Hi girls. hows it going? Hope you are all well. We have all been sick... almost for 4 weeks someone has been ill. Olivia has had a bad chest infection and conjunctivitis and then reacted to her medication. She was ok with the amoxicillan that he gave her. She seems to be on the mend now... as does Rebecca who had had tonsilitis and an ear infection. Amy is doing well.... cutting teeth so as well as can be!
Olivia is going well. She is mostly really helpful and happy and funny and loving. I was just saying to Adam the other night that at 4 she is much easier to deal with when sick because shes so good at verbalising whats wrong. Whereas Rebecca just sooks because she isnt able to explain. Olivia is growing up so fast... shes also testing a lot of boundries too. When she gets mad she rushes over and hits me. She has such a big temper on her! Shes looking forward to going to 4 year old kinder and we are already starting to look at primary schools.
Anyway, better go..... might try for an early night.... ppffftt!!! if I do that I will be up all night as punishment! Take care x o

Mel, we've had illnesses left, right and centre here. Ben's the only one who seems to be avoiding it *touch wood*. Jared has a horrible cough, Josh has croup and I have shingles and this morning feel really nauseous and a bit delicate in the tummy. DH said his throat was really sore too, so we'll have to see how that pans out. I think it's just the time of year for it unfortunately. Nights are bloody cold here at the moment. I finally bought a vaporiser and I am in love with it. Josh has been sleeping SO well since we put it in his room. Should have bought one years ago!
We've applied for a school for Ben for Year 1 in 2013. I really want him to get in as it has extension programs for reading and maths and has a brilliant reputation in the area, but since he isn't applying for the Kinder or Prep intake, his chances of getting in are diminished. We won't take him out of Montessori until he finishes the program though so it's a chance we have to take. Scary thinking of them at school isn't it?
We're having a few issues with Ben and his frustration boiling over into hitting as well. Also dobbing! He's the big dobber at school and his teacher has spoken to me about it a few times. We've spoken to him about it, but it's like he can't help himself. The teacher says he knows what every single other kid in his class is doing at any one time and if they step a toe out of line, BAM, he's off to tell her! It's interfering with his work because he's paying more attention to the others, but I don't know what to do about it! Apart from that and the usual not listening though, he's doing really well. He bugs the crap out of us by trying to sound out every word that he hears and trying to read every word he sees, but it's kinda cool when it's not irritating
Jared is such a fun, fun personality, but at the same time it has it's drawbacks. He is as cheeky as you can possibly believe and has a bit of 'tude on him.
Josh is an absolute delight. He's so happy and placid. Loves a chat and is constantly, constantly smiling. No rolling (no surprise there, I don't think he can get his 8.5kgs butt off the floor!), but he has almost got sitting solo down pat. He's 4.5 months now and looks about 7 months. Naughty boy, he was supposed to stay little for a long, long time :(
I'm not finding having the three of them as hard as I thought it would be. Everybody always commented that going from two to three was really difficult, but that's not the case for me. The hardest times are the school run of a morning and the solo bedtimes. It's just such a challenge getting three kids fed, dressed and presentable, or the whole teeth-brushing, story-reading thing of a nighttime when they're all trying to go in different directions. I counted that I have less than 100 more solo bedtimes now until DH quits his job so that's not too bad!

Hey all... hope you are well. Just taking the time to pop in as I really dont sit on the laptop as much as I used to. I think its good coz I get more done and spend time with the girls instead of being on line half the day.
We are all good here. After about 5 weeks of someone being unwell we have had a good run (touch wood). Although I am thinking Becca might be coming down with something as she has a cough and that stinky sick breath. She is prone to tonsilitis so if she gets it a few more times this year they will look at chopping them out. She gets so sick with it poor little lady.
Olivia is doing well. So grown up. Shes looking forward to Kinda next year. Shes beautiful. I just look at her in amazement. Shes so smart, funny, firey, emotional, loving... so many things, I am so blessed. Oh no Im getting soppy!
Rebecca is doing well also, although I would have to say she has hit the terrible 2s big time. She doesnt listen, is great at ignoring you to the point you have to handle her to dress her or brush her teeth. Shes cheeky though, she knows shes doing it! She is georgeous though. Shes doing super with her tting. Her language is fantastic for a 2 year old.
Amy is growing so big. Shes 9kgs... no wonder my arm is dead a lot of the time!!! Shes rolling everywhere. She has 2 teeth, she eats like a horse... doesnt sleep fantastic but no suprises there!
As for me.... Im still up and down about having one more. I cried last week when I went to make an appointment to get the implanon in so I didnt make it. Im going to wait til the end of the year to see how I feel. Also want to keep losing weight as hormal pills make me put on weight. Maybe Ad will have changed his mind by then!!! I dont know. I went back to work for a day! Havent done anything since. I need to go and do it again and regularly... just to get my hours up.
Ok... crying amy, I think shes stuck! Take care all

