Hi all.....it's been awhile but I'm so over this new bellybelly. I have logging in issues and posting threads that I just give up. So I feel like I just can't be bothered when it plays up and I give up and go elsewhere...lol
Hope everyone is well. We are great here, well bubs has a cold and coughing heaps but the vaporiser works a treat so hoping the cold ****es off soon and bring on SUMMER.....aghhhhh
Anyway I just noticed a thread for babies due April1st-April15th and thought "that was us" Can u believe we were all pregnant this time last year! That's scary to think how fast the time is going......
I do think of everyone and check in here when it lets me but I know we are all busy busy and don't have the spare time like we did a year ago! Hope everyone is great bubs and family, hope Pam and bubs are doing well too, (I was thinking about her when packed to the rafters had the kidney donation episode)

I'm still checking in too when then dam site lets me... I so understand your anger towards new site. I don't like it either... And I too go else where.
Well yeah it was scary to think we were all prg last year and now my baby is almost 6months old. And to think I will never have another one again. She is my last, at the moment trying to survie the terrible 2's with DS2...
LM is going great, I will be starting her on food, this month. She seem so ready for it, but I am too lazy and it's depressing, she's grown so fast so quick. :(
Anyway speaking of which the little miss is ready for her 1/3 naps during the day. How is everyone's else babys going on nap time...?

hi girls, typing onehanded...well we have started solids.. tilly is a big girl and loving getting some food..her kidney is not affecting her in anyway.....4 months she weighed 7kgs and is very long..our 2 year old was 10kg...this summer they will be able to wear the same clothes !!! I am so busy with kinder/school runs..i put my hand up for the fundraising committee at kinder because no-one else wanted the job..and it is crazy busy.. i have done it before, but with support.. Poor Poppy (2years) is'nt talking and we are in the process of trying to find out why??? so far deafness has been ruled out..but autism is being talked about (I don't think they are right on that count, but there is a reason why she is'nt talking she seems to want to but can't get the words out???)so we are having speech therapy once a fortnight and seeing an OT as well..if I did'nt eat so much I would be skinny..I can feel it burning away thropugh stress and lugging babies everywhere..it is currently holidays here and I thought I would enjoy the rest but I can't sit still..I start to feel bored and depressed...when DH gets home I am off to split wood..an hour all to myself but still doing something useful...anyway this looks and sounds a bit scattered but at least I've been on..hope you are all doing well :)

I am still here as well popping in now and then... However this thread has totally died.
That is good to hear Tilly is going great guns. Esp with her kidney troubles. Did the Dr's ever tell you what they will do or is it an ongoing treatment process?
It is amazing how many parents that don't work, which wont help out at school stuff P&F etc. We had a school ball and only3 ladies set up. I was the photographer for the night so I had to go set up my area. And 2 of the ladies took the day off work to set up... Sod that... The schools should make parents take a part in there kids schools. That is just my thoughs on it. God I am same as you 4 kids one older 3 littles and I still go and help at times.
That's no good to hear about Poppy... She maybe just one of these kids which will talk in there own time. They also had a program on 60 minutes maybe last week or week before something about kids which can speak only don't choise not too.
Please let me know how you go. Even if you need to vent about DR's post or email me.
I understand about the cutting wood too. I like to do it, but then all the other kidlets want to come and help me too. Then they are just in the way.
So I have taken back up mowing lawn. LOVE it I can't hear kids screaming at each other, my only concren is making sure I don't leave a strip of grass behind or Oh there is a weed must remember to pull that.
Anyway LM is only just starting food, she loves she biscutes, (arrow root) but not so keen on rice ceral or custard. It's trying at times, but is she take a good 5 spoons I am happy with that. But when she sees me coming with spoon she tighness lips up so I can't get spoon in.
Anyway I have been busy trying to get a website up and going, but cost a bit, so just did a facebook pages, head on over and check out some of my work. If only you all lived closer would do family sessions for free...

It's crazy to think that almost 6 months ago we all had very large tummies and hadn't yet met our little ones. And now they are all smiling, rolling, gurgling little people.
It is a beautiful sunny day today and my little one had a 2 hour sleep (unheard of around here) so i got some stuff done. I then took her outside to put things on the line for the first time (no sun so been drying everything inside for months) and then remembered the little swing we have so gave her a swing and she loved it!
My little one sleeps pretty well at night but just doesn't nap during the day. She easily goes from 7am to 7pm without sleeping no matter what i try so now i just go with the flow. She still wakes a couple times over night for feeds but goes back to sleep again so i can handle that. We are getting ready to start solids, doing BLS. I'm pleased that we have been able to do exclusive breastfeeding this long and hoping to continue BF til she is at least 1. She is very giggly and happy and likes other people but always watches out for her Dad and I.
She rolls from tummy to back easily and rolls from side to side on her back but not all the way over. Still manages to wiggle around her mat. Can sit for a couple of seconds before gracefully subsiding. So far no sign that she inherited my neuro condition but its something we will watch out for.
Our bathroom reno is almost done and she loves having a spa with one of us. I also sit her up in the bumbo and she has a shower with me.
Sarah, i checked out your facebook page, beautiful pics! would love for you to take pics if we lived closer.
Pam, great to hear your little one is doing so well!
Leesha, the April 2011 thread always amazes me too- that was us last year! have you asked in the forum technical help thread to see what the problem is? maybe changing something in your settings might help

