MD, that totally sucks living never knowing when or where you might be packed off to. That would be a constant bit of stress to carry around, popping up in your mind every time you make a longish term plan etc. I would hate that. As you may have guessed, I don't do all that well with change lol
Lucky the tooth came out, forcibly removed doesn't bode well for future dental trust. W's wiggly has stopped wiggling! It is never going to come out!
Spent a few days crying into some tragic 80's power ballads and am now feeling much better about the whole moving thing lol.

That's the way, Arte. 80's power ballads are pretty tragic, it's bound to assist catharsis. LOL.
I can't believe the wiggly tooth has stopped wiggling!!

bahahahahaha! 80s power ballads....totally worthy to sob too lol.
MD: sheesh, yeah the constant threat of just having to up and leave must be so intense. and it is i guess a given in the career of your DH. i guess for a short while it is doable, but after a few years and kids in the mix and as you get older and develop friendships it would just get harder and harder.
Oz: hello lovely blossoming mama! how is that belly of yours??
AFM: well my not so crap week got crapper. turns out me being horrified at the family looting my grandfathers house has resulted in being told to 'jam it' and told to never ever speak to the family again. oh dear. i was called some pretty horrifying things...i guess, to be honest, they were things that they have felt about me since i was a little girl but werent said as well, telling a 5 year old that she is XYZ is just a *bit* out of line: even if you think it. thankfully my mum is also cast out so at least we have eachother lol. my darling grandfather i think is still ok with me. i havent heard from him, but i feel confident that it will be ok from his end.
In brighter news! Miss L won a principals award! super proud of her :) the teacher is super proud of her too and is hoping that a bit of recognition and celebration might help her with her peers in the new class. her teacher told me that out of the 22 kids only 6 of them are in grade one. the rest are grade two. i think that such a small group of one'rs is tough. and she one of only a few girls in the whole class as it is IYKWIM. i so wish i could win lotto so that she could go to john marsdens school which is much further away but just perfect. ah well.

Cass, sorry that happened to you  What on earth makes some people think they are entitled to elderly relatives things?! This always bothers me.
If they are the sort of people that lack respect for their elders and have such limited decency then you are way too good for them! Who cares what they think of you - sounds like they prejudged you anyway so it was never going to be any different itms. I am sure your grandfather will be ok with you, even if he is fine with people taking his stuff he will still see that you are on his team.
Congrats to L on her award :)
Totally nailed the best chocolate chip biscuits ever this afternoon.
