well as most of you would know I have cyclone Ului visit us for my suprise birthday to Airlie Beach, but been that I was excited about finely getting to be in one after all the fizzler I have been though I was quite happy about it, the only downer was that once the power was out it didnt come back on ( still isnt I dont think ) so that meant we had no food on water and nothing to entertain the kids with... but they cope pretty well, loved having candles it would have all been fine if BHL hadnt gone all out and pick one the most $$$ places in Airlie Beach, so we were paying all this money with out been able to use any of it... not that it was there fault either but just annoying... there was honeymooners staying there aswell, they were ment to be on one of the island but couldnt go out due to Ului she was so not happy poor thing...

Tali that sucks about the cyclone crashing your party - but at least it didn't "crash" your party IYKWIM! I do hope you start being able to put down some roots sometime soon 0 maybe the kids will feel the way for you?

Bath I saw in FB that thins look better with Miss V - keep us posted!

My news - I am nearly 13 weeks pg. It is looking like Dh will study teaching next year and I will be a SAHM for ONE YEAR! We will be on a tight budget but thanks to some projected saving between now and mat leave and around $700 pw in government assistance I think we can do it. The plan is for DH to be working in 2012 once F is at school - by then #3 will be "old enough" to handle day-care a few days a week with Mum picking up the rest of the time, and Ollie will be nearly 4 so really able to handle it. With DH working as a teacher we will HOPEFULL be able to pay off our mortgage by the time #3 is at school. I so hope we can pull this off - to think I will have a 3-for-1 deal for a year (ie: being with 3 kids for a whole 12 months) AND that we can have 2 incomes coming into the house within the next few years would be marvellous. Plus DH is at the end of his tether being home with the kids - it was a nice idea, but he is soooo not suited to being a SAHD.

Tali - what a party to remember!!!! I'm sure it will be one you remember for a long time. Poor honeymooners lol!!! Did you get any of your money back? I know it's not the venue's fault but you certainly didn't get what you paid for. How are things up there now? Much damage around?

Rory - sounds like you have a plan! And a pretty good one too. I'm sure you guys will be able to make it work. DH has done so well being a SAHD. Not sure if my DH would have lasted as long!!! 13 weeks, wow that has gone quickly. I'm sure the next 27 will fly by ;)

Had my toe surgery on 19th and that went well. They decided to knock me out, rather than use twilight sedation which was fine by me! Recovery was so quick. I was in recovery at 7.35pm and DH came to pick me up at 8.30, home by 9pm. And I was feeling fine, toes nice and numb! Next day, numbness gone and toes very sore. I was on strict orders to keep my feet elevated for 7 days - easier said than done. Thankfully DH was home for the weekend but he started nightshift on the Sunday so I was on my own in the mornings. Trying to make breakfast and lunches with one hand on my crutches, the other trying to spread butter lol!!!! It was a bit tricky but we managed. For someone who doesn't sit around much, it was very hard to sit with my feet up and do nothing. By the end of the week I was over it. Went back to see my surgeon, he was happy but gave me another week off work as one toe has not healed as well as the other. Bandages have been removed (only band aids now) and I can finally put my thongs on after 7 days with no shoes. Went out today for the first time in 10 days!!! It felt fantastic to be out of the house. It looks like I won't be wearing shoes for at least another 2 weeks, maybe more. Luckily I like wearing thongs :lol:

We are off to Red Hill on Thursday for a week away with my BF from Qld. She has rented a beautiful French style farmhouse on 33 acres. Kids are going to love it. I am so glad I can walk better now, wouldn't be much of a holiday otherwise.

How is DD's new school going is she all settled in, she would be loving the warmer weather... lucky girls tell her this will be the only winter she wont feel the cold so enjoy it while she can...

Rory, Amanda and Ali how are you all going, From memory you are all UTD, getting out of the yuky 1st trimester by now.. and moving into the best bit the 2nd...