Wow havn't been in BB for awhile but I know it's cos second time round I don't worry as much about things. Can't believe noone has posted since october!
Hope you all had a fantastic christmas and new years! My little munchkin is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up to standing on everything...taking big tumbles and has lotsa bruises....
I'm not ready for my baby to be so grown up all ready. I was so pregnant and wishing the time away this time last year..now I wish I could just pause and rewind for a bit!
Hope whoever still reads these posts is well and keep in touch sometimes. Would be a shame to just all dissapear!!

I'm still around :lol: Had a great Christmas here- wrapping paper is sooo exciting!
i took LO in to get her 9 month weigh in, she is 8.2kg (35thish percentile) and 70.5cm (50th percentile) long. She still has a big head (according to the charts)! She loves rolling and commando crawling and pulling herself up. She wants to walk but the co-ordination is not quite there and she gets the wobbles pretty quickly. She was saying Mum but not so much at the moment, lots of funky noises though.
Still breastfeeding, and doing BLS. It took awhile for the gag reflex to settle and now some of the food actually gets swallowed. She is pretty keen to try whatever is on offer, and has varied taste preferences. Loves mango and strawberry and smoked salmon, natural yogurt, cucumber...

It was nice to see that you guys are still around. Well Lucas is just adorable, we are soooooo blessed to have him in our lives. He is commando crawling at high speeds, and loves to stand if assisted on the lounge etc. He is a bit lazy when it comes to sitting but im sure he will get the hang of it soon. We brought him a great walker that he sits in and walks for hours in it. You clip bub on the side of a table which is full of toys and they can walk around the outside of it, and rotate to look in any direction, he loves to be on his feet, so I can't see it being to long before he is off.
Eating is a bit scary for me, he gags heaps even on a small amount of a lump. I see these other bubs with toast etc in hand and having no prob's but Lucas just loves his pureed stuff. I guess it will be a slower process this time around. Any ideas what to give him? I give him Avocado and banana pieces, and he will chew a rusk, but not much more, unless it is put through the food processor.
He is still sleeping amazing, which he has from day one, and is not a cling on baby at all. He is happy to entertain himself, which I find lovely.
I can't believe this but I am getting all the maternal instincts back again. But no we are not having anymore bubs,at this stage.
How are all your cuties? It was cute watching Lucas open his xmas presents. My hubby brought me a video camera so now I can tape him doing all his cute things.

I'm fairly new here but stumbled across this thread.
I had a little girl, Anais Ruby on April 14th last year at Burnside Hospital in Adelaide.
She's just precious!
So, at the moment she is crawling, cruising around the furniture and would love to let go but really, I think she is a while away from having good balance on her feet. She is still breastfeeding 4/5 times per day, sleeps all night (FINALLY!!!) but barely sleeps during the day :wall:
We have no teeth yet which suits me fine :) I don't think they are far away though.
I cannot believe we are starting to plan a first birthday! I miss having a cuddly little baby, Anais doesn't have time to stop for cuddles anymore, but I am just loving the age she is now!
We will be TTC again in the coming months, as it took us 11 months to fall last time (worth every single second of heartache as it turns out though!!).
How are the other little early April babies going? What stages are they all at?

Welcome kelsbels but I think this thread has nearly died off.....only due to bb changing things so it is harder to log in and a few of us have more than one child now so we are busy!!!
I pop in every now and then!
All the kids will be at diff stages! My little miss is 11 months on March 11th and she is just about walking but the balance is not quite there! She has two bottom teeth and is currently cutting 3 top teeth a once...hence me being up so late on here....lol...So don't wish the teeth on quickly cos the teething thing can either be easy or really difficult! My DS who is 2.5yrs teethed so easily but his one is a diff story!!!!!!
She says "Ta, Dad, mum, and nan.....Claps, points at things....but she has a big brother teaching her and she is trying so hard to keep up with him!

Wow, we have all survived the first year!
My little munchkin is on the move! She took her first steps a couple of days before her birthday and can now go around 10 steps before she hits the ground again. Every day she gets steadier and does something new. She has 8 teeth now. She makes lots of funky noises but doesn't have that many words yet. I had her 12 month appt this week (couple weeks late cos the nurse was sick) and she is 75.5cm long and 8.9kg.
Are your bubs talking much? walking yet? tantrums?
