Hi to everyone else, will be back a bit later :)
Good Luck Amelia....it was around this date 2 years ago I found out MiniMax was a Maxwell and not a Maxine (not that I would have called a girl that!) Make sure you pop in and tell us the flavour! I hope it's soon considering it's only 7:52 here!!!! All your days are half done before I wake up!!! :) Good luck with the move also!
Hi everyone!!! :) BBL
Good luck Amelia ... how exciting!
Good luck Amelia ... how exciting!
You said you dont really care and I couldnt decide ... so good luck either way!
I haven't been able to get on here for a couple of days! Well I get on and then it crashes, so sorry for being AWOL.
Good news, my gynie (as predicted) had a cancellation and I am going to see her this afternoon. Geez its all a bit scary now. I think maybe because we have waited so long this time!
Julia - had a look at your pics on FB, the apartment looks great! When do you leave exactly?
Amber - how cute about what Myle's is saying, they come out with such cute stuff at the moment! Tay walks around calling out for Mi ......... which is Mia. She cant quite get that A.
Saffi - I hope that L is better and that the bug stops at him! I know in our family, once one goes down, we all go down! We are great at spreading germs LOL
Mo - how is Phil?
Kate - I know, we now have little people running around. I have to say I am enjoying Tay at this age. I think I never got to enjoy Mia as much, as I had a newborn to deal with. In saying that, I dont think Tay would cope with a newborn at this age. She definately has "I AM THE BABY" syndrome. She is very posessive of me and doesnt like me picking other kids up. Mia is not even allowed to sit closest to me in the bath without her losing it!
Trish - how are you all getting over your colds?
Oh and :hello: Willow, how are you?
Sorry if I missed anyone else!
Just another selfish post.
Nursing home called again, Mums not doing great.
She has an infection some where they can't fight with Anti-B's, So they are trying something stronger if that doesn't work we have decided to let nature take it's course.
She's basically bed-ridden now, barely eating & drinking, hardly talking.
I'll know more tomorrow after her blood work, x-rays come back & if the new medication works.
Good Luck Amelia
Good luck Amelia
Julia your new place looks awesome!
Mo im sorry to hear about your mum...i hope the new meds help her a bit
Kaz all the best for your gyno appointment
Saffi hows L going now with his runny bum?
Hi to everyone else!
AFM, things are going well. Jasmine isnt being so kind though and is forever biting Chelsea (even though some days i can see why she does it). Still loving FDC. We have no layby's her big bed, should be here in around 7 weeks time, right on time for Zachery to take the cot and pack up his cradle!
Hi all
Good luck for today Amelia. Hope you get a strawberry flavour!
Kaz - good news about the appointment. One step closer to your next bub...
Mo - thats not good about your Mum. Seems to be one thing after the other at the moment.
Hi to everyone else.
AFU - L is on the mend. Saw the Dr yesterday who said its something going around and blamed daycare. He only had 2 yucky nappies yesterday and only one slightly yucky nappy today so it looks like it has run its course. They are doing a poop test but I expect that it has run its course. He had his 18mth vax yesterday while we were there so another thing achieved.
Nothing much else happening. L is down for his afternoon nap so hopefully will get a few hours of peace. Gotto do some housework this afternoon so no afternoon nap for me.
I'll BBL to hear Amelia's news.
Hi Girls, I am going to do a ME ME ME post this morning, just because I need to vent. I went to my gynie appointment last night and to be honest I am starting to lose faith in my doctor. Basically last week I was at day 39 and no AF and in heaps of pain. I rang my gynie thinking that af wasn't coming and she got me to go for a bloodtest. Then on Friday my af arrived! My gynie rang me to say that I didnt ovulate and I told her I had got my af that morning. She said that is ok, come in anyway and we will put you on clomid. So I go in yesterday and she said have you had a bleed, I am like yeah (and thinking to myself I told you that on the phone!). She said well then you probably did ovulate, but because of when we did the blood test it is saying you didn't! So we will still put you on clomid just in case, cause we really don't know. Why do I pay good money for a test that isn't full proof I am wondering! Then she says I can't start clomid anyway until next cycle, as you have to start 5 days after your af and I am at 7. I am soooooooooo disappointed and just keep thinking, what is another month in the scheme of things. It feels like nothing is going my way with having No 3.
Sorry to rant and rave girls, I am just a bit peeved about the whole thing at the moment!
Just quickly, Mo, It sounds like a really hard time for you and making the decision you guys have can't have been easy. Big hugs to you chickee, there isn't much for me to say that is going to make it better for you. Just know that you are in my thoughts and here if you need to chat x
Oh and Amelia where are you? Been waiting to hear what you are having, other than a baby of course! Haha. Just because you moved with a toddler and you are 5 months pregnant ... is no excuse not to post on bellybelly you know! Seriously, I hope you are not over doing it 2 much and hope 2 hear from you soon!
