Last nights effort:
Down at 7:45pm, woken by phone at 8:30pm resettled, woke again at 9:30pm, distressed. Fed and given panadol (we think a tooth is trying to come down but who really knows?), woke and fed at 12:30am, woke and fed at about 3am, did not resettle, was quiet for 10-15mins then screaming, went on until 4:30am, attempted to give more panadol but we'd run out (I thought we had more in cupboard but couldn't find it :wall: ), can't remember how he was resettled - possibly DP? He woke again after that but I just heard DP coming back to bed so not sure what time, woke and fed at 6:45am, went back down. Woke and up at 7:15am. I got to bed at midnight because he only slept one hour yesterday and I was still needing to get stuff done. *yawn* Odette, I don't know how you do it hun.
We're going away for the weekend for a kind of combined birthday party and celebration of surviving the first year of parenthood. Perhaps we're being too premature (about surviving I mean LOL!!). I really thought that by 12 months all this sleep stuff would have been sorted out. How naieve was I?? hahaha!

AFU - making the most of the last of the nice nights before we get to the freezing nights again. Oh and we had the surveyors around today - yah! Maybe now we can renovate the back end of our house - now we just have to win lotto!

eeekkk kaz :hug: we had a few of those nights a few nights back, was up around 6-8 times :o, then things settled back down again, hope you have a wonderful time away and you all sleep well!
malyna its humid as here, waiting for this rain were supposed to be getting, the weather keep changing too, bring on winter and the rain!
oh to win lotto, even just a little bit would be nice!!

AFU i thell you this little chick, namely DD2, will turn my already greying hair grey in record time the way shes going! she learnt today to climb onto the couch which lead to climbing on top ofthe back of the couch and sitting there :o fell off once, luicky catch from mum, fell down a slide on monday=fat top lip, no fear at all, and a big sister who eggs her on by laughing isnt helping!
she also trys to meow and say woof woof, clever girl! the meow is so cute, its a very particular mouth movement its hilarious!! she can blink and blinks when i wink at her, she ate half her tea tonight with a fork :o stop growing up kiddo!!!

op :hug: i think when parents look after grandchildren they shouldnt tell you if bubs walked etc... but she will have soooo many firsts that you will get to see first :hug:

kalani, DD2 chucks some huge tanties, throws things, throws her self on the floor etc.. but thats what im like :redface: so im to blame :lol: but like others have said maybe its a compo of lack of sleep etc.. :hug: youo have so much on your plate, i honestly dont know how you do it!
heaven ive been meaning to aske what camera do you have? and do you use photoshop 6??

Olive- oh god not the back the couch, I remember alot injuries from DD1 and couches. yeah this humid weather sucks, the other day they forcasted monday as 17! So dissapointed thats changed.
Kaz- I hope that was a one off, :hug: how you feeling tonight? Did you get any rest today?
Emily had massive chuck with her dinner tonight, god knwos what was up cause after that she was fine and started eating my dinner off my plate!

shell i was peeved too about the change, that means more humidity :doh: were ment to be going to a park with friends so will have to play it by ear!

Olive - eek! with the lounge diving. Love the meows and the woof - LOL! I've tried Alex with spoons and the food goes everywhere.
Shell - way to go Emily - 'stolen' food always tastes better.
I don't mind humidity - lived in brisvegas for 3 years and I miss not leaving the windows open all year.

Hi all,
We have aclimber here too! She climbs the couches all the time, then climbs the back part, and yes she can fall off! I found putting socks on her gives her less grip. She cracks it though.
There are some pictures on facebook, as yesterday she kept climbing the coffee table at my Sis's and then standing up and clapping! (cheeky)
Ok I promise to come back tomorrow and read posts properly, just a bit tired tonight, as bus day yest (DH had the snip!) and worked today.

Hi Everyone! Well I am back on board and the cold has gone Yay! Work has been really tough this week but it IS getting better.
Olive, Meg, Ali - Yay on all the waking and climbing!! I'm saying yay as I don't have a walker or climber yet :lol: Miss J is still crawling and just pulling herself up on things cruising.
OP - it really sucks when they do things and you're not there. DD1 was walking at CC from 14m but not at home - all her carers and some of the other mums saw her walking before we did! We had to trick her into walking for us at home and that was at 15m!
Kaz - I hope the sleeps are getting better. Miss J is waking up during the night screaming but after a cuddle and putting her aquarium on she goes back to sleep ok. I think it's her teeth as she just suddenly starts screaming at the top of her lungs for no apparent reason.
Shell - I hope the chuck was a once off!
Malyna - I would love to renovate our house too (we would also have to win lotto...)

blahhhhhhhhhhhh crap night, millie has a runny nose soo was unsettled last night, two feeds and several resettles via a cuddle, plus S awake at 4.30am as well!

Meg- So definately no more than if hubbys had the snip, how is he doing? How is your sister by the way? I was thinking bout it today wondering how she was doing.
Been busy here too, half the time I wonder what I've done all week cause week after week just flies by! Guess thats just what happens with kids and work.
DD1 been really upset when I take her to CC each week, crying gripping my leg yet when I pick her up she wanst to stay longer!

Geez girls, I thought I was scared of childbirth but I am actually scared of this party this weekend! So many people coming to our backyard!!! Far out. So much to do this week and I am working 3 days again so not a lot of time.
I made two tutu skirts today! Feel so proud! Yet to put them on DD as we had another birthday dinner tonight.
ETA Shell- Hope the DC drop offs get better., They certainly know how to give you the mummy guilt :hug:

Sounds like everyone has been busy busy. I've had DH home for a week off work - i don't know if it's a good thing or not. Went to see Alice in wonderland with a GF on Saturday. I heart johnny Depp
Sent another request off to an agent, have got my fingers crossed. Printed out all 235 pages of my book and am editing it. It looks so different on paper. Can't sleep. DH is on Alex duty tonight.
Not much happening here.Don't have a lot of good things to say at teh moment.

Meg - I must have missed the bit about the snip! How's DH coping? Is he in the worst pain in the world ever? ;)
AFU - spent yesterday mopping up after our storm on Saturday where we had water running all the way through the house from the ceiling. We used every towel and bucket in the house. I spent all day yesterday washing and drying them! We survived ok and relatively little damage. We had no power for 4 hours but it wasn't too bad.

Nai - far out. I've only just seen the footage on the TV - Melbourne really did get hammered. Hope it doesn't take too long to get it fixed. :hug:
