some iced vo-vos.... Mmmmmmmm.
hi ladies i miss you all but stupid phone is a pain to type on. i'll try to catch up on personal next time and contribute properly.. i can't wait to tell you about our meet up it was so great :) love you all x x
Hi girls,
Just a quick question...
Does anyone remember how much their baby slept at around 12 weeks?
I'm really worried about my cousins baby, he sleeps 12 hours over night then is only awake for an hour then naps for 3-4 hours then awake for an hour then asleep again for 3-4 etc etc... He is asleep more than awake, even during the day.
It doesn't seem right to me, does it to you guys?
I'll be back tomorrow, goodnight xxxx
Hey girls
Sorry Kymmie I lost my memory a coupler kids ago
Well all kids slept through last night and I was up til 4 am with BAD stomach pains really bloated and gassy it was horrid never eating a whole pizza then a banana again,
Still feeling thd same just not as painful just uncomfy
Haha mon you're funny!! The banana must have pushed you over the edge!
Pmsl Mon, you are so funny :) Stoopid fruit! lol
Ok Im not sure how long I have for this, things here are pretty hectic now dh is here, lots of visiting etc so trying to get internet time is pretty rare until I go home on Wednesday...
Ok not sure what everyone has written but...
Kymmy... Mine definately did not sleep like that but I think it is still within the normal ranges...some kiddies are just snoozy like that...God I hope my next one is..
Alison, Im glad Amelia seems to be going better. I have seen your fb status and felt sorrt for you, sleep deprivation is not nice in any form...
Madame I hope the opening of Hennie and Fox went well! Photos please! Oh and I was stoked the other day to meet you and your little family too :) Bahaha on mother of the year awards, at least you can Navigate! I dont know why I got the map f the museum Its clear a map is useless to me.... (for everyone else I got lost going off the west gate bridge in Melbourne then sweated like a pig for about an hour in the car trying to find my way to the Museum as I had forgotten my Navman... I was so lost and in the middle of a city with noone to help with the map or driving it was hillarious if you think ppl panicking and driving aroound in circles is funny...) Im so in awe of how patient and kind you are and how you can juggle all of your responsibilities :)
Bec!!!! We so missed seeing you there how darn unfortunate thet Ruby got sick on the eve of our big ole reunion! Things here are so busy and I dont think Ill be able to come see you but Im thinking I might be able to come again this year and if I do we can meet up again!!
Ok so now I have to go again but I might be back later as SIL has given me the password to the computer xx
I'm so jealous I missed the meet, of all the times she could have got sick. Kids!?! Haha I knew you would be flat out natty, just thought I'd try my luck and get you out here! Maybe next time you are here we could all go on the Puffing Billy. The kids would love it!
Sarah I really hope the opening of hennie and fox went well, looking forward to hearing about it. I'm going to ballarat next week - I'll look at detouring past your way and see the shop myself!
Mon your post didn't show up on my phone but it sound like it was funny based on the other replies. I'll just laugh anyway so I feel included haha!
Kym how's the belly going? You must be worried about Archie, he'll be right though xx. What's that I read about him making noises over Millie?? Might have to have a stern talking to him ha!
Well, ruby is getting better, she still has a nasty cough but her nose isn't green anymore. She is getting very fast with her comando-ing and makes all sorts of squealing noises. Oh and she waves!! It's that gorgeous backwards wave, naww I just wanna eat her.
I went to bed to feed ruby at about 8.30 tonight and woke up at 11! Now it's almost 12 and I'm wide awake. Thank god for wireless Internet on my phone.
