Hello Octo Mum's! Thought I'd pop in just to say Hi... and as I scrolled down to post a message, I see both Trish AND Saffi are both UTD! Huge Congrats girls!!!

A huge congrats to you too Mo - Ange told me you had another precious little girl. I hope it's all going well. :)

I've re-joined BB to join my months belly group since time is fast approaching and I've realised just how much I've forgotten!! Plus it's also a bit fun waiting for everyone to pop in these last weeks.

I don't think I know many of you in this group anymore as I didn't recognise many of the names as I scrolled down the page to post.... But I hope everyone is well and your little ones are thriving! :D

So Myles has a cold :( But is ok! I think I may have finally popped or I could just be bloated! lol! We still havent got Myles 18month shots yet! Naughty naughty! He has been sick each time we think of it oops!

Trish hope Ks hand is ok! Poor lil man! And then his needles on top of that :( Its so hard seeing them in pain hey! :hug:

Kellie - how did today go?
Julia - didn't realise it was your 30th! Hope you had a great time entering your third decade (I am speaking from experience).
Willow - happy birthday for the weekend. Good to hear Boo is doing well. Plenty of time for bubs to get into position.
Trish - glad to hear K's hand is better. He is a toddler AND boy so bound to get a bruise or scrape at least once everyday. Get those bandaids ready!
Mo - the nurses are pretty good at monitoring these things. They are trained to observe the smallest things. Hope the girls get better soon.
Amber - poor Myles. Hope he gets over his cold. Bubs is going well. She is kicking a lot and being very active. How are you doing?
Kaz - sounds like you are having a rough time with Tay. Good that you are getting some exercise. It really does clear the head.
Catherine - hey chickie! I heard somewhere that you were pregnant again. Congratulations. Only a few weeks to go........ Pop in when you can to let us know how you are going. How is Miss Rochelle?
Amelia - where are you? We are waiting for your news.....

Morning all!

K seems 100% back to normal after his burn and yesterday's needle :confetti:. Poor Joel has a really nasty cough though, I would normally keep him home from kinder, but they have an excursion at the hospital he was born in today and he has been looking forward to it for weeks. I can't say no now!

Saffi - How are you going organising the move? I hope you aren't going to do too much, make it a great excuse to delegate LOL!

Amber - Poor Myles, I hope his cold clears up soon. He looks so gorgeous in your ticker pic! K has the same t-shirt, but in green. We bought the red one for his little mate for Christmas :)

Catherine - Long time no see! Congrats on your pregnancy! Wow, not long to go now! I look forward to hearing your BA :). How is Ro going?

Willow - I'm glad cheeky Boo is all OK :hug:.

Mo - I hope poor Maddi doesn't have a UTI. Not what you all need right now!

Better go and organise our stuff for Joel's hospital trip. The parents have to drop the kids off, then we have to hang around waiting for nearly an hour while they do a tour of the hospital. Luckily I've teed up a trip to the park across the road with another kinder mum and her DD who is the same age as K, fingers crossed it doesn't rain!

Trish, i bet Joel had a great time & i hope you all had a nice time at the park while you waited.
Glad K is better & i hope Joel feels better soon.

Took Maddi& Kodi for their check-ups today. Maddi is 86cms long & 12kg's.
Kodi is 4.85kgs & 55cms long. Both are doing really well, which makes me very happy & proud :)

Mo - You're girls are doing fantastically! Well done mum :D.

Just got back before from taking Joel to the Dr about his nasty cough. Turns out he has croup, it's not affecting his breathing though so I'm sure he'll be OK. He picked it up from kinder, lots of kids there have the same cough atm! Hopefully K doesn't catch it, Joel has had it since at least last Saturday so hopefully that means K is safe.

Poor Joel! My friends little one has croupe at the moment too....doesn't sound too flash!

Is anyone's little ones MEGGA clingy ATM? Max just wants to be hanging off me constantly (but more in the afternoons).....it is doing my head in! Is there some weird developmental stage about to hit or something!

