Freya had her harness fitted last week so we are all just adjusting to it, seems ok so far, BF is a bit weird with her legs in the air but I'll get used to it.
I have my first formal mother's group tomorrow, wish I were looking forward to it. Feeling very sleep deprived and even though I keep going to bed earlier each night, I find it hard to get back to sleep after each night feed (we had 4 feeds in the night last night). Thank goodness my MIL is coming back up to help out this week.

I was wondering how she was going with the harness!
Laila has been waking hourly for a week so last night i was relieved to get 4 hours in a row!! She only woke twice!
Yay for twice! I find DD falls asleep before finishing a feed, hence wakes up hungry not too long after!
ammaki - how was Laila last night? I haven't had a chance to take a pic of those clothes as my camera is having a hissy fit. When it decides to work again I'll take a pic for you :)
dusty - how'd your mothers group go?
Ambah has been really cranky the past 24 hours. Yesterday, she didn't feed at all during the day, then fed at 6pm when going to bed. Which meant she woke like a dozen times last night. But when she woke, she started screaming immediately. And it was a different type of scream, like she was in pain or something??? She's ok this morning, she's currently in her bouncer giggling at Nina.
She is back to her waking once or twice and although co sleeping wasnt necessary last night i wanted to snuggle with her so we did from 4am hehe
No rush for the pic hun! Laila slept pretty much alllll day Monday and i thought great she'll be up all night but she wasnt! I hope Ambah is back to her normal self tonight!

After all the sunny days we've had (got all the washing and most of the cleaning done then woo!) we are having an over cast rainy day so Laila and I will be in our PJs all day :D
Dusty, how is Freya going in her harness? At least having it put on a such a young age means she will be out of it quicker & at least she won't even remember being in it. Hope you enjoyed mothers group.
Jodi, hope Ambah isn't getting sick or anything, but if she's ok today then maybe her screaming was just coz she was really hungry.
Ammaki, sometimes I love rainy days where I do absolutely nothing all day. It's so comfy staying in your pjs.
Lexie is 4mths old this Saturday already. I can't believe that she is growing soooo quick. It makes me sad coz she's my last bub. She still doesn't enjoy tummy time, but loves sitting up in her bumbo. Needles next week eeek. It's my wedding anniversary today. Bloody DH wouldve forgotten only I reminded him yesterday. He said he didn't realise today was the 20th already. Typical man!

Just a question, how big are everyones bubs, everyone keeps telling me how little Tehya is, but the mchn tells me she is perfect, i'm starting to get a complex, lol
jlk Laila was 5kg at her 2 month check up, everyone tells me she looks small too but she's smack bang in the middle for all the growth averages! When people think L is small i often think its because there are so many 10 pounders these days that people just forget what a 7 pounder looks like!
aww boooo to the needles Leigh! DP is hopeless with dates!! Maybe its a male thing!

Happy Wedding Anniversary Leigh!! Mine was on Sunday just gone - the 17th. Are you doing anything special. Mine wasn't romantic at all, we spent the whole day travelling home from visiting my family (about 8 hrs). H was a great traveller and when not sleeping just played with the toy I have hanging across his seat.
Wow Lexie is almost 4 months already! Good luck with her vaccinations.
Jodi, glad Ambah is back to her normal happy self. Hope you've managed to rest a little today and she sleeps well for you tonight.
Amy, how crap is this weather again!! Laila's weight sounds just fine to me, there are still plenty of 7 pounders around.
JLK, not sure this will be any help to you at all as Hudsons size and weight are 97th percentile plus but he now weighs around 7.8kgs and is about 69cm long. His length is rediculously off the charts now. I've got the opposite complex to you because everyone thinks H is 6-7 months old! Poor bubba.

