Ashie, i'm sorry for your loss  GL and have fun ttc-ing!
Sally, good to know Tristan is better. Hope it's nothing serious. And sounds like a very good bargain you've got!
Grace has been grumpy and clingy. Not sure if it's because a few more teeth are coming out. And oh, she fell backward this morning while standing holding on to the activity table . She wasn't hurt but of course she cried because of the shock, but hubby was upset I wasn't there watching her playing. Well, somebody has to do last night's dishes because somebody forgot doing it and woke up late :wall:
Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter!
On Friday morning we set of for our camping adventure! Our camping spot was located between Cervantes and Jurien Bay (WA) right on the coast, 4wd only. We camped within about 20-30 metres from the beach, literally behind the dune hehe. It was such a good weekend, although I did miss having a proper toilet! And it was brilliant to have a good shower after a few days of baby wipes  I caught 2 fish and lost a few in the surf. DP caught a few too and Brendan pretended to catch some lol. The boys had lots of fun building sand castles and eating it too  Had some good fun fishing, DP caught some Taylor, really good eating. Brendan mostly ran around, building sand castles and riding the 4-wheeler (with someone else of course lol) but he did like to watch DP fish too.
And our camping friends caught a Sting Ray, these buggers are really hard to get into the beach! SO strong! Tristan started getting cranky by end of Sunday, there wasnt much he could do. All up an excellent weekend!
Tristan's thrush is so much better now, almost completely normal :D
Sounds like you had fun Sal :D Im glad Tristan is getting better!! Leah had a temperature over the weekend and now has diahorrea. She's taking extra BFs but still refuses water. It's no fun having sick bubbas.
oh my poor tobias at the moment he's still going crazy with teething, just hoping for his teeth to pop through soon! even the eyeteeth are coming down so i think that once the first pop thruogh the others will follow their just so much teeth coming down that we see in his mouth but hoping to see one pop through, he been sitting up again, but wont do it for long he just loves to play with his feet all day, i wish i knew how to stop him for a little while just to show the people who are picking on him cause he's not doing alot saying their things wrong with him, as mum's we know them very well and i have seen him do things but he's just so lazy! happy to lay back and do nothing, but rolling god he can roll out of the lounge! i am going to get him a new walker but not sure which ones have good support and are easy for them to move about in, have had a few that the poor bubs cant move along in even on smooth flooring, trying my hardest now to get him more mobile to stop the horrible things being said babies do things in their own time lincoln didnt crawl he walked at 13 or 14 months then started crawling, so me and toby will prove them wrong and show them what he can do, as i know it take time and it doesnt help when he's grumpy and throwing himself about, specially at 11kgs oh what a lump he is. still spotting from mc but i have the bleeding problem where i dont stop lol thats why we were ttc number 3 then get oblation done i am sick of having problems and paying out $100's a year in pads! and giving that im allowed to ttc again right now its great hopefully a little one will stick this month and i can organise a shopping trip after 12 weeks!
I hope Leah is better soon Ali
Ashlee, hope things settle done for you xx
Had Tristan's physio appt this morning and she is very very pleased with him. For his corrected age (8 months) he is on the 97th %ile for gross motor skills. His feet are still curving inwards, but his legs are heaps better, unless you know he does it you can't really notice it. She is going to ring in a month ad if it's all good no mre physio! She spoke about his lack of speech/sounds/noises but was happy with my thoughts, that he is focussing on other areas of development for now and speech will come later. I am not concerned at all about him, he is doing very well.
Can't believe how quickly this year is going! Nearly 10 months old!
omg omg :o
tobias crawled backwards yay!
he's been lifting himself up to crawling position the last two weeks and then this morning i said time to change your bum he got up on his knee's but instead of coming to me he went the other way!
its a first time for all of us lincoln never crawled so i am excited and now waiting for him to do some more lol.
i had to share it with you all, a very proud mummy at the moment, and it will put all those people picking on him to shame he can do things, but in his own time!
WooHoo Go TOBIAS!!
Thought I'd do an update :D
Tristan is now 10 months old. He is crawling, sitting, kneeling, standing, cruising and taking some assisted steps. Everything he "should" be doing :D And this morning he finally did some babble too! And best of all it was "mumumumum" :loveshower:
He is eating everything we do and really enjoys his meat. He is a little savage when it comes to food, I'm sure people think I don't feed him. It's no big deal for him to eat an entire toasted cheese sandwich and most of Brendan's too. Tristan eats more than Brendan does in one sitting than Brendan does over an entire day. He LOVES water and drinks from a sippy cup like a pro. He still fits in 2-3 breastfeeds a day, but he treats them more like a snack now hehe.