Just a quick post to Kaz but I'll be back later...
Kaz - Go and check out the TTC with clomid thread in the AC forum. I am almost positive that when I was in that thread there were girls who were taking clomid from day 7. Most drs will go with cd 5, some start as early as cd2, but it's not absolutely crucial. My first month on clomid started later than day 5 because like you, that's just when I happened to see my gynae. And in the bigger scheme of things, it doesn't really matter, if it works it works if not, no harm done. At least you feel like you're doing something proacitve this month. I really don't think the medical professionals get how looooong a month feels when you're trying to have a baby!
I also lost faith in my gynae and after a few months on clomid he basically said 'yep, you're ovulating if you're not prg in 3 months come back and see me'. I knew something was wrong and he wasn't looking any further so I dumped him and went to see a FS. Best thing I ever did because as it turned out, I was right and we ended up needing IVF to conceive DS.
So what I'm saying is...
1. If you've got the clomid prescription filled then I'd start taking it today. It may be too late in your cycle but it may not! Check out the TTC with clomid thread though because it's been more than 2 years since i've taken it and my memory is a bit sketchy!
2. If you're losing faith in your dr, probably time to find a new one
Also, just a little warning...every month I was on clomid I had an emotional meltdown at the same point in my cycle. Obviously hormonal, but it was still pretty awful, probably worse than the IVF meds for me! So just be aware and know that it's not you, it's the evil drugs! LOL.
Just another quick from me.
Spent most of the day at the nursing home yesterday & seeing my mum like that is really getting to me.
Just knowing she might pass away soon is... I don't know how to explain how i feel.
Today will be her 4th day without food, they have her on supplements & are crushing all her tablets because she can't swallow.
My Aunties are flying in today to see her, which will be nice having some extra support.
I'm still hopeful they new meds will work & she'll pull through this, but i know she'll just get sick again & again till she can't/doesn't want to fight anymore.
Big Big Hugs Mo
Vent away Kaz...I agree with Willow...if you're losing faith...get a new doc!
Mo - the HUGEST  to you babe. I cannot even imagine what this must be like for you. My grandmother passed in very similar circumstances but she wasn't my mum iykwim? This must be gut wrenchingly awful for you
I hope she pulls through.
Well i did get a bit of good news, Mums temp is still very high but she did eat some of her breakfast this morning.
So that's a good sign, just hoping she continues to improve.
Thanks for all the support ladies, don't know what i'd do without you all
 Mo, I'm sorry to hear your mum is so sick. I am praying for her (and you guys). Let me know if you need anything, even if it's just to chat to someone.
Kaz - Hugs for you too . How frustrating! I agree with the other girls, find a new Dr if your not happy with your current one (who seems very unhelpful atm!). I have my fingers crossed that you won't even need to take the clomid next month ;).
Saffi - I'm glad L is on the mend :)
Kim - Ouch at Jasmine biting Chelsea! I guess it's just one of those phases, I hope it passes quickly!
Julia - How's the packing going? I hope it's not too mammoth of a task!
Amelia - Get back onto BB and let us know how you went yesterday LOL!
We're all OK here, still have colds, but hopefully we're over the worst of it. K is back to sleeping through again now his cold has settled down. Last night I didn't even wake to go to the toilet (very unusual for me) so I had a great, uninterrupted sleep. Of course I was busting when I woke up! I've still been seeing a chiro and my back is so much better for seeing her. After camping I was crippled with pain, but one visit from her and I felt like a new woman! She has a really cool pillow with a hole in it for my tummy so I can lie down flat, I want one for me at home LOL! I miss tummy sleeping! Bub gave the chiro lots of kicks yesterday which was pretty cute.
Well, I suppose I'd better go and do some more nesting stuff! Joel is at kinder this morning so it's just K and me. He keeps bringing me books and demanding to sit on my lap so I can read them to him :).
Have a great day all :D
Thanks girls ... I have made the decision to start with clomid next month if I am not ovulating! I am going to buy an ovulation kit this month and see for myself if I am or not. I will believe it when I do or dont see it! There is no point in taking it if I am ovulating right? As for my gynie, I am just going to see what my tests bring. I was talking to my friend about my doctor today and she see the same one. We both agreed it seemed to be out of character for her to be so vague! Maybe she had a bad day. So I will see what this month brings and if no ovulation, will start on clomid next month.
Willow - you really had some great information, thanks! I was bracing myself for the meltdowns, as I heard that can happen. So fingers crossed, I wont need to go there. But if I do, I have the prescription now!
Mo - glad to hear there was an improvement with your mum. Hopefully this is the beginning of her fighting back.
Trish - I am envious! I love feeling the babies kicking, its starts to feel really real when they make their presence known with some moving around! Hope you and your family get over your colds soon x
:hello: to everyone else!
I am off to the movies tonight, cant wait!