AFM.... I now have 3 sisters UTD, the latest one is 38 and have a 15 year old son, and has MS, so to say the least this asnt planed or expected... but she and the rest of the famliy is slowly getting used to the idea, it will be like having a 1st all over again, we are all now just hoping that her MS isnt affected to badly once she has her child, most of the test have come back all good, she has her 20 week scan in a few weeks to check out everything else as she has had a few MS treatments before she knew she was UTD...

we are still TTC, still without luck yet... dont know how much longer I will keep it up... I might have to admit defeat soon and say its not meant to be, but just the though of doing that breakes my heart...

we have all our plans in place now, will be going to Melbourne in Dec/Jan with pre-approvel ( hopefuly ) to be able to buy a house, ( still dont knw where we are going to go yet, so have a lot to decide on ) then in June BHL wants to travel up to Cape york then come back here pack up everything and Move home... so I am very happy with have some plans in place even if moving in the middle of winter isnt proberly not the best idea know to man kind, but its better than nothing...

Hiya Tali :) thanks for your newsy post! All is going well with us... DH has a job interview for the job in my hometown tomorrow! Fingers crossed! It's actually colder there in winter than down here. It snows within about 40km quite frequently there in winter because it's near the highlands.
Wish I could post more but I am using my iPhone and for some reason it doesn't like me posting lost posts... They often get lost... When I get on my pute I'll add more.

It has been a while between posts!!!! But like you said Tali, Facebook keeps us well updated.

Toes are doing beautifully! I have a small bit of nail regrowing on both nails which I am very excited about. I am now wearing shoes for the first time in over 6 weeks. Took much longer to heal than I expected but thankfully its all behind me now!!

Tali - I have a friend who recently had her second child and she has MS. It did set her back a bit, but things have improved a lot for her. Best of luck to your sister. And I'm sure if you just try and forget about conceiving, it might happen. I've heard that happening many times - fingers crossed for you as I know you really want it. How exciting to have some firm plans. Moving in winter will be a bit tricky, but make sure you buy/build a place with great heating!!

Bath - good luck to DH, hope he gets the job but I will be very sad to see you move. How is DD going at school and how are the boys coping without her? It must be strange for them.

I'm in the midst of organising DH's surprise 40th birthday party which is in July. I think I have found a venue and my graphic designer whizz cousin is doing the invites. DH has no idea and hope it stays that way!!

I've just come on for a quick lurk too! Just home from school swimming lessons with Wade and Niall. Yes they miss Verity terribly Mel! But maybe it won't be too long... because right as I type DH is having his interview up in Sydney with the Westpac area manager that might employ him in my hometown! :pray: that DH says all the right things and they have the same rapport as they seemed to have over the phone!

Mainly came in to see if BB Admin have uploaded Rory's preggie avvy yet... sent in it well over a week ago now.

Looking forward to the big BB May Meetup! Check out the Meetups area of the forum. Might add a link to my sig. I hope as many members come as possible so i can have one final hurrah!

Only other news is that DH bought us a new car on the weekend. A 2008 Kluger Grande. Need to Google for reviews... anyone driven one? I haven't seen it yet... DH had to do the test drive without me as our car has died and he had to go up alone. All I know is that this new car seats 7 and has an inbuilt DVD system to keep the kids entertained... maybe this will help them enjoy car trips a bit more... the trip up to Tamworth and back was pretty horrible as they were so unsettled and fought most of the way. Except when i was driving hehe I noticed 3 sets of huge eyes in my rear view mirror and didn't hear a peep for the whole 50km I drove! They were all so spun out to see me behind the wheel! I just hope this 4WD is going to be easy enough to drive... oh well, at least it's safer with seven impact cushions.

Niall is too quiet... be back again soon...

Bath, a new car how exciting!!!! My BF's DH works for Toyota and that is what she drives and loves it. And it looks great too. Marley thinks the best part of it is when the boot closes by itself!! You just push a button and it closes very slowly. I can just imagine the kids watching you drive!!! As they don't see if often it must have been quite strange - but good tactic to keep them quiet ;). Poor boys, missing their big sister. I'm sure DH will get the job - he has such good experience. Are you excited to be moving? Will have to check out the May meet up, haven't been on much lately and must have missed it. If not, we'll will definitely have our own Junies farewell.

We are looking at getting a new car too. DH wrote his off in March (he wasn't hurt) and he doesn't know what to get. Thankfully he is using his dads car for the time being. His mum has offered to sell us her 2007 VW Polo at a bargain so we are seriously considering that. DH has got a job transfer to the city so will only be using the car when he does afternoon shift.

