hi girls
arte- great news about your exam. that would've been bad!
trill- you must have been so proud of L. wow! sounds like you had a great time in melb too
md- still freezing up the mountain but no more snow
been spending a bit of time with jm. we actually went to the yo gabba gabba concert together on sat- she managed to score us free tix somehow. the boys loved it and J has been yelling out 'yo gabba gabba' all day ever since!
-
which session did you go to G - we were at the 10am!!! Boys LOVED it! DJ Lance even high 5'd Noah and told him 'you're awesome!!!'. i loved it too!
-
we were at the 1.30pm show! it was fantastic
-
oh yeah and i forgot to tell you all that after our fantastic but very long day on sat at yo gabba gabba, we came home and L fell off a chair, whacked his head on a desk and split his head open. straight down to the emergency dept and a couple of stitches
-
oh poor L! hope he (and you) are ok. wow
-
he's fine. had to miss swimming and soccer this week though. he's getting the stitches out tomorrow.
-
oh man! that would of been scary G!
aw i wish i would get more jiggy wit it and get L to these shows :( i am so crap in that department. she would of just loved to of seen YGG. anf wtg noah on the high five!!!!!
-
Cass I think Dora is touring again? I can highly recommend the Dora show. We went to one last year at a theatre in ringwood and the boys loved it.
-
Dora was great, M loved it too.
Ginger - Hope L mends fast, poor thing.
Arte - I can imagine the panic you felt with the exam situation!! Glad you sorted it though.
OMG JM will be popping any day now yayyyyyy! My bet is on a girl. :)
-
Yep we are the concert kings...
Dora is in melb 13 aug
Jay lagaia also in July - that's really affordable too
And mum taking him to Disney on ice too
-
What's on in Canberra MP??
Bridesmaid dress shopping in 3 weeks - crash diet time (once we knock off this batch of brownies....)
Ginger - hope L is OK, must have been pretty bad to need stitches.
-
Exciting day, its JM's due date!! Just noticed from her ticker. Eeeeek!!!
-
my second born child is officially a nightmare. anyone else?
-
-
 hmmm so far, Marta is the calm baby...maybe the calm before the storm hahahaha.
well after my bad mummy guilt of Leila not getting to see any shows, i got a phone call from a friend telling me that she got us tickets to circus oz opening night and after party! eekkkk! i hope that leila doesnt get too freaked out by it all. but i am pretty excited :)
-
A seems alright so far, she chucks a few wobblies but she has nothing on W! Still haven't hit the terrible two's yet though....
Today she was making up a song - it was mostly babble but I picked out the words Ice cream and Happy lol
Yesterday was pj day at kindy so we all went in our pajamas. It was a big shared breakfast, the kids ate like they hadn't been fed in a week!
Cass, the circus sounds good. Apparently I am related to the carny folk and my father can get free tickets for any circus in the country (apparently only two companies and both are owned by the same family or something? - I find my father's very Sydney accent hard to understand at times!)
-
Hmmm, it's been a bit quiet in here...any exciting news from over Victoria way???
Cassius, Circus Oz sounds fantastic. All the fun with no animals!! Is that the steampunk show? I reckon that would be WILD!!
Arte, we were just saying at work last week how cool it would be if we could just rock up to work in our jammies and uggs! (Kinder is probably a more appropriate venue). LOL at your carnie-folk connections. have you had your exam yet?
Trill - I don't think I commented on your amazing weekend at the footy. not a big football family here but I totally appreciate the WOW factor of L playing on the MCG!!! Priceless sort of experience.
MP, we're thinking of going to Disney on Ice. E loved the Disney princesses stage show. I cannot imagine how WILD the Dora show would be.
Ginger - Yo Gabba Gabba sounds fantastic. I didn't even know there was a stage show. Was it hte "real" Dj or a replacement dude.
Well DH is in the study (yes it's been mostly de-junked and is starting to resemble its chosen purpose) and he's putting together my wall of ikea bookcases. OMG how excited am i?!!
-
No no news from Vic. Not the type of news you are looking for anyway ;)
It was the real dj lance. He even did a set at the corner hotel the night before I heard! Too cool
Lots of rain, coughing and snot around here. L has to get his stitches out today
