Babies Born~June 16th-30th 2009 #1

:)yes toby spews his solids up too but he is fussy with food no lumps lol.
he is huge! i was asked by a doctor if the boys were twins!
i am preparing myself for another giant bub hard to believe i have big bubs only 5ft2 and just a tiny frame end up like i swallowed a beach ball hehe.
i am sitting here snacking on choc chip cookies what a good craving, its nice to know not to worry much about having a 3 c section in 3 years. and i think 5 years ago i wouldnt think i would have 2 kids and a third on the way. wouldnt change it love them too much lol:)

I weighed Leah today, 7.77kg, so she is still pretty petite.

Since dinner yesterday she has only had BM, pureed pears and a rusk, and the poo she did before was massive. Another couple of meals of pears and she should be properly cleaned out. I hope that is the end of the constipation!! And then we should be able to return to BLS.

I need to book her in to the doctor for her lack of sitting up but to do that I need to find a time when the older girls are in a good mood. Need to pack snacks and activities too. I suppose I should get my blood tests done too :$

Ashie, Brendan couldn't tolerate lumps either, but mostly because he was tongue tied.

Ali, with the sitting is she doing any kind of un-supported sitting/kneeling ect? Tristan can't sit properly, but he does w-sit (naughty boy lol) and prefers to kneel lol.
Not sure how it works there but here my CHN can refer to the therapy needed, sure beats a trip to the Dr! Leah is doing well, petite or not she's gorgeous!

Tristan has an appointment with the CHN on Friday right after our speech group session. Praying to have cracked the 7kg mark!

No Sal, she always hangs on when she is kneeling or pulling up on furniture.

Ah ok then, yeah I'd be trying to get into some physio then. Maybe she just needs a few excercies to help her along. Good luck!

tobias doesnt sit up either by himself yet either, doc said he will learn in his own time like crawling and walking, he speaking very well mum dad bub nan etc.. i think its just abit of lazyness cause he will sit in a walker or his other things but sit him on the floor he goes everywhere loves to grabs his feet wont leave them alone so thats a problem when sitting cause you cant eat them! he starting to want to crawl from me putting him up on all fours and he can hold his weight for a minute or so then plop! he is just such a lump too so i think he'll have to tough through it.

Haven't been in the forum for a while, look at how our little ones grow!

Ashie - Tobias is huge! Went to CHN last week, Grace is 7.60kg. She doesn't gain weight since Christmas :( Nurse said it's common beacause now she's very active.

Sally - hope Tristan breaks the 7kg mark!

Grace is crawling everywhere now. She's a curious little one! She doesn't stand straight yet but will stand while holding on to mummy/daddy/ottoman. She eats 3 meals a day and cheese/yoghurt/fruit pieces/homemade cookies in between. Oh, she DOESN'T roll yet!! I don't think she wants to, she resists when I tried to make her roll. Nurse said not to worry since she's crawling anyway.

Just got home from speech group and CHN.

Tristan has cracked 7kg! He is now 7040 grams, up from 6560 grams at 8 months. :dance: He is now 67.5cms tall too.

I agree with both those. Their weight plateaus out once they start getting active. I also agree on the rolling, she will strengthen her tummy muscles by crawling ;)

toby has been sitting up by himself for 5 whole minutes too! :clap:
he was watching hi5 he loves his shows on telly, and he just sat their watching them until they finished looked round to see us all staring at him then rolled over hahaha.
oh he is getting their, and any step is a good step he is going to take his time thou he a lazy boy.
on a sadder note its looking like i am having a mc :shakehead:
going for more bloods today to confirm.
started spotting after the transvaginal ultrasound and turned into what looks like a period, so at least i havent been in pain or bleeding all over the place.
hopefully try again asap lol, i want another bubs!

Hi girls,

I have no idea how much Noah weighs as I haven't had him done in a little while, but I'm fairly certain he's over 10kg's. He's also sitting, kneeling, crawling, pulling himself up and standing holding onto things with one hand all the time. He has 7 teeth and is so much fun now! On another note, DH and I have decided to start trying for another one so we're DTD all the time to try and :fertilise: that little egg :lol:

Ali: I hope they are able to help Leah sit up on her own and things get sorted out. How are u coping with the 3 girls on your own? I know I get so tired when Jeremy's away and it seems he's away all the time at the moment!

480 gram gain in 5 weeks. Less than what they want him gaining, but meh that's their problem! :lol:

Yeah we are going ok. I am having one of those 'Leave Me Alone' days and Leah is clingy today though :wall: DH will be home for the weekend and then only 3 more weeks of course!! Oh BTW, DH has told me not to put any pics of him in uniform up. To do with safety and confidentiality ;) Oh and GL with TTC ;)

As for Easter, Toys. A stuffed bunny rabbit or chick always goes down well.

*sigh* confirmed mc, but on the up side doctor gave me the all clear to start rumpy pumpys again lol, ( been eager to hehe :redface: )
he said it was fine cause everything that needed to be passed has and theirs no harm in trying now specially when my hcg levels on sat were 11 the blood taken today should read under 5 so thats another good reason to!
toby got a toy teddt giraffe at shopping today he loves it cuddles and laughs at it!
still waiting for toothy pegs from toby, his gums are so tough! my dh didnt cut teeth til one when he was a baby.
i am go glad toby gave sitting up a go at least i know their aint anything wrong its just lazyness, its hard trying to get a stubborn boy out of his comfort zone and doing something new.
glad to hear everyones bubs are doing so well! my doctor commented on toby saying i was right having him almost 2 weeks early huge for me and now look at him even bigger his has dimples on his thighs hahaha.
well at least he is well fed lol, always smiling and covered in sick from reflux a very happy baby!

We have not long got home from the hospital with Tristan. I changed his nappy around 3pm everything normal and fine. Changed it again at 5:45 and his willy was almost double in size, it was really red and swollen and there was blood on his nappy. They are not sure what the issue is exactly, but are treating for infection. If it doesn't get any better get him to the Dr asap, otherwise Thursday. Freaked me out quite a bit, it was huge for such a little fellow! It looks very painful and he had been pulling at his nappy a bit for about 5 mins before I changed him (that's why I changed him) Nurse and Dr said he looked like a circ'd baby (he hasn't been) it was so swollen the foreskin was pulled back and the inside was on the outside. Not pretty! He's asleep now, so hopefully it goes down.