Ok I have got Niall here right beside me on the floor playing the Angry Birds app on my iphone... he LOVES it! He is sitting on carpet incase he drops it... don't want another smashed screen!

Mel: thanks for the endorsement for the Kluger. it's a shocking name for a car though... reminds me of the horror flick Freddy Kruger character. I have sat and been driven in a standard model Kluger... my neighbours car... and it seemed ok. Not much room in the back to store suitcases and shopping compared to our mitsubishi wagon. Last year we managed to fit 4 Ikea boxes containing shelving units in the back of the old car... don't think the Kluger will be able to do the same... oh well... can't have everything I guess. We are very excited to be moving... mainly because it will be great to be living close to "The Cousins" (my sis's family). Plus we have found a house to rent that is much nicer than our current one and with a salt water pool... in the same block as Verity's school and around the corner from The cousin's school. Everything is so close in my hometown... looking forward to a greater sense of community. Even though i have lots of friends in Melbourne the place is so big that arranging get togethers with them is like making arrangements with people in another town...as we all know here! Plus I know that driving will be more manageable for me and my thyroid isn't getting any better... my ability to be a mainly pedestrian for much longer I suspect is limited... just don't have the energy :(


10 mins later: hot off the press! DH just rang! He is in the cab heading back to Sydney airport! He said "the interview couldn't have gone better!" :leap: And will know this Friday if he has the job... there are 3 other applicants though... please send "hire D vibes into the heads of the area managers" (there were two interviewing him). Don't worry if D gets the job we will come down and visit you girls in Melbourne heaps... DH's family live in Gippsland remember so we'll be there too! So it won't be much different to the last year with catchups being few and far between... but the ones we have had have been great... :grouphug: and it will be life as usual in here as we have seen with Tali and her moves! Gotta love this online forum caper as Maya would say :)

Thats great news Bath, sending though loads of Give D the job vibes :), the house sound purfect for you all, a pool is always a plus...

thats the best thing about BB and FB it doesnt matter where we live we still all get to catch up and know everyones goss...

Mel its nice to know that you GF got though having a baby with MS its such a unknown for us all, doesnt help that she lives in country Vic, so will be a far away from us if anything does go wrong... but she will have her son and her DP would have hopefully moved in by then so will be able to help her out too...

You know, I was thinking you wouldn't have to go visitless...I HAVE always wanted to go to at least one of the festivals there, so I could always make a dual-purpose trip :) Of course, if you ever get the mad itch to attend the Korumburra Buskers Festival, there's a big patch of farm nearby ;)
The Kluger isn't necessarily a 4WD, but maybe the Grande is? I thought it was an all wheel drive, but I may be wrong for this model.

Today was going ok till I rearended a lady who stopped after the give way line to give way to a u-turn...I wasn't expecting it and I bumped her :( Damn, damn, damn! Technically she's at fault for stopping for a u-turner, but I'm liable. Dammit.Girl needs rocking to sleep, I'll keep kurking!

not sure all of you know, but my pg turned out to be a blighted ovum...so it's been just over a month since I had my D&C and I'm feeling not to bad.

Other news Cody broke his elbow nearly two weeks ago, he's in a full cast we had our first check up today at the hospital.....two and a half hours later a quick 5min consult and we have to go back in two weeks for the same. Boy I had have to try and entertain two children in a tiny hallway with heaps of people all with a broken limb or something...not fun I can tell you.

We went camping over the weekend just gone, went well......had a few drinks which is out of the ordinary, but was nice to be able to do. Lauchlan was riding his bike down the hill and hit a tree root and lost it, face first into the ground....loosened his two teeth beside his top adult front...lucky the dental van is at the school, went there yesterday and all is well. Lucky he was wearing his helmet too would hate to know what would have happened if he fell differently.

:hug: Amanda. D&C's are never easy. You might recall i had a Blighted Ovum too three months before conceiving Wade. Hope all is well with Cody and Lauchlan too! Isn't it strange how accidents and ill health all seem to hit at the same time... let's hope that you've had your 3 events and now it's over for a while! How did Cody break his elbow?

I'm trying to be disciplined and focus on house work but geeze it's exhausting trying to keep going. DH hopefully hears tomorrow whether he has the job... I'm being optimistic and have started packing... so far just things we don't need on a daily basis like Christmas Decorations and jigsaw puzzles (we have sooo many of these!). So even if DH misses out on this job it won't matter if that stuff is in boxes. If DH gets the job he might start in 6 or 8 weeks... often hard to say... his current boss might not release him until the end of the financial year. I hope it's sooner rather than later so that we can rent the house that's available ATM! But not before the Big May Meetup! ;)

yes i have a big 4yr old now! and he had his 4yr immunisation needels today.
OMG i was dreading it but i think he prooved me wrong big time! the first needle he gave a little frown and said "owe" the second needle i dont think he even felt it, i had to look to see if it had already been done!!
Nixon doesnt have to have any more speech therapy!! which is a big milestone, hes been going for 10months, so he has come a long way and much much clearer in speech and his articulation!
I'm attending a support thingo next week called "Parents as case co-ordinators) its once a week for 7wks and they have a chreche for the kids. so hoping to get some advice and ideas on how to cope with certain situations and also hear from other parents going through similar.
He is still going to OT ocne a week, his sensory thing is very up and down....he has gone back to biting and bit Tyron twice last week once on the back and arm, poor thing it must have hurt so much... we are also doing some "Theraputic Listening" we have special headphones and he has to listen to it twice a day. he can play games/puzzles etc just no tv or vid games when its on.

Rory- wow almost half way, do u have your scan coming up?
Bath - so where abouts are u moving to? fingers crossed for tomorrow i hope dh gets the job!!

Just a quick one to let all my lovely Junies know that we are UTD... I got a lovely BFP last week, took awhile to sink in, then I wasnt going to say anything until 12 weeks, but thought if anything does happen to this little one I will need the support from BB more than ever so I might as well tell everyone....

I am 5weeks today, so far so good without any MS, but that in its self is enough to worry me lol, but I a sure it will kick in, in the next week or so...

Me: Well DH missed out on this first job application... they gave it to a local man... typical country mentality of this particular town. Oh well... it would have been a backward step for DH career-wise. He was doing that type of lending 10 years ago. He was probably over qualified. Doesn't matter... there are a few more roles available with other banks. The only thing that stopped him feeling totally crap yesterday was that soon after he found about the job he also found out that our car loan was approved. This was actually in doubt for a while... stupidly because we have no debt!!! :wall: The people processing the loan didn't understand why DH didn't have a mortgage and material assets... of course using our money to be able to let me be a SAHM for 9 years, completing my degree and to put our DD through a good school aren't assets in their eyes. Buuut we got it. Just as bloody well.

I'm going to fly in the face of pessimism and keep packing! So far I have done the Christmas decorations, the special event kitchen items, the Ravensburger jigsaw puzzles (2 tea-chests full!) and today I'm doing the vases and ornaments. Gotta think positive!!!

You might have seen I had my 18 week scan - all is perfect :dance: Now I am just stressing about saving money for mat leave - I set a goal of $20,000 :o by September but sadly I think we will be a few k short LOL! Still, I too am optimistic LOL!

Hi girls - long time between posts, sorry!!! It's amazing how time gets away from me sometimes. Loving the new look BB, very nice. Lots to catch up on.....

Amanda - so very sorry to hear about your loss, hope you doing ok. Poor boys, hope they are on the mend. Must be tricky having a cast on.

Maya - I can sympathise with the "rear ender" as DH wrote off his car in March doing the same thing. Glad it wasn't serious. Still not nice though.

Rory - sounds like everything is moving along smoothly, 18 weeks already! When do you start your mat leave? I'm sure you'll save enough, it always works out in the end. Love the new avy too.

Tali - I posted in your announcement thread but like Maya, it was the best news I had that day and I had the biggest smile on my face for you. Can't wait to go on the ride with you!!!

Nic - it looks like Nixon had a great birthday and what a brave boy with his needles. Great news about the speech therapy, he must have made some great progress. Is the Parents as Case Coordinators for parents of kids having speech difficulites? My SIL is attending speech therapy with my nearly 4 year old niece and I think she would really benefit from something like this. Wonder if they do it in Melb? Biting is such a hard thing to deal with and poor Tyron to be on the receiving end - OUCH!

Bath - it's nice to know that I am missed :) Sorry to hear DH didn't get the job but I'm sure a better opportunity is just around the corner. Are you enjoying the new car? I find it so strange that the more debt you are in, the more they will give you!!!! Crazy. Any wonder there are so many people struggling with ridiculously high mortages that they can't afford to pay for! How is DD going at school?

DH still hasn't got his car yet. We are buying his mum's 2007 VW Polo as she is buying the new 2010 model. Fantastic buy and it's in excellent condition. I think DH is quite excited about it as its normally me that gets to drive the new cars. He also applied for a new position in the city, which he got and starts at the end of this month. He is very excited as he's been doing the same thing for nearly 20 years and felt it was time for a change. He hasn't worked in the city for years, so that will be interesting for him as he doesn't know his way around very well. When he is on day shift he will catch the train (at 5.30am :o) but he will have to drive when on afternoon or twilight shifts. The new job means no more night shift which is great!!!

My move to Caulfield is fast approaching, but I think I am stalling! I will need to be in my new office by end of June so might coincide my move with school holidays and have 2 weeks of less traffic.

Marley STILL not doing #2's in the toilet. Sticker chart not working, really at a loss what to do next???? Any suggestions????

Hiya Mel! Yes I did miss you! What great news about your DH getting a new role in the city and with NO more night shifts!!! I hope he soon feels comfortable in the CBD... my DH resisted working in there for years when we lived at Caulfield/Brighton but now he loves it and will even miss it when we move. He is having a sick day off today... as he has also caught the cold the boys and I have had. Hasn't stopped him from using the time to look for a new job though... has sent his resume off to yet another recruitment agency this morning. There's a job with the NAB that he seems to fancy... fingers crossed!!!

The car is going great... DH drives it at every opportunity now LOL even though he was feeling poorly in bed this morning he woke up and said "I'll drive Wade to school!" LOL The only disappointment is that the car doesn't have a port for our iphone/ipod :( DH was on the phone organising one to be installed this morning too.

Number 2's in the toilet: Does she do them in the public toilets when you are out and about? This is how Niall started... through sheer desperation! LOL I suspect it's just one thing your just going to have to wait out. I wouldn't even ask... pretend that it's no big deal. I can imagine how frustrating it must be. We let Niall still use his potty although if he is in our bedroom and wants to go he will use our big toilet instead of having to run all the way back to the potty at the other end of the house. I could put away the potty but will wait until after we move now I think... rinsing it out doesn't phase me that much.

So how is everyone else coping with the new forum changes? Biggest issue I have is reading against stark white... as opposed to the previous mauve. I'm having to squint.

I hope that you all had a wonderful mothers day, I got a wonderful book from DH..it's the Margaret Fulton's Encyclopedia of food and cookery. It is a wonderful pressie and of course I got all the goodies from the school mothers day stall from the boys and oh how they love to give gifts. Cody's arm is going well have to go back to the hospital on Wednesday for another x-ray and see the Dr, then on Friday I have my appointment at the gyne for a check up after the D&C. Finally got my AF last Thursday so at least that's on thing, but since having Julian I've now got a longer cycle no idea why though.

Feeling depleted and like the four of us could do with a week away somewhere completely new - we settled today on both properties, so now we're landowners...very tired, drawn out and relieved landowners.

Amanda I hope they can tell you why your cycle are so much longer now, I know mine took ages to settle into some type of pattern, some were 40 days, great if your not TTC not so great when you are ;)

Maya yeah on been landowner how exciting, do you know when you will start to build, have you worked out the type of house you want yet? maybe to need a summer get away, QLD is always nice at this time of year Cairns or Darwin would be perfect ;), only they cost a fortune...

Well thank you all for my congratulations, I am still getting used to the idea of 4... I havent any MS yet which is a slight worry for me, as I am normally very sick, but I am sure it will kick in very soon I am only 6 weeks as of tomorrow, thats the problem with finding out so soon makes this whole pgncy this a very long 9 mths lol, we are thinking about coming down to melbourne to have this baby in Dec/jan as where we are dont deliver and make you go into Mackay 2.5 hrs away and seeing as my labours are only 3 to 4 hrs thats not leaving us much time... they normally get you the mother to move into hospital accomoadation ( sp?) at about 37 weeks, so we though if I am going to have to sit around and wait for this baby away from home I might as well do that with people who love us and could look after the winkies... seeing as BHL would have to take time off to look after the winkies if I was in mackay, ( not that we would have done that we would just have stayed on here until labour started and risk the drive or just make the local hospital deal with me in labour, lol...

Bath - she never goes full stop! Either out in public or at home. I keep asking her why she doesn't like to go to the toilet and she told me the other day that there will be blood :o Not sure where that has come from but I have been reassuring her that it's not the case. Maybe someone at creche told her? That might be the reason, what do you think? Now we just keep telling her that she won't bleed and its ok to go to the toilet. But you are right, it's one of those things that we just have to ride out. Thankfully being blonde, you won't see my grey hairs after all this!! How is DH going with the job hunting?

Amanda - that cook book looks amazing, I bet you will use it all the time. I love the mother's day stall gifts. I'm on the P&F at school so I work on the stall and I love helping the preppies choose their presents. Did you get many double ups? Thankfully we have a very small school and I know most of the siblings so we kept a list so that the mums didn't get 2 of the same present. Good luck with your appointment today, hope it all goes well and with Cody's arm too.

Maya - Congraluations!!!! Glad its all been finalised, its such a stressful process I can understand why you need a holiday!!! Tropical far north Queensland would be perfect! Pity it is so expensive. I think as our Junie babies grow up, they do change their behaviour. Marley is alot better these days, she still has her "feral" moments but not quite as often. My old boss runs a very successful Alpaca Stud at Flowerdale which was thankfully untouched by the fires (one of the very few places that didn't burn). Tali - I am finding it a bit weird too, but like anything new it will take a while to get used to. That will be very exciting if you do come down to have your baby, I'm sure you family with be stoked. Hope the morning sickness manages to stay away, it must be awful!!

I am in the process of organising DH's surprise 40th birthday party. It's been so much fun. We are having a 70's theme party, with dressing up compulsory! I have finished by music list and that was the best fun ever! Googling all those old disco hits, gigging out at my desk. We have about 120 songs, so that should see us through 4.5 hours. I am going to check out the venue today, a beautiful place by the water. We have been there heaps of times to eat but I didn't realise they had a function room. Still need to work out a costume - was going to do ABBA but I am not wearing one of those mini dresses!!! Or a pants suit! If I was a size 8, maybe yes!!! I think I might end up hiring something that is just 70's, rather than a character. I would love DH to dress up as a character from KISS, his favourite band!! He thinks we are going to a 70's party for a friend - he has no idea! Let's hope I can keep it secret for another 11 weeks.

Hi all- I thought I would just drop in and catch up on everybody's news!

Tali- Good idea about having bubs in Melb, at least you will have all your family around to cluck over you and the kids. Right at the top corner of the screen there is a tab that says settings, if you click on this you can see all the threads you are subscribed too.

Bath- Fingers crossed that your DH gets a job soon and you can make your big move. How is DD going at her new school, is she all settled back into routine?

Maya- Congrats about becoming land owners, and selling your house. What an exciting new adventure you guys are about to embark on. I feel like we could do with a family get away, we might head over to Bali while I am on maternity leave and see MIL, at least flights should be cheapers outside of school holidays.

Mel- Big things happening for you guys with new jobs, and moving offices. We went through a terrible time trying to get Tori to poo on the toilet, it took a good 6-8 months after she was toilet trained for her to go. I took her to the GP who suggested we put her on Parachoc to make her poo nice and soft, because if they have done a poo that had hurt their bottom, this is when they get reluctant to go. Also what happens is when they don't go for a while the muscles start to weaken which makes it harder for them to go, and it kind of creates a vicious cycle. We were told to put her on the toilet after every meal for 10 mins so she would learn to feel the urge to go and actualley wait for the poo to come, however, trying to get her to sit there for that long was not very successful and usually resulted ina screaming match. However, once she was doing nice soft poo's, that she could physically hold onto, and she was going regularly she was much better. She still doesnt really like using the toilet though- and still waits until the last possible moment to actualley go. Good Luck!

As for us things are going well, Tori is at Kindy 5 days a fortnight and loving it, she is already picking up so much new information, and trying to sound out words. She will be full time pre-primary next year she can't, but I can't believe she is already into formal schooling before she is even 4. Liam is going great guns too, he is talking all the time now, and really well and he is just in the process of toilet training and becoming a big boy. Pregnancy going well, I can't believe I am almost half way. I am really looking forward to going on Maternity leave this year, I love my class, but work is really hard work this year, and I am more than ready to have a few months off.

Glad to see everyone is doing well, and it is great to pop back in and still be able to catch up on everyone's news after all this time.

Hey girls, another long time no post run! Just thought I would spread my news - DH's masters are now passed AND he got a $25k TAX-FREE scholarship to study teaching (maths and physics) at Ballarat Uni. Bring on 12 months mat leave (starting 27 August...!)

wow it has been a long time hasnt, but never feels that way as I get to read all your news on FB so feel I dont miss out on much...

I hope all our little Junies had wonderful birthdays, cant believe they are 4, where has all the time gone, I know Kailaia is getting her 4 year old attatued we have been very lucky with her but lately she is becomes very defiante ( sp?) wont eat her dinner and yesterday didnt eat her lunch either, she will sit there a chew a piece of meat for 30 mins, thenwhen she is in the bath she wont hop out so last night froze as she was in cold water for so long, and to top of a great night she didnt want to go to bed as she " Said I'm NOT sleepy !" if she keeps this up we might have to smack her, as there isnt much else left to do... but for now the threat of no TV was enough for her to run off to bed last night but not her own she ended up sleeping with Zayden, she hates sleeping in her bed... What has happened to my sweet easy going little girl...

Well not much else here, M/S hit like I thought it would still here, and like with the girls I am having issues with the taste on my mouth, lets just say its not pretty... I will be 12 weeks tomorrow, so things have gone well so far...
BHL has gone for a job that would have him FIFO of Melbourne so I am hoping he gets it, but dont have much dfaith that he will as its been almost a week without any word from the company, I think I wanted it too much so jinked it away, silly I know but I so wanted to go back home... But either way we have decided that we will be going to Melbourne for the birth of this one in Dec/Jan so at least thats something to look forward too, BHL has said that once we are there he will be looking into jobs so that with any luck we wont have to come back here, well apart from packing up that is...

Happy birthday to all our Junie babies who have recently celebrated their birthdays. 4 years has flown by!!! Marley had a little party last Saturday, just with family but she still had fun.

Tali - I have a defiant 4 year old too lol!!! Very stubborn and likes doing things her way. She got a baby doll from her nana called Baby Annabel and she adores it. We have been using that to punish her, she can't have Annabel if she is going to be naughty! And its working!! She gets very upset if I have to take Annabel away and apologises. Can't wait for you to come back to Melbourne!!! And you will be near Maya and I - so no excuses for not catching up. Sorry to hear the MS has hit you - I hope it improves soon.

She carries this baby around like it is real (and it looks real!) and I got pulled up at the supermarket by an old lady who thought it was a real baby and she was worried how it was being carried. It was very funny and the lady laughed when she realised it wasn't real.

Chelsea got her school report and it was excellent. Parent/teacher interviews on Wed and teacher is very impressed with how well she is doing. Music to a parents ear! She really loves school and I am very proud of her.

Rory - fantastic news on DH's scholarship. They are usually highly sought after so to get one is excellent. Can't believe 18 weeks have flown by already. Love the video of Ollie's cake - I showed DH and he was mighty impressed. I loved their reaction when the dry ice came into effect.

Ali - thanks for the advice. I might have to head down that road soon as it still isn't getting any better. I am really at my wits end on how to deal with it. Her poo isn't hard so I'm not sure if its the hardness that is affecting her. But anything is worth a go at this point. Baby Annabel is helping now, if she continues to poo in her undies, she cannot play with Annabel so I will see how that goes too. Glad to hear the pregnancy is going along nicely and enjoy your upcoming maternity leave.

I moved offices this week, started on Tuesday. I love my new office, its nice and bright and I have a great view being on the 6th floor. Travel is not too bad, I leave at a reasonable time so miss most of the nasty traffic. One of my girlfriends is sitting an exam at Caulfield racecourse today so she can early and we had coffee to ease her nerves! Some fabulous little shops around here. DH is enjoying his new job, travel is a bit long for him but he is getting used to it. He is on leave next week for the first week of school holidays so that helps.