Well, I'm going to go back onto fb - my new favorite place to go shopping. Seriously there are some awesome businesses on there, I have bought heaps…
Night night xxx
Hi Kymmy - hmm that sounds a bit much for your cousin's baby re the sleeping. I mean, Amelia was sleeping through the night without a feed at that age but she was not sleeping without waking at all and she certainly didn't sleep for 3-4 hours at a time during the day after only being awake for 1 hour. Maybe he's just a big sleeper like some are catnappers. You know that girl from work who annoys me, well her baby is 9 weeks younger than Amelia so she's about 5 months old and she's still in 000's and is 1.5 kgs lighter than Amelia was at that age. I know every child is different and Amelia's not exactly on the small side (lol) but her baby too slept a lot from a very early age and lots during the day, considering she is BF'd as well it's not what I would expect. Her baby has only been putting on 65 grams a week the last month which the health nurse wants to keep an eye on. She doesn't seem concerned but I personally am wondering if it's because she wasn't fed enough earlier on when they need it to grow etc. She was letting her baby go 8 hours at night without food from 4 weeks on, you know how babies can sleep a lot if you let them but you need to wake them to feed them if they're not waking on their own.....well anyway that's my theory. So my question is, are they BF'ing or FF'ing and are they waking him to feed or letting him sleep? Babies who aren't getting enough food tend to be more lethargic that's all. I went the long way around for that didn't I! lol
AFM - well Amelia is all back to normal with her sleeping thank goodness, well this week anyway! Last week took it out of me that's for sure and I'm still trying to catch up. She still has a little bit of a runny nose but she is breathing fine at night now and seems much happier. Her 2nd tooth popped on Saturday and instantly her sleeping went back to normal. You can't tell me teething and colds don't come together - I'm convinced....she had a cold the same week both teeth appeared. The doctors reckon it's crap but I think they just hate not being able to explain it! I might still keep her away from swimming tomorrow just to make sure she's well and truly over it. I'd hate to put her back to square on, poor thing was miserable last week. You don't realise until they're well again, she still managed to smile last week but she just seems so much perkier now.
Hope everyone's having a lovely week so far, I've got lots on this week, including a mini pedicure today, a birthday present from a friend. Can't wait, I desperately need it. Next on the list is my hair, badly needs a cut and colour, it's just finding the time, hard to get to the hairdresser with a baby these days!
Hello my lovelies!
Feels like forever since I wrote a nice long post, when really, it was probably less than 48 hours ago, haha, ahh I'm such an addict!
Shayna - You're FB status made me chuckle, because it is sooo darn true! I've found the best way to keep on top of the floor situation is, I only mop once a week, but I literally get on my hands and knees after each meal and hand wipe the dining room (well the part of it that our little family uses and gets dirty) with dishwashing liquid and warm water. Seems to work! Hurts my knees, but if it gets me out of having to get the mop and bucket constantly, I'm keen for it! How's little miss Abbey going? JD? Every time the kids play with the chickens, I think of you. hahaha! Oo which made me think, how many do you have, and how many eggs do you get a day? Out of curiosity? Won't be atleast another month before ours start to lay, but I can't wait! :D
Kymmy - How is your beautiful belly going?? Only one more week before you can officially announce the news! Can't wait to see some photos, I'm soo curious! How is Brit going with everything too? Still excited about the family growing? She is such a beautiful girl, i love her to bits and she doesn't even know me! haha! I loved reading your post about her riding the four wheeler helping collect firewood. I even told the story to DH at the dinner table the other night. He was ultra jealous. His mega mega dream is to win lotto and buy some property so our kids could have that type of life. You're children are going to be so well grounded and successful in life - how could the not with you as a mummy? ;)
Sarah - I've been stalking you a little bit! hehe! I keep heading over to your hennie and fox fb page to see if you've added anything! I can't wait to see photos, and fingers crossed some online shopping! :crossfingers: I'm so glad that you and Natty enjoyed your meetup! Must have been awesome! And don't stress about the pram incident, that happened to me when Kaili was a bubby. It was at a BBQ with these girls who I'm not that keen on, I was soo embarrased  Hopefully the week will fly by and we can all hear the POAS result :D Gosh you ladies know how to get me clucky! But its okay, you can all have some more babies for me to goo and gaa over, so I shouldn't have to have anymore for a while yet (atleast 2 more years). I hope you're taking time to relax every now and then, put your feet up and watch some Ellen (lol, I only say that cause its my fav)
Mon - I really got into that book hey! There is also another stephanie meyer book, the host. It was a bit of a struggle to get into, I remember the first line really threw me off - was so bizare! But I stuck to it, and gee... it was another bloody good read! I think I'm possibly just a S.M addict. haha. Can't believe how little your gal still is! How precious! Have you started her on solids yet? Hope you and your family are going great xo
Natty - You are one brave woman driving in the city! I'm so terrified of driving in cities. Its so foreign to me. I would have been sweating bullets too. Buggar that for a joke! So glad you girls had an excellent day. Great to hear you got Tully's seal of approval too, hehe! You're one special natty, thats for sure! Oo I also read on FB that you've got a crawling baby! Yey V! And how awesome is that, that she decided to start now while you guys are holidaying with family?! Great timing V! Any word yet of heading back to work? Or are you going to SAH for a while longer now you guys are casually TTC?
Suz - Hey matie! Haven't heard from you for a while. I hope those boys are well, and not keeping you too busy! Thanks for your comment on my FB photo too! I know what you mean, about you wouldn't have believed it had you not seen it. hehe! Its one of my biggest worries that you ladies will think i'm exagerating! haha! I promise I'm not! And although I am very proud of my little man, I really do wish he would slow down.. Having baby #3 for us is really uncertain, so he may be my last.. :(
Alicia - I just love the photos of Cruz on FB! He is such a little spunk rat! I know I am constantly saying it, but he is! How could I not! haha! I was also stalking your photos of fb aswell, looking at your wedding ones. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your dress! Its just beautiful, and suited you perfectly! Was your wedding big, small, medium? One of the photos of everyone kind of cheering, looked like it was small?? or was that just the photo? How did you do small? Did anyone get offended etc? Hope you're well xxoo
Alison - So glad to hear that miss amelia is feeling better! I know what you mean, drs say the teething/colds aren't related, but IMO they totally are! I hope she isn't like that for all her teeth, poor little possum :( Enjoy your pedicure today! How lovely! xxoo
Argh, GTG.
DH just got home for lunch, better pretend i've been cleaning, as opposed to bbing, hahah!
xxoo
yipee he's gone! hahaha!!
Okkay, where was I??
Bec - You are doing so well with your little business! I am totally loving the ones that I got. Kaili wore them out yesterday and got a couple of compliments from the old ladies shopping. She looked so darn cute, even if I do say so myself! Have you looked into organza bags? I think they would be super cute in them, for when people buy them as a gift especially!! You can get them dirt cheap too, from discount shops. Just a suggestion :) Glad to hear miss Ruby is feeling better too. Oo and how are the studies going? Super mum!
Mel - How's everthing going in your household!! I read your FB status too, about Aricyn playing guitar while Kelti danced, hahaha. Talk about super cute! And awesome that you got it on video! Normally when I pull the camera out, Kaili instantly notices and starts signing to impress me, or turns the lens around so she can see how beautiful she is  *sing* You're so vein... you probably think this song is about you.. hahaha. She is such a poser.. clearly takes after me
AFM - Not too much happening here. Wishing Theo would slow down. He is CONSTANTLY crawling after me, and climbing up my legs - starting to drive me insane! haha! I swear I'm not lying when I say he is starting to furniture walk, and occasionally lets go (but falls after about 1/2 seconds), and he can stand with his hip leaning against the couch, as he has both hands holding a toy giving it a good suck/explore. He is so different to Kaili.. I was reading her book the other night, she couldn't sit until she was 7 months, then crawled at 7.5. Annd thats about it really!
Hope you're all having a fabulous day, and love you all to pieces!
xxoo
Just quickly..
