Yeah whats with the bad sleeping? I was up to Emily 4 times last night and tonight she's already woken twice really upset yet in the day she is fine. :dunno:
Kaz- sleep deprivation is terrible on the brain isn't it, some days I feel I have thick fog in my head I have to fight thru to get simple thoughts out. So where are you going away too? Have fun.
malyna- easy way is not to expect! Lol, A is a cheeky one, maybe because he is doing everythin now his brain may be going million miles a min with all the development thats why he doesn't sleep so well. Thats what I wondered with Ash, she was a bad sleeper and did all the milestones quite early. Thats great DH has settled him, does he settle bit easier when you're not there cause he knows boobies aren't around?
Olive- How is Sophie now?
I've spent today rearranging outside, we have a smallish outdoor area, sort of annoying cause its along the front and side (no backyard) so trying to make good use of all the space. I find it nice to sit out there while Ash plays and Emily sits on picnic rug and plays, very relaxing and I don't stress bout housework when I'm not looking at it.

Arrrrhhhh I've been out of the loop. Didnt realise there was a new thread!!!
Ash is going great. She is such a gem. I think she will give me grief as a teenager as she is pretty easy going. We are almost crawling. She does this thing now where she gets up on her hands and her feet and holds her whole body up like a yoga position!! She is moving her legs forward but hasnt worked out how to move her hands forward so she doesnt collapse. I'm pretty sure she will have it in the next few weeks.
Have heaps more to tell you but going to finish my game of scrabble and will be back tomorrow and to read and catch up on everything.
Really hoping all the babies sleep through for everyone tonight so all of you beautiful mummies get some much needed rest. :grouphug:
-
Ali - I bet Ash is crawling really soon. Alex did that yoga cat pose for a week or so before he crawled - woudl rock back and forward.
Shell - pls come around to my house and organise me!
I hope we all get a good night sleep tonight. - Alex has already woke once (and i got him down at 9.30pm)
Went and saw new moon again last night with a GF - hey I'm not complaining about getting out of hte house at the moment. Next movie will be Avatar :-D

Arrrrh...... Lewis up all night again, second night in a row, feeding two hours.....and wouldn't resettle... the top teeth are still causing him a bit of grief poor red rosy cheeks...
and the cheeky devil just spends all day happy as larry...this better be a short lived faze im happy to get up once or twice a night but no way am i getting up several times..
Sorry for the selfish post....

Arrgh! What is it with these babies and not sleeping!! Miss J was up every 3 hours last night!
Apart from that she is being very cute and really trying to crawl but not succeeding. She can slide around on the floorboards on her belly or sitting - maybe she will be a bumshuffler :dunno:
-
Funny that they are pretty much ALL doing the same thing in regard to sleep, be it that they are all within 2 weeks of each other.
E too, is hapopy most of the time during the day, but upset during the night. Last night she was awake for about an hour. I just ignored her as she wasn;t really crying and eventually went back to sleep!
-
Weird isn't it....is it a wonder week?? or have we just discovered another one?;)
-
Oh no girls!!! I dont want to have to go through no sleep! I dont cope very well! Is this what I have to come!
Malyna- yep she is doing both those things. Wont be long! So jealous you saw New Moon. I havent been to the movies in a year! :( Am going to go this Christmas though. Going out this Sat night with the girls from mothers group and DP is going to have DD. WOO HOO! It was my compromise seeming he is playing cricket Sat and Sunday this weekend.
Pinny- Hope the teeth come though and stop causing grief! We dont have any teeth yet but from what you girls have said I am not looking forward to it.
Nai- Is J waking G up?? Hope not. I dont know how I would go at gettign up to two kids.
Lilima- DD does that too. Wakes but I never get up anymore unless she is really crying. She normally sorts herself out. Is is working well as she now even keeps herself occupied in her cot in the morning when she wakes up for a good hour. When she goes to sleep at night I put one of her soft toys right down the bottom of the cot and in the monrning she finds it and I always go into see her playing with it. SO cute!
Shell- I have been spenind more time outside now as well. It has been lovely and the dogs love it when we are out there.
:hello: to everyone else.
How are our pregnant mums doing? OP? Ellie? Anyone else? ;)
-
Well I know why Em isn't sleeping, she woke this morn with terrible runny nose and she has that breath that I've noticed the girls get when they're sick, can't explain it but I knew when I was up to her last night she was getting something cause of the breath. She been so upset at sleep time this arvo and tonight so just given her nurofen so hope that helps the aches and pains.
-
Nai - someone told me that there are 200+ different variations on crawling - so maybe J is crawling in her own unique way.
:hugs: to everyone :grouphug: Go team mum!!

-
well she slept all night :o til 5am fed then back til 7.45am so that was ok!
-
Emily is carrying on too atm, she played from 10:45 til after midnight last night so you'd think she'd be tired! Prolly overtired, is in there fighting it. Still very snotty.
I really need to get the cot outta my room, keep saying it but never move her, was great for first 6 months or so now its a pain if she sees me or hears me she will sit up and be poking her face to the bars and calling to me.
On a positive note I'm going to see Britney Spears again tonight for free! not very good seats but its free. Friend of Df works for melb park so occasionally they get offered tickets and he was there at the right time and snatched them up for me.