Looks like we have a date for going to Singa's.....22nd June....YAYKES! DH is away from next week for 4 weeks too....DREAD!

not much happening here! Seeing the ob on friday! Have been going back to yoga which is lovely, a day to myself!

cute story! We were in the backyard today I was hanging out the washing and Myles was playing he got very quiet and i thought he was playing with dog poo yuck but he was picking me a flower awwwwwww! Gee i love him :)

Trish - poor Joel. Is there anything he can take to get over it? That's the problem with kinder - its a breeding ground for germs and disease.
Mo - your girls sound like they are right where they should be. I keep forgetting that boys are heavier. L is closer to 13kgs now and he is a month younger.
In answer to your question, we hardly have anything ready for the baby. I haven't spoken of it here but we have bought a house and are selling our current one. We settle both places at the end of June. So there is not a lot of point to setting up a room (even if we had one) for her as it will only be packed away again. Haven't even bought many clothes for her. I am just taking one step at a time and mainly I have been focussed on house stuff.
Also, I think with a second baby that there is generally less preparation. We have most things already and there's not much point to stocking up on things like wipes etc as we already have them for L. We need to get a double stroller and to hire a capsule.

Trish, don't have many people to delegate to. MIL is keen to help but do I really want her going through all our stuff??????

Julia - I don't think L is any clingier than usual. He is pretty full on with us as we only see him after hours and on weekends.
Amber - cute story, just hope it wasn't a rose with thorns. For mothers day L (and the dogs) gave me a voucher for a pedicure. Anyway he was sitting up in bed with the envelope in his hand offering it to me. So cute......

Anyway, a mammoth me post so I promise I'll do more persies next time.

Havent been in in a while.... How is everyone! I did a quick read... :)

We are all good here now.... Kids were really sick a couple of weeks ago, had to take Chels into the hospital but all was fine and everything is good now so thats goood! Chella only weighs 10.5kg at the moment! I think back to Liam and he weighed 13kg at this stage too so yeah, girls must be smaller... I cannot believe how much she is learning! Her talking is fantastic! She understands EVERYTHING you tell her and can communicate most things to us now, even if we are the only ones who can understand most things she says... lol

Amber - Awwwww thats so cute! Not long til you find out your flavour now!!!!

Saff - Hey!!! Where are you moving too? Thats pretty exciting? A bigger house? YAY! I bet your getting excited now too! Been thinking names????

Julia - Ooooo How exciting/Scary! Are you looking forward to it all? I thnk it would be amazing for you! By the way, saw your pics on FB and the apartment looks gorgeous! How long are you going for again or is it indefinate?

Mo - How is your Mum doing? I have been thinking about ya... I hope she is doing ok... Must be sooo hard for you to watch her like this! your a really strong woman!

Trish - Awwww Poor Joel... Yeah I have heard that Croup is going around big time at the moment! Hope it doesnt stay long...

Thanks for all the well wishes on my 1st day back at work, it went well, day went pretty fast and Tahlia was very happy to see me when I got home!

We just had tahlias MCHN check, she still only weighs 10.8kgs and 80cm! She is a skinny minny! Off to mothers group this arvo and back to work tomorrow!

Hi girls, just a quickie as I am meant to be packing! We are heading to Adelaide in the morning and I wont be around until Tuesdayish just in case you are wondering where I am! We just realised that the girl who booked our tickets from my dh's work, forgot to put baggage allowance on our return trip! So my dh is on the phone trying to sort that out. I don't think it will be a big deal, just extra $$$. I am :crossfingers: that the girls are ok. Mia has been a bit out of sorts today. Tay actually slept through the night last night, so that is great, but she has also been a bit whingy. I am sure its those darn eye teeth, but where they are I just don't know. She is chewy on anything and everything, but no sign of the teeth. Anyway ... I really should go. Have a great weekend girls and I will pop in and say hello on Tuesday some time!

Not much happening here. L has the sniffles but being in daycare I expect him to be sick more than well. DH has the sniffles too and he is dying. MEN!

All good with me. Bubs is moving heaps. I swear she is more active than L was in utero.

Hi everyone!!
its been ages yet again since i was in here saying Hi!!! Been so very busy with work and now......organising our move to Toowoomba!!! YAY!!! We should be down there by the 26th!!
i have organised day care for Miss C - now we just need to find somewhere to live!!
It is unbelievable how expensive removalists are!! Going to cost us close to $4000!! ouch - plus the bond for the new place. goodness me - and of course all our Ruddy money is gone. The radiator in the car sprang a leak (well a few leaks) so we got that replaced and the head on the engine "went" (according to DH) so a new engine was on the cards too. so ruddy money all gone, a CCTR money all gone too! thank god for parents!!
Celtic Congrats!! Awesome news!! i am beginning to think i am going to be the last one pregnant again but thats ok cause we soooo arent ready for another one!!
We got Caitlyn's ears pierced the other week and dont i feel nasty - the gun got stuck in her left ear and they had to do it again :doh:
