elf: i sooo understand that! Vic is just above the 75% too and is in the 90th% for weight. hope lump starts to settle for you. vic did the 2 hrly feeds and when he calmed down it took my boobs 3 days to follow! but DH's comment? "ooo nice cleavage!"

Poopie: its hard. but they soon forget. yep, it was hard seeing vic get jabbed. but it was harder when we didn't have a clue what was 'wrong' even now they 'think' it was meningitis. they'll never know. hope Harlee is ok (im sure she will be) she may snooze more though. but tis normal!

AFM: Went to the MCHN today. Vic (i finaly asked LOL!) is on the 90th% for weight and just above the 75th% for height. happy with how he's going too which is nice! such a change from DJ. DJ has had two molar points pop though and an eye tooth (EVIL THINGS) over the last 48hrs! poor poppet has been a "cling on" to daddy! but he's been good today. inc. stealing part of my coliflower and white sause bake! cheeky little thing. Vic's been feeding really well. i even did my first "you have no idea i'm breast feeding feed" today. while printing out some photos for MIL's birthday pressie. sat with vic in the sling picking them/editing them. which again was nice. i told DH that i might get a shirt made up for public bf. "Warning, breastfeeding in process. don't like it? dont look. you pervert!" but heres hoping it wont come to that!
Ohh when i saw my MCHN today she asked if DH and I had any plans for a 3rd. which i said "kind of. we're not 100% sure yet" and she made the comment "Ohh you need to give your body a rest. two babies in two years..." which i nicely told her "well from a phyisoligal POV, my body is *meant* to be birthing babies. the look on her face LOL.
But DH and I have said 2yrs min. between Vic and a possable 3rd. which would make Vic 2 (or 3) and DJ 3 (or 4). which im happy with. seeing as DH bought it up *and* even said we should "aim" for a early march baby or an early december baby due to star signs. (and birthday gaps lol)
oo gotta go my boobies are needed lol.

Lumpfeatures is 50th for weight and head circumference and 75th for length. I've only ever had babies who are the same percentage in all directions until they hit toddlerdom and get tall. I think I might need to re-think how I'm dressing him ...

oo gotta go my boobies are needed lol.
    Are boobies ever NOT needed?

My partner has baths with the toddler. When I went in to fish her out to dry her, she was getting one of her plastic dolphins to breastfeed from his nipples. Dolphins are mammals so they do drink milk but not sure about the whole cross species thing

Edit: not-feeding feeding. I was doing that at the hardware store the other day. Just wandering around with bub on boob (no sling) and noone noticed. And star signs? This house has a saggitarius (dec), two capricorns (dec/jan), a taurus (apr) and a cancer (jul). I don't think I'm compatible with ANY of them!

my my u chatter boxes!! glad everything is going good for everyone minus the jabs. we are a jab free household here, my family has bad immune responses to them, like food allergies going from minor to anaphylactic level after the jabs....
our feeding issues are slowly resolving with some good and some bad days. the last couple of mornings have been a bit haiiry with DS havimg a blocked nose when he woke up. but on the up side with top up formula feeds a couple of times a day he has put on 900gs in 8 days he was in the 10% for weight but now is in the 25% hes stayed the same (25%) for length. it means hes only just grown out of his 0000 onesies and still fits into his 0000 2pieces. his feet are too big for the feet in his 000 onsies tho which is just typical, his daddy has flippers for feet too.
we have a cancer, pisies and im a virgo... no idea on compatability, but we seem to be going ok lol
anyway id best be off, DF is wanting some attention now Mr c is finally asleep for the night. i have barely seen him for DAYS

Elf: aww thats cute about the toddler trying to get your DP to b/f her toy.

Mar: if he had a snooty nose breast milk will make him sneeze if you squert it up there lol. as for big feet. nothing wrong with that. good grip on australia! (psst, check out the message forum too :P )

in this house we have 1 Aries (me), 1 Aquarian (Dj) 1 Scorpio (DH) and 1 Cancer (vic) plus an Aquarian cat (female) and a Pisces cat (male) ...can you tell DH and I are into this kind of thing! also the funny/scary thing about DJ and Vic is DJ is Aquarian sun/cancer moon and Vic is the revrise!
oo better go and paint some stuff!

right so we start again from 25th august, does anyone remember what had been said?

the most interesting thing that has happened here is that as of my last GP visit (meant to check Mr C's weight gain) is after trying to DTD we find out that the internal bit of my epi scar has not healed properly, i have to go back next week to see if its improved if not, i dont know what we are going to do *sigh* and to make matters worse i also have a lump of scar tissue right at the opening as well.
but on a happier note DS now seems to be following the 50th percentile of growth so we are trialling no more top up formula feeds seeing as he wasnt having many anyway.

Mr C was really good while we were away, just slept on the plane and only had 2 days towards the end where he was ready to go home.

melbourne/vic girls, we are going to be visiting melbourne 1st-4th oct if u guys are around to catch up

hope everyone is going good xoxo

mar: bugger about the scar! i know my veejay isn't the same eather. i think i tore a little deeper, but its healed. so i kinda have a little back tunnel. i think if its not healed right - they may re-cut and stich (but i could be wrong) but :yay: on Mr C and gaining weight! Dj stuck with the 25th% with his bad weight gain but that was in part thanks to the reflux as for being in melb - where abouts will you be? i should be able to organise the boys (Inc. DH if your DF wants a man to talk to )

AFM: vics going well. having more and more awake time. he can happily hold his own head up for a fair while on the floor until DJ comes along and "kisses" his head, which always ends in Vic having slobbery spiked up hair, but it is veeery cute. this weekend we have my nan (DJ & Vics grate-grand mother)'s 90th birthday, she has 6 grate grand kids. 5 boys and 3 girls. it'll be the first time she (and me too lol) see my cousins twin girls.
I've also desided to be more healthy. i looked at myself today and hated what i saw. normaly i'm failry "meh" about myself but i looked and went " have i become?" i felt like i looked like my mother - an over weight women who took it out on me. (even while Pg with BOTH boys i got "ohh those horrable strech marks" comments, she made one three days after i came home from hospital with vic - in front of half my family so now im clearing out all the 'junk' food and looking for more healthy things. also (hopefully) the weather will clear up and there is an aths track near my inlaws place - which i may start jogging at - when in high school three laps with my Ipod in watching the white line where really easy, so im hoping to lose at lead 10 maybe even 15kg (well 10 is more realisic) by christmas. for 1) myself 2) my boys and 3) to rub it in my mums face (aaaaaaaaand maybe SIL's too) that i can look good and feel fanfriggin' tastic dispite two babies in two years and the second being nearer to 10lb!
hope every one is having a good "hump" day!

Cmar - sorry to hear about your scar... that sucks! Hope you can get it sorted son!

Dan - Lachlan is the same, holding his head up like a champ! Have a great weekend with your nan... 90 years old! WooHoo! I know how you feel re body image. I'm starting the 12 week body transformation next week Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation if you want more info. I'm getting pumped for it!

Hello everyone else!! Crap that BB went down and we lost posts! Ah well...

AFM - Lachlan rolled over from his front to his back today... first time! DH and I cheered and he gave us the biggest smile, like he knew what he'd done and he was so very clever for doing it. Super cute! This weekend we've got to meet with our rev from the church where we want Lachlan baptised... Christening date is set for 12th December and I want to wear a gorgeous pretty summer dress... and look gorgeous in it. I'm sick of having a flabby belly so I'm gonna go hard! 12 weeks to go!
Other than that, 2.5 weeks until I'm back at work. I'm so sad about it... but gotta keep telling myself its for the best... but I wish I didn't have to.

OK, I'd better go. I'm still in my towel from the shower and need to get dressed before Lachlan is up again! he's a good sleeper in the morning, but in the arvo he can be a little *****! Anyone else experience this??

    Love,

    Erica xx

erica- wow that looks good. but sadly we dont have $200 to spare i guess i'll muddle though it on my own. i kinda wish i had one good friend who was a SAHM too, cus then maybe i'd have reson to go to a gym. but sadly that also costs $$ or even just a long walk would be nice. as for going back to work its whats best for your family, KWIM? dont feel bad. and YaY go Lochie! rolling over, such a clever little man!!

Yeah Im getting to that point where I am just going 'bleh' to my body. I keep getting ready to go for a walk during the day, but as soon as I step outside, the weather is crumy and I dont want to be caught out in the rain with a dog and baby!
I have one of those cardio twisters, I give up after 2 mins though because it makes me crave chocolate for some reason.

cmar - sounds like a good plan to do a catch up, I can do any of those days, but if it's a 'bring your hubby along' well he will only be around on the 4th after 2pm, coz he is going away, but Im happy if it's any other day Any idea where abouts you want to meet? Im happy to offer our house, but it might be a bit far for Dan to travel, a midway point could be good too?
Thats great that you no longer need to do the top up feeds!