Ambah has been sleeping pretty much all day. I really hope she's not getting sick. Nina & Ambah have coughs, so far that's it, I hope they don't get any worse either.
jlk - Ambah is long (62cm at 8 weeks) but is tiny in weight (just under 5kg at 8 weeks). She's in 00 clothing, but they hang off her as she doesn't have many fat rolls lol
Jlk, Lexie is in 000 is short & chubby. She was 5.2kg at 10wks (that's the last time she was weighed). I will find out again next wk what she now weighs.
I guess it dosent help that they all have different starting weights.
Tehya was 5.2kg at 11 weeks and 62cm. she is being weighed again tomorrow

Just popping in with a quick hello. Have been super-busy, we are moving house next weekend. I have been reading, but don't have much time to post at the mo!
All is well with us, I'm really enjoying my boys. Ted is just gorgeous - a very cruisy baby. He only catnaps by day (unless he is in the pram or car) and still wakes 1-2 times a night, but he resettles well.
Dusty, I hope you and Freya are adjusting to the harness. I know at least 3 people whose bubs have had them recently and they have all gotten used to them very quickly (both mum and bub). The time will go quickly, and like Leigh said, she won't remember it.
JLK, not sure what Ted's current weight is, but my DS1 was (and still is) small. I reckon Ted's thighs are almost as thick as his! As long as she is happy and healthy, then I'm sure she's fine.

Jlk, I'm good, busy cleaning, we have a house inspection this wk. It's my DD2's bday tomorrow, then wed is lexie's needles & then Thurs is another quick tidy up around the house for the inspection on Fri. DD2 is sick with a cold at the moment, it's a shame coz we wanted to take her swimming tomorrow.

Lexie had her 4mth needles today. She did really well and only cried for about 30 seconds. She's a chubby bub & weighs exactly 7kg and is 62.5 cm long. She's doing really well!!
Not looking forward to those needles Leigh! Good job Lexie on the minimal tears!!
We're all good hear, Laila is now loving her walker, she cant go anywhere but she loves sitting up playing with a few things on the tray! She can edge backwards thats about it hahaha!
Bit of a personal question, feel free to ignore it, but has anyone had AF return yet? How long should i expect her to stay away?
awww, poor bubba. Glad she wasn't too affected by the needles. Great weight!
ammaki - with DD1 & DD2, AF came back at 6 weeks. This time round, I haven't got AF back (YAY!!!!), so, you never know! ;)
Ammaki, with DD1 AF returned at 4months, with DD2 I had the implanon implant put in while in hospital but removed 5mths later coz I continuously bled for the whole 5mths (so bled from the moment I gave birth to DD2 til it was taken out 5mths later) and with Lexie AF returned at 2mths & has been on time each month (so have just finished my 3rd AF). I was hoping she'd stay away for longer.
Just a quick check in sorry for me post.
F's had the harness for 2 weeks & seems ok with it. She had her 2nd bath yesterday. We are trying anew settling routine (day 6) with some results but I'm pretty exhausted. F seems happier though. F & I are off to Brissy for a couple of weeks to visit family.

The longest stretch we've had is 5.5 hours & I was exploding by then LOL.
LOL I know the feeling Dusty, it can be pretty painful. I also had to pump after feeding him because they were so full!! My breast pump was ready to for this morning just in case he did it for me again but no such luck, I got a lovely smiley 2am wake up from him. Oh well, it's progress.

Hi Everyone! i've read up on a few posts, its great to see everyone is doing well.
to answer the question way back we named our girl L.O.L.A. did that so no one can type it in and find info (IYKWIM). if anyone doesn't remember she has DS and is exclusively bfeeding which is so terrific. she is doing well, slow to put on weight so i think she is just under 5kg. my DD1 was 8kg at this age. anywayz, just letting u guys know its been very busy with appointment after appointment. L has to undergo open heart surgery on 18 nov, so more tests and we have to fly to melb and have to stay at least 10 days, depending on how the surgery goes. its been an emotional rollercoaster, but we are doing ok. melb will b a bit challenging with feeding and pumping etc, but no different to when she was born. gavage in the nose to feed etc.
she is smiling and swatting at her toys which is just great, so her progression is excellent.
i hope everyone has a good xmas break, i don't know when i'll b online next..... bfn xx

We've bought DD the baby's first toy box thing, and some clothes and we want to get a joint present for the girls, thinking a big swimming pool or something, i think summer is going to be a hot one! DSD will be getting a bike, some clothes and am thinking of a few little toys.
How bout you Leigh?
We've got Lexie a my first toybox too & some clothes. DD1 is getting a new bike, DD2 is getting car thing that she can sit in & drive around. They're getting other smaller things too, clothes, toys etc but that's the main big things that they're getting.
Sounds like our shopping lists are similar hehe i think Jodi got the toy box as well
