Hi all,
I've been reading posts and then not posting myself. My situation seems so different I dont know what to say. It feels abit isolating. Jess is on medication now as we have tried so many things for her reflux and nothing is working. My typical day is I'm lucky if she has one decent nap a day, the rest of the time she fusses. Then at night it gets worse. From early evening or 9pm if I'm lucky the real crying starts and can go until 4-6am continuously. It's exhausting for both of us. DH was diagnosed with pneumonia a fortnight ago so we had to come to my mums place as it was dangerous for Jess. I've been doing all the nights on my own for weeks now as my parents help out during the day.
Anyway enough of a rant. I'm hoping the medicine will work and she grows out of it at 3 mths.
My MIL gets to me too! She was annoyed because I went to my mums and left DH at home. Mind u this was the only way he could get better. Julian was climbing all over him!! Then she told me Jess was a normal baby and I was overreacting. Then she didn't visit DH the whole time he's been on his own and she lives 2 streets away!! I've learned to tactfully defend myself when I can be bothered!
Amanda I hope you can resolve things with your DH. He talks to u terribly. My SIL is married to a guy that never let her have a say in anything and emotionally abused her by putting her down, calling her names etc. She wasn't happy at all. It caused her a lot of stress and I think this is what caused her breast cancer. She has two kids 6 and 9. It has gone to her lungs and brain. She prob won't last too long unfortunately. Look after yourself, don't take it. Sort it out if u can. It isn't good for kids either. I read a lot of Louise Hay, coincidentally my sil introduced me to it but she didn't make any changes in her life. Bullies can only be bullies if we let them. Sorry just had to say this stuff as you are so lovely and you don't deserve it hun
Hope everyone else and their bubs are well!