Erica - I need motivation, I was thinking of doing the biggest loser program, but the michelle bridges one looks like it will offer more, I might just do it I am quite lazy though, so doing excersize can be quite difficult. But I can do meal plans and control my eating if I really want to.

Dan - 90, wow that is awesome! Ah if only we lived closer I could become your walking buddy!

AFM: Well we had dh's omas funeral on tuesday. They did the burial first, and mil didnt want to tell us where it was because she didnt want us to go. So we got lost and showed up late, then there was a service at dandenong church, about an hour away from the cemetry, and we tell mil we dont know where it is so she says 'follow me' yeah thats cool if you want to be doing 100kmh down main streets where it is only 50kmh limit. So we got lost, dh was almost in tears saying he wants to go home and he feels unwanted by his family because nobody would tell him where it was. I had to stay calm for him and we got there in the end but stood outside as we were VERY late for that one. We could watch from the foyer and dh was crying because it was a sucky day and he didnt feel a part of it. He is still VERY angry at his mum.

Im currently listening to Harlee do the biggest explosion poo.. if only dh came home early, then he can have daddy cuddles a little sooner

Really Poopie!? YAY! today is the first day. My aim is to lose 15kg in 12 weeks... *eek* Look me up in the forums, my user name is EricaWarner

Well Lachlan seems to have regressed with his night time sleep as you all know from my face book posts. He was doing SO GOOD with sleeping through and now he's waking twice a night. Needless to say I'm tired ALL the time! Another growth spurt perhaps? Maybe he's going through a "wonder week"? He's such an easy baby otherwise.. just wish he would sleep for longer!

I'm back at work in 2 weeks time. Getting excited but still nervous. Went to the gym this morning and dropped L at the creche for an hour... first time at a daycare and he did great! I was a bit nervous and was thinking about him during my entire workout, but he was fine! Gonna do it again next Monday!

A few of my friends have had babies recently and a couple more have announced their pregnancies. So nice! Makes me a bit clucky... I kinda want to be PG again... I want to have my babies close together but my DH would have a heart attack if we got PG again... so will be waiting a couple of years still...

erica- he must be having a growth spurt.
poopie- that sounds good, if theres somewhere closer to u and/or dan i have a gps so i will probably be able to find it.
erica, poopie- oooh good luck!! i have only managed to get out for 2 walks since DS was born thanks to the HORRIBLE weather, the 2nd time we got caught in the rain... which was fun, the dog said "oh im cold and wet" and tried to get in the pram

this last week connor has slept thru his 10:30pm feed BUT waking up at 2am instead of 4am every night except 2! very annoying cos i normally wait up and go to bed after his feed and the 2 times ive gone to bed before his feed time hes woken up ...

CHN at the moment tho my bank account doesnt, i found some really cute things and a BF tea on one of the sponsor websites, it arrived today, it tastes ok.

how much r all the bubs weighing now? MIL showed me DF's baby book, he weighed 7.2kgs at this age DS only weighs in at 5.3kgs and he was only 4oz lighter than DF at birth!!

I have no idea how much the lump weighs, he was pushing 6kg last time we checked. Well and truly in 00 and then some.

He's going to get a swollen head though - I sit there with him on my lap and DD#1 comes up and says he's the cutest thing in the entire universe, he's just so CUUUUUTE and then DD#2 comes up and starts kissing him all over. And he smiles like crazy while they do this to him.

Sure, he's cute, but he's not THAT cute

I'm losing weight slowly ... the boobs are too big to fit anything under a 12. I have about 4 inches to lose on bum/boobs/waist, which is about 10kg, but I'm feeling more normal by the day.

Good luck Erica and Poopie - i've got to get back into the exercise for my back and mental health, but with just moving house DH hasn't got my treadmill out yet... and my body is really starting to suffer from it

I really want to come down on the long weekend but I don't know if I'm going to be able to... flights down are really expensive and DH wasn't too happy when he heard about me wanting to go away, but he is working so won't really be around anyway except to sleep!

BUT I am on orders to have time out for myself as I have been diagnosed with post natal depression... but they also want me to have time without having to worry about P. The whole thing sucks eggs! I've been referred to First Steps Parenting for counselling, plus I have to have a medication review and follow up appointment with the clinic nurse on Friday.

Had P weighed at 13w+4d and he was 4.6kg... still a little bubba but putting the weight on consistently now which is good. He still fits into 0000! Wearing 000 though at times, but it is more for the length and mainly onesie's for bed.

    bubba hugs all round xx
