Woohoo, BG! That's awesome. I'm getting a bit down about my weight :( I'm now about 20kg overweight and none of it is budging. Even with the breastfeeding, and DH and I have been walking a bit too (not fast - I find if I overdo it the bleeding comes back). But nope, the weight is still there.
I am only able to fit into the big stuff that I bought when my pregnant belly was getting going - I can't fit into any pre-pregnancy clothes at all.
Sorry for the whinge.
On a happier note - Phoebe put herself to sleep today. DH cuddled her until she looked really tired then put her in the cot in the spare room (which will be her room) while I put Natty down for her nap. She woke up and started kicking about of course, little party animal, but because she was happy we just left her. I went in a moment ago and she's out like a light!

BG- You go girl! Congrats on fitting into ur jeans. Im still wearing tracky pants, but am hoping to get back into jeans soon.
Snacks- Sorry to hear ur walking is not shifting the weight. Hopefully when the bleeding settles, u will be able to power walk.
AFU, We had a not-to-bad night. DH worked this morning, so after he got home, we went shopping (yay!). Its raining here, so the kids are stuck inside (boohoo!).

Haha, she woke up after one cycle anyway. Now she's sleeping against my chest, LOL.
Forgot to mention we had an appt with MCHN this week too. Phoebs is doing similarly to Miss E - 4.25kg, 55cm. The poor darling's hair is starting to stick up! Natty had the same 'do'. She copped so much flack for it. Looks like Phoebe will share the trauma. And she's got pimples now too.
DH went back to work yesterday... And he took today off, LOL!

Snacks- Logan has lots of hair, so he has a nice spiky 'do'. After a bath it goes all fluffy, so sticks up even more.
Just a few quick questions.
Just wondering how much everyone's bubbas are drinking, and how often?
Logan seems to be fluffing around with his feeds.
Is this a normal phase for his age?
DH did the night duty with Logan last night, so I had a very good sleep. I think he now understands why Im so tired during the day.

We had professional pics taken yesterday, they look sooooooo awesome, we get them in abut 4 weeks and will scan and post but they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gorgeous
Amy, BG - Bailey is now 55cm and 4.39kg - freaky that despite all the different birth dates they are currently pretty much the same size LOL.
Bridg, I'm not sure how much Bailey is drinking as is on the boob, but some feeds he feeds vigorously and seems to have a feast, and other times will only take one boob and appears to have a small feed and fart ars**s around on the boob (plays with his food LOL). I think they are just like us re appetite, Our CYH nurse told us their appetites vary just like adults do, they are sometimes hungry, and other times just need a small feed to get them by so I wouldn't worry too much. My Baby Love book recommends 60-120ml for a 1-4 week old (5-8 bottles per day) and then 120-150ml for 4-8 week olds (5-8 bottles per day). When DH or my Mum have given Bailey a bottle of EBM though he only drinks about 80-100ml currently (this is at the 6-9 week mark for him). These are ONLY recommendations from a book though, I think its better to go by weight gain and weeing and pooing - and if baby happy and settled, cos if he is hungry he'd be letting ya know. Thanks for the birthday wishes on here and facebook everyone.
CJ didn't realise was my birthday and had not such a good night last night, after a couple of weeks of her sleeping through the past four nights she has been feeding three hourly, which wouldn't be so bad apart from when she is sleeping she is still really noisy grunting all the time (she is in our room while my parents are here) which keeps me awake even while she is sleeping! She has been more unsettled the past few days but has been better today so think was maybe a growth spurt - maybe tonight she will go back to sleeping midnight to 7:00am!!
Relating to the grunting, I am having difficulty working out when she is distressed/hungry compared to when she is just grunting as she seems to do it so much (doesn't seem to be related to having a poo or wind particularly) - anyone else's bubbas grunt alot - do they have different types of grunting?
Was meant to be meeting relatives from Sydney in the CBD for lunch but I was just to shattered, but have had quite a nice birthday going back to bed after giving CJ to Grandad to amuse for a while, then CJ and I had a bath together - she loves the water, and chilled out before out for coffee and cake this afternoon. My dad has gone back to UK tonight, my mum is here another week - CJ will miss him as he really seemed to have the knack with her and I think he has had the most smiles and was also her favourite place for sleeping. DH got me a lovely card and a photo keychain so can keep lots of photos of CJ close at hand. CJ also got me a card and some chocolates - clever girl!
Bridg - as am BF no idea how much CJ is drinking but she takes ages over her feeds often half an hour on each side, and is 3 to 4 hourly. She is a very keen feeder and doesn't ever seem to fuss around. So sorry not sure that is any help.

I have no idea about my weight never really weighed myself before giving birth and haven't since - but I am still in my maternity trousers no way would get in any pre-pregnancy clothes yet. I am amazed how jelly like my stomach feels, sort of not like having a normal belly at all.
[COLOR="rgb(153, 50, 204)"]JwithJ[/COLOR] - CJ also rolled herself over today onto her tummy then changed the way she was looking - am amazed how quickly she has learnt to do this (1 month today - especially as her head is so heavy!) and now have to keep a closer eye on her.

daddy came home this morning and has been doting on his girl - it's gorgeous! anyhoot - mummy fed her earlier and she was needing a nappy change so daddy said he'd do it - and she pooped alllll over him while her nappy was off! bwahahahahah! nasty mummy had to laugh - it was rather funny
sorry - had to share - it was rather amusing for me (mostly cos i'd told him earlier i always try to play safe cos i'm sure she's gonna get me with these watery power poops!