Hi there lovely!
We are ok here. I am struggling a bit with being really isolated out here, being lonely and bored and getting rather frustrated. But the kids are going great guns. Liams 3rd bday is fast approaching, my gosh....he's 3!! He still seems like my little baby, although his development is coming along in leaps and bounds. He's a funny little man and always has us laughing at him over something, such a clown. But he's also so flippant and doesn't listen to a word I say to him...no actually he listens and quite often quotes me word for word when it suits him, but if it doesn't, he totally TOTALLY ignores me. Lily is...Lily ferocious and determined, passionate and proud. And a sook, selfish and needy! But she too is absolutely beautiful. My little Princess, though not so little now! Caelan is 6mths in 3 days. He's getting big and is growing way too fast for my liking, lol.
Other than that not much going on. We are planning a trip to Sydney for a week or two in August, but that's about as fun as my life gets at the moment!
:hello: Hope everyone else is well.

Hi everyone, hows things? I dont know if you all get back on here much.... lets see there was kel, Kaz, Kris, Mel, Jen and me...... I come here on and off but dont post as much. Youre all on my fb!
Life is pretty busy here with my 3! Amy is almost 1. Shes beautiful but she doesnt sleep... every night! I thought I would like #4 until about 4 months ago! When she got teeth.
Olivia is fantastic, shes so big and strong and smart and stubborn. Shes soo proud of herself that shes riding with no training wheels!!! It was such a proud moment, I loved the look on her face. So many proud moments to look forward to.
Rebecca is nearly 3! Shes had a growth spurt and is taller and much more mature... all of the sudden!
Im doing ok. Been sick for a month now finally on ABs..... trying to get back into working once a week too. Ive lost 9kgs since Jan.... 8 more to go. I think it will take me less if I put more effort into it!
Better go feed Amy. Would be good to hear from you all:)

Hello lovely!!
We are around too! It's been a terrible week or two here, with a very sleepless household. Caelan isn't well and I am stuck on the lounge or in front of the puter today with a sooky lalaa baby. I haven't slept well for what seems like forever and I'm feeling it but I don't wnat to take Cae out because it's sooo windy here and he's snotty and has a temp and is just a general misery guts. My back is screaming at me too, but he won't let me put him down even when he's asleep. Ggrrr!
Lily and Liam are being angels although they keep on asking me to play games with them and stuff and I'm feeling terrible that I can't really do alot with them. They're getting sick of colouring, tv and trains! And quite frankly so am I!
I can't believe Amy is almost 1! My goodness time flies way too fast. Liam just had his 3rd birthday and he's such a little man now. He's talking so well and is so funny and clever! Though the tantys have ramped up a notch and he's sooking over every little thing!
Lily is just too gorgeous and is a little mummy. She loves to help me and is so proud of herself when she makes Damien or I happy! She is getting so clever and is figuring out things for herself. She's very into numbers and letters/writing now. I love watching her learn she's such a sponge.
Good on you for losing weight! I am trying though having just gone to Sydney and these past few weeks beign back home with no sleep have been a bit of a write off with eating or exercise. I will keep on keeping on though, it has to come off permanently sooner or later if I keep trying!
Ok gotta go, sooky lalaa is sick of the 'puter!

Hi guys!!
I'm up far too late so I'll make it quick!
We're going really well! I'm really looking forward to school holidays at the end of the week, although Louis stayed home with us today...we had such a great morning painting and we made a hand print from each of the boys...
Louis is great - he's so smart and sensitive, Dylan is just gorgeous - he is such a gentle boy - growing up SO fast. Ethan is great - talking heaps and I'm amazed at his little expressions and character. Jayden is cheeky! He can be really grumpy but more often now he is a real pleasure! His sleep still isn't perfect but it's improved a lot...
I'm sure I'm going to get clucky - I have moments even now - not that we can/or would ever do anything about it! LOL!
I'm going through a major spurt myself I must say - I've been reading and learning heaps over the last couple of years anyway but I've hit the jackpot I feel in the last few weeks...I've been researching homeschooling for ages but now I've stumbled across unschooling...sounds wacky but the parenting philosophy is AMAZING! Anyway, I've already made changes in the home and it's paying off really well! It's a bit to get my head around though as it really is the opposite of the way I was raised (and most people for that matter!) but it seems to really make sense! I won't rubbish on too much about it but you can google Sandra Dodd or unschooling and you'll find some basics...just keep in mind that it's not "passive" parenting as some people mistake it for...
Anyway, hope to chat again soon! xo
