It absolutely is right! Can you believe it? I actually cried about it today.
I have a great day planned for him. The boys are both looking forward to it.
A sounds like an absolute delight.

Isa - do what you feel comfy with sweetie, in time you will look back and giggle that it seemed such a big decision! :) check out the BFing blanket/capes for their features, you might do just as well with a light, breathable bunny rug or similar.
Ginger, go for it with the gym! If it doesn't work you might just need to try another place, kwim? I'm pretty happy just bouncing around like a lunatic to my own playlist on my rebounder for now, but I see the day coming when that gets old. I meant to go back to the stork-mark thread, thanks for reminding me.
Cass, I had a little proud moment for your DH when I read about his launch etc. Sounds like it was a fabulous event, kudos for getting famous historian to launch, and YAY for dressing up!
I'm a bit stumped as to whether I should know who black-rose is too?
 Arte - you don't need your silly mum's approval when you've got all of us thrilled for you!!! BTW having kids didn't ruin her life, her ****ty attitude did. Glad A is gelling with the ILs so nicely. We're about to have an IL visit soon...bracing myself...kids are looking forward to it which is nice :).
Trill, hope the birthday went off beautifully...BTDT with the double-digits, we're staring down the barrel of teenagerhood this year. :o. Time flies when you're having fun. Or not.
Ok wont bother with the breastfeeding blanket, managed to feed her just fine in public today with a bunny rug placed lightly on her head (not covering face), it was fine for her and allowed me to feel a little protected. DH said he couldnt see a thing
Yep well those DHs have got super-boobie-spotting vision, hehe, so sounds like that is a solution. Well done to you getting out and about even while you're still getting the hang of it all . Something to feel justifiably proud of!
hi girls
how is everyone?
both boys are still sick here so we're having a quiet day at home. we were meant to go swimming, bummer!
oh well, hopefully L is better for kinder on wednesday.
hi girls!
G: ah bum on the snots and coughs! a few mates have been out of action with their kids over snot monsters...ahhh the season is a comin', oh joy lol!
Isa: yeah i was wondering if a muslin wrap or something would be good...also, i have a Ripe BF top that slides across (rather than lifts up ITMS) and i dont show ANY boob in it...has little slits in the fabric, gosh i hope that i am explaining it right...i love it because there are no clips or anything, just slide it across and voila and the ruched up fabric covers all boob...just a thought).
MD: thanks babe  i am so proud of him :)
Arte: that is a doozer from you mum :o.
AFM: we are all good! so much so mostly because....leila is eating again :leap:!!! not sure what changed it but it is FANTASTIC! she has a big burst of energy now, thank goodness!! i am still going to keep a close eye, but hopefully it was a passing thing and mebbe just a readjustment issue with the new room at kinder :dunno:
hi girls
isa- i was also going to suggest the idea of a breastfeeding top for you - Queen Bee maternity has some great ones
cass- glad that L is eating again, hopefully it keeps going.
girls i have a friend that has a huge dam at her house right near the house iykwim? i've always been really conscious of it and alwways make sure that when i am there that the door is dead bolted...but, lately i have been having really specific dreams about a child drowning in the dam. it is really freaking me out. last night i woke up really scared and had to check on both of the kids. i'm at the point where i just can't go to her house anymore. i feel bad as she is always inviting me over (she has 2 boys the same age). do you think i am going mad?
I don't think you're going mad G. It's a reasonable fear to have and it's probably worrying you so much that it's triggered you to have dreams about it. If it is at this point then I'd probably stay away for a little while too
Cass, that's fantastic that she's eating again.
Ginger I'm really paranoid about drowning too, so if that were me i would probably stay away too. Especially with the dreams. Are the boys feeling a bit better today?
Cass, yay for eating! Do you still have FIL there?
I've just texted Arte because I've just got home and seen the news, looks terrible. I'm sure she's well away from it all but it must be such a shock to everyone in NZ.
Have we solved the black rose mystery yet (feel free to PM ladies)
hi md
the boys are doing heaps better. J has really bad nappy rash though so i think he may be getting his 2 yo molars. can't get in there to have a look though! lol
i feel bad staying away from her house but it is really starting to affect me. i actually went down to the local aquatic centre this morning to check it out and have L starting lessons next week, this is how much the dreams have been affecting me.
i hope arte is ok too, hopefully she pops on here soon
what is the black rose mystery? i am so confused
why am i familiar? i don't get it?
See...it's a mystery!!! I wondered if black rose was someone you and JM might've met IRL? (think, Ginger, think)! ...Sam something??
i am so much more confused now! LOL
um, might go and do a search on her....
I am o.k. We are in the North Island. News footage still coming in. The cathedral is ruined, a massive NZ icon. Like Sydney losing the opera house. Death toll at 65 confirmed and expected to rise. Just unbelievable!
oh no! how horrible
good to hear from you though....
Arte, we're getting most of the TV3 footage streaming on ABC24...it's just unbelievable. I've been to Christchurch and stood outside of the cathedral, I can't believe it's destroyed like that (and possibly some people in it too :(). So many people wandering around in a dazed shock. Lots of Aussies love NZ and Kevvie was just on the telly saying how Aust is going to deploy their maximum response of rescue workers etc today/tonight.
Wow, the earthquake is so horrible. :(
No idea who Black_rose is either, but i am having trouble remembering who i am atm too, so no big surprises there. :p
G- a friend of a friends 22 month old drowned in a water trough two weeks ago. I am surprised they don't have either the yard or dam fenced, too dangerous for my liking too.