wysiwyg- Happy Birthday. Nice to hear u had a nice day. Thats so cute about ur Dad and CJ. Logan only seems to grunt when he has wind, or is filling his nappy, so sorry Im not much help there. :clap: to CJ for rolling over. Clever girl.
BG- :rofl: about Emerald pooing on Daddy. I would have laughed too.
Naomi- Logan is having 100mls some bottles, and others he will only drink 40-50mls. He generally feeds every 3-4 hrs. Although this morning I fed him at 5am, and then he went til 9.30am. If he only drinks a small amount, he's looking for more a couple of hrs later. He's not into a routine, which makes it hard. He had a feeding frenzy when he was a week old, and was drinking around 60-70mls, and that was every 2hrs. Its hard working out how much he needs, as if I dont make enough, I have to make another bottle, and he screams while Im making it, and then if I make a bigger bottle, I end up wasting too much. Ive tried making a batch up and pouring say 80mls into a bottle, but half the time he only drinks half of it.
Sorry about my whinge. Im just very frustrated at the moment.

Vic: Happy birthday, mate! Hope it was a great one (apart from the lack of sleep!) Yes, Phoebe grunts and groans a lot. I joke that she often sounds like I did when I was pushing her out, LOL! She'll do it for ages before she actually starts crying for a feed. I think part of it is her struggling to unwrap herself. I am able to semi sleep through it, but its one of the reasons why I'm thinking she'll be in her own room soon. The other one is that she's bothered by noise. PITA when there's a toddler in the house, but that's another story.
The jelly belly is strange hey. I think my stretchies look weird as now. I do hope they fade eventually.
Bridg: Phoebe feeds every 2-4 hours. Sometimes she's fussy, but mostly she's pretty keen to feed. Does Logan fuss about at every feed, or just sometimes? It's a bummer about the inconsistency with the bottles. Hopefully he'll get into the swing of it soon.
BG: LOL @ the ****ie's crest! Phoebe's is more like the old style flat-top that's gotten slightly overgrown ;) And PMSL @ the poo incident. You gotta laugh.
Naomi: Yeah, isn't it funny about their size! LOL@ Bailey's do. Sounds like the 'baby mullet'!
Jacinta: Hope all goes well at your check. What a great sleep you had! Jealous here.
In for a fairly crap night here. If Phoebe is going to have a longer block of sleep she usually does it first off. But that one was only 2 hours :( Ah well... Maybe I'll get lucky this sleep...

hope you got a long stretch of sleep Amy - those nights of only dribs and drabs SUCK so bad! we had a good night last night thankfully. was really worried how she'd cope with daddy being in the room snoting again but she was fine. asleep somewhere between half 9 and 10, woke at 4 (well, kinda woke - she was grunting to get her arms out of the wrap, i was engorged, so she had something of a dream feed...) - she woke when i was burping her so we changed her nappy and she decided it was play tim - so we laid on either side of her and just let her play til she seemed tired - was probably about half five i fed her again, and then she slept til about 9 i think. yay!
having daddy home obviously made her happy. we've been having video calls with him while he's been away and i use speaker phone so she hears him all the time. the last two video calls she's started smiling when he was talking to her, and even grabbing and "cuddling" the phone (poor daddy gets a view of her nostril when she does it!) - now that he's home, she's smiling up a storm. up until now, she's been smiling for me, and once for mum - no one else - now she is just a bundle of smiles! mummy is loving having daddy home too - i got to shower two mornings in a row and he took care of her! yay!!!

Snacks- I changed Logans teats to a faster one this morning, and he drank heaps better. Before that, he was grizzling and falling asleep as the teats were too slow. He used to stuff around with every feed. Im hoping that now he is on the faster teats, he might settle into a routine. Sorry to hear u had a crap night. Maybe Phoebe might sleep better tonight.
BG- Glad to hear DH is home, and Miss E is smiling alot. Thats soooo cute about the video call, and DH seeing up her nose.
AFU, Well we were meant to go to the MCHN today, but I had to ring and change the day, because Logan decided to sleep from 4am-8.30am and wanted a feed as soon as he woke up, and I wasnt dressed, and we were due there at 9.15am. When I did get organised, I went down to the shops with all 3 kids. Its the 1st time I have gone anywhere with all 3 by myself, and Im quite surprised it went well. I was told by alot of people that babies dont smile before 6 weeks, but then I read an american article on the net, and there was this MCHN and she had a 2 week old baby that could roll over!! I think I have seen Logan smiling (not the normal wind smiles), but sometimes its hard to tell. He was laying in his swing the other day, and when I moved the hanging animals, he smiled at them. So if anyone tells u that babies cant smile before 6 weeks, they are wrong.

bridg - J used to be the same and same thing with us now were getting at least 5 hours at a time
afu at the moment im trying to get him into the cot coz of our long streches of sleep and the fact that the bassinet is getting 2 small while hes sleeping he kicks the end and pushes himself up and bangs his head and wakes himself up we've had tons of smiles still not directly at us but at least hes smiling and now that the baby bath is 2 small were using a bucket to wash him he seems to really like it and its a lot easier for me to hold him coz hes not trying to bang his head but theres a lot more splashing
anyways sleep vibes and smile vibes for all
ps. we got 7 and a half hours sleep last night yay for us

big day here today - E is in a dirty mood - think she may have a sore throat or something - she has snuffles and seems to be gulpin when she swallows - although ALL she wants is to feed so maybe not... poor little poppet is not in a great mood