Heya Telly! Ah that's prob the pic of mine and Gary's family all together, that's the only cheering one... We actually had about 80 guests, but that was small compared to all the people we know.. We just had our family's (DH's is HUGE mine is tiny hehe) and close friends... Hard isn't it? We also had no children (except "non mobile" babies" as our reception venue had a massive flight of stairs and a big deck that dropped off into the water so wasn't safe for kiddies at all.. Wasn't really safe for drunk people either hahaha - I LOVED my dress as well! I have the big "it was fate" story with that dress! I found it only 5 weeks before my Wedding, was the last dress I tried on in a store I wasn't go to go to as it was the end of a LONG day Wedding Dress shopping and I was just over it, my Bestie's talked me into just one more Bridal store in Queen Street Mall and there she was the first dress on the first mannequin as we walked in the door, Immediately we all said Oh. My. God. And were totally in love with the dress but my Besties and the Bridal Assistant made me try on 5 other dresses I liked first, this dress was a designer's custom one off only of, never to be made again, I put it on after trying on the others, walked out of the fitting room to show my friends and EVERYONE in the shop turned to stare at me, my Besties started crying, I looked in the mirror and just knew OMG this is the one! It was totally a movie moment!! Bought it on the spot, had it altered down a size and a half and got the button up back changed to the satin ribbon lace up, went to ONE fitting with my alterations lady, picked it back up the morning before my Wedding Day and it was just perfect! I love it! It's hagning in my wardrobe right now and I still love it just as much!!
OMG Theo is gorwing up sooooooooooo fast!! Can't believe how mobile he is!! Clever little guy! I am just as besotted with him as you arw ith Cruz. I think they have similar features! We've gotta meet one day girly!! Do you get to Brisvegas much? I never get to Mackay anymore, used to every month when I lived in Townsville! OMG you should totaly come to Brisbane Wedding Dress Shopping!! Prob have a much better chance of finding your dream dress here than MKY and then we can meet!!!!! I would so totally show you all the Bridal Stores!! Aaaah my selfish dreams hahaha
If you're on FB tonight, hit chat up, I sooo want to hear all about your ideas! I am a Wedding nut, love love love them!! Love love love you too hehehe
Wow that wasn't quick, I am in the midst of cooking dinner so will be back soon!
Hi to everyone else, will def catch up with you all when I am back!! xox
Hi girls
Sorry it's selfish but I've started bleeding again. It's like CM streaked with red at the moment. Hoping to see doc in about an hour cos taking brit cos she rolled her quad bike yesterday. She's ok, just hurt her legs. She couldn't even walk yesterday, it was awful. I'll let u know how we go xxxxx
Hey kymmy, try not to stress. You're so close to that 12 week mark, I can't imagine anything going wrong now.
I had bleeding like that a couple of times with both kaili and theo. With Kaili it happened at 16 weeks, with Theo it happened quite a few times, up until 15/16 weeks.
Is it still too early to find the HB on a doppler?? That'd be good if you could. They could never find my babies with the doppler until around 16 weeks, but i have a lot more cushion than you, hehe.
I hope Brit is okay... tough chicken she is.
hope all goes well xxoo
Kymmy - try not to worry. I've heard of lots of ladies getting a bit of bleeding when their period would have been due - and at 12 weeks - thats one of the times. Huge hugs for Brit - hope she is ok.
Telly - thanks :) I tried to upload it but facebook didn't like me trying! Go theo - eden sitting up but thats about it...lol...
Alicia - are you sure you want to meet up in August? I mean, I'd understand if you didn't want to - I feel like a bit of an outsider in this group because I didn't go through the belly buddy stage with everyone, so I know thats why I'm not as close to everyone. So if you don't want to - its cool :) We haven't set a date to come up yet, think we leave here on the 4th August though and staying till the following Sunday so we get two weekends up there. Well I think thats the plan - DH keeps changing his mind.
Currently typing with one hand cos eden is wriggling around in the other hand. I've made so many mistakes. tell you what, when you spend a lot of time as a secretary and then made to type with the one hand - you're really crap at it.. LOL
Better go, Kelti hasn't had a nap today so she's in a rotten mood. Luckily I've already cooked dinner this morning so I don't have to do anything but turn on the hot plates!
oh kymmy im sure you will be fine. sending great big sticky vibes x
hope brit is ok too, shes one tough cookie
my spotting turned into af. dammit. was hoping to be up the duff secretly. at least now i can plan an accident next month tee hee hee

Big hugs Kymmie I'm sure it's nothing to worry about xxxx
Hi girls..
Not good news unfortunately. Went for u/s, baby had stopped growing at 9 weeks. We are all very sad. Dreading telling all the people that know. I knew something wasn't right but didn't want to admit it :(
Love you all, thanks for your love and support.. I seriously love you all.
Sarah, you were not insensitive at all xxxxxx