He is still a petite little thing (gets weighed next week) which I'm starting to get a little concerned about because he eats SOOOO much (yes I know he is more active now, but when you consider the following I think it's only fair I be a little concerned). Over the past 2 measures he has dropped 2 %iles (for height) His head circumference also dropped a %ile. If he hasn't grown in height I think I'll see about seeing a paediatrician.
His legs are barely noticeable now :D He is almost standing with his feet the right way! A few more weeks and I think he will be all good!
How are you guys all doing?
Sally, that's great news! I smiled as I read your post, as if I could 'see' how proud you are :) Tristan sounds like he has quite the appetite too!
I've been a bit of a lurker in this thread for the last couple of posts...oops. Sophie has 2 bulging top front teeth just waiting to bust through. She's being a bit fussy with her eating lately, so I'm hoping it's to do with pending teeth. I really should get her weighed, I have no idea how heavy she is! I was holding her 4 month old cousin the other day and I swear he's a lot heavier than she is! Her personal best for steps is 16, but this was only witnessed by DH, so I'm not sure if he was actually paying attention properly...
Hope everyone else is doing well!
In the last few days, Leah has Finally started sitting up. She also has her first tooth. Still bfing well and happy as larry
tobias well he asnt changed much lol, he is eating vegies now, going to start him on lumpier food this week to see how he goes.
he babbles all day long, specially dad dad dad, no teeth but lumps all over the place when they pop alot will come i think, still trying to master backwards crawling but his rolling everywhere.
he clapped his hands the other day! i have been showing him for months now and friday night he decided ill give mummy something to get excited about!
and he's starting to feed himself he can put his spoon in his mouth! so i have been letting him do that but he can get very messy lol.:shakehead:
i spoke to doctor about him more, and he thinks its lazyness and also his weight, but cause he can get up on his knees its a good sign, he wont walk for a little while cause he needs more strength in the legs to support his weight, but he thinks we are doing great, specially how he streches his arm out when he wants picking up, and hes mucking about holding his bottle etc, he said toby is good with other things like speech hand things and stuff so i am happy with the outcome.
his reflux is still the same, smiling and sicking lol.
hopefully my af doesnt arrive friday then he might have a little sibling so fingers crossed:pray:
WooHoo sounds like everyone is doing well!!
We have (almost) 3 teeth here, Tristan has the bottom middle two and is getting one of the top outer ones.
Hi all.
We are going really well. Noah has 8 teeth, weighs 11.2 kilos, won't sit still crawling everywhere and standing up all the time. He's also trying to stand on his own but so far can only manage about 1 second before falling on his bum . He is also going really well with sitting on the potty. We manage to get him on there and doing wees about 3 times a day and now he will actually do a wee as soon as we sit him down. So cute!
I can't shut him up either. His favorite is daddaddad too although if he's upset he'll cry for mummmmm! Anyways, I'm glad to here that everyones bubbas are going well.

WOW Tara he's doing so well!!
All our bubbas are doing so well - and they aren't bubbas for much longer, only 2 months til DD turns 1 :o
DD has 6 teeth, 4 up the top, 2 down the bottom. She has been crawling for about 2 months now and pulls herself up using the couch and walks holding on to it. She can stand on her own for about 10s and then falls down, usually laughing!
She's been saying dad-dad for quite awhile and said mum last week for the first time :D Oh and on Sunday she clapped her hands!
ashie  af doesnt show up!
hope you're all well!
hey girls, i thought i would share that i put some photos up of the boys in my photo album on here if you would like a little peakys lol, tobias is doing great he's down to one or 2 naps a day! he never slept much anyway even as a newborn lol, lincoln on the other hand wanted to go naps every 2 hours until one lol. i am really enjoying being a mummy, it can be hard at times but seeing them grow up and seeing them change and do new things is worth it!
I just knew that once they started popping up they would all come at once. Leah's second tooth is through today.
I am currently enjoying a rest while all 3 girls nap together. I love sleep time <3
They are all getting so big now. I don't want June to come yet :crying:!!
